Thin Skin,much ?

Here is an example of how thin skinned the Left and pResident Obama are.

As noted in the article, Saturday Night Live has had MUCH more blatant parodies brought on our tv screens over the last 25 years; this one barely rates a mention.

Taxes, taxes,taxes

Dick Morris has some advice for those who might be thinking Obama is the right choice to (serve a second term) be elected as President this November.

Always remember folks; right now the mantra is "soak the rich"...but what happens when the "rich", when they are all tapped out ?

Inevitably we ALL get soaked.

Right now Mr. Obama is proposing to allow the "Bush tax cuts" to expire for those making over $250,000. a year, thus raising revenues to the government on the order of $85 Billion...guess what; at current rate of expenditures, that amount would allow the government to operate for a period of 8-1/2 DAYS...who will they come after when that week is over ?

Happy 4Th of July

I watched the Independence day celebrations happening in Boston, and it was truly a fine show. The fireworks were magnificent and the Boston Pops lived up to their reputation.

In the back of my mind, though, I was mourning the fact that this was likely the last celebration of a truly free Nation of Citizens.

I think that most people don't truly understand the ramifications of the SCOTUS decision on The ACA....I was shocked by the decision; then I listened to some Conservative pundits opine that, in reality, John Roberts was a genius in writing the Majority decision; that he had completely stymied Mr. Obama by blocking the use of the Commerce Clause to heighten the power of the Progressive cause to control the American public...instead he allowed them to gain power by allowing them to use the power of taxation instead.

Remember this when the Bovine excrement hits the rotary air device. For the first time, people will be taxed because they didn't take an action the Government deemed essential for the public good. Just think about it; what if the Government deemed it essential that we all buy a certain type of car (to reduce the use of gasoline and help clear the atmosphere, of course) or buy certain types of food (just to ensure that you were eating healthier/ and supporting farmers growing certain crops, sounds reasonable, doesn't it?)

Well when the government can force you through the power of taxation to commit an act; just HOW can you maintain the fiction that you are a free Citizen with the power to do as YOU see fit as the correct way to spend you're hard earned income?

We have all become servants to Governmental policy, NOT free CITIZENS that tell our Government what WE want it to do. We can no longer live our lives as we deem fit; we must check in with a bureaucracy to see what we are ALLOWED to do, or what we MUST buy to stay on the right side of the regulations.

You may say that I'm just spouting out gloom and doom sour grapes, but I suggest you save this post in your archives and revisit it next years and see if I'm correct or not. I PRAY that I AM wrong on all of it, but having been a off and on again student of History, I fear I'm right on the button.

I don't believe that I'll be able to say " I told you so"; I think I will be fighting on the line against tyranny, or already died doing so; I only hope as bravely as the Patriots at Concord.

Condom History

In 1272, the Arabic Islamic Muslims
invented the condom, using a goat's lower
intestine.

In 1873, the British somewhat refined
the idea by removing the intestine from the goat first.

A Hopeful Future?

Here is a scene I hope to see sometime after Jan. 6 2013...Actually I would prefer that they would be dressed in orange jumpsuits and that there would be bars in the windows behind them; but I suppose that is too much to ask for....

Fast & Furious

The inimitable Bill Whittle gives his take on Fast and Furious, as he says, just follow the ideology and it all becomes clear just how far this Administration will go to foist it's Socialist spin on the American public.

Just ask yourself this question:

President Obama and AG Holder have both stated that they knew nothing about the gunrunning scheme.

Some few of the documents released to Mr. Issa's Committee have shown, that at least in AG Holder's case, that this is a blatant falsehood.

President Obama has invoked a blanket of Presidential Privilege on any further documents being released to the Committee.

IF neither man knew anything about the program; just WHAT are they invoking Privilege ON ?

How can there be any Privilege for any conversations/contacts that supposedly never occurred ?

UPDATE: Seems REP. Issa has the same concerns about Executive Privilege that I do. This letter is the closest thing to a bitch-slap as you'll ever find in public in major league politics. All I can say is "ATTA-BOY"!

MUST Read !

My sister sent me this, and I believe it is of the utmost importance that every American reads and takes this message to heart...if not, we are doomed to lose this battle.

In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: Who lost Europe ?

Here is the speech of Geert Wilders, Chairman, Party for Freedom, the Netherlands, at the Four Seasons, New York, introducing an Alliance of Patriots and announcing the Facing Jihad Conference in Jerusalem.

Hyprocrisy at it's Finest

For the last 8 months or so we have been inundated by the Administrations claims that voter ID laws are discriminatory at best and racist at worst...

Yet,on Friday, June 8th, those wishing to attend a book signing event by the First Lady must purchase a copy of the First Lady's book at the location and leave it at the store, according to the employee. At the same time, customers must also submit their social security number and show an official photo ID (driver's license, passport) to a Secret Service agent, and they will be issued a wristband to the First Lady's event on June 12.( Emphasis added)

So, it's possibly racist to have to show a photo ID to cast a ballot, but not only must you show a photo ID, but you must also give out your Social Security number in order to have the First Lady sign her book for you ?!?

I do understand that there security concerns whenever a political figure makes a public appearance, but these measures seem to be far more than required; and if a figurehead of a stance that considers it "racist" to show ID to vote, yet requires even more stringent requirements just to be able to bask in her presence...well doesn't anyone else see the disconnect here?

Quote of the Day

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen. Citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. John F. Kennedy

Can you imagine the outcry if ANY Democratic office holder said anything like this today, much less the President ?

Instead, the Democratic Party seems hell bent on taking all our 2nd Amendment rights away; even going so far as to use the United Nations as cover for their actions. The Republicans aren't that far away from this mindset either, but at least they aren't actively pursuing that goal at present.

How far we have fallen.....

At Last

I hope SOMEONE noticed I haven't been around for a considerable space of time (though I sincerely doubt it).

Seems a particularly vicious virus took hold of my computer, and seeing as our coffers are particularly empty right now; repair work was low on the "to get things done" list.

But now it's back up and somewhat running, so I can again grace you with my thoughts on events of the day (worth about as much as a cashmere sweater is to a dog, I know )

My tv still isn't working at full speed either, so I'm somewhat limited as to current events, but the one thing I was pleased to learn about was that Scott Walker not only survived his recall election, but that he won it with over a 7 point margin...I thought that it would be a lot closer than that, given Wisconsin is such a Blue state and that the Unions have such a strong hold there.

It was like a super cold glass of water after having spent three days in the desert to hear that Mr. Walker won so handily.

Before the election, the Progressives made out that this was going to be a turning point against the 'vast right wing conspiracy' and that all would be sunshine and Skittles for the Working Man; once that evil Rethuglican, Walker, was booted out, and that the Unions would once again regain their power to provide for the "little guy'; so convinced that this was self evident, and was almost a fait acccompli; the National Progressive machine contributed very little in the way of support and/or money, in the surety that their Union arm could handle this simple little task...and they have had a rude awakening.

The People have started to awaken and look around and see just what has been going on, and they don't much like what they see.

Of course, now that they've lost this round, they don't consider this little dust-up important at all (probably because to acknowledge what really happened is to rock the foundations of their whole world view).

They lost in one of their own secure bastions, and in one of the most Pro-Union states in America...against a moderate Union reformer.

Scott Walker has shown the Progressive litany for the sham that it is; in only 16 months he has turned the economy of Wisconsin around: taking as multi- BILLION dollar state debt town to just over a three MILLION dollar debt (are you watching, Mr President?; this is what a LEADER does), he has put the State Pension Fund back on a sustainable (albeit a lower level of compensation) base.

The Unions were infuriated by this, after all, what right did a State Governor have in cutting their cash cow ?!? Didn't he realize that he was supposed just raise the taxes of every resident in the State to support their ever increasing hunger ? How DARE he oppose Public Union compensation at 2 or 3 times (and ever growing) the level of private sector compensation, after all isn't everyone's goal to feed in ever growing amounts from the Public teat? Just tax more of those rich fat cats !

The gravy train ride is over, at least for the moment, in Wisconsin; now we can only hope and pray that this will translate onto the National scene as well.

A Libertarian speaks out

Center>

I would take this one step further; I believe that Constitutional Carry should be enacted in all 50 States. Under the 2nd Amendment, we have the RIGHT to carry anywhere we should wish to; having a obligation to obtain a CCW is a violation of the "Shall not be infringed" clause of the 2nd Amendment; if you have to obtain permission to arm oneself; it is no longer a "right", but an "allowance" from the Government, and what the Government "allows"; the Government can rescind at their pleasure.

No other freedom outlined in the Bill of Rights requires permission from the Government to be exercised by the Citizenry, why the distinction with the 2ND Amendment?

John F. Kennedy

I find it highly amusing that the darling standard bearer of the Liberal Left, should he be alive today; would find every action taken by the Progressive movement of the present to be totally repugnant to the ideals he stood for.

It's the conservative movement that carries that banner of freedom and personal freedom/responsibility that he (JFK) so ardently projected as the ideal.

Ted Nugent's slant on self protection

"I don't like repeat offenders;I prefer DEAD offenders."

To which I can only respond: AMEN !!
The ability to be allowed to defend ones-self and one's family from attack is should should the highest right ensconced in any civilized society.

To those who say we should depend on the Police to defend our persons and our property, I would say (having been a police officer for over a decade) that protection is not really the police officers main purview; capture of offenders and collection of data after the fact is their main focus. It is, in fact, IMPOSSIBLE for the Police to prevent, or stop a crime as it's occurring, sans the pairing of every person and place with an officer dedicated to same 24/7/365 a year, and I'm sure that most sane people that would honestly think about it realize that...ergo I would postulate that those that would prevent us from protecting ourselves by whatever means at our disposal are, really andtruly, insane.

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity and I'm not sure about the former. Albert Einstein

Mr. Einstein truly was a genius; if he were alive today, he could just point at the supporters of pResident Obama as his irrefutable proof of the human capacity for stupidity.

A Horrendous Story

I got this from my friend and fellow Rottie Nicki Fellinger over at The Liberty Zone; She had but one simple request: help spread this story. This is my humble effort to aid in that goal.

Ranger Up wants Steven Colbert and Jon Stewart to get this story out to the public; I think that Bill O'Reilly and Glen Beck would be better choices, but that's probably my own bias speaking.

Bob and Nancy Strait and their family deserve justice, and it seems that the LSM just doesn't see anything to be gained in terms of ratings and advertising to cover it.

The old media is all over the Trayvon Martin case; and hopefully, justice will be served in that case, whatever the Court deems to be the correct outcome, but to ignore a real American hero in a case that, in many respects, I believe to be far worse in terms of what occurred, is nothing short of hypocrisy; and what confirms what many of us believe to be true; that the old media is no longer a fair and unprejudiced discriminator of the news, but a cheerleader for just certain causes and segments of society, fueled by money and Progressive biases.

Blueprint for America's Failure

How would I ensure that America fails and ends up on the ashcan of history? The following is the plan I'd follow:

Now look around you and examine pResident Obama's policies of the last three years and ask yourself: Is he really doing what's best for America? Or is he doing his absolute best at trying to destroy America ?

Remember these facts when you enter that polling booth in November; remember, the following generation is depending on YOU to save their Country for them.

WHAT are you hiding Mr. President ?

I agree with the pResident in this video... so let's see: Mr. Obama hasn't revealed his REAL BC, instead he posts obvious forgeries. WHY?

Mr. Obama has spent a great deal of money ensuring his transcripts from Occidental and Harvard do not become public knowledge. WHY?

Mr. Obama has been very secretive about his activities as a "Community Organizer. WHY?

Mr. Obama has never explained why several different Social Security numbers have been linked to him, at least one of which originated in a State where he has NEVER lived or worked. WHY?

Mr. Obama has never revealed what passport he used when visiting a country U.S. citizens were prohibited, at that time, to travel in. WHY?

Mr. Obama has never allowed any documents to be posted from when he was head of the Harvard Law Review. WHY?

The list goes on and on, ad nauseaum. I would respectfully suggest that Mr. Obama follows his own advice on "openness in a Presidential candidate", if he wishes to gain a second term.
