Even leftists are now admitting that woke = broke.
Jennifer Sey explains how she went from leftist to Trump supporter.Read the whole thing. Justine Bateman proclaims the end of cancel culture.
Going into the election, I was scolded by people telling me why what I was prioritizing in my voting choice was wrong. COVID-19 is over. Boys in girls' sports isn't happening. No one is getting censored. You're getting it all wrong. Subtext: You're an idiot influenced by far-right loons, and you're a bigot to the core. What happened to you, Jen? Here's what happened to me. I get to care about what I want to care about. And for the last 10 years, the far Left has been not only telling us what we need to care about but smearing us and canceling us if we don't agree. We dissident former lefties have been called racists, misogynists, Nazis, grandma-killers, transphobes, bigots, and fascists and generally cast aside as unworthy of employment or membership in polite society. The election was a big middle finger to all of that. The Left canceled too many of us. The outcasts spoke up and rejected the crazy on Nov. 5. Sure, we may have chosen our own brand of crazy. But, that brand of crazy knows men and women are different, boys don't belong in girls' sports, inflation is real, free speech is the most fundamental right in a democracy, and Vice President Kamala Harris was installed, not elected, as the Democratic candidate. No matter how much propaganda Democrats spewed at us about "joy" and Harris being "brat," we saw through it. The Left mobilized all of the legacy media and Hollywood. It had Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Cardi B, Meryl Streep, Oprah, Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, CNN, and the New York Times. And it wasn't enough. Millions of people who never in a million years thought that they'd cast a vote for President-elect Donald Trump did so as a vote against elitism and smugness and an entire class of overeducated, hysterical coastal elites who think they get to tell us all what to think and how to live -- and punish us with cancellation if we disagree. Democrats, as you start calling us all irredeemable racists -- a strategy that no longer works to coerce us to do what you want -- look in the mirror. It's you. Not Trump. Not us. Until you realize that, there is going to be a whole lot more losing. Here's why: Democrats view anyone who disagrees with them as garbage. They feign outrage about jokes and staged campaign events, but we no longer buy their faux outrage. We like jokes, and stunts, and rambling with authenticity (even when it goes on a little too long). They venerate experts, who are wrong again and again. We want to be left alone by the so-called experts. When it was obvious COVID-19 lockdowns and school closures were terrible policy (led by Democrats' experts), what did they do? They carried on: masking two-year-olds, keeping schools closed for a year and a half, and demonizing anyone who wondered about the lab leak or learning loss. They blacklisted anyone who challenged them and encouraged our neighbors to report on us for "violations."
Leftwing hag Maureen Dowd admits woke = broke, after supporting woke cancellations for a decade.
Justine Bateman is over cancel culture. The filmmaker and actress, 58, said the quiet part out loud over a Zoom call Tuesday afternoon, about a week after former President Donald Trump won the U.S. presidential election against Vice President Kamala Harris. Pundits upon pundits are offering all kinds of reasons for his political comeback. Bateman, unlike many of her Hollywood peers, agrees with the ones citing Americans' exhaustion over political correctness. "Trying to shut down everybody, even wanting to discuss things that are going on in our society, has had a bad result," she says. "And we saw in the election results that more people than not are done with it. That's why I say it's over." Anyone who follows Bateman on social media already knows what she's thinking -- or at least the bite-size version of it. Bateman wrote a Twitter thread last week following the election that began: "Decompressing from walking on eggshells for the past four years." She "found the last four years to be an almost intolerable period. A very un-American period in that any questioning, any opinions, any likes or dislikes were held up to a very limited list of 'permitted positions' in order to assess acceptability." Many agreed with her. Replies read: "Same. Feels like a long war just ended and I'm finally home." "It is truly refreshing. I feel freer already, and optimistic about my child's future for the first time." "Your courage and chutzpah is a rare commodity in Hollywood. Bravo." Now, she says, she feels like we're "going through the doorway into a new era" and she's "100% excited about it." In her eyes, "everybody has the right to freely live their lives the way they want, so long as they don't infringe upon somebody else's ability to live their life as freely as they want. And if you just hold that, then you've got it." The trouble is that people on both sides of the political aisle hold different definitions of infringement.
Justine Bateman is over cancel culture. Here's why. Bateman referenced COVID as an era where if you had a "wrong" opinion of some kind, society ostracized you. "All of that was met with an intense amount of hostility, so intense that people were losing their jobs, their friends, their social status, their privacy," she says. "They were being doxxed. And I found that incredibly un-American." Elon Musk buying Twitter in April 2022 served, in her mind, as a turning point. "The air kind of went out of the Woke Party balloon," she says, "and I was like, 'OK, that's a nice feeling.' And then now with Trump winning, and this particular team that he's got around him right now, I really felt the air go out. Now, she says, she feels like we're "going through the doorway into a new era" and she's "100% excited about it." ... She also hopes "that we can all feel like we're Americans and not fans of rival football teams." Some may feel that diminishes their concerns regarding reproductive rights, marriage equality, tariffs, what have you. But to Bateman, she's just glad the era of "emotional terrorism" has ended. Time will tell if she's right.
Some Democrats are finally waking up and realizing that woke is broke. Donald Trump won a majority of white women and remarkable numbers of Black and Latino voters and young men. Democratic insiders thought people would vote for Kamala Harris, even if they didn't like her, to get rid of Trump. But more people ended up voting for Trump, even though many didn't like him, because they liked the Democratic Party less. ... Democratic candidates have often been avatars of elitism -- Michael Dukakis, Al Gore, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and second-term Barack Obama. The party embraced a worldview of hyper-political correctness, condescension and cancellation, and it supported diversity statements for job applicants and faculty lounge terminology like "Latinx" and "BIPOC" (Black, Indigenous, people of color). This alienated half the country, or more. And the chaos and antisemitism at many college campuses certainly didn't help.
"When the woke police come at you," Rahm Emanuel told me, "you don't even get your Miranda rights read to you." There were a lot of Democrats "barking," people who "don't represent anybody," he said, and "the leadership of the party was intimidated." ... Democrats learned the hard way in this election that mothers care both about abortion rights and having their daughters compete fairly and safely on the playing field.
Mark Judge objects to Maureen Dowd pretending that wokeness is what other people do. She supported the woke attacks on Kavanaugh and Judge based on no evidence by a mentally-shaky liar's WITHOUT EVIDENCE claims. Even nasty leftist Matthew Yglesias says it's time to turn the page from woke:

She explained her vote to violate the law by saying, and I quote, "people violate the laws any time they want."

Bucks County commissioners voted to count ballots lacking proper signatures, violating a Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling earlier this year. The three-member board voted two to one to count these illegal ballots in the Senate race recount. "I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn't matter anymore in this country, and people violate laws anytime they want," Diane Marseglia said. "So for me, if I violate this law, it's because I want a court to pay attention to it."The Democrat Bob Casey, aided and abetted by Hillary Clinton's FusionGPS-cutout Mark Elias, is nakedly attempting to steal the Pennsylvania Senate race and they're not bothering to hide it.
Democrats in Pennsylvania are trying to steal a Senate seat. That isn't hyperbole or an unreasonable accusation. They are practically admitting it. Watch:

Smith analyzes Obama's election night message, noting that Obama has once again established the predicate for an unconstitutional attack by the bureaucracy on the elected president. Obama claim that the forces of democracy lost "all around the world" to the forces of authoritarianism, therefore obligating the Deep State to fight Trump. Just like the did for the past nine years.
[T]he story of Trump's rise and fall and redemption isn't over yet. If he doesn't drive Barack Obama out of Washington, D.C., and dismantle his private- and public-sector network, Trump can still ultimately lose. His first term was undermined by Obama allies in U.S. law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and there's evidence that the heart of the resistance is now ensconced inside the Pentagon and already poised to fight him. This threatens not only the Trump presidency but also the stability of the country. After fulfilling campaign promises to close the borders, embark on a massive deportation program sending millions of illegal aliens home, and appoint an attorney general capable of restoring the rule of law, the president-elect's top priority must be to bring an end to the Obama era. ...
Obama never hid his role as the real center of power during Joe Biden's term. When he retired the old man to make way for the candidate he's preferred since at least 2019, Obama simply grabbed the mic and took center stage. The "Kamala Harris" campaign--whose "New Way Forward" slogan he premiered--was, in reality, just another Barack Obama campaign...
A "tabletop exercise" wargaming the Deep State's insurrection against Trump. Very much like the tabletop exercise the FBI put the media through in 2020, gaming out a scenario in which Russia leaks, get this, a faked/altered version of Hunter Biden's laptop. Pre-programming the media to treat the real laptop as a Russian fake, while all along, the FBI already knew the laptop was real.
No doubt this document was read, ed, and revised dozens of times by a team of Obama loyalists to ensure that every word served a purpose. "Around the world" is intended to underscore the small "d" in democratic--Obama is not talking about an American political party but rather a political system. Trump didn't beat Democrats, he thwarted democracy by defeating its defenders. In contrast to Harris, Trump is more like a right-wing fascist, or an authoritarian strongman, like Vladimir Putin, for instance. Thus, in the context of democracy, Trump's presidency is not legitimate. And that calls for resistance. Immediately after Hillary Clinton's 2016 defeat, Obama set in motion the multi-pronged operation to undermine his successor. Obama told his FBI Director James Comey to continue the investigation, and surveillance, of the president-elect that was initiated while Trump was the GOP candidate. Further, the outgoing president directed CIA chief John Brennan to produce an official assessment asserting that Trump owed the presidency to Putin. By using the U.S. government's official imprimatur to validate the conspiracy theory that Trump had been compromised by a foreign power, Obama delegitimized Trump's presidency at its birth and divided the country. Now Obama is looking for another play, and it appears that it involves splitting the armed forces. Last week, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin directed Pentagon personnel to carry out a smooth transition and reminded them "to carry out the policy choices of its next Commander in Chief, and to obey all lawful orders from its civilian chain of command." It's not the first time an outgoing Pentagon chief counseled his subordinates to abide by their oaths to the Constitution--what's of potential concern is that the phrase "lawful orders" appears to contain a warning that some military officials' decisions regarding lawful orders may be shaped by anti-Trump animus. What orders is Austin referring to? First, Trump has indicated he might use the military to assist in carrying out his incoming administration's operation to deport illegal immigrants. Further, the Trump White House is planning to shrink the size of the bureaucracy, which also includes Pentagon officials. The resistance has already picked up on the cues left in Austin's message. For instance, in a report on Pentagon officials discussing how to respond in the event Trump issued unlawful orders, CNN correspondent Natasha Bertrand emphasized the threat implicit in Austin's wording and wrote that "the US military will obey only lawful orders." Bertrand famously drove the Trump-Russia narrative with leaks from intelligence officials, and in October 2020, she was first to report on the letter authored by 51 former spies falsely claiming that Hunter Biden's laptop was "Russian disinformation." That is, the CNN reporter is a delivery mechanism for anti-Trump information operations, and this particular op has been in the works for nearly a year. In January, NBC News reported that former Obama officials and Democratic Party operatives were already plotting to derail Trump's agenda under the pretext that he was aiming to use U.S. military to implement his political agenda...
The scenarios were made public on July 30 in an obvious media rollout, with stories in The Bulwark, where Brooks herself sketched the scenarios; The Washington Post, in a piece authored by Gellman; as well as The New Republic and The Guardian, the last of which gave the most detail on the various war games. One scenario posits the possibility "that Trump might invoke the Insurrection Act to go against street protests." In other words, riots designed to block Trump policies would be as bad or worse than the spring and summer 2020 George Floyd riots when Trump reportedly entertained the possibility of invoking the Insurrection Act. Those social justice demonstrations left 19 dead and caused billions of dollars worth of damage in dozens of cities across the country. "In the course of the Insurrection Act tabletop exercise," according to the Guardian report, "the person role-playing Trump initially met resistance from senior military figures who tried to cling to the Posse Comitatus Act barring federal troops from engaging in civilian law enforcement." The account relayed that as the scenario unfolded, Trump fired the officers who disobeyed his orders and replaced them with officers who implemented them.

While all the usual suspects, including NeverTrump faux-conservatives, have been distracted and losing their minds over President-elect Trump’s appointments this past week, Trump and his team have simultaneously been laying the groundwork to dismantle Biden’s climate apparatus.
As we savor these headlines below, just remember that the “principled conservatives” at outlets such as National Review and The Dispatch fervently fought to keep Trump out of the White House and keep Kamala/Obama/Biden in power, which would have had the effect of making permanent the agenda of climate communism. Had Conservative, Inc. had its way, there would be no off ramp from the government mandated “EV transition,” and the United States would still be professing obedience to the ParisPresident-elect Donald Trump's transition team is planning to kill the $7,500 consumer tax credit for electric-vehicle purchases as part of broader tax-reform legislation, two sources with direct knowledge of the matter told Reuters.Except for Tesla, the business plan for all the companies manufacturing electric vehicles in the United States has been government mandating that customers buy EVs, and then the government also providing huge incentives to customers and manufacturers to make the sale of the unwanted EVs feasible. But what about Tesla? Elon Musk has been enjoying the subsidies, but his company doesn’t need them to profitably sell Teslas. Killing off the $7,500 tax credit will deal a death blow to the electric products from his competitors such as Ford, General Motors, VW, and Rivian.
Ending the tax credit could have grave implications for an already stalling U.S. EV transition. And yet representatives of Tesla - by far the nation's largest EV seller - have told a Trump-transition committee they support ending the subsidy, said the two sources, who spoke on condition of anonymity. Elon Musk, one of Trump's biggest backers and the world's richest person, said earlier this year that killing the subsidy might slightly hurt Tesla sales but would devastate its U.S. EV competitors, which include legacy automakers such as General Motors.Ford and GM may just have to give up on the EV fairy-tale and go back to profitably manufacturing gasoline-powered cars for that huge mass market, while Tesla profitably corners the EV niche. If this weren’t enough good news, Donald Trump is also planning to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, which forces countries to accept a de-civilizational, de-carbonization agenda. Actually, Trump will be having the US re-withdraw, because after he withdrew from the climate agreement in his first term, Joe Biden re-subjugated the US to the global climate communists when he took office in 2021. “Trump planning to withdraw from Paris climate agreement: Leaving the treaty is one of the first signs of how the president-elect plans to undo the legacy of Joe Biden” [The Telegraph – 11/09/2024]
Donald Trump is preparing to withdraw from the Paris climate agreement when he returns to office in January. The president-elect’s team has already prepared an executive order that would see the US leave the international treaty, which commits countries to cutting their greenhouse gas emissions.Despite the headline, this is not actually a treaty, at least not for the United States. Because Obama is an anti-constitutionalist, and because the Senate is a body full of cowards who dislike going on the record with a vote, Obama committed to the climate accords by executive order, without even requesting Senate ratification of the “treaty.” The good news is that Trump can undo Obama’s surrender of sovereignty with a stroke of the pen too. Trump’s actions in eliminating the EV tax credit and withdrawing from the climate accords are hard-core, conservative governance the likes of which we would never see from a Jeb, or a Mitt, or a Nikki, or any of the other dream candidates whom the “principled conservatives” swoon over. I don’t need to ever hear another word about Trump not being a conservative from those who would allow climate communism to destroy our freedom and undermine our prosperity. Thank you, Donald Trump, for proceeding as promised to end the climate and EV ordeal. [buck.throckmorton at protonmail dot com]

The Comforts of Industry

The Miseries of Idleness
George Morland
From the National Gallery of Scotland
This moralising genre scene is typical of Morland's work of the 1780s. His aim of highlighting the moral shortcomings of domestic life shows the influence of William Hogarth (1697-1764). A notoriously heavy drinker and debtor, Morland spent the final years of his life enduring intermittent bouts in prison and eventually died from alcoholism aged 41. Morland's flamboyant lifestyle became the subject of four anecdotal biographies immediately after his death.

The Ohio Senate passes a law requiring people to use the public restrooms that agree with their actual sex. The law awaits the signature from RINO pussy governor Mike DeWine, who will presumably refuse to sign it.
Ohio's state senate passed SB 104, legislation designed to limit bathroom and locker room access to individuals based on biological sex in public schools and colleges. The bill, passed in the Republican-majority Senate, will now head to Republican Governor Mike DeWine for his signature or veto. SB 104 mandates that bathrooms, locker rooms, and overnight facilities within schools be designated for "the exclusive use" of males or females, as determined by gender at birth. This restriction applies not only to the physical school properties but also to any facilities used during school-sponsored events, effectively eliminating gender-neutral bathroom accommodations in Ohio's public education institutions. Republican State Senator Jerry Cirino, a chief supporter of the bill, argues the legislation was crafted to address safety concerns. "This is about safety and security," Cirino said, framing the measure as a protective policy for students.Remember the person caught on video laying "pipe bombs" near the DNC and RNC the eve of January 6th? The FBI says it could never track this person, caught on video, because the communications companies gave them "corrupted data" making identification of this likely fed plant impossible. The communication companies say all the data we gave the FBI was good and not corrupted at all.
Don't lie, Christopher. Because we'll lock you in jail for a year before your perjury trial. Like you did to the J6ers and abortion protesters.
In a revelation that has intensified scrutiny on the FBI's investigation of the Jan. 6 pipe bomb suspect, major cell phone carriers have told Congress they possess intact location data from the time and area where two explosive devices were planted near the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Republican National Committee (RNC) headquarters. The information disputes the FBI's testimony that corrupted data prevented identifying the individual responsible. Rep. Barry Loudermilk, chair of the House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight, informed *Just the News* that every major cellular carrier responded to inquiries, asserting that they delivered complete and uncorrupted data to the FBI following the events of January 6, 2021. "Every major cell carrier confirmed they were never notified that the FBI had any issues accessing the data," Loudermilk explained, adding that the contradictory claims "raise serious questions about the status of the investigation into the pipe bomber and about why the case remains unsolved nearly four years later." According to FBI Assistant Director Steve D'Antuono's 2023 congressional testimony, data obtained from one provider was corrupted, an "unusual circumstance" that allegedly obstructed the FBI's ability to fully analyze phone activity in the vicinity. However, the carriers now deny any issues with data integrity, leaving lawmakers questioning the FBI's explanation. Additionally, security footage released by Loudermilk's committee shows the unidentified suspect holding a device near the DNC headquarters and placing an object under a park bench shortly before the Jan. 6 events unfolded. The footage further challenges the claim that cell data was insufficient for identification purposes. A letter from Loudermilk to FBI Director Christopher Wray demands clarification on whether the agency informed any carriers of alleged data issues or requested new data.
LOL, Indian Tracy Flick makes me laugh by claiming she sought no position in Trump's Administration despite being a Hillary-like woman possessed by the hallucination that she must be elected president some day.
Former US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley has claimed that she slapped down an overture from one of President-elect Donald Trump's allies who suggested he could help her land a role in the new administration. Haley, 52, recounted meeting with Steve Witkoff, Trump's longtime friend and fellow real estate mogul, who expressed eagerness to patch things up between the two former rivals for the 2024 Republican nomination. "I had no interest in being in [Trump's] Cabinet," Haley said Wednesday on her weekly SiriusXM show, "Nikki Haley Live". "He knew that but to go a little further, his best friend, Steve Witkoff, came to our house in South Carolina, spoke to me and my husband, and basically wanted a truce between me and Donald Trump. "I told him at the time there was no truce needed, that Trump had my support. There was no issues on my end. At that point, he was like, 'What do you want? Tell me what you want. Is there anything you want?' I said, 'There's nothing I want.'"Sure, Jan. They made the right call. She is an idiot with no internal life. She would have melted down after spitting out her talking points for a half an hour. She would have short-circuited like those androids on Star Trek when Kirk said, "Everything I say is a lie. Am I lying now?"
But the Kamala team can't admit that. They just keep spamming out new excuses.
A new report claims that young, progressive staffers within Kamala Harris's campaign influenced the vice president's decision to decline an appearance on Joe Rogan's podcast, an opportunity her opponent, Donald Trump, seized to appeal to millions of Rogan's listeners. The Financial Times reports that a faction of Harris's staff worried about potential backlash from the vice president's progressive base, who may view Rogan's platform as a mismatch with their values. The episode highlighted the divide within Harris's campaign, raising questions about whether the vice president's messaging is becoming captive to what some critics call "woke" influences. According to Jennifer Palmieri, a senior adviser to Harris's husband Doug Emhoff, concerns arose internally about how the optics of a Rogan appearance might alienate progressive supporters.
... Critics have pointed out that declining the interview could reflect a broader trend of institutions increasingly dominated by progressive ideology, often foregoing engagement with audiences perceived as non-aligned with "woke" culture. As campaigns continue to navigate a polarized media environment, Harris's decision may serve as a cautionary tale about the costs of yielding to internal divisions at the expense of broader outreach.
Her other dumb bunny advisors say it was instead a scheduling conflict:
Jennifer Palmieri
@jmpalmieri I messed this up...important background should have included here. As campaign said in real time, VP didn't appear on Rogan because of schedule (hard to get to TX twice in a 107 day campaign). Regardless of any blowback, the campaign had made decision to pursue the interview and the Vice President was prepared to do it.
Stephanie CutterJohn Ekdahl calls this Hillary Clinton 2.0, referring to Hillary's refusal to visit Wisconsin in 2016. But I don't think Kamala had anything to win on Rogan. Rogan revealed that even while they were negotiating, Kamala's team laid down a list of topics he wasn't allowed to talk about -- including her support for legalization of marijuana. Not only is that a contentious issue that further underlines her identity as a woke warrior, Kamala didn't want to be asked about jailing thousands of people for simple marijuana position, especially given her later admission - -really a brag to connect with younger voters -- that she smokes pot her self.
@stefcutter This is 100% accurate. Decision was made to do Joe Rogan, if we could work the schedule out. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it work the one time we were in TX, and as JP says below, hard to get to TX twice in a 107 day campaign -- means a whole day outside of BG states.

The pure narcissism. Meanwhile, the "star" of Disney's upcoming doomed Snow White disaster decided to wish that everyone who voted for Trump, around half of the adult public, "never know peace" again for the rest of their lives.
ABC News brass are in "panic mode" as they hunt for conservative voices to balance the rabid anti-Trump rhetoric spewed by the hosts on "The View," as well as those on other shows, The Post has learned. The Disney-owned network -- which came under fire over how ABC News moderators grilled Donald Trump during the presidential debate against Vice President Kamala Harris -- has been holding high-level meetings since last week's rout by the former president, sources close to the situation told The Post. ABC News Group President Debra OConnell and her recently elevated boss of ABC News Almin Karamehmedovic held the intense sit-downs with executive producers of the network's various shows and other senior editorial leaders, sources said. First on the agenda, according to one insider, is finding a pro-Trump panelist for its top-ranked daytime talk show, co-hosted by ultra-liberals Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines, as well as Republican Trump-bashers Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin. "The View is facing pressure from higher-ups," the source said. "Viewers can expect some major changes including bringing in new panelists that can bring in a pro-Trump perspective." The source did not signal whether one of the current panelists would be bounced or if the already crowded desk would add a seventh seat. "Everyone on 'The View' endorsed Kamala Harris. They lost. They are out of touch with America," the source said. "For a show about different perspectives, 'The View' doesn't seem to have any when it comes to Trump. ABC bosses don't want to alienate the pro-Trump demographic." ...
"The question is what will happen to the Whoopis and the Joys if they bring on a Trumpster?" the source said. Goldberg -- the show's longest-running permanent co-host, joining the program in 2007 -- said a day after the election that her policy against uttering Trump's name isn't changing. "He's now the president," she said. "I'm still not going to say his name. That's not going to change."
Rachel Zegler is unhinged and a liability," a critic claimed. "They should permanently shelve Snow White and distance themselves from her. Her involvement with the company alienates millions of people and poisons the brand overall." Following Trump's win last week, Zegler shared a series of messages with her 2.3 million Instagram followers. "I find myself speechless in the midst of this. another four years of hatred, leaning us towards a world i do not want to live in," she wrote in a now-deleted Instagram Story. "I shouldn't be this shocked. but i am. i am heartbroken for my friends who awoke [in] fear this morning. and i am here with you. to cry, to yell, to hug. to wax poetic on how the left continues to fail us in forging a new path forward. this loss should not have been. and it certainly should not have been by so many votes. That's a call for harassment and possible violence against Trump supporters.
"May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace," Zegler stated.
"Another four years of hatred, leaning us towards a world I do not want to live in. Leaning us towards a world that will be hard to raise my daughter in." In a follow-up post, the actress added there is a "deep, deep sickness" in the United States due to how many people voted for a "man who threatens our democracy." Describing Kamala Harris' loss as "one that should not have been... and it certainly should not have been by so many votes," Zegler took a moment to touch on Trump's campaign. She continued, "It is terrifying the number of people who stand behind what this man preaches. it is a foolish subscription to a false sense of security, of masculinity, of intelligence, of patriotism, and of humanity. there is no help, no counsel, in any of them. i could go on. i won't. i feel sad. you probably do, too. f--k this." Also, taking a shot at billionaire Elon Musk, who became one of Trump's most outspoken allies and has nabbed a spot on the president-elect's team, she noted, "Get off of Elon's app." "I don't use that app for a reason. He helped get that man elected and you're giving him business," explained the Disney star. And Kamala Harris's literal best friend (assuming she has actual friends) is Dana Walden. Walden is head of Disney's TV operations (I think), and as such, is the officer in charge of ABC "News." Supposedly there are "firewalls" insulating ABC "News" from Walden, but the ABC "News" staff didn't need a direct order to protect Kamala and attack Trump all through the Fake Debate they put on. She is also ABC's biggest champion of racially-discriminatory DEI and anti-white bias: The Hollywood Reporter:
Lord of the Rings fans thank you for your service, Jennifer. From the Google AI summary:
Dana Walden Says ABC Passed on Pilots for Not Being Inclusive Enough During a panel that included Amazon Studios chief Jennifer Salke, Walden revealed that "for the first time," the network received "some incredibly well-written scripts that did not satisfy our standards in terms of inclusion." Last fall, ABC unveiled a set of inclusion standards as a path toward more diverse representation both onscreen and behind the scenes on network shows. For onscreen representation, the guidelines called for 50 percent or more of regular and recurring characters to come from underrepresented groups and the same percentage for the actors who play those parts. Walt Disney Television chairman of entertainment Dana Walden referenced the standards April 9 during a panel discussion put on by Chapman University and Glamour, and she revealed that the latest crop of pilots received by the network failed to make the grade. "I will tell you for the first time we received some incredibly well-written scripts that did not satisfy our standards in terms of inclusion, and we passed on them," Walden explained to moderator Janice Min, now a contributing editor at Time and formerly co-president of The Hollywood Reporter. Walden cited an example of receiving a script centered on a white family with the assumption that the diversity would come with the neighbors. "Pass," she said. "That's not going to get on the air anymore because that's not what our audience wants. That's not a reflection of our audience, and I feel good about the direction we're moving." Walden said they're about to announce at the top of next month a new BIPOC programming initiative at Hulu that's going to be run by Tara Duncan, the current president of Freeform. "It is programming that is by BIPOC storytellers, for BIPOC audiences, curated by executives of color, high-level leaders inside of our organization.
Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke also sat on the panel and teased a forthcoming announcement, calling it a "big inclusion policy," and one that would've seemed too far out of reach even a few years ago. "We have to step out there aggressively and make it happen," she said. "I see huge changes." One major shift is happening during greenlight conversations when the question inevitably comes up, "Does this move forward our goals about amplifying under-served voices?"
However, she greenlit one mostly-white show: The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu. White leftist women are very big on DEI, except where DEI would say that white leftist women must give up their jobs to more-oppressed minorities. She had been assumed to the front-runner to take over Disney once Bob Iger steps down. Iger is a terminally-out-of-touch leftwing demagogue, much like Joe Biden, so I assume he'll never actually step down. But Walden supposedly was expected to be his successor. That now seems less likely, WDW_Pro and his panelists say. Now that Walden's best friend is a defeated presidential candidate who has no further political future, what would Walden actually bring to the table besides insatiable wokeness and illegal discrimination through DEI?

Many FDA employees are already preparing to QUIT due to President Trump's partnership with RFK Jr. FDA Commissioner Robert Califf hinted that a "mass exodus" could follow. Additionally, some are concerned that Trump & RFK Jr's revolving policy will stop them from working for big pharma & food corporations. The Swamp is draining itself.

Tom Homan, tapped as "border czar" for President-elect Donald Trump's administration, revealed on Monday plans to revive workplace raids, a strategy aimed at curbing illegal immigration by targeting employers hiring undocumented workers. Speaking on "Fox & Friends," Homan argued the raids would address labor and sex trafficking in work environments. He claimed that these sites are often where authorities find victims of forced labor and sex trafficking, suggesting the raids would protect those individuals while enforcing immigration laws. ... Homan, who previously backed the controversial "zero tolerance" policy that separated thousands of children from their families, says his new role will involve targeting immigrants deemed public safety or national security threats. Yet he also clarified that those with final deportation orders would face high priority for removal, even if they lack a criminal record, viewing their continued presence as a violation of U.S. immigration law.
As you probably know, the left is melting down over his nomination, given his advocacy for "zero tolerance" on illegal migration:

First, he dropped a video declaration of his intent to leave. He's very exercised that the new X terms of service call for any lawsuits involving X to be brought in a local court in Texas (X moved there). This is a standard thing companies do but which the highly-informed Don LeMon thinks is an innovation that Elon Musk just came up with. He was also upset that X is no longer the place for honest debates, which is the left's way of saying they're upset that it does allow for honest debates. They want rigged debates, where dissenters are either banned outright or forbidden to make their arguments.

The Globalized Cultural Enrichment Tour is coming to a town near you.
Nearly a week after an anti-Jewish pogrom in the Dutch city of Amsterdam, pro-Hamas protesters are rioting in the French capital, Paris, ahead of Thursday's soccer match between France and Israel. Demonstrators on Wednesday night went on a rampage in Paris over a pro-Israel event in the city. "Protests erupted in Paris on Wednesday against a gala ... in support of Israel," The Times of Israel reported. "The demonstrations came on the eve of a high-stakes soccer match at France's national stadium against the Israeli national team."

Harris’s commanding lead in a hypothetical 2026 California gubernatorial race is likely partly due to her near-universal name recognition and elevated voter interest following the 2024 presidential race. “Nearly all voters in this state have an opinion of her, and that’s really the big advantage that she brings to an early poll,” said Mark DiCamillo, director of UC Berkeley’s IGS Poll. “None of the other candidates are as well known to the voting public.”
Is it possible that the absolutely spectacular failure of a presidential campaign that was fabulously wealthy, supported by the entire media and most of corporate America went unnoticed by California's voters? Was the surf particularly good this summer and fall? Maybe the Humboldt Gold crop was just fantastic? Or...fuel and power is so expensive that the Golden State (hah!) saved money by not watching TV? It is difficult to understand that Chlamydia Harris is seen even by the amiable retards of California as a viable candidate for anything, much less governor. And of course the reality is that there are no other candidates because California's current idiot, Gavin Newsome, is term limited, and no lunatics have thrown their propeller beanies into the ring. So Harris is it...for now. Obviously it is early, and it would be truly shocking if her abject failure as a vice president and then presidential candidate went unnoticed, even by California's LIVs. But there is a sort of delicious symmetry if she went from one failure to another. I guess it is possible that she could attract enough money to conduct a viable campaign. After all, there are plenty of stupid billionaires. But who would work on that campaign? Supposedly she stiffed her presidential campaign workers of their last paychecks, and the rumor mill is filled with stories of exactly how poorly planned and out of touch she and her campaign were. My guess is that she will ride off into the sunset with some board memberships, maybe a no-show job at a major university, and after a cooling off period (it's called detox by most of us) onto the lecture circuit for some easy cash. Come on California! Show us what you are made of...HARRIS 2026!

- The FBI raided the home of the CEO of betting platform Polymarket - which predicted the re-election of President Trump for some not very useful value of "predicted" - and seized his phone and other electronic devices because they felt like it. (New York Post)
No charges have been brought, nobody has been arrested, the FBI and DOJ haven't even hinted at an investigation.
They just did it.
