CNN's Harry Enten: Republicans Have Big Leads on the Democrats On the Top Three Issues Going Into the Midterms

[Excitable CNN Poll Dweeb Harry Enten] explained that polls showing Trump underwater don't mean diddly squat because Democrats are still losing badly on the issues that matter most to voters. "At this particular point, the Democrats are the New Orleans Saints of political parties," Enten quipped. "What are we talking about? Trust the Dems or GOP more on the economy. Who leads on the economy? Republicans by seven. Immigration? Republicans by 13. How about crime? A big issue for Donald Trump and the Republicans. Look at that: Lead by 22 points."

That's not a statistical blip--it's a crushing advantage on all the top issues heading into the 2026 midterms. Enten warned Democrats not to assume Trump's poll numbers would save them from their own failures. "At this particular point, it's the Republicans who are running with the ball on the top issues, the economy, immigration, and crime," he said.

Bolduan then pressed Enten to compare today's numbers with the last time Republicans took control of the House. Enten's answer was devastating. "The GOP is more trusted than the Dems on the economy. It was 12 points in 2022," he explained. "Slight, slight decline in that lead, but still seven points. How about immigration? It was Republicans by three back in 2022. Look at this: the Republican lead's actually gone up by 10 points!"

"What are you doing, Democrats? My goodness gracious!" Enten said. "And on crime, the Republicans were up by 13, and now they're up by 22."

And note this doesn't take into account the extra five seats the GOP will probably pick up in Texas, nor the five seats the GOP will probably pick up in Florida (if DeSantis pulls the trigger), nor the extra few seats they'll pick up in Missouri and Ohio.

Liberal political commentator Keith Olbermann deleted a social media post Monday in which he appeared to threaten conservative CNN analyst Scott Jennings.

"You're next motherf--ker," read Olbermann's deleted X post, according to a screenshot shared by Townhall columnist Dustin Grage

"But keep mugging to the camera," the former MSNBC and ESPN host added, in another deleted tweet, according to the grabs Jennings retweeted from Grage while tagging FBI Director Kash Patel.

Olbermann appears to have been responding to a tweet from Jennings reacting to ABC reinstating late-night host Jimmy Kimmel, after he was pulled off the air for offensive comments related to conservative activist Charlie Kirk's assassination.

That's not how it appears to me, NY Post liberal "journalist."

"Now we get the fascists off real tv. That'd mean your career is next, Jennings. Send a tape to Real America 's Voice," Olbermann posted in that thread, a possible clarification of what he meant.

"But keep mugging to camera, amateur," he added.

Olbermann faced criticism last week for his reaction to ABC affiliate Sinclair's decision to air a remembrance for Kirk over Kimmel's show, an announcement made before the comedian was suspended.

"Burn in hell, Sinclair," Olbermann wrote on X. "Alongside Charlie Kirk."

It just so happens that the Teachers Union Terrorist who shot up the ABC affiliate to "protest" ABC's decision to cancel Kimmel used those same words: You're next.

Strange how leftist propagandists keep using the same exact words as the leftist assassins they program to kill, huh?

I guess it's just a coincidence.

The left keeps threatening that if we don't do what they demand, they'll start doing in the future all the things they have done in the past.

Trump Brings the Thunder to the United Nations' Murderers' Row of Incompetents, Grifters, and Terrorists

Donald Trump's speech to the United Nations was one of the clearest expositions of the way he sees the world, his ideology in its rawest form.

To his supporters, it will be seen as Trumpism unplugged; to his critics, Trumpism unhinged.

Over almost an hour, he took aim at his opponents and their ideas, picking them off one by one as he toured the world. He began at home, praising the United States and himself. He said the US was living through a golden age and repeated his much-disputed claim that he had personally ended seven wars, something he argued merited a Nobel Peace Prize.

But then the president laid into his hosts. The UN, he said, had not helped his peace-making. He questioned the organisation's purpose, saying it had tremendous potential but was not living up to that. All it did, he claimed, was write strongly worded letters that it did not follow up. Empty words, he said, did not end wars.

He also attacked the UN for the aid it gave to asylum seekers hoping to enter the US, saying "The UN is supposed to stop invasions, not create them and not finance them." The president even attacked the UN for a broken escalator and teleprompter that disrupted his visit and speech.

On one level, he has a point. Many analysts question the effectiveness of the UN in resolving conflict these days, pointing in particular to gridlock in the Security Council and the body's unresponsive bureaucracy.

But on another level Trump can be seen himself a cause and symptom of the UN's lack of effectiveness; for he believes global crises are best resolved by powerful men like him getting together and hammering out a deal, not using multilateral bodies like the UN to work out collective solutions. Under Trump, the US has withdrawn much of its UN funding, leaving the body forced to cut its humanitarian work around the world.

Trump saved perhaps his biggest criticism for his European allies, attacking the continent for investing in renewable energy, and opening its borders to migration.

"Europe is in serious trouble. They have been invaded by a force of illegal aliens like nobody has ever seen before... Both the immigration and suicidal energy ideas will be the death of Western Europe," he said.

Climate change, he claimed to audible gasps, was "the greatest con job ever perpetrated on the world" and was lumbering European countries with expensive energy costs compared to fossil fuels. He criticised in particular the UK government for imposing new taxes on North Sea oil.

"If you don't get away from the green energy scam, your country is going to fail," he said.

"I love Europe. I love the people of Europe. And I hate to see it being devastated by energy and immigration. This double-tailed monster destroys everything in its wake... you want to be politically correct and you are destroying your heritage."

Note that last point. It echoes what the president said during his state visit to the UK last week when he spoke of the importance of defending the values of what he called "the English-speaking world".

There is a cultural edge to Mr Trump's criticism of Europe, a sense that he believes uncontrolled immigration is threatening what he sees as Europe's Judeo Christian heritage. Not for nothing is Trump the leader of an administration that wears its religion firmly on its sleeve. "Let us protect religious liberty," he told the UN, "including for the most persecuted religion on the planet today -- it's called Christianity."

Ryan Routh, the madman who holed up in a sniper's nest with an assault rifle at one of President Trump's golf courses, tried to stab himself with a pen in a Florida courtroom Tuesday after he was convicted of attempting to assassinate the then-GOP nominee.

A dramatic scene unfolded as jurors were leaving the courtroom when Routh took a pen and started trying to jab himself in the neck.

Courtroom marshals sprung to action and dragged him out of the room as his daughter, Sara Routh, screamed at her father. "Dad I love you. Don't do anything. I'll get you out. He didn't hurt anybody," the daughter yelled.

A few minutes later, Routh was brought back into the courtroom with shackles on. He wasn't wearing the jacket and tie from earlier and his white shirt didn't show signs of blood. The judge set his sentencing date for Dec. 18.

The jurors took about two hours to find Routh, 59, guilty of five federal charges of attempted assassination, assault on a federal officer and gun crimes following a two week trial in Fort Pierce, Fla. court.

He will face up to life in prison at his sentencing.

In happier news, he'll be Jimmy Kimmel's first guest tonight.

Sinclair Network: ABC May Be Airing Jimmy Kimmel's Anti-Comedy Show Again, But We're Not Going to Air It On Our Stations

If you remember, Sinclair planned to air a tribute to Charlie Kirk on Friday.

But then they cancelled that plan.

Why? Terroristic "violent threats" from the left.

Sinclair Broadcast Group scrapped its plans to air a tribute to Charlie Kirk after multiple violent threats were directed at local ABC affiliate stations, according to a report from the New York Post. Last week, Sinclair was set to air the special on its affiliate stations but abruptly announced it was pulled and would be available on a YouTube link.

The TV giant, which owns over 40 local ABC affiliate stations, was facing "local threats directed at specific local ABC stations resulting from [the] ABC suspension" of Jimmy Kimmel, a source told the outlet. The revelations come after a suspect also shot up a local ABC affiliate station in California last week.

At the time of pulling the on air special, Sinclair posted to X, "Tonight, Sinclair will continue to air ABC network programming as scheduled in the late-night time period. The Charlie Kirk special will instead be available on The National News Desk's YouTube channel, ensuring viewers can continue to enjoy ABC programming while also providing full access to the special online."

The man that was arrested last week for shooting three bullets into an ABC affiliate station in Sacramento, California, Anibal Hernandez-Santana, also had a timeline full of anti-Trump posts on his social media. The Post reports that after the shooting, there were increasing concerns about ABC affiliates getting targeted. Sinclair notified law enforcement as well as private security firms over the threats.

Note that the suspiciously suddenly "pro-speech" Marxist left continues worm-mouthing about Brenden Carr's threat to enforce the equal time rule while completely suppressing the fact that the hard left is shooting up ABC affiliate stations to terrorize them into airing Pudgy Propagandist Jimmy Kimmel, and also terrorizing them into not running a tribute to the man they just assassinated.

Well, this will be short and decidedly not sweet.

Perhaps the single best thing about President Donald Trump is his total and complete rejection of the deeply offensive concept that America is responsible for the security and economic success of the entire world. Post World War II American politicians drifted from the undeniable success of the Marshall Plan, which was intended to be a temporary assistance plan for Western Europe.

Of course it turned into a catastrophic, permanent, independence-sapping welfare scheme for Europe. They didn't have to look out for themselves militarily, courtesy of America's financing of NATO, so they squandered that economic boon by turning Western Europe into a massive welfare super-state.

And our politicians, not content to be Western Europe's sugar-daddy, expanded that attitude to every single country on earth! The complex web of funding every tinpot dictator and nascent "democracy" is buried deep in our massive government budgets, and that funding has morphed into a vile attitude that the people of the United States are for some reason on the hook for the success of the world.

There is a huge difference between supporting our strategic allies, and funding the economic growth of the world. And Donald Trump understands that.

At least for the time being.

FBI Director Kash Patel said on Monday that the suspect who allegedly opened fire on ABC10’s television station in the wake of Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension is back in custody. Federal authorities arrested 64-year-old Anibal Hernandez Santana for allegedly violating statute 47 USC 333, which criminalizes interference with licensed broadcasts, Patel announced on X. Santana had been initially released from custody on a $200,000 bond on Saturday after allegedly firing three bullets into the window of the station’s lobby on Friday.

On a separate note, Ted Cruz continues to underwhelm.

The Chairman said, “The FCC could make a strong argument that this is sort of an intentional effort to mislead the American people about a very core fundamental fact, a very important matter.” Cruz said on his podcast, “And I’ve got to say, that’s right out of Goodfellas. That’s right out of a mafioso coming into a bar going, ‘Nice bar you have here, it’d be a shame if something happened to it.’” He then claimed that this would create a new precedent for the left to one day censor conservatives.

Newsflash for Ted, the media and Democrats in general have been persecuting and censoring anyone to the right of Nikita Khrushchev for years. Pfft.

Trump Orders the Collection of $100,000 for Every New H-1B Visa and the Corporate Oligarch Left Melts Down

Oh no, American companies might be forced to train and employ actual American citizens.

There are billion-dollar companies whose only service is applying for H-1B visas and then selling them to people looking for work. Many of these billion-dollar H-1B grifter companies are Indian. Currently, 71% of all H-1B applicants are Indian. 11.7% are Chinese.

Trump is driving up the cost to hire a foreigner over an American. Supposedly these visas are for jobs of high talent and skill for which there are few qualified American workers. In reality, these visas are bought just to do fairly low-level, routine jobs in tech so that they these greedy corporations can just save a buck while pretending not to be evil.

President Donald Trump raised the fee for an H-1B visa to $100,000 on Friday, leaving companies scrambling to respond.

As of Sunday, H-1B visa applications will require a $100,000 payment. Previously, visa fees ranged from $2,000 to $5,000 per application, depending on the size of the company.

The fee will only be applied to new H-1B applicants, not renewals or current visa holders. The fee will be implemented in the upcoming lottery cycle.

What did Trump change?

As of Sunday, H-1B visa applications will require a $100,000 payment. Previously, visa fees ranged from $2,000 to $5,000 per application, depending on the size of the company.

Employers now must have documentation of the payment prior to filing an H-1B petition on behalf of a worker. Applicants will have their petitions restricted for 12 months until the payment is made, according to the White House.

Exceptions can be made to any immigrant whose employment is deemed essential in the national interest by the Secretary of Homeland Security and does not pose a threat to the security or welfare of the U.S.

Employees with B visas who have start dates prior to October 2026 will also receive additional guidance in order to prevent using those temporary business visas as a workaround for H-1B visas.

Who are these workers and why are they needed?

H-1B visas allows highly skilled foreign professionals to work in specialty occupations that generally require at least a bachelor's degree to fulfill the role. Jobs in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math, or STEM, usually qualify.

Many employers use H-1B workers to fill the gaps in these highly technical roles that are not found within the American labor supply.

Bullshit. Companies like Disney force workers in fairly minor paper-pushing, number-crunching jobs to train their new Indian replacements, and then fire them. I'm not saying these jobs don't require training and skill. But I am saying that you can miss me with this "highly-skilled workers in specialized technical fields for which no Americans are trained" horseshit.

When Disney orders American workers to train their own imported, largely Indian replacements, obviously Americans exist to do those jobs. Disney just wants to pay people less money to do them.

Companies in the tech and finance sectors rely heavily on these specially-skilled immigrants, particularly from India and China, which accounted for 71% and 11.7% of visa holders last year, respectively.

How many H-1B visas does the tech industry use every year?

The current annual cap for H-1B visas is 65,000, along with an additional 20,000 visas for foreign professionals with a master's degree or doctorate from a U.S. institution. A lottery system is used to select additional petitions if demand exceeds the cap.

Since 2012, about 60% or more of approved H-1B workers had computer-related jobs, according to Pew Research.

Amazon was the top employer for H-1B holders in the fiscal year 2025, sponsoring over 10,000 applicants by the end of June, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. Microsoft and Meta had over 5,000 each, while Apple and Google rounded out the top six with over 4,000 approvals.

Trump Announces "Breakthrough" in Autism: Will Warn Women Not to Take Acetaminophen (Tylenol) During Pregnancy

Here's NPR to immediately dismiss the so-far unreleased study and declare that the link between Tylenol use during pregnancy is not "conclusively" proven yet.

The Trump administration is expected to assert later today that use of acetaminophen -- the active ingredient in Tylenol -- can increase the risk of autism when used during pregnancy, despite the fact that scientific research has not conclusively demonstrated a causal link.

He also said that there may be a cure for autism -- Vitamin B in a special form.

White House officials are also expected to suggest that a form of vitamin B that is typically used in conjunction with cancer treatment could be used to treat autism.

"We're gonna have one of the biggest announcements, really, medically, I think, in the history of our country," President Trump said Sunday night, referring to a press conference scheduled for Monday afternoon. "I think we found an answer to autism."

This would be the administration's latest move questioning the science of commonly used medications, from vaccines to abortion medications, and stirring up controversy in what many say is an effort to undermine the scientific establishment and advance a political agenda.

Oh no -- we might cure autism and reduce the number of new cases, but whatever we do, we mustn't undermine the scientific establishment that has been batting 0.174 for the past fifteen years.

(Remember the faked data claiming that Alzheimer's was caused by brain plaque? Which then caused us to spend ten years and billions in research on a medical dead-end?)

The NYTimes also claims that the science is "mixed" so we should just ignore it.

Federal health officials are expected to link rising rates of autism to the use of acetaminophen, the active ingredient in the common painkiller Tylenol, in a report to be released on Monday. Scientists have studied a potential connection for years, but the research so far has yielded inconclusive results.

"I think it's a very big factor," President Trump told reporters on Sunday, referring to acetaminophen.

The agency plans to warn pregnant women against using acetaminophen except in case of fever, The Washington Post reported on Sunday. "If there's a question -- even if there's a question -- you just do it right?" Mr. Trump said to reporters aboard Air Force One.

He is expected to make an official announcement from the White House at 4 p.m.

Acetaminophen is considered one of the few safe options to treat pain or fever during pregnancy. Doctors already routinely warn pregnant women against long-term use.

The NYTimes has never found a "scientific" or environmental panic it didn't immediately declare to be both true and frightening, so one wonders how much they're being paid to suddenly develop a sense of skepticism.

There's so much racial healing going on I can't keep up with it all.

Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett claimed on Sunday that it caused her anguish to see that only two white lawmakers voted against the resolution honoring Charlie Kirk on Friday.

Every Republican voted in favor of the resolution, but 58 Democrats voted against it, including Crockett and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who both cited their disagreement with his political views. Crockett asserted on CNN's "State of the Union" that Kirk "specifically targeted people of color" with his "rhetoric."

"One of the things I do want to point out that's not been laid out, that honestly hurts my heart, is when I saw the no votes, there were only two caucasians," Crockett said. "For the most part, the only people that voted no were people of color."

"Because the rhetoric that Charlie Kirk continuously put out there was rhetoric that specifically targeted people of color," she continued. "And so it is unfortunate that even our colleagues could not see how harmful his rhetoric was, specifically to us."

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and his leadership team voted in support of the measure, while 38 House Democrats voted "present" on the resolution and 22 did not vote.

"Such acts of politically motivated violence are antithetical to the principles of a free republic, in which differences of opinion are to be debated--not silenced--with civility, reason, and mutual respect," the resolution reads in part.

Ocasio-Cortez smeared Kirk during remarks on the House floor.

"We should be clear about who Charlie Kirk was. A man who believed that the Civil Rights Act that granted black Americans the right to vote was a mistake," she said. "Who after the violent attack on Paul Pelosi said, 'some amazing patriot' should bail out his brutal assailant and accused Jews of controlling 'not just the colleges, it's the nonprofits, it's the movies, it's Hollywood, it's all of it.'"

"His rhetoric and beliefs were ignorant, uneducated and sought to disenfranchise millions of Americans far from 'working tirelessly to promote unity' asserted by the majority in this resolution," she added.

Several liberals and left-leaning outlets have made false claims about Kirk and have misquoted him.

Bullet-Firing But Mostly Peaceful Protester Shouts "Free Palestine" and Murders One, Shoots Another In the Face

Note that this article omits to mention his cry of "Free Palestine!" as he murdered one and shot another victim in the face.

"We may never know the motive," they promised.

A man was charged with second-degree murder after a shooting Saturday night at a country club in Nashua in which one person was killed and several other people were injured, some while trying to flee the chaotic scene.

The Attorney General's Office said Hunter Nadeau, 23, of Nashua, allegedly shot and killed Robert DeCesare, 59, in an attack at the Sky Meadow Country Club in Nashua.

An autopsy on DeCesare is scheduled for Monday.

Nadeau, meanwhile, is scheduled to be arraigned at 1 p.m. Monday. Formella said additional charges are likely.

Investigators said Nadeau shot and wounded two other people, including one who worked at the restaurant and one who was a patron. Meanwhile, at least four other people suffered other non-gunshot injuries as they tried to flee.

Nashua Fire Rescue said on Sunday that two people who were wounded were taken by vehicle to the Spit Brook Road fire station, where aid was given to one person with a gunshot wound to the face and one person with a hand laceration. Both were taken to Southern New Hampshire Medical Center and the gunshot victim was flown to a Boston hospital, fire authorities said.

Attorney General John Formella said the victim flown to a Boston hospital is in in critical condition, but the victim is said to be stable.

The NYPost reports what WMUR censors -- the gunman screamed "Free Palestine!" as he committed murder.

He also shouted "the children are safe" which could be a reference to the trans extremists' claim that we must protect the children... from people who don't want to lop off healthy body parts.

The armed maniac, wearing a mask, stormed into the wedding, flipped off the guests and shouted "the children are safe" and "Free Palestine," witnesses told local media.

"Getting together for a dance for the bride and groom and then all chaos went off," Tom Bartelson, the uncle of the groom, said. "We heard about six shots and everybody ducked for cover and next thing you know we're rushed into safe spots and things like that."

Officials said it's not clear whether the attack was targeted or random, and they have not determined a motive.

"And we never will," Nashua prosecutors added.

Biden's Chief of Staff Jeff Zients: After the Debate, I Suggested Biden Take a Cognitive Test (which He Refused)

I wrote about this last week, based on National Review reporting by Audrey Fahlberg.

But this is new.

Former White House chief of staff Jeff Zients revealed to Congress Thursday that former President Joe Biden's memory and decision-making capability deteriorated while in office, according to a source familiar with the ex-aide's transcribed interview.

Zients, who declined to answer reporter questions, also told the House Oversight Committee that he told White House physician Kevin O'Connor that Biden should have "a full medical workup" -- including a cognitive exam -- after his disastrous June 27, 2024, debate performance, added the source.

In that forum, the Democrat stumbled over his words, spoke with a soft and raspy voice, and delivered non-sequiturs about public policy -- declaring at one point that his administration had "finally beat Medicare."

Biden's campaign and White House flacks dismissed the fumbles at the time, claiming the president had a "cold" -- though he was spotted within minutes of the debate's end at a Waffle House.

But Zients claimed the "mental freezes" aides observed were unprecedented, the source related.

"Unprecedented." We in the public saw them all the time, but Biden's chief of staff never, ever saw them before. He swears. Def don't indict him for perjury.

Ex-senior White House communications adviser Anita Dunn and former national security adviser Jake Sullivan apparently stressed the importance of a cognitive exam, while former Cabinet officials such as Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo and VA Secretary Denis McDonough -- as well as Secretary of State Antony Blinken -- didn't think Biden had the juice for a second term.

Several donors also expressed alarm, with one suggesting that the president's use of a teleprompter to address an intimate campaign fundraiser was concerning.

Over the course of a six-hour grilling by Oversight staff, Zients also revealed that Biden began having "difficulty remembering dates and names," while "decisions that once required three meetings eventually began to require a fourth," according to the first source.

Those age-related issues were also a subject of conversation in the West Wing throughout the former president's term, with first lady Jill Biden asking that her husband not be "over-scheduled" and be allowed to "return to the residence" earlier in the day, this person said.

This codger "worked" from the crack of 11am to Early Bird Special midnight, 4pm.

Damn those are the exact hours I try to keep.

[Biden's neurologist and dementia doctor] O'Connor, who purportedly considered giving Biden the cognitive test, and Jill Biden's chief of staff Anthony Bernal previously pleaded the Fifth Amendment and declined to answer questions from the Republican-led panel -- and Zients spoke with both of them about the president's "age issues," according to the first source.

This isn't in the story, but we've heard this before: Supposedly, when it was proposed that Biden take a cognitive test -- I mean, one they would disclose to the public; I'm 100% sue-me certain that they gave him ones before that he'd failed -- they decided against it because there was no political upside for Biden.

Well, there would have been a political upside if he passed it, because by then 60% of the public said publicly that he was mentally impaired and the other 40% lied.

So when they say there would be no "political upside," that's because they knew he'd already begun failing them in 2015.
