It is more than 50%. One of my coworkers at church is a hard core Obama lover. He had a fairly successful career in the auto industry before he "retired." I like the guy personally, but it sounds like he hates the right as much as I hate the left. So we will never be more than acquaintances.

Yes, I think they should be able to sell to whomever they want. But you cannot pretend that this action was taken by Congress with the economic health of the American people in mind.

In most cases I think everyone agrees that's the case, but in the matter of fuel, that's another issue. Its a strategic reserve, something we need to be able to move and fight to defend the country. So it has to be watched over carefully to make sure we aren't depriving ourselves of self defense.

A delay in the Cadillac taxes (on healthcare) is in no conceivable sense a "win" for Republicans. Delay or repeal of the Cadillac taxes was an absolutely central goal of Big Labor, who are, let us remember, a key DEMOCRATIC CONSTITUENCY.
As for a "win" on the already enacted idiotic light bulb ban (originated with a Republican, Fred Upton), it really doesn't matter now what the heck the GOP does retroactively, because for all practical purposes, incandescents are pretty much gone from the retail channel, and domestic production of them has been shut down.

Likewise, Senate GOP leadership has promised to vote on the House Syrian refugee bill and it is already on the Senate calendar. You can check the bill's status on Congress.gov.

That bill was expanded by the Senate on December 3rd (http://1.usa.gov/1YMrQx2). Due to those changes, the House will have to take another vote if they want to get the bill to the SCOAMF's desk. Please show me which provisions I listed as being in the bill are not actually in the bill. Furthermore, I would note that I have said that the omnibus bill could have been better had certain members not sacrificed part of their leverage prior to negotiations and have also criticized members for failing to do their jobs on their respective authorizing committees. Neither one of those observations is a positive for Republicans. The tax extender bill is better - though, as always, there are still some things I dislike - because the Republicans were able to maximize their leverage.

If you would actually read my comments as a whole and taken in their entirety you would notice that I have been critical of Republicans in this process. I also said that, thus far, the omnibus is a mixed bag. As with the tax extender bill, there are things I dislike as well as things I like. That said, I think certain outlets are being disingenuous as far as the bill's contents are concerned because they desire to promote anger and strife. In such instances, I will note what did and did not actually happen. If you doubt the examples I have provided, you can read both the omnibus and tax extenders bill for yourself.
