The Morning Report - 4/21/22

piercedorgan.jpg

Good morning, kids. Thursday and the subject of the theft of the 2020 election and subsequent overthrow of the US government, both in my column yesterday as well as Ace's post as it applied to the sandbag interview of Trump by Pierced Organ (aka Piers Morgan) engendered some lively discussion among the commenters, to say the least. Before delving yet again into that subject especially as it relates to a speculative re-re-election campaign of Trump, there seems to be a new twist to his supposed storming off of the set in a huff.

On Wednesday afternoon, British media personality Piers Morgan posted a video clip from an interview that is set to air with former President Donald Trump next week that is generating controversy over whether it was deceptively edited. The clip appears to show Trump storming out of the interview, while subsequent reporting suggests that is not what happened.

“Turn the camera off,” Trump says at the end of the video clip that Morgan posted to his Twitter account. “Very dishonest.”

NBC News reported that audio provided to the network by Trump’s team appears to tell a different story about what happened.

“The two men laughed and thanked each other, the recording shows,” NBC News reported. “There are no signs of Trump’s storming off set.”

If the play-by-play of what happened is important to you, then by all means you can click on the links and have at it. FYI, this new Piers Morgan show is being produced on an outlet called TalkTV which is a wholly owned entity of Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation. I'm shocked. Meh, is Donald Trump getting sandbagged by the media any more newsworthy or surprising than the discovery that water is wet?

Yet the question remains, should the theft of the 2020 election be a campaign issue, let alone the central issue, of Donald Trump or any potential candidate? I suppose it depends on what your definition of the word "be" be. The magnitude of the crime cannot be allowed to be swept under the rug and forgotten as if nothing happened. On the other hand, the fact that the media is not only the mouthpiece for the perpetrators of the crime but accessories before and after the fact, given its role as an active participant in the previous attempt to sabotage the 2016 elections, means that any attempt to even broach the subject will be effectively painted as sour grapes. Worse, it in theory distracts from the abject destruction that has been wrought on us in just 14 months.

I suppose I have to admit that I'm guilty of not realizing that a very large segment of the population, if not the majority, has the attention span of a flea. Worse, believing that others see things as I see them. It's a sad state of affairs to come to the realization that that just isn't the case. And yet, I just can't let go of it. Maybe there is some sort of a happy medium wherein the suffering that is driving droves of heretofore core Democrat constituents away from them (if not toward the GOP) can be directly tied to the events of November 2020? Or is it just better to shut up, point to the John Wayne Gacy card-carrying NEA member dressed as the Tooth Fairy instructing your children in the glories of glory holes and let the Democrats get wiped out.

And yet, and yet. I don't have a Wayback Machine and even if I did, I don't have the ability to change history. But, it raises the question, had Trump been reelected would any of this pre-apocalyptic nightmare have happened in the first place? Or, would 2024 and the end of his notional eight years have heralded an even worse disaster?

In contrast to the potentially disastrous political situation for the GOP which a narrow 2020 win would have engendered, the prospect for both Trump and the entire Republican party for 2022 and 2024 looks bright.

In fact, looking even further out, 2028 would not be marked by the usual two-term election malaise as the political reality in that respect is that it would appear for Trump’s successor as a follow on from a single term.

Sometimes a loss, no matter how much it hurts, can turn out to be a blessing in disguise, and 2020 is very much that blessing. The Biden administration’s policy plans have been waylaid by Omicron, Manchin and Sinema, inflation, Putin’s war, rising urban crime and internal party divisions. So far Biden’s 2020 win has not inflicted too much damage than can’t quickly be fixed in 2022/24

About forty thousand votes in two presidential elections in a row will have determined the American landscape for a generation after the midterms -- such are the imponderables of fate in a polarized society.

First off, the author of this essay postulates that Trump would have won in a squeaker or that it would've been a tie and that Mike Pence would have cast the deciding vote. Had that been the case, for sure there would've been a hot civil war and given the Stalinization of the DoD, the situation would've been in doubt right there. But I don't think it was going to be a squeaker; he was on his way to a clear victory if not a big win until the toilet overflowed in Atlanta.

Second, he assumes that everything we are experiencing right now would have happened had Trump been re-elected. I would say that that's a complete crock, especially in terms of the economy, with the exception of the continuing madness over the General Tso's Sickness. Hard to game out the might-have-beens on that front but given the anger over mask and vaccine mandates by normal Americans, much of that garbage would have been tossed, along with Fauci. For sure, China would still be in check, Russia would never have invaded Ukraine, Iran might have finally collapsed, oil would be flowing and gas would still be about $2.50 a gallon, among other things.

It should be noted that Trump is responsible for giving the Democrats the tools to rig the election, insofar as being bamboozled with the "two weeks to flatten the curve" and Operation Warp Speed for vaccines, instead of going to the mattresses on therapeutics and not locking the country down. Oh well. In any case, these what-ifs are all imponderable and a waste of time. But the one observation that I am in agreement on is that the destruction being wrought on us by the Democrat Party, the media, and leftists in and out of government is out in the open, repulsive in the extreme and is directly felt by everyone in their wallets and psyches. I think that we are at a cultural/societal inflection point. The problem is, it's only been a little over 14 months. We still have another 33 to go -- with or without Sponge Brain Square Depends in the Oval Office. And that assumes we win it all in '24 along with the expected Dem wipeout this coming November.

Well, what's done is done and what's to come is anyone's guess. All we can do is the best we can in the here and now. I'm scared out of my mind but at the same time there is always reason for hope.

Trump? DeSantis? Bueller? Who knows. I'm looking beyond electoral politics to a sea change in culture and society away from the headlong plunge towards Sodom and Gomorrah and back towards normalcy. The forces arrayed against us for sure are doing everything they can to prevent it. But they're not infallible. We just have to hang tough and hang together.

49 2020 was some shady shenanigans but ultimately people are motivated by their interests, not those of someone else. Donald Trump won in 2016 because he made his campaign about voter concerns (jobs and the economy) whereas Clinton just made everything about herself. Trump lost 2020 in part because he too made it about himself; if he does that again he's likely to get the same result.

77 Speculating about what might have been is a waste of time, energy, and imagination.

However, thinking about what could be...

You want a happy medium between The Steal and former Democrats - adopt a tone of "more in sorrow than anger" but the message is "We tried to warn you. Now help us fix it before it's too late."

And every 2 years (don't forget Congressional elections!) remind people of what happens when the Government at any level - from the School Board on up to the Federal Government - gets too much power.

You remind them in two ways
1) Tit-for-tat regulation and "sue and settle." Play by the Democrats rules until they squeal, and then go a little bit further.
Deux) Constant video and audio commercials of things Progressives - especially Progressive Politicians - have actually said.

Of course, that assumes actual Conservatives in both the White House and Congress, which is unlikely, to say the least.

My mind can't help but wander back a few decades to any other point in American history where I get to tell these people this will be present (and growing) and targeting their kids. They simply would not believe it. It's so sick and ludicrous, I don't believe it. Yet it's real. Same with Big Gay, Big Trans, Big Racist CRT targeting school children. 81 "Joe Biden is a symbol of the entire federal government: Its dangerous incompetence, corruption, and utter disrespect for the American people and the rule of law."
It’s Not Just Joe Biden. The United States Has a Potemkin Government

I have been saying this for quite some time, what recently is called the "Deep State" has been, increasingly over the past generation or so, evolved into a full blown hostile, occupying enemy force against We The People.

Usually, enemy forces attempt an occupation to loot, plunder and rape the conquered. That is easy to understand given fallen human nature. Lower players on the hierarchy enjoy tormenting and killing people because what is power unless it is being used? These are people who would race through active school zones if they knew that there was no controlling legal authority to resist it.

This particular batch of Reprobates exceed even that level of wickedness and plunge into demonic activity through CRT, child grooming and trans-sexualism.

++++
We'd be in rough shape, even if Trump hadn't had the win stolen from him - but we would not be in anything like as rough a shape as we are now. We'd still be producing great big, delicious gobs of energy. There would probably not be a way in Ukraine. Afghanistan probably would still have been a disaster. The economy would be suffering high inflation, but we'd likely be on the other side of the hill by now and we likely wouldn't be teetering on recession - assuming, of course, that the COVID stand-down could have been effected by Trump and his administration. Supply chains would be still be hurting, but the declines wouldn't have been as bad.

But that's the rub. If Trump were in office, would the COVID stand-down have happened? Even now, they can't agree on this - and if Trump were there they'd all be aligned toward MOAR COVID and that could mean that we'd be worse off. No way to know.

Yes, but carefully. A few talking points of obvious things, a call-back to the press that acknowledged it, paint Abrams and Clinton with the same brush. Then move on to a platform that includes as a primary plank elections hygiene and reform and develop a popular mandate to pursue it with the state Secretaries of State.

The steal needs to be acknowledged and made right. The point, in my opinion, isn't to dwell on the steal - but to mention it, make it clear that it's a world-historic disaster, and then lay out the plan to fix and prevent it from ever happening again as a part of the platform.

The cards held 10,000 ballots and After a test performed by Dominion staff purportedly confirmed that the ballot storage capacity on the flashcards was actually just 5,000, however, Dominion determined that the flashcards should be replaced at 3,000 ballots.

So that mean cards could be manipulated to add either 2000 fake votes or up to 5000 fake votes.

Over 109 cards were turned in with no paper tape or chain of custody.

109 cards time 2000 votes would be damn close to the 311,000 fake votes in the lawsuit.

So why involve Satan? Seriously.

The whole concept of the existence of Satan, a created being, is provided by the prophets of the Almighty God. Why not just adopt Islam or revive Ba'al worship?

They chose "Satan" because, lying is easy and today comes completely without consequence. So they stumble across "Satan" because their stupid lizard brains convince them that magic trigger words like "Satan" will somehow hurt Christian people or throw them into a state of high angst.

There is no benevolence and empathy, it is hatred and contempt with a deep desire to hurt and emotionally wound a broad category of people.

Based on my personal experience (my own home congregation at the time, visiting a few others trying to find a better one, etc.) I can say with great confidence: churches that closed their doors fell into one of two categories: old, dying churches (> 50% population is over age 55), and "hip, cool" churches that didn't worry so much about all that sin and repentance stuff and focused more on "how to be a good person."

The former are coming back as they re-open, and they had fairly good reasoning (even if it was flawed because of the media) for closing.

The latter? No so much.

On the latter we agree fully. Everything was made worse by the junta. The reason for the Monday-morning quarterbacking is that a lot of the groundwork for the inflation we're suffering from now was laid during the first year of the COVID response, and happened on Trump's watch.

155 I think that we are at a cultural/societal inflection point. The problem is, it's only been a little over 14 months. We still have another 33 to go -- with or without Sponge Brain Square Depends in the Oval Office. And that assumes we win it all in '24 along with the expected Dem wipeout this coming November.

I'm going to make a couple of predictions here:

- by the end of summer, all this mishegas over "grooming" and "Ukraine" and "stagflation" will be in the rearview mirror, helped along by the MFM. The talk will concentrate on Orange Man Bad, Poor Luckless Joe and "INSURRECTION!"

- should the GOP, by some miracle (which will not be abetted by me) achieve a Red Wave in November, they will do absolutely nothing to roll back, counterattack or even impede the leftward shift. They will whine and posture and excuse, but people here will be screaming "I voted for these nickelfuckers and they're not doing anything!"

Mark my words.

156 There is no undoing the 2020 election. The key is stopping the same shenanigans in 24. The legislatures need to step up. The voters need to get the right people as state judges, AG, sos, and governor. The left has been putting the pieces in play for years. Now that we know the game, we have to either play it ourselves or flip the table.

Mostly they're just children (even the ones who are in their 40s and later) who see "oh, bad things happen" and decide "then God must be evil!"

I used to try to have conversations with them. Now I mostly just roll my eyes. They have traded the Truth of God for a lie, and he's giving them over to their basest desires. Either they'll figure out that if the world is complicated, then anything about God and the Heavenly Realms must be infinitely more complicated, or they'll continue holding to their childish notion that they know better than God what is right, what is wrong, and what God should do about it.

209 Talking to a member of a client's family yesterday who is a "Diversity Equity Inclusion consultant." She is on one level nice, in that she seems to take seriously being a "good person" according to her ethics of being one.

But when you spend any time talking about serious things with a Woke Person you come to understand how much they have an entirely alien system of ethics: divorced from the Judeo-Christian-Biblical tradition, entirely uninformed by Western Civilization secular values such as honor, duty and country, or basic American-Classical Liberal positions such as the primacy and rights of the individual.

So it's not that they don't want to be "good people." It's more that their fundamental sense of right and wrong has almost nothing in common with what you or I think, or feel, to be right and wrong. To go further, one could say that they've been intellectually and spiritually conditioned, and conditioned themselves, to be amoral monsters by any traditional standard, i.e. sociopaths.

229 201 So the regime is going to court so the CDC will have the authority to re-impose masks in case of emergency. "

I'm fairly confident that they will lose this appeal, and that's because the SCOTUS has been remarkably consistent on what they've allowed and what they haven't. I don't agree with all of their decisions; but when there is some plausible claim that the Feds have legal authority to do something, such as ordering military members to be vaxxed, they've upheld it. When there is *no* clear statutory authority, such as this case where the CDC is pretending it's a regulatory body, not an advisory body, then the SCOTUS has overturned their actions.

232 Part of the trans insanity is the large issue of the evisceration of the Self, which is ironic in the age of MeMeMe. They're raised by terrible parents to have no sense of real self worth. Their identity is defined by their body, not their soul or their character. Skin color. Genitals. Sexual impulses. Mental illness and neurochemical imbalances. The true path to happiness and self satisfaction (the good kind) is through cultivation of virtues and seeking harmony with the universe, not physical traits and who you want to rub your crotch against. But that path is closed off to developing minds by a culture that sneers at virtue and celebrates disorder, so people grow up seeking Self Growth through a collection of physical and neurological affects.

236 The administration's appeal of the transit mask mandate decision is baffling to me. They were handed a win. A judge got rid of the unpopular mandate, the administration did nothing, they could blame a Trump Judge for endangering people, keep their base placated with the diversion while reducing the number of people who are constantly mad at them.

They could not have gamed out a better scenario for ending the transit mask mandate, and if they had even an iota of intelligence they would have taken the win. But now, they have jumped into a no-win scenario. Either they win the appeal and make everyone even more furious day-to-day and emphasize to people that the government is now lawless, or they lose the appeal and the finding that the agencies have been acting unconstitutionally is upheld and thus provide more ammunition for going after them in the future - as well as having doubled-down on defeat and humiliated themselves.

The CDC was the last to submit to "COVID is Over" and they never went all-in on it, and the machinators on that side have fucked up the great gift this judge gave to the junta. It's astonishing.

261 A group of former intelligence and national security officials on Monday issued a jointly signed letter warning that pending legislative attempts to restrict or break up the power of Big Tech monopolies -- Facebook, Google, and Amazon -- would jeopardize national security because, they argue, their centralized censorship power is crucial to advancing U.S. foreign policy. The majority of this letter is devoted to repeatedly invoking the grave threat allegedly posed to the U.S. by Russia as illustrated by the invasion of Ukraine, and it repeatedly points to the dangers of Putin and the Kremlin to justify the need to preserve Big Tech's power in its maximalist form. Any attempts to restrict Big Tech's monopolistic power would therefore undermine the U.S. fight against Moscow.

While one of their central claims is that Big Tech monopoly power is necessary to combat (i.e., censor) "foreign disinformation," several of these officials are themselves leading disinformation agents: many were the same former intelligence officials who signed the now-infamous-and-debunked pre-election letter fraudulently claiming that the authentic Hunter Biden emails had the "hallmarks" of Russia disinformation (former Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Obama CIA Director Michael Morrell, former Obama CIA/Pentagon chief Leon Panetta). Others who signed this new letter have strong financial ties to the Big Tech corporations whose power they are defending in the name of national security (Morrell, Panetta, former Bush National Security Adviser Fran Townsend).

Any attempt to restrict Big Tech's monopolistic power would therefore undermine the U.S. fight against Moscow.

The public incoherence on the "Should we appeal, shouldn't we?" question is a rare public view into the war inside the Dem Party, between those who are still slightly rational and who care about the future, and those who are completely blinded by ideology and raw emotion. Currently the Irrational's are winning, which I think is the answer to "why are the Dems doing so many things that are clearly insane?"

289 They could not have gamed out a better scenario for ending the transit mask mandate, and if they had even an iota of intelligence they would have taken the win. But now, they have jumped into a no-win scenario.

well, first off I think to THEM it looks like a win-win now. they appease the Psycho Wing (their base) with this "fighting back" thing. and they will probably lose their appeal anyway it will quietly go away (but with enough wiggle room - as Bidens call it "plausible deniability" to make them still Karen's heroes).

and also, this has become clear - we are in an oligarchy of Bureaus. The tippy top are the intelligence services and State, then possibly HHS-related bureaus and CDC/FDA/EPA ... but basically the top bureaucrats rule us now.

Apparently none of the retards there took any lesson whatsoever from Twitter.

Twitter goes ahead and alienates an entire segment of the world's demographics, and instead of that excluded community bowing down and turning into Leftists, they go create their alternatives while figuring out how to dismantle Twitter by other means.

So far, Russia has succeeded in tearing down the former US's hegemony on The Dollar as the global reserve currency - oil is traded now in something other than US Dollars. India and China are reconsidering their ties to the former US, and the world is fracturing back into a Cold War stance.

Go ahead an alienate people. Few stand around and let themselves be abused - only Westerners take endless beatings and continual humiliation.

This kind of makes sense. The mandate was overturned because the judge agreed that the CDC lacked legal authority to impose the mandate. If the government needs to appeal or it gives up any pretense of authority in the future. They already gave up on the eviction moratorium. Giving up on this would mean the CDC could not mandate that all penis possessing humans chop off their balls to stop the rape epidemic.

Everything every member of the Junta says in public (except Joey's babbling - when he's not supposed even say hello) is written to provide propaganda sound bites for use by the Dem-Media Complex. Meaning the key messages of the verbal diarrhea must be written for a 2nd-grade comprehension level, and to ideally fit in a TV chyron. Joey, Kamala, Buttplug, etc., couldn't care less about what their captive in-person audience thinks about the spew. The generals, CEOs, and local officials are not insulted because they are in on the con.

When the corned beef finished (which was great), the broth had reduced by half and seemed a little salty and way too good to waste. Enter grits. I didn't even measure, but did the chef thing by feel, and damn, these were great. All 7 folks here loved them as we served it like "shrimp and grits", but it was "corned beef and grits"...

He said it is always two years behind as it waits for research. Its PR for public broadcast is terrible as it was not designed as such. It has also been turned into a legal backstop for businesses as its recommendations are now central to best practices.
