The Morning Report — 6//14/24

Good Morning Kids.

First of all, the insane notion of Israel, on any level and for whatever reason, negotiating with Hezbollah and Hamas is like Sharon Tate Negotiating with Charles Manson. So now that Hamas is by all indications that we are privy to on the ropes, the second front up north in Lebanon with Hezbollah looks to be heating up and of course, its mission is identical to Hamas, wipe Israel off the face of the earth as a sovereign nation state and in so doing annihilate every Jew in the process. That's just for starters since the goal of Islam itself is to wipe every non Islamic nation state off the face of the earth and ditto every Jew and other non Muslim. thereby establishing Earth itself as an Islamic world. Period, full stop.

It is now obvious to all but the most clueless that for a multitude of reasons, sadly some that go back centuries, the world in general also wants to see Israel wiped off the map. Sadder still this resurgent madness is being led by the United States of America. Cold comfort that the USA is being lorded over by an illegitimate junta whose supporters have ironically enough have sought to wipe it and its history off the face of the earth for decades as well. And here we all are.

On a not necessarily unrelated note, there's this angle to the Hunter Biden gun charge conviction:

There is another important and interesting element to this story.  Hunter’s legal team have already signaled that they intend to invoke the 2nd Amendment on appeal.  That’s right: they’re going to argue the NRA position that Form 4473 violates the Constitution.  I happen to agree with this argument.  The one right recognized in the Bill of Rights contingent on anything at all is the 2nd Amendment.  I believe this to be unconstitutional.  You don’t lose your right to free speech if you’re a drug addict.  You don’t lose your right to freedom from searches and seizures.  Why should you lose the right to defend yourself?

Does it make practical sense to deny drug addicts access to firearms?  Of course.  But in my belief system, the pragmatic must often take a back seat to the principle.  I must admit, though, that I am looking forward to watching the leftist media argue that the verdict violates the 2nd Amendment.  I might even tune in to The View, and risk the inevitable brain cell loss that comes from listening to their “reasoning,” to watch their collective minds melt.

There’s a third important issue.  Just hours after Hunter’s conviction for violating federal gun laws, Joe (and by “Joe” I mean whoever is really president) chose not to cancel his speech to the gun control organization Everytown for Gun Safety.  The bizarrely ironic political decision to give this speech on this day must be one of the weirdest moments in politics I’ve ever witnessed.  The idiots in the room did not see the irony, chanting, “Four more years!” and applauding loudly at every partially unintelligible word passing from the teleprompter through the corn maze of Joe’s brain and out through the microphone. . .

. . . Finally, the third and most important issue.  Once again, Joe doubled down on his argument that having guns to protect yourself from a tyrannical government is silly because “you’d need an F-15.”  Many have pointed out the obvious threat in this argument, and they are correct.  It’s clearly a threat.  But there’s something more subtle at play here.  Without realizing the implications, he’s actually arguing that fully armed F-15s owned by private citizens are protected by the 2nd Amendment.

Think about it.  If you agree that the 2nd Amendment is to protect you from a tyrannical government — and I’d argue that we’re watching that tyranny progress in real time — then logically, F-15s and tanks, and whatever else citizens need to defend themselves against that threat, are protected arms.  I don’t want to live in a world like that, but then, I haven’t threatened the American people several times with the use of fighter-bomber aircraft.  I’m not making that argument; I’m just pointing out that Joe Biden has been making it unintentionally.

All of this is part and parcel of, as I had stated, erasing America as founded and replacing it with yet another failed socialist/globalist paradise on earth. And it is we who stand in the way. This time defined as white Christian nationalists, with or without the word MAGA thrown in there for good measure.

On a more upbeat note, there's this bit of good news about the execrable SPLC, a regime enforcement arm and propaganda mill.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, a hateful scam, has been in freefall ever since it purged its founder, who originated the scam. Say what you will about Morris Dees (and as a guy whom the SPLC named as a hate group of one, I’ve had lots to say over the years), but he was a good self-promoter. Post-Dees, the SPLC has become a generic albeit somewhat more professional leftist group caught in its own cancel culture spiral.

The SPLC has been battling its own union which in typical nonprofit fashion is even worse than the group (it endorsed Islamic terror) and has now reportedly cut a quarter of its staff. That’s bigger than it sounds because that’s only about 60 people.

The Supreme Court has unanimously rejected the challenge to the FDA's ruling on the abortion pill.

The court, in a unanimous opinion, said the anti-abortion groups and physicians challenging the medication, mifepristone, lacked the legal standing to bring the case.

Abortion rights are one of the key issues in the November election and the administration of Democratic President Joe Biden had urged the court to maintain access to the drug, which was approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2000. His opponent Donald Trump leads a Republican Party broadly favoring blocks to abortion access.

The mifepristone case was the first significant abortion case heard by the conservative-dominated Supreme Court since it overturned the previously long-held constitutional right to abortion two years ago.

"We recognize that many citizens, including the plaintiff doctors here, have sincere concerns about and objections to others using mifepristone and obtaining abortions," said Justice Brett Kavanaugh, who wrote the 9-0 opinion.

"But citizens and doctors do not have standing to sue simply because others are allowed to engage in certain activities," Kavanaugh said. "The plaintiffs lack standing to challenge FDA's actions."

Standing is a doctrine requiring plaintiffs to have a real and tangible -- often monetary, but it could also be about a limitation of their freedom -- stake in a lawsuit. The court is saying that having concerns about this pill is enough to weigh in on the matter as a commentator, lobbyist, donor, or voter, but it's not enough to be a litigant in the matter.

Garland's DOJ says that he is immune to prosecution for defying a congressional subpoena on an absurdly flimsy pretext that he wants to "protect the nation from deep fakes made of Joe Biden's voice."

He says no AG has ever been prosecuted before for asserting executive privilege. Well, no one has ever attempted to claim that executive privilege applies to completely non-confidential statements made to a prosecutor.

Furthermore, it's also unprecedented to prosecute a president for keeping classified documents (which the Presidential Records Act suggests he was permitted to keep). But you didn't let the lack of precedent stop you there, huh?

President Joe Biden's Department of Justice issued a memo Wednesday declaring that Attorney General Merrick Garland is protected from prosecution for contempt of Congress because of Biden's use of executive privilege.

The memo's release conveniently came hours before the House of Representatives took the long-anticipated step of voting to hold Garland in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with Congressional subpoenas for records related to Special Counsel Robert Hur's investigation of President Joe Biden's willful mishandling of classified information.

JD Vance and other Republicans have introduced a bill to ban DEI in the federal government and federal contracting.

Congressional Republicans introduced a bill on Wednesday that would eliminate all diversity, equity, and inclusion positions in the federal government and bar federal contractors from requiring DEI statements and training sessions.

The Dismantle DEI Act, introduced by Sen. J.D. Vance (R., Ohio) and Rep. Michael Cloud (R., Texas), would also bar federal grants from going to diversity initiatives, cutting off a key source of support for DEI programs in science and medicine. Other provisions would prevent accreditation agencies from requiring DEI in schools and bar national securities associations, like NASDAQ and the New York Stock Exchange, from instituting diversity requirements for corporate boards.

"The DEI agenda is a destructive ideology that breeds hatred and racial division," Vance told the Washington Free Beacon. "It has no place in our federal government or anywhere else in our society."

Only 7% of Americans rate the Turnip Economy as "very good."

Only seven percent of voters believe President Joe Biden's economy is "very good," while 34 percent say it is "very bad," a 27-point differential, a CBS News poll found.

The poll suggests warning signs for Biden's reelection chances. The economy is the number one issue for voters.

Overall, Biden's economy is in bad shape, the poll found:

* Only 32 percent of voters think the economy is in very or fairly good shape
* 63 percent say the economy is in very or fairly bad shape
* Five percent are unsure

Inflation (75 percent) and the economy (81 percent) remain the top two issues for voters, the poll found. Global warming and abortion remain of relatively low importance, at 35 percent and 50 percent, respectively.

Best economy in history, Fat.

Joe Biden's net approval rating hits historic low, worse than that of every prior president -- except for one.

President Joe Biden on Wednesday set the record for the worst net approval rating of any president 1,240 days into office dating back more than 70 years, according to FiveThirtyEight's calculations.

As of 11:31 a.m., Biden's average approval rating on the ABC News-owned polling aggregator's website registered at a mere 37.6 percent, while an average of 57 percent disapproved of his performance. This translated to a -19.4 percent net rating for Biden.

The net score puts him in worse shape with the American electorate than any president since the 1940s at similar points in their terms, per FiveThirtyEight. His 37.6 percent approval rating was also lower than that of his predecessors at the same points in their presidencies, except for President George H.W. Bush.

And George H.W. Bush lost, of course.

This Politico "reporter" is practically in tears as he attempts to bully and shame billionaires into supporting the Traitorous Turnip again.

Wall Street executives spent three years doing everything they could to distance themselves from former President Donald Trump. Now they're busy coming up with reasons to vote for the guy.

Many high-dollar donors at banks, hedge funds and other financial firms had turned their backs on Trump as he spun unfounded claims that the 2020 election had been stolen and savaged the judicial system with attacks. Today, they're setting aside those concerns, looking past qualms about his personality and willingness to bulldoze institutional norms and focusing instead on issues closer to the heart: how he might ease regulations, cut their taxes or flex U.S. power on the global stage.

"I don't know that anyone really believed he was a threat to democracy," said Point Bridge Capital founder Hal Lambert, an investor and Republican donor. Lambert had backed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the 2024 primary but is now supporting Trump.

Republican business titans from hedge fund executive Nelson Peltz to hotel mogul Robert Bigelow have come out in favor of the presumptive GOP nominee. Even those who loudly denounced Trump's efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 election are backing his bid to return to the White House.

Blackstone Group CEO Stephen Schwarzman -- who once labeled the U.S. Capitol insurrection that followed a Trump speech on Jan. 6, 2021, "an affront to the democratic values" of the country -- is once again one of the former president's most important allies on Wall Street. Top financiers like hedge fund billionaire Bill Ackman, who called on the then-president to resign over the riot, and Citadel's Ken Griffin, who dubbed Trump a "three-time loser" in elections, are considering offering their support.

The new embrace of Trump threatens to further blunt the fundraising edge that President Joe Biden maintained through the opening innings of the 2024 campaign. But beyond that, it suggests that a key Biden argument -- that Trump's actions since his 2020 defeat have made him unfit to lead the country again -- is falling flat with a pivotal constituency that has an especially large stake in the rule of law.

The former president "is a much better choice than what we have now. Just check out the four years that Trump was in office versus the three years that President Biden was in office," said John Catsimatidis, the billionaire New York radio station owner and real estate investor. Gas and food prices were lower. It was easier to conduct business, he said, and it was a lot cheaper to secure financing for second homes.

"I remember I got a mortgage on one of my homes I bought in the suburbs for 2.75 percent," said Catsimatidis, who is estimated by Forbes to be worth $4.3 billion. "It's horrible what's going on."

"Donald Trump is a self-obsessed convicted felon who would do anything to regain power -- and if he does, has made clear he intends to rule as a dictator on day one," Biden campaign spokesperson Ammar Moussa said. "But for some billionaires none of that matters. They'll prop up a convicted white-collar crook so long as Trump slashes their taxes."

This "reporter" is trying to... tell on billionaires.

I still want to see more polling before I'm confident about it, but some polling seems to indicate that the sham "conviction" of Trump will have either a small effect or no effect at all.

Former President Donald Trump is leading President Joe Biden post-conviction, recent national surveys found.

A survey from the Economist/YouGov -- taken well after the Manhattan jury's guilty verdict -- asked registered voters, "In November 2024, who do you plan to vote for in the presidential election?"

Overall, 42 percent said they would vote for Trump, and 40 percent said they would vote for Biden -- a two-point difference. Notably, both Trump and Biden tied earlier in June with 42 percent support each. In other words, the Manhattan jury's guilty verdict in the former president's controversial business records trial has not negatively affected his support. In fact, Trump's support has remained steady, and Biden's has taken a slight dip.

A Marist poll of Pennsylvania voters show Trump ahead of Biden, and not losing support since the "conviction."

This poll of 1,181 registered voters in Pennsylvania was taken June 3-6, 2024, days after a kangaroo court in Manhattan turned former President Donald Trump into a convicted felon (for now).

The beauty of this poll is that it shows nothing's changed. While this is the first NPR/Marist poll of Pennsylvania, it still shows Trump leading His Fraudulency by two points, 47 to 45 percent, which is perfectly in line with all the pre-phony-conviction polls out of Pennsylvania.

Sad! The leftwing thought-controllers of the extremely well-funded Southern "Poverty" Law Center just laid off 60 union workers.

Hamas' leader Yahya Sinwar says that the deaths of civilians is justified as "necessary sacrifices."

He actually meant Palestinian deaths caused by Hamas' insane war of nihilism are "necessary sacrifices."

So the leader of Hamas says it's "necessary" that Gaza civilians should die.

Got it. We'll operate by that principle going forward.

According to a recent Wall Street Journal report, Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas, has been communicating directly with the group's officials in Qatar, using stark terms to describe the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Since the escalation of violence on October 7, Sinwar has referred to the substantial civilian casualties as "necessary sacrifices," revealing a grim acceptance of the toll on Gaza's population.

In his communications, which include a letter to Ismail Haniyeh following the death of three of Haniyeh's sons in an Israeli airstrike, Sinwar asserts that these deaths will "infuse life into the veins of this nation." He expresses a belief that Israel stands to lose more from the conflict than Hamas, suggesting a long-term strategy to leverage the high death toll to increase international scrutiny and pressure on Israel.

Additionally, Sinwar's correspondence shows disapproval of Hamas' political wing in Gaza discussing post-war plans and potential reconciliations with other Palestinian factions without his direct involvement. He vehemently opposes any such talks while the conflict is ongoing, asserting that Hamas has the resources to continue the fight for an extended period. "As long as fighters are still standing, and we have not lost the war, such contacts should be immediately terminated," he said. "We have the capabilities to continue fighting for months."

These are the people Joe Biden is desperate to save from their own murderous lunacy. All for a couple of thousand lousy votes in Dearborn, Michigan.

The four rescued Israeli hostages confirmed they were held in captivity by the Hamas "journalist." The "journalists" at the Crybully Nonsense Network are still claiming that there's no "evidence" to support this claim.

Israeli hostages who were freed in a rescue operation Saturday reportedly confirmed that they had been held by Palestinian journalist Abdallah Aljamal -- but a CNN story about the claim continues to say it is "without ... evidence."

CNN reported that allegation in an article headlined: "Israel alleges journalist held hostages in Gaza, without providing evidence."

CNN appears not to have considered that the hostages themselves might have corroborated the claim.

Since then, the Wall Street Journal published an article confirming that the hostages had, indeed, said that Aljamal was their captor. The Journal article noted:

Israeli security forces and the hostages identified Palestinian journalist Abdullah Aljamal, who lived in the apartment, as one of their captors. Abdullah and his father Ahmad Aljamal--a doctor and imam at a local mosque that is run by Hamas--were both killed during the operation. Their neighbors said they always knew that Abdullah Aljamal was affiliated with Hamas.

CNN has not yet updated its article to note that there is, in fact, evidence that the hostages were held by Aljamal.

CNN's lies fuel the antisemitic pro-terrorist insurrectionists. A town in Colorado just passed a resolution condemning antisemitic protests after pro-Hamas agitators screamed slurs at someone in their private home.

An anti-Israeli protest outside a private residence has prompted the Town of Superior to take unprecedented action.

Town trustees -- including one who is married to a Palestinian -- unanimously passed a resolution condemning protesters for "hate speech, antisemitism, and racism" against Jewish people.

While other places have seen far bigger protests, Superior is the first municipality in the state -- and possibly the nation -- to take a stand. Trustees say protesters have the right to hateful, even racist speech, but they -- as town leaders -- have the right and responsibility to condemn it.

[R]esidents packed a Board of Trustees meeting to weigh in on the resolution that condemned Students for a Democratic Society, the group behind the demonstration.

"They brought their hatred and vitriol to our town and left many of us feeling that we were not safe in our own neighborhood," said Stephanie Clarke, who is Jewish.

Superior resident Elliot Fladen suggested everyone should denounce the group's message.

"If it was the KKK marching down the street saying 'Lynch the Blacks,' or Westboro Church saying, you know, 'Do something to the homosexuals,' we would see people out and out demanding that this be condemned," Fladen told the board.

Another neighbor said he is a third generation Holocaust survivor who, before the protest, only knew about antisemitism from what his mom and grandfather told him.

"Growing up in America I thought I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore," he said. "On June 1, it came to my doorstep."

The Turnip Diaries: Biden Humiliates Himself and America at G7 Conference

It's a little "America's back, baby!" mixed with a heaping spoonful of "A Father's Love."

Joe Biden thinks that Hunter Biden went to trial because of political bias at the DOJ he uses to attack his enemies.

"If I weren't running for reelection, he would have gotten the plea deal," Biden told a confidant earlier this month, a person familiar with the conversation told Politico.

Hunter refused to accept a gun-related plea deal from the government in 2023. The offer of the gun plea deal came after his "sweetheart" plea deal blew up under judicial scrutiny, which the judge characterized as "atypical" and "not straightforward."

This may be true but in a narrow sense: If Biden weren't the "president," then perhaps no one would have looked very closely at the DOJ delivering a secret sweetheart deal for a Regime Nepot.

But it would have been unjust as hell. Other people face trial for illegal possession of a gun and tax cheating. And, if you're a Republican, you can go to jail for contempt or for not registering as the agent of a foreign government.

Biden had to be rescued by Italy PM Georgia Meloni after he wandered off again at a skydiving exhibition.

I know what you're thinking, and while the idea of strapping this turnip into a parachute and dropping him out of an airplane is hilarious, no, Joe Biden was on the ground in his earthshoes.

This is just humiliating for America: There are the leaders (or "leaders") of the G7 countries. For some reason, Justin Castreau is there. Are we still pretending Canada is a first world country? I thought we were just pretending to give them a morale boost, and then we'd stop.

Anyway, they're all looking in the right direction to see a skydiving exhibition.

But Joe Biden's making his own fun.

President Biden appeared to wander off at the G7 summit in Italy, with officials needing to pull him back to focus.

As world leaders applauded a parachuting presentation, Biden could be seen trailing off and stepping away from the group, appearing to talk to an officer packing a bag.

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, who is hosting the meeting of world leaders, then pulls back the US president to get his attention so he can rejoin his fellow world leaders.

During a recent interview with Piers Morgan, Kevin Spacey discussed his experience flying on private jets owned by Jeffrey Epstein, explaining that he only came to do so via his work with a foundation operated by Bill Clinton. The actor said he believed Epstein put the former president "at risk," and confirmed that there were "young girls" on the planes with them.

Spacey maintained, however, that he did not know who Epstein was until recently, emphasizing that he and the late convicted pedophile were never friends. He did not divulge the extent of Clinton's relationship with the financier.

He says it near the end of this clip. The first two minutes are just him denying he had anything to do with Epstein or Gisele Maxwell. He says he was hooked up with them by Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation, and was just meeting a lot of rich people at this time to raise money for the English theater the Old Vic.

Saudi Arabia Walks Away from the Petrodollar Agreement, a 50-Year Partnership to Only Sell Oil in Dollars?

Last month, Russia Hoaxer Jake Sullivan met with Saudi Arabia to try to work with them on various deal, despite Biden constantly propping up Saudi Arabia's enemy Iran and despite Biden calling the Saudi crown prince a murderer.

This is just some of that use of diplomatic Smart Power that Democrats are always bragging about.

No word about whether the Saudis agreed to renew the petrodollar deal, which helps prop up the value of the dollar by making it the only currency the Saudis will sell their oil for

But Newsmax reports that deal lapsed on June 9th, and reports further that the Saudis have decided against renewing it.

Heckuva job, Jakey!

The financial markets are bracing for disruption now that Saudi Arabia decided not to renew its 50-year petrodollar partnership with the United States, MSN reported.

This opens the door for Saudi Arabia to sell oil and other goods -- instead of exclusively in the U.S. dollar -- in multiple other currencies, including the Chinese renminbi, and in euros, yen, and digital currencies such as bitcoin.

Saudi Arabia's shift to other currencies is expected to hasten the global movement away from the dollar.

The contract, originally signed on June 8, 1974, expired on June 9, 2024, although the petrodollar system was established in 1972, when the U.S. decoupled its currency from gold.

The 1974 security agreement that the U.S. and Saudi Arabia signed heralded close cooperation between the two countries by establishing two joint commissions, one on economic cooperation and the second on Saudi Arabia's military needs.

The United States' goal was to motivate the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to ramp up its oil production and foster cooperation not only with that country but other Arab nations as well.

Surprise! Biden Claims He Won't Pardon Hunter, But White House Spokesman Katrine Jean Pierre Refuses to Rule Out Commuting Hunter Biden's Sentence, if Jailed

I kinda don't think this matters, because whatever Biden says, he's lying. His first act after the election will be to pardon Hunter, himself, his corrupt brother James, all the Biden children who received payments from overseas "business partners," and all of his aides who have likewise profited from the graft.

Now that they're being asked about commuting Hunter's (theoretical) sentence, they'll just lie about that.

But this does indicate an intent to deceive.

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday would not rule out the possibility of President Joe Biden commuting his son Hunter Biden's sentence after he was convicted this week on three felony charges in a federal gun trial.

Speaking to the press aboard Air Force One en route to Italy for a G7 summit, Jean-Pierre declined to definitively answer questions from reporters about whether Joe Biden would commute the sentence.

"I haven't spoken to the president about this since the verdict came out and as we all know, the sentencing hasn't even been scheduled yet," Jean-Pierre said about the possibility of a commutation, according to The Hill.

Last week, Biden said he would not pardon his son and would accept the trial's outcome. Jean-Pierre repeatedly referenced his comments ruling out a pardon while not discussing his position on a commutation, which would allow the president to wipe out a possible prison sentence for his son.

Kamala Harris Brags About Her Big Accomplishment: She Drops F-Bombs Now As Often As She Drops to Her Knees

Voters surveyed also do not believe she would be a good president if elected, 51%-40%, and are split on whether Harris should be replaced on the Democratic ticket in November. She has a bizarre attack line on Trump: She's going to attack him for selecting a running mate who will support him rather one that will fight him and undermine him.

"We have to know that sometimes people will open the door for you and leave it open. Sometimes they won't, and then you need to kick that f‑‑‑ing door down," Harris said to the summit's audience, sparking cheers. "Excuse my language," she added.

Harris told Morris, "My work has almost always been fueled by challenging the premise and not accepting tradition."

Like I said: This is a ploy to make her sound like a "maverick" or something.

Say do you remember how aghast the leftwing establishment was that Trump dared to use locker-room language like "assh*le" or the f-bomb? I do. I 'member.

She's trying to keep herself viable to replace Biden.

But that's crazy. Biden is obviously strong and vigorous and sharper than ever.

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

Gutting America's armed forces is a tried-and-true hobby of the dilettantes in congress and the administration who fancy themselves brilliant military strategists and experts on long-term geopolitical trends. Add to that the antipathy of the Democrat party to the concept of a strong military, and we have structural impediments to a powerful and efficient military. And the political purges begun by the Obama regime began the destruction of the officer's corps, and that has been ably continued by the retarded puppet currently sitting in the oval office. Oh...don't forget pure, unadulterated greed, in the guise of pork!

But the Biden/Obama junta is accelerating the destruction of our military in their latest pushback against the pro forma "Defense Authorization Act."

STATEMENT OF ADMINISTRATION POLICY

Just do a search for the word "oppose," and you will see exactly where they are focusing their destruction. For instance, they oppose incremental funding of another Virginia class submarine, instead they want the money to go into the bottomless pit of graft, otherwise known as infrastructure improvements. And their genius-level analysis of geopolitical trends tells them that we don't need a third missile interceptor site! And a "Drone Corps?" Apparently that's a silly idea, because obviously no army uses drones...or something like that.

Restricting DEI, paying the enlisted more, Tamping down AGW nonsense, making service academy appointments more objective, stopping transfer of Gitmo terrorists to the mainland...the administration opposes all of that.

This is a catastrophic reorganization of the military into an ersatz fighting force whose real mission is to shift the grand and glorious traditions of our military to a chaotic mess of woke idiocy, all concentrated on domestic functions, rather than the military's primary, legally defined mission to protect America from its enemies abroad.

Sadly, this has been going on for many years, and the senior officer corps is now 100% invested in this paradigm shift. How they expect to survive a real war is beyond me, although my guess is that the vast majority of these woke "warriors" have comfortable seats in the Pentagon and domestic bases...far from the fighting.

If anyone needs a reason to vote for Donald trump, here it is. Whether he can stop the destruction is a question that will be answered on January 20th, 2025. If he purges the leaders of our military of anyone who disagrees that the only mission is to kill our enemies and destroy their infrastructure, then we may have a chance. If he submits a military budget to Congress that does not fund anything outside of that mission, then we have a chance.

Civilian oversight and command of the military is a rational response to the historical interference of armies in politics. But when that oversight is allowed to co-opt military preparedness for political ends, it is just as destructive as a military that is invested in the political process. That is why Trump must be ruthless in his destruction of the military-political complex.

Can he do it? Can he choose the right people?

The fifth fold is a tribute to our country. In the words of Stephen Decatur, "Our country, in dealing with other countries, may she always be right, but it is still our country, right or wrong."

The sixth fold is for where our hearts lie. It is with our heart that we pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

The seventh fold is a tribute to our armed forces, for it is through the armed forces that we protect our country and our flag against all enemies, whether they be found within or without the boundaries of our republic.

The eighth fold is a tribute to the one who entered into the valley of the shadow of death, that we might see the light of day, and to honor our mother, for whom it flies on Mother's Day.

The ninth fold is a tribute to womanhood. It has been through their faith, love, loyalty and devotion that has molded the character of the men and women who have made this country great.

The 10th fold is a tribute to father, who has also given his sons and daughters for the defense of our country since he or she was first born.

The 11th fold represents the lower portion of the seal of King David and King Solomon and glorifies the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

The 12th fold represents an emblem of eternity and glorifies God the Father, the Son and Holy Ghost.

The 13th and last fold, when the flag is completely folded, the stars are uppermost, reminding us of our national motto, "In God We Trust."

The House barely voted to hold Merrick Garland in contempt for refusing to turn over the people's evidence in the Joe Biden documents case. Ten Republicans didn't vote, resulting in a squeaker vote of 208-207.

A federal judge has rejected Biden's unconstitutional and rewriting of Title IX to change "sex" to "sex and gender identity."

The Guidance Documents' interpretation of "sex" and the accompanying requirement that schools treat "gender identity" the same as sex flouts Title IX. The Department lacks the authority to "rewrite clear statutory terms to suit its own sense of how the statute should operate," particularly in a way that undercuts a statute's purpose. Util. Air Regul. Grp. v. EPA, 573 U.S. 302, 328 (2014). Yet this is exactly what the Guidance Documents do. By interpreting the term "sex" in Title IX to embrace "gender identity"120 as distinct from biological sex, the Guidance Documents are contrary to law and exceed the Department's statutory authority.

Another federal judge, possibly from Hawaii, has struck down Florida's laws against gender-blending children, citing "discrimination."

Don't worry -- the appeals court will not let this stand.

The law, heavily championed by DeSantis, made Florida one of the most restrictive states for transgender care. U.S. District Court Judge Robert L. Hinkle wrote in his opinion, "Transgender opponents are of course free to hold their beliefs. But they are not free to discriminate against transgender individuals just for being transgender. In time, discrimination against transgender individuals will diminish, just as racism and misogyny have diminished. To paraphrase a civil-rights advocate from an earlier time, the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice."

Judge Hinkle further stated, "The State of Florida can regulate as needed but cannot flatly deny transgender individuals safe and effective medical treatment -- treatment with medications routinely provided to others with the state's full approval so long as the purpose is not to support the patient's transgender identity."

This is obviously wrong, and our crazed Marxist ideologue here will soon be told that.

Update: DeSantis: "I am not going to turn over the destiny of this state to liberal judges." He predicts a quick overturning of this lawless ruling. He also embarrasses a stupid reporter.

Newly Leaked Entries fron the Trans Terrorists' Journal

Newly leaked pages from the Nashville school shooter's journal depict a profoundly disturbed young woman with intense daddy issues.

Audrey Elizabeth Hale, who identified as a trans male, targeted the Christian Covenant School on March 27, 2023, killing three children and three members of the school's staff before being shot dead by responding officers.

Her pronouns are Dead/Hellbound.

Even though police shot the suspect dead inside the school, the FBI has repeatedly refused to release Hale's writings, arguing that doing so "could reasonably be expected to interfere with enforcement proceedings."

Lie. This agency does nothing but lie to us, harass law-abiding citizens, and cover up the crimes of its cronies, and then demands we respect it as an institution of law and justice.

Last week, the Tennessee Star reported on dozens of other leaked pages from Hale's journal, including an entry in which she described her struggles with trans ideology.

Later, Hale wrote, "I will be of no use of love for any girl if I don't have what they need: boy's body / male gender."

Again, she wrote: "Everything Hurts."

In a political rant, Hale also lashed out at the United States, claiming that the country has failed to protect the rights of gun owners, "transgenders," and "non-binary" Americans.

"So now in America, it makes one a criminal to have a gun or, be transgender, or non-binary," wrote Hale on February 20, 2023. "Disabled have rights, civil races have rights, LGBTQ have rights, gun owners have rights."

In an entry titled "My Imaginary Penis," Hale expounded more on her gender struggles and described her perverted sexual fantasies involving stuffed animals.

"I finally found the answer--that changing one's gender is possible," wrote Hale in the March 11, 2023, entry. She went on to describe her attempts to simulate intercourse between a "stuffed boy doll" she named Tony and another stuffed animal.

"G-d, I am such a pervert," wrote Hale. "I waste too much time in my fantasies."
