Good Morning Morons. Today is Thursday, October 15, 2015. Today is Islamic New Year. We should send them a "present". On this day in 1917 dancer Mata Hari was executed by a French firing squad for spying for the German Empire after a kangaroo court convicted her. The French had no evidence of her spying and her lawyer was not allowed to put up a defense. However, in 1970 German documents were released that said she was an agent for Germany but there is no evidence that she actually did any "spying".

Prepare for another great foreign policy triumph by Obama as horseface is going to be sent to the Mideast to "calm tensions" and reduce the unrest in Israel. Sounds like BS to me. He is going there to harass Israel and demand concessions for the terrorists who are killing people right and left.

The 1,000 sq ft affordable starter home is virtually disappearing. The market is now largely $500,000 or more rich people homes or government subsidized poor folks homes. One of the reasons these homes are disappearing is that builders can not make a profit on them because local regulations are driving the costs through the roof without making the home any more attractive to buyers. Voters need to put a stop to the number of climbing regulations. Of course, a lot of these new regulations are unfounded mandates dictated by Obama.

Permanent Population Control Now Possible
A new permanent form of birth control has been touted for control of animal populations. It turns out this results in infertility potentially for life. There is no indication that this is reversible, but even if a way of reversing this were possible there would still be "reproductive tissue damage." Would this fly for human population control like it is intended with animal population control? Already we have underage kids being allowed to sterilize themselves without parental input. With childlessness becoming the new norm and birth control now eliminating menses all together, a permanent sterilization is par for the course. What is even more frighteningly is that forced sterilization is something that has already happened in this country... with the approval of the Supreme Court! http://politicalhat.com/?p=10105 Posted by: The Political Hat at October 15, 2015 07:05 AM (vBeA5) Posted by: MTF at October 15, 2015 07:06 AM (TxJGV) 33

Illinois admits in a court filing it can no longer send out public employee pension payments, which were nothing more than corrupt bargains between the Democrat Party and their voters to steal public funds anyway. Despite the danger we have no choice but to press for an Art. 5 convention. The House is searching for something achievable to do for the base, so do this: suggest sample wording for state legislatures to use in calling for a convention and pass it in the form of a resolution referring the matter to the states. Yes, that's purely symbolic, as the state legislatures have to pass it, but it gives uniform language (eliminating the "different language" objection), it specifies what amendments will be worked on (answering the "who knows what could happen!" fear), and it takes advantage of GOP dominance in state legislatures to assert Constitutional power.
The GOPe can do this right now, and Obama and the Progressives don't get a say. Fuck 'em. Posted by: MTF at October 15, 2015 07:46 AM (TxJGV) 102

In the confederate flag debate the one thing I know is we are always told we must tolerate the intolerable because that is what it means to be a citizen of the United States. That argument has become one sided.
Now we are being told that one side's behavior is intolerable, and the federal government (which should be a neutral arbiter of disputes of this nature) has taken a side in the argument. Now, one side's intolerable behavior is a crime, because it offends the other side; the very antithesis of what the United States once stood for. Not saying that those idiots didn't yell any racial slurs but let's face facts, when the police roll up and it's a very clear cut case of white vs black then they're gonna be told that racial slurs were hurled.
People may be ignorant but they're not stupid. They know that plays to a jury whether it happened or not. They don't deserve the charges but then that's what we'll have until there's some prosecutorial oversight and some real penalties for exceeding their authority. Underground Border Bunker Held 8 Armored Trucks for Mexican Gulf Cartel REYNOSA, Tamaulipas --- The Gulf Cartel had eight armored trucks hidden in an underground bunker-like garage in the outskirts of this border city that sits immediately across the border from South Texas. The seizure took place this weekend following an air and land operation by the Mexican Army in the rural areas near this city, information provided to Breitbart Texas by the Tamaulipas government revealed. The Mexican military had been carrying out an air surveillance operation when they spotted a series of suspicious air mounds near the rural community of Santa Lucia. The soldiers relayed the information to ground troops who moved into the area to check what the mounds were. The soldiers ended up discovering the bed of a tractor trailer that had been buried. Inside the trailer bed authorities found two armored vehicles. Authorities searched the area and ended up finding nine other vehicles hidden in the brush. Of the 11 seized vehicles, eight of them were armored. Five of the vehicles had professionally installed armor while the three others had makeshift armor made up of welded steel plates. "Does Illinois really need all that expensive snow removal equipment? "
Well, judging from experience of driving through Ohio during winter time, I've concluded that states at that latitude have to put salt down by the mega ton because people at those latitudes don't understand what 'black ice' is, where it forms, or why, or when or how to drive on it. So anytime there is a snowflake in the air, might be a snowflake in the air, or afternoon snowmelt on the ground that might refreeze, then the salt trucks have to be out there making the roads safe. Which is only one step removed from the more southern states who don't even have salt trucks, nor know how to use pickup trucks and hand shovels to spread sand on bridges. Oh, have you ever been to Albuquerque, or Dallas when the roads are icy? Posted by: Nathen Filgrim at October 15, 2015 08:17 AM (n/TEt) 170

Hi kids!
So in yesterday's thread about the French weatherman and the climate change I started to wonder how my friend back in MA who is a TV weatherman felt about all this. Turns out he's reassuringly sane. But the article had this: Kelley is not alone among meteorologists in his views. Results of a survey of 571 weathercasters, released on Monday by George Mason University, found 54 percent believed that global warming was happening, with 31 reporting it is mostly caused by human activities and 63 percent saying it is mostly caused by natural changes in the environment. Fifty-eight percent of respondents indicated humans could reduce global warming. That's right. 54% believe global warming is happening. 58% believe humans can reduce global warming. So at least 4% of meteorologists believe we can reverse a thing that isn't happening. Posted by: Bandersnatch, Team Lefty and Scamp at October 15, 2015 08:22 AM (JtwS4) 179

Lackeys that keep them in power are tolerated at lower levels of power, much like Kings had Dukes, and Dukes had Counts, and Counts had Barons and whatnot... but everyone who's not part of the ruling class or its support network must be reduced to starving masses dependent on the generosity of their enlightened lords. Eh, the point of more women at the point of combat
isn't fymynyst equality- it's to further their anti-military agenda, in much the same way the Left is always trying to revive the draft. Few things will horrify the American public more than when they display the pretty, young girl net door whose had her face blown off or lost several limbs or horrifically crippled or rendered barren by their combat duty. and they will be used as political fodder by the left. Of course, the gold standard in the progtard's mind would be to reinstitute the draft to place your daughter willing or not at the point of combat. Don't worry it's coming. No matter who you are, the left will find a way to exploit you. Posted by: naturalfake at October 15, 2015 08:59 AM (KUa85) 260

Posted by: Chupacabra I think the same with many businesses. At my last job we had an opening. My boss (women) who was verrrrryyyyy pro women hear me roar BS, hired another women for the job. The job was for logistics/inventory/purchasing. I was involved in the candidate screening. One of the men that applied had 12 years Army logistics and inventory experience and was just out of the service. Another man who was about 40 years old, had 20 years experience in logistics. The boss hired a women who had 2 years logistics experience. She was about 23 and recently married. When I read her resume, I thought not only is she the weakest candidate, but within a year she will be on maternity leave. I was right, and got to do her job while she was out, and then when her leave was running out, she quits. So now I get to do the job another 3 months until they get someone else hired and trained, by me. Of course it was another women who was recently married. This. Especially with Chicago Shit-Midas in the White House. But even without that, the Fed Gov is *not* going to allow any of the States to drop to territorial status. 1) They don't want to lose the income tax revenue. 2) Considering how much of many State budgets is due to Federal "sharing" (Medicaid especially, but others, too), someone *might* just start asking if all that "free" money is worth the cost. And we can't have that - then States might start taking back some of their power. Posted by: AllenG (DedicatedTenther) - Fire-hooks and Rock Salt for sale at October 15, 2015 09:14 AM (kff5f) 297

My latest proposal for an Amendment, based on one of the posts above:
If a state goes bankrupt, is beyond restructuring, and has to be bailed out, it automatically reverts to territorial status. The entire state government responsible for the bankruptcy will be dismissed and forbidden from holding government positions. The State will then be administered by a Territorial government until such a time as the State is capable of reimbursing the Federal Government in full for bailing out its creditors. If for any reason the state's voters or acts of Congress should subdivide the state, the debt owed will be split according to population. Let's add that to the Article V wishlist. Obama decides maybe removing those troops for Iraq was the smartest mover ever.
Announces troops will stay in Afghanistan. Say what you want, but the guy is a really quick thinker. Posted by: Nip Sip at October 15, 2015 09:27 AM (jJRIy) 332

I'm in pretty constant low-level pain so it's worth a try.
Posted by: joncelli, Boned like You at October 15, 2015 09:18 AM (RD7QR) ~~~ Same here. And I tried to treat the mild to moderate pain myself for over a year, bouncing around through all sorts of self diagnoses and treating myself with Immodium, Pepto, Lactaid, probiotics, etc. etc. Finally had a full-blown "attack" and thought I was gonna die. Pain excruciating. Glad to be rid of the little sucker. Posted by: IrishEi at October 15, 2015 09:30 AM (E6RIJ) 335
Under current U.S. law a state can not go "bankrupt". It simply cannot happen, unless Congress provides a new law.

Of course, the gold standard in the progtard's mind would be to reinstitute the draft to place your daughter willing or not at the point of combat. Don't worry it's coming. No matter who you are, the left will find a way to exploit you. Posted by: naturalfake at October 15, 2015 08:59 AM (KUa85) I'm gonna have to disagree with you here. No way in HELL that the leftists extend draft registration to women. They're all about trying to give women fellow travelers all the career benefits of access to combat training schools and combat MOSs without any of the responsibilities and obligations. The caterwauling of feminists who want something for nothing would be absolutely deafening if the draft was extended to women. Posted by: IllTemperedCur at October 15, 2015 09:40 AM (u093l) 337
Got caught up on the ONT.... two videos made my hair stand on end: tthe first was the Bill Whittle video. He's really great. The second was the one with the Israeli citizen (hero).
And thanks, Vic. Enjoy your beautiful day. Have a good day, all. Posted by: Gem at October 15, 2015 09:41 AM (c+gwp) 338
What would be the closest they could get to bankruptcy?
Reduction to Territorial status, with a governor appointed by Washington. Can't see how that would change a thing in Illin-wah. Fun to watch, though. Fed about to issue "superbonds" to cover Puerto Rico. Precedent being set. Posted by: Stringer Davis at October 15, 2015 08:56 AM (xq1UY) That would be awesome, think of all those blue state politicians who would disappear from Washington and all the electoral college votes along with them. Woo Hoo. Posted by: An Observation at October 15, 2015 10:53 AM (5LDU0) Posted by: artisanal 'ette at October 15, 2015 01:12 PM (qCMvj) 340

80 The GOP says nothing will change until Obama is out of office.
Hot news flash for the GOP, nothing will change until the GOP finds the courage to fight back and it has nothing to do with Obama beyond his leadership of the democrat party faithful. Posted by: Nathen Filgrim at October 15, 2015 07:34 AM (n/TEt) Hot News Flash, Extra, Extra! Got news for ya Nathen F, nothing will change until the current GOPe losers are forced out on their petards! And yes, it does have to do with Obama, the left wing nuts that worship him, and the republican theives who currently find themselves comfortably ensconced in our House... The GOP says nothing will change until Obama is out of office.
Like CK was saying the other night, The Dems debate showed solidarity, and protecting each other. No lost voters. The GOP? In-fighting, always. It's brutal and does damage to the party. The party that I do not care about anymore, but none-the-less, they kick themselves in the nuts all of the time.
