The Department of Homeland Security on Wednesday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a previously deported illegal immigrant from Mexico after he allegedly threw a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement amid rioting in Los Angeles on June 7.

LA has experienced days of unrest, with agitators setting fire to cars, throwing bricks and fireworks at police officers and vehicles, graffiting property, looting businesses, and smashing windows of the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) headquarters downtown in response to ICE raids in the city last week.

"Emiliano Garduno-Galvez is a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who threatened the lives of federal law enforcement officers by attacking them with a Molotov cocktail during the violent riots in Los Angeles. ICE arrested Garduno-Galvez, and he is now being charged with attempted murder. These are the types of criminal illegal aliens that rioters are fighting to protect," Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a Wednesday statement.

McLaughlin added: "The Los Angeles rioters will not stop us or slow us down. And if you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

DHS noted that Garduno-Galvez had previously been deported and has a prior criminal record, including a 2024 arrest for grand theft near the Anaheim Police Department and a DUI in Long Beach.

Over 160 anti-ICE protestors have been arrested in LA since Friday, according to local authorities, many for failure to disperse, and at least one - a Mexican national illegally in the U.S. - for attempted murder after throwing a Molotov cocktail at law enforcement.

There have been hundreds of illegal aliens arrested in LA since the protest broke out on June 6, a source familiar with operations told the Daily Mail.

Despite the stand offs with rioters, Newsom and Bass, the White House said deportation operations in LA are continuing.

'The Trump Administration will fulfill the President's promise to deport illegal aliens and no one -- not even violent left-wing rioters -- will get in the way of our mission,' White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told the Daily Mail.

The White House is now sending the message that regardless of what Newsom or the protestors think, ICE operations will continue.

'Radical liberal rioters, enabled by weak politicians like Gavin Newsom, are using violence to try and stop the American people's agenda from being implemented. It won't work,' Jackson told the Daily Mail.

'In November, the American people gave President Trump a mandate: deportations.'

And according to migrant arrest data exclusively provided to the Daily Mail, ICE's Los Angeles team is continuing to act on the president's orders.

The rap sheets of five criminal aliens arrested Tuesday in LA were shared exclusively with the Daily Mail.

It includes Hondurans Carlos Alberto Escobar-Flores, 43, whose criminal history includes a conviction for grand theft; and Jose Jimenez-Alvarado, who was convicted for felony theft, according to the White House.

Mexican national Jesus Romero-Retana, 52, a man convicted for battery and intent to terrorize, was also apprehended by ICE on Tuesday, the White House revealed.

So was Cambodian Mab Khleb, a 53-year-old citizen of Cambodia, with prior convictions for possession of controlled substances and lewd action with a child, officials said.

Sang Louangpasert, a 66-year-old Laotion man who was ordered to leave the U.S. in 2001, was also arrested by ICE.

He has previous convictions of lewd acts with a child under 14 and corporal injury on a spouse, the White House said.

I think that's telling. They believe they have a "right" to be "loved," and celebrated, and affirmed.

The White House declared Wednesday that "America is beating inflation," touting the latest Consumer Price Index as proof that President Trump's economic leadership is ushering in a "new Golden Age" of falling prices, rising wages, and broad prosperity.

The May CPI report showed overall inflation "lighter than expected" once again, according to the White House. Officials emphasized that since Trump took office, inflation has come in below economists' forecasts every month.

Core inflation--which strips out food and energy--held steady at the lowest level since March 2021. The White House noted that under Trump, core inflation has averaged just 2.0% annually, mirroring rates last seen during his first term.

The administration also highlighted wage growth, particularly for production and nonsupervisory workers. Real wages for those workers rose in May at the fastest pace in nearly a year, and have now increased every month since Trump returned to office.

Trump called for a cut in the Fed's interest rate, which would spur growth.

But the head of the Fed, Jerome Powell, is a partisan Democrat who is only interested in cutting interest rates and flooding the country with freshly printed currency if the president (or, "president") is a Democrat.

A Time Warp of Sorts

It's "Pride Month," though it is easy to miss it this year - at least, it's easy to miss it in some places. Some years ago, I fled the conquered territory I used to call home and moved elsewhere. Where I live now, you would be hard-pressed to find evidence that it's time for the annual celebration of child grooming and other perversions. In other places, though, it's very much business as usual on that front.

Being in the midst of an apparent preference cascade is a weird situation, and where you are plays a role in how it looks. Things are in fact changing. Many outfits who do business outside the blue enclaves or have to make terms with the United States government under its current executive are fairly suddenly pretending that they never remade their logos as rainbows and agitated for revolution. If you live in the widening sea of normality, it's increasingly easy to forget that any of this is even a thing at all this year.

Good morning kids. Well, just the same old revolution but a different decade. The institutional Left which has more or less always operated within and had the political cover of he Democrat Party, to give it a veneer of legitimacy. Their goal was, is and always will be the destruction of America and of Western civilization itself.

Since Vietnam and the civil rights movement, any excuse to riot and cause violence and unrest at home was used as the pretext, not to protest whatever the issue was, legitimate grievance or otherwise notwithstanding, but to sow division and use it as the means to destabilize society and if possible to cripple the institutions that hold the society together and then overthrow the government.

The salient point here is that regardless of our foreign enemies meddling in our internal affairs to cripple us, be it the Chi-Coms or current Russians/Soviets of old, globalist foreign oligarchs, MEXICO - which must now be considered a foreign adversary, global Islam terror organizations and of course Iran, The only way that what we are witnessing is happening is because we have an alarming number of people of all ages that are American citizens who have such a hate on for their own country thanks to decades of indoctrination and propaganda from he schools and media/entertainment complex that they are willing to engage in open violent rebellion.

Remember, that Bill Ayers, who fantasized about what we are witnessing right now thought that he and his comrades in the Weathermen would seize absolute power but then would have to still liquidate upwards of 25 million Americans who would never accept him and who would never be "re-educated."

May the National Guard and US Marines stack the bodies of these violent traitors like so much cordwood.

And may everyone who is funding and giving political cover to these terrorists have their assets seized and/or be hanged by the neck for treason. If what we are witnessing isn't treason, then I don't know what the hell is.

If Democrat leaders are rallying their base to view the protests as a defense of democratic values, it may potentially escalate into more widespread conflicts similar to those that occurred in 2020. The involvement of figures like Maxine Waters, who attempted to intervene on behalf of rioters, further suggests a political stake in the unrest, though her rebuff by law enforcement highlights the limits of such influence.
. . . The speculative possibility of a civil war hinges on intent. If the Democrat Party is orchestrating or amplifying the riots, their aim may be to destabilize Trump’s administration, leveraging the chaos to rally support for progressive causes like open borders. If the funding allegations are substantiated they may point to a strategic investment in unrest, using groups like CHIRLA which is linked to ActBlue as proxies. However, this theory rests on ongoing investigations. While prominent leftists claim that the roots of the riots are organic, pre-printed signs and seemingly-coordinated appearances of large numbers of protesters continue to raise suspicions. Another concerning aspect is the actions of left-leaning judges to place the interests of illegal aliens over those of American citizens.

If the Democrats want a real shooting civil war, they're insane given the fact that our side is armed to the teeth and that the military as a whole, the Obama brass loyalists notwithstanding, are not or will not necessarily be on their side. No, what they want is to destabilize society and trust in our institutions so much so that average citizens will somehow see the Democrats as the adults in the room and allow them to take control. That too given everything the Democrats have done to America in just the past 5 years let alone the past 200 is equally delusional.

There are several essays in the lead that echo the salient point that this is the same revolution, with essentially the same players, plus global Islam in the mix, aiming to take America down and finding common cause with our native-born traitors.

This cannot be allowed to continue and God willing it is utterly crushed and soon, and everything must be done to ensure that this madness never rises again.

Now that the bastard child of Hermann Goering and a fireplug, Greta Thunberg has been sent back to the Islamic Republic of Malmo instead of being dumped over the side in the Mediterranean, how long do you suppose it will be before she winds up in Los Angeles, unless the National Guard and Marines can start stacking the corpses of the filthy human garbage engaging in violent revolution like cordwood?
My guess is she'll be landing at LAX within the next 24 to 48 hours.

  Bluesky was an interesting attempt at redesigning the core architecture of Twitter, but had no natural userbase until Trump won the 2024 election, whereupon the craziest people on Twitter departed en masse all at once and created Bluesky accounts.
  
  That gave the site a massive boost in user numbers but at the same time a massive headache, because suddenly its users were overwhelming screamingly insane leftists with all the problems that come with them.

  For roughly a decade, Twitter hosted what is lightheartedly called the "national conversation" on issues of the day, particularly social justice and public health. Twitter never had that many users, compared with Instagram or Facebook. But it had a big group of influential users - politicians, policymakers, journalists and academics, all of whom were engaged in a 24/7 conversation about politics and current events.

  Mostly leftists, often far left, but at least, at the time, paying lip service to civility and rationality. Those days are far behind us.
  
  That's what they're trying to regain, but the more they tighten their grip, the more star systems slip through their fingers.

  That was a boon to progressives, who wielded outsize influence on the platform because they were early adopters who outnumbered the conservatives. They were also better organized and better networked, and had the sympathy of Twitter's professional-class employees, who proved increasingly susceptible to liberals' demands for tighter moderation policies on things such as using male pronouns to refer to a transgender woman.

  Translation: Stalinists policing speech.

  It's not surprising that progressives want to return to the good old days. But it's not working, and I'm skeptical it ever will.

  Those were the days, my friend. Thought they would never end.

  Something similar has happened on Bluesky. The nasty fringe has become even nastier: A Bluesky technical adviser recently felt the need to clarify that "The 'let's tell anyone we don't like to kill themselves' crowd are not welcome here" because left-wing trolls kept urging people who disagreed with them to commit suicide. And without the leavening influence of their opponents, Bluesky discourse appears even more censorious and doctrinaire than what progressives were saying on old Twitter.

Democrats' New Effort to Outreach to Male Voters Features the Head of the DNC Whining and Crying That Fembot David Hogg Is Being Too Mean to Him

There is leaked audio from a Zoom call between Democrat National Committee head Ken Martin and DNC Vice Chair for Choad Inspection David Hogg.

Ken Martin is nearly in tears -- or actually in tears --as he complains that David Hogg is making his job too hard and that David Hogg isn't Positioning Him For Success.

Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin told party leaders in a recent private conversation that he's unsure about his ability to lead the party because of infighting created by Vice Chair David Hogg.

"I'll be very honest with you, for the first time in my 100 days on this job ... the other night I said to myself for the first time, I don't know if I wanna do this anymore," he said in a May 15 Zoom meeting of DNC officers, according to a recording obtained by POLITICO.

In the recording, an emotional Martin describes being deeply frustrated by the fallout over Hogg, who has ignited a firestorm in the party by vowing to spend $20 million in safe-blue primaries to oust incumbent Democrats he believes are ineffective. Martin paused twice while appearing to choke up.

The intraparty feud, Martin said on the recording, is making it more difficult for the party to do its work -- and had ruined his ability to demonstrate leadership.

"No one knows who the hell I am, right? I'm trying to get my sea legs underneath of me and actually develop any amount of credibility so I can go out there and raise the money and do the job I need to to put ourselves in a position to win," Martin said, addressing Hogg. "And again, I don't think you intended this, but you essentially destroyed any chance I have to show the leadership that I need to. So it's really frustrating."

It was an extraordinary admission from the chair of the Democratic Party, just a few months after being elected to lead the party through its post-2024 crisis. The nearly two-minute clip does not include the entire conversation, including how Hogg and others may have responded to Martin.

Asked for an interview, Martin, 51, sent a statement through a spokesperson. In it, he said, "I'm not going anywhere."

Asked for comment, party leaders rallied behind Martin, expressing confidence in his leadership.

In a statement, DNC Associate Chair Shasti Conrad, who attended the Zoom meeting and was briefly mentioned on it, said Martin "showed vulnerability in a private conversation" and "stood up" for the Democratic Party.

"He shows up with authenticity. Always," she said. "That's what you'll hear on the tape."

Trump: If Los Angeles or California Enters a State of Insurrection, I Will Put It Down

President Trump on Tuesday made clear he's considering stronger federal intervention in response to violent demonstrations in Los Angeles, sparked by a wave of federal immigration enforcement raids. While not committing to action, Trump said invoking the Insurrection Act remained an option if the violence escalates.

Speaking from the Oval Office, Trump detailed what he described as "terrible" scenes from the previous evening, alleging that rioters had ripped up sections of concrete from the streets and hurled them at law enforcement vehicles. "If we didn't get involved, right now, Los Angeles would be burning," he said.

Judge Dismisses Justin Baldoni's $400 Million Defamation Suit Against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and the New York Times

A federal judge has thrown out actor Justin Baldoni's $400 million lawsuit against actress Blake Lively and her husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, marking a decisive legal victory for the Hollywood couple. Baldoni had accused Lively of making false sexual harassment claims as part of an alleged reputational power play. However, the court found no actionable evidence to support the claims, dismissing the entire suit and paving the way for potential countersanctions against Baldoni and his affiliates.

I get the idea that allegations in a lawsuit are privileged and cannot be the basis of a defamation claim, but how does that insulate them from repeating the defamations to a New York Times reporter, or getting their publicist to spread the allegations around?

Lively's attorneys, Esra Hudson and Mike Gottlieb, celebrated the ruling, calling it a "total victory and a complete vindication" for their client and those "dragged into [Baldoni's] retaliatory lawsuit." They further indicated intentions to pursue legal costs and damages from Baldoni and others associated with Wayfarer for what they termed "abusive litigation."

The fallout from this legal drama may not be over yet. Judge Liman gave Baldoni's team until June 23 to amend and refile only limited claims regarding tortious interference and breach of implied contract. The broader defamation effort, however, is effectively dead in the water.

They also added to the confusion over what exactly was happening on the streets, which was portrayed in digital and social media through starkly divergent ideological lenses. Many posts created the false impression that the entire city was engulfed in violence, when the clashes were limited to only a small part.

Literally no one thought "the entire city was engulfed in violence." In no riots is the entire city engulfed in violence.

They're falsely claiming that conservatives are stupid and believe stupid things to make the case that we're wrong about the fact that the city was essentially paralyzed by violence. I mean, they shut down one of LA's most important highways, the 101.

There were numerous scenes of protesters throwing rocks or other objects at law enforcement officers and setting cars ablaze, including a number of self-driving Waymo taxis. At the same time, false images spread to revive old conspiracies that the protests were a planned provocation, not a spontaneous response to the immigration raids.

You mean like the California Democrat assemblyman who posted TikToks telling people that "something is going to happen" at the ICE detention center, not-so-subtly encouraging Democrat terrorists to make that something happen?

The confrontation escalated on Monday as new protests occurred and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced -- on X -- that he was mobilizing 700 Marines from a base near Los Angeles to guard federal buildings. They are expected to join 2,000 members of the California National Guard whom Mr. Trump ordered deployed without the authorization of the state's governor, Gavin Newsom, who normally has command of the troops.

The latest deployments prompted a new wave of misleading images to spread -- some purporting to show Marines and the military service's weapons in action. One was a still from "Blue Thunder," a 1983 action-thriller about a conspiracy to deprive residents of Los Angeles of their civil rights. It features a climactic dogfight over the city's downtown.

Someone posted a meme of a sci-fi helicopter doing loop-de-loops and killing Malcolm McDowell and the New York Times is taking this as "disinformation" that proves that we're all spreading "conspiracy theories."

Darren L. Linvill, a researcher at Clemson University's Media Forensics Hub, said conservatives online were "building up the riots in a performative way "to help bolster Mr. Trump's claims that Los Angeles had been taken over by "violent, insurrectionist mobs."

Note that this argument is merely "conservatives are playing this story more heavily that liberals are." No shit. Liberals always hide stories about liberals acting badly.

According to state filings, CHIRLA received nearly $34 million in 2023, most of it from California state contracts. The Biden administration had also awarded the group nearly $200,000 in federal grants before President Trump terminated that funding earlier this year.

Meanwhile, far-left activist groups like the Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL), with known ties to the Chinese Communist Party, have also taken credit for organizing the protests. This seems to have started around the time that Musk bought Twitter and refused to participate in the Biden administration's Big Tech-Big Government Censorship Complex:

The accusation came amid Musk's multi-day online assault on Trump's proposed spending bill, which he labeled as bloated and misguided. But the tweet quickly triggered a wave of rebuttals, including from David Schoen, Epstein's former criminal defense lawyer.

"I can say authoritatively, unequivocally, and definitively that he [Epstein] had no information to hurt President Trump," Schoen wrote on X. "I specifically asked him!"

Vice President Vance recently said that the United States was "governed by complete morons" before Donald Trump took office. He was talking about the catastrophe of the Biden administration and their ignorance of the fragility of supply chains, but Gavin Newsom has stepped in admirably to fill in the gaps with not just ignorance, but stunning stupidity!

If that were the only calculation, then anyone who makes more in income than he receives from the federal government could claim the same thing. That is the undeniable reality of a progressive tax system. But is even dumber than that; the Trump administration is threatening to withhold funds from California because they aren't following federal law (Title IX) as currently interpreted. That is a tried and true method for forcing the states to do the federal government's bidding. Remember 55 mph speed limits? And exactly how would California withhold federal tax payments? Order every business to stop withholding federal taxes from their employees' paychecks, and instead send the funds to the state? That's...nuts! Tit-For-Tat simply doesn't work.

Bessent condemns Newsom's 'dangerous' threat to withhold $80B in federal taxes amid trans athlete controversy

If the California governor were to follow through with his threat, Bessent said in a Sunday post on X that it would constitute tax evasion.

It is of course just bluster, and Treasury Secretary Bessent does an admirable job of making Newsom look like the idiot that he is. But the lack of seriousness is becoming a recurrent theme in California and many other blue states. The hilariously confused charge that there are no riots, but they were made worse by President Trump's mobilization of the National Guard, is an excellent example of the clownish fools we have in many positions of power. A United States senator advocating for more riots to combat ICE's legal activity to protect America from criminal aliens? Or the house minority leader threatening to expose federal agents?

Obviously these people have become complacent over the last generation; they have a compliant media that are unwilling to examine critically even the most outrageous and idiotic pontifications. They have carte blanche to say the most ridiculous things, and advocate for blatantly illegal policies, because the 4th Estate are 100% in the bag for them.

Yet in the grand scheme, this is a good thing. The monopoly that the mainstream media had is no longer extant, and the American people have access to both the stupidity emanating from the political class AND they can see the underlying facts. That is a big reason why Donald Trump is president, and it is an encouraging sign that the titanic shift that so many are predicting may actually occur.

Good morning kids. When you consider what's happening in LA and evidently breaking out or ready to break out elsewhere, I suppose it could be worse. Instead of rioting against law enforcement and the removal of alien invaders, They could be rioting against those who oppose the imposition of Sharia Law and the Islamization of America. Worse still, rioting in order to impose it. Looking at what's happening in Europe, that is a likely scenario here within perhaps a decade or two at the outside. With Muslims and Leftists, at least for the present, tied at the hip with a kind of Molotov/Ribbentrop pact as they each carve up Poland. The only difference in the analogy is that the Leftists view the Muslims as allies in perpetuity not realizing that once America as founded is destroyed, the Leftists will be first to lose their heads or have their courtesy homosexual flying lesson off of the top of the Freedom Tower or Washington Monument.

In light of what's happening here this link from yesterday tends to resonate rather frighteningly.

Under a “high migration” scenario, Germany’s Muslim population could reach about 20%, France’s 18%, and the UK’s close to 20%. These are substantial shifts from their current proportions.

The Left is now escalating the conflict by openly calling up its cadres in NYC, San Francisco, Nashville, Florida and elsewhere. There is no way in hell that this is some sort of organic protest movement. Someone or some group somewhere is organizing, directing and funding what amounts to a violent insurrection by using the legitimate actions of ICE and law enforcement in the apprehension and deportation of illegal aliens, be they dangerous criminals as an alarmingly large number are or merely foreign nationals on our soil without permission, as cover to destabilize if not actually overthrow the government. If not in one fell swoop then by creating a sense of fear and panic among the citizenry that their government cannot protect them and that it and the MAGA movement, and anything other than the Democrat Party is totalitarian/fascistic etc. etc. etc. as has been broadcast 24/7/365 ever since Trump descended the Trump Tower escalator and was sworn in.

And make no mistake, the Democrat Party itself is up to its degenerate evil rotten neck in this all the way.

How exactly does Rep. Torres think she is going to get federal officers “the f— out of LA”?
