The State Department announced on Tuesday that Victoria Nuland, the third highest-ranking U.S. diplomat, would step down. Her career in U.S. diplomacy is a case study in Beltway bureaucrats failing upward over their decades in Washington.

Independent Substack journalist Jordan Schachtel outlined "The Real Victoria Nuland" following the announcement of her resignation.

"From 2013 to 2015 Nuland's portfolio was dominated by Eastern Europe and Russia," Schachtel wrote. "She was the American point person for the infamous 'Maidan uprising' in Ukraine, which resulted in the ouster of the country's elected president. Critics of the Nuland-led campaign have labeled her activities in Ukraine as a successful coup effort in a foreign country."

Under President Biden, "Nuland appeared to telegraph the future bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline, declaring that it will 'not move forward' if Russia invades Ukraine," Schachtel added.

"Nuland has since acted to disrupt peace talks and advance the maximalist position of fighting the Ukraine-Russia war to the very last Ukrainian, ensuring that there is more reasons for Congress to allocate untold billions to the war effort," Schachtel reported.

Nikki Haley Suspends Campaign But Withholds Endorsement of Trump;
MSNBC Melts Down (Obviously)

Nikki Haley won two primaries: 90% Democrat DC and the most liberal state in the country, Vermont.

Her pointless Ego Ride is over. (For now.)

Although Haley acknowledged the long-obvious, that Trump would be the nominee, and "wish[ed] him well," she did not actually endorse him and seems to be keeping her options as open as her snizz.

"I sought the honor of being your president," Haley continued before noting that "being a private citizen" of the United States "is privilege enough."

"The time has now come to suspend my campaign," the former U.N. ambassador confirmed in her remarks, though she said she "will not stop using my voice" before acknowledging the reality that "Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee" heading into November's general election.

"I congratulate him and wish him well," Haley said of her former boss and, for the last few weeks, her lone opponent in the Republican primary.

"I wish anyone well who would be America's president," said Haley in remarks that did not see her offer even a half-hearted endorsement of Trump's candidacy. "Our country is too precious to let our differences divide us," she offered instead.

"It is now up to Donald Trump to earn the votes of those in our party and beyond," Haley continued of the Trump vs. Biden rematch taking shape ahead of November. "I hope he does that," she added.

"Our conservative cause badly needs more people," she emphasized, noting the importance of "bringing people in" rather than "turning them away" before Election Day.

[H]aley said she was sticking to her guns -- for now at least -- and taking a line from Margaret Thatcher to "never just follow the crowd" when it came to who she'd support for president. "Always make up your own mind," she added.

She definitely sounds like she's playing with the idea of running third party.

On MSNBC, Rachel Maddow urged Nikki Haley to continue campaigning -- noting that she doesn't have "another job" to take up her time. And when she was asked what she would be running for, Maddow introduced the idea of running third party, and said that people who run third party do not expect to be president (with a couple of exceptions), but run for "other reasons."

And what reasons would those be? Maddow urged Haley to keep running to keep NeverTrump voices relevant in the media, saying Haley might have the mission of "keeping legitimate, trusted Republican voices about Donald Trump in the mix while Donald Trump runs for president."

Trusted Republican voices? Trusted by Rachel Maddow and MSNBC?

My goodness, why didn't you say so?! Let's do whatever these "trusted voices" tell us to do!

Race-baiting MSNBC DEI hire Alex Wagner later claimed that "Evangelical Christians" are voting for Trump only due to "race" and then offered her opinion that they have always been motivated nigh-exclusively by "race."

Joy Reid almost jumped out of her stupid clown-wig in excitement when the topic of race was brought up -- she finally had something to talk about! Here, Joy Reid said that Republicans are lying when they say they're voting on the economy, because Joe Biden's economy is great and Republicans are just ignoring all of the "benefits they're getting economically from the president" in order to cast racist votes based on race against some races to do a racism.

In addition, Rachel Maddow looked into the camera and criticized her employer for the Newscrime of actually showing a presidential candidate give a speech after a major win. She continues insisting that Trump be completely deplatformed.

Congratulations Are in Order

For all of the criticism Nikki Haley has accrued thanks to her firm opposition to the base, pro-establishment positions and Party dealings, her achievements cannot be understated. Throughout her presidential campaign, she remained committed to her promise to deliver what the people don't want, but what the Party insiders very much do. Her efforts have been blessed with great success - even historic success. Haley can confidently wrap up her campaign, confident in the knowledge that she has done something that has never been done before.

As the talking heads this morning proclaimed while barely holding back their disappointment over the "Super Tuesday" results, Nikki Haley achieved an historic "First" (and not of the Sponge variety)! She is the first Republican woman to win a presidential primary. And not just one, she smashed the old record by winning two primaries! She won her native homeland of Washington, DC as well as a staggering 6.7% of the Super Tuesday states. Truly, an accomplishment for the ages.

Good morning, kids. We'll get to the mostly unsurprising Super Tuesday results, as well as a few intriguing political items from the political landscape in a moment, but first, as is my wont from time to time, another item has popped up that is reflective of the cancerous rot destroying our society. More to the point, it's a prime weapon in the strangulation of any and all voices of opposition to the repressive tyranny that is fundamentally transforming America as it was meant to be into the Leftist version of Ape City. Oddly enough, it just crossed my mind that given what I'm about to link, that could be construed as racist.

A St. Louis television station is under fire after an anchor “mistakenly” described minority homeowners using an “outdated, offensive and racist” term.

Television station KMOV issued an apology for using the term on Feb. 26 while previewing a story about racial bias on home appraisals, according to reports.

“Tonight, colored homeowners are sounding the alarm when it comes to undervalued home appraisals,” anchor Cory Stark, who is white, said on air.

JD Sosnoff, KMOV vice president and general manager, and Stark tried to do damage control over the apparent slip-up as criticism grew over the cringe remark.

“It was in an original script as ‘homeowners of color’ and was inadvertently changed and mistakenly read on air,” Sosnoff said, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The National Association of Black Journalists assailed the error, calling it “outdated, offensive and racist,” while noting St. Louis’ population is 43% black.

The organization said while there have been multiple apologies by the station, it wants employees retrained and wants KMOV to better recruit and retain black staffers.

Break in the action to note the disgusting, shameless Sharpton-Jackson "Justice Brothers" shakedown tactic and forcible Stalinist re-education brainwashing sessions for whitey. But wait, it gets better!

While St. Louis County NAACP President John Bowman condemned the incident, he doesn’t think there was offensive intent behind it. “Trust me, I’ve had enough experience dealing with people who intentionally show discrimination or racist behavior,” Bowman said, per the Post-Dispatch. “But I’ve interacted with Cory Stark, and at no time have I ever felt that about him.”

Well, that's mighty white of John Bowman, isn't it? But correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't NAACP stand for the National Association for the Advancement of COLORED People? A white anchorman gets reamed for saying "colored homeowners" instead of "homeowners of color." Pardon my stupidity but what's the freaking difference? I mean, really?!

And this race-hustling degenerate poseur Walter Smith Randolph from the NABJ flips his lid about how this incident somehow illustrates how anti-black racism is still to this day – 160 years after the Civil War, 60 years after the civil rights era, and 16 years after electing the first kinda-sorta black president – keeping y'all in chains. Why is there even a NABJ in the first place, let alone a Congressional Black Caucus or a Congressional Hispanic Caucus or any organization that divides people? Answer: it's the division, stupid.

The aforementioned difference is not in which words are allowed to be used and which aren't. It's WHO gets to decide which words are allowed to be used, context be damned. In this day and age, or more precisely in what should have been a more normal day and age, I'd never use the word "colored" or any racial epithet to describe someone's ethnicity, and certainly not as an epithet in and of itself.

But the wild overreaction to what this anchorman said is illustrative of both the weaponization of language for political repression as well as the prolonged campaign of brainwashing that for at least three generations have convinced minorities that they are perpetual victims of whites – specifically non Democrat-Leftists – that the nation they live in is irredeemably racist and illegitimate based on its supposed continuous history of repression of non-whites, and most dangerous of all, anything is permissible in the redress of this grievance which is in point of fact a blood libel that will lead to disaster.

In the walnut-sized braincase of the typical leftist, a white man using the phrase "colored homeowners" is tantamount to genocide. But the below item is not only acceptable but to be encouraged and celebrated:

So look who's out there representing the actual voice of the United States before international audiences in the agency known as U.S. Agency for Global Media, which oversees outlets like the Voice of America:

James 'J.R.' Reeves is the Chief Information Officer and IT Director for USAGM, the federal agency responsible for global media coverage. He has many posts online referring to white Americans as "snow roaches" and racists, as well as celebrating the idea that white Americans can become the minority in this country.

'Snow roaches'? I learn something new every day. . . The bottom line here is that this is a freak who hates more than half the country and whose positioning near the top of the leadership of the U.S.'s flagship international communications operation, its voice and public relations arm, is very much an insult in itself to the country. and an international embarrassment. . .

. . . According to National Review, the public outcry did get him suspended, though . . . which means, he'll be back, and the statement didn't say whether it was a paid or unpaid suspension.

I would think that the Voice of America has a larger reach than KMOV-TV. In any case, how does a rabid racialist like this Reeves fellow ever rise to a position of some responsibility and import at what allegedly is a crucial governmental agency such as the VOA? Meh, how does one explain Claudine Gay? Melanin content is just one factor. The other is political disposition.

As puerile as hurling epithets when one cannot articulate a cogent argument to refute an argument, there's always good old fashioned threats of violence. And this example is not even from someone with a walnut-sized braincase but that of a pea. Black-eyed or otherwise.

“First of all, I’m just gonna say this: If I see a black person walking around with a Trump mugshot, I’m gonna punch him in the face,” the basketball star said.

Trying to temper Barkley’s remarks, King responded, “You don’t mean that.”

“Oh, I mean that sincerely,” Barkley reacted, adding that if he’s charged for assault, he would bail himself out “and go celebrate.”

“First of all, if I was at that [conference], I would’ve got up and walked out,” he continued. “That was an insult to all black people. To compare black history, where we’ve been discriminated against, to his plight.”

Charles Barkley's net worth is about $60 million, and he makes about $10 million a year (he himself admitted to blowing millions in his degenerate gambler days). Did he make that picking cotton or tobacco? Or was he simply a house you-know-what for Mark Cuban? If that's being the victim of discrimination, I'll put myself in chains and sing "Old Man River" until my vocal chords snap.

This fucking brainwashed ingrate wouldn't know discrimination if it hit him in the face. Yet he is kind of right about one thing. Colored Americans of color have been discriminated and abused for generations – by Leftist Democrats who immiserate them for political gain. A lot of blacks perhaps may not see it that clearly. Yet. But they know for sure that under Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants they are suffering mightily and that when Trump was president, things had never been better. More of them employed and off the government welfare plantation than ever before.

And speaking of which, Trump won every state but Vermont yesterday and Biden lost American Samoa to a Bill Gates flunky.

As for blacks, I'd like to see Barkley try to have a discussion with Mark Robinson, who I hope and pray becomes the next governor of North Carolina. If he stays away from swamp influences, I predict he is going to go far. He is everything that Charles Barkley isn't.

Trump tells Fox News: "Get rid of Karl Rove."

Former President Trump on Tuesday implored Fox News to stop putting Karl Rove, a former top aide to President George W. Bush and a longtime political commentator, on its air.

In a Truth Social post, Trump also blasted political commentator Marc Thiessen, who frequently appears on Fox, calling him a "RINO Bush apologist."

"He was wrong about me in 2016, and in 2020 I got more votes than any sitting President in history," the former president said, then turning his ire on Rove.

"My record on Endorsements is unmatched by anyone, EVER! Put on people who understand what is going on in politics...And while you're at it, GET RID OF KARL ROVE!!!" Trump wrote.

Trump's record on endorsements is not good. He pads the number by counting the times he endorsed the uncontested incumbent in a safe seat. Well, obviously all of those "bets" pay off. The endorsements we care about are those in which there were several major candidates vying for the nod. And there, Trump has a bad record. He doesn't seem to care at all about a candidate's positions, except their position on kissing Trump's ass.

Let me give you an example: Remember when McConnell's pick for Jeff Sessions' replacement, the Purdue Pharmaceuticals-connected corporate jackass Luther Strange went up against Freedom Caucus member Mo Brooks for Alabama Senate?

Do you remember wondering why Trump decided to endorse "Big Luthor" over a strong conservative?

Well, it's because Mitch McConnell went through Mo Brooks' old statements and found him knocking Trump before he won the nomination in 2015-2016. McConnell showed these to Trump, and then Trump endorsed "Big Luthor."

And then the grassroots rebelled and voted for Roy Moore, who then lost to a Democrat.

Instead of endorsing a 95% ally, he endorsed someone who almost certainly hated his guts and opposed the entire MAGA agenda, like all of the corporate class does.

And then we lost the seat on top of it.

Trump's weakness is his deep insecurity and constant need for validation, which is easily exploitable.

That said, yes, Karl Rove should go. Marc Thiessen is in fact a Bushie liberal Republican and can go as well.

The WPATH Files: Leaked Internal Files of the World's Biggest Transgender "Medical" Group Reveals "Doctors" Making It Up As They Go Along, Basing "Science" on Activist Demands

I had no idea.

Whenever you hear someone claim that "the experts" all support transgender treatments for children, they almost certainly are referring to WPATH -- the World Professional Association for Transgender Health -- as "experts."

Other professional medical associations defer to these "expert" activists.

And yet WPATH's internal files, which include written discussions and a video, reveal that its members know they are creating victims and not getting "informed consent."

Victims include a 10-year-old girl, a 13-year-old developmentally delayed adolescent, and individuals suffering from schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses.

The injuries described in the Files include sterilization, loss of sexual function, liver tumors, and death.

WPATH members indicate repeatedly that they know that many children and their parents don't understand the effects that puberty blockers, hormones, and surgeries will have on their bodies. And yet, they continue to perform and advocate for gender medicine.

The WPATH Files prove that gender medicine is comprised of unregulated and pseudoscientific experiments on children, adolescents, and vulnerable adults and will go down as one of the worst medical scandals in history.

WPATH members resist efforts to make children and adolescents wait to have drugs and surgery.

A "16 y/o patient...found to have two liver masses... the likely offending agents were the hormones..."

The problem is that drugs can cause tumors, even, apparently, in people as young as 16 years old.

"To what degree... providers discuss actual rates of surgical complications... (e.g., pain...additional surgeries, necrotic tissue, infection, hematomas..."

Many young patients experiencing gender distress do not appear to understand that they may suffer serious consequences from long-term hormone use and genital surgery.

"I feel the best time for surgery in the U.S. is the summer before their last year of high school."

Despite the widespread and growing expression of concern within the WPATH Files over the negative side effects of gender medicine, WPATH members urge that irreversible surgeries take place when adolescents are just 16 or 17 years old.

"Most of the kids are nowhere in any kind of brain space to really talk about it seriously."

Later in the files, doctors talk about patients with untreated dissociative identity disorder -- multiple personality disorder, they used to call it -- and untreated schizophrenia.

These people are not capable of providing informed consent for these operations. Furthermore, their obvious mental illnesses should be treated first, before anyone even considers lopping off their breasts and penises as a "treatment."

But instead, they went right ahead with drugs and The Chop.

The unusual program, kept from the public, involved at least 320,000 illegal immigrants the administration admits are "inadmissible" immigrants, far more than previously reported.

Despite facing a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit from the Center for Immigration Studies, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection has refused to identify the 43 airports it is dumping immigrants at after direct flights from Latin America.

"While large immigrant-receiving cities and media lay blame for the influx on Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott's busing program, CBP has withheld from the Center -- and apparently will not disclose -- the names of the 43 U.S. airports that have received 320,000 inadmissible aliens from January through December 2023, nor the foreign airports from which they departed," a CIS report shared with Secrets said.

Another Witness Comes Forward, Alleging That Terrence Bradley Freely Admitted His Own Personal Knowledge of the Details and Start Date of the Fani-Sweetdick Affair

I'm starting to think that Judge McAfee will have to re-open evidence. We now have two witnesses alleging that Terrence Bradley committed perjury when he claimed he could not remember a single detail about the Fani-Sweetdick PayPig Arrangement.

In addition, we have the cellphone records showing that Fani and Sweetdick exchanged 12,000 sexts in a few months. Oh, I mean texts -- no, scratch that, no one sends texts in such a frantic manner unless they're talking about The One Thing.

And those cellphone records also show Sweetdick's phone rocking up into Fani's neighborhood. Two records that we know about showing him coming in for a late night bootycall, coming into Fani's neighborhood around midnight and then leaving to slink back home at around 5 am.

Also, he sent Fani a text after he arrived back home -- the typical "got home, don't worry about me" text. And for those who say "maybe he went somewhere else i Fani Willis' neighborhood" -- weird then that he was texting her before the late night bootycall, and after it, but the texts to Fani stopped when he was, apparently, in her condo.

How can the judge not re-open evidence? People are coming out of the woodwork now to expose the rampant coordinated perjury and conspiracy to commit fraud on the court.

This newest proffer is from a law professor who says that Bradley freely offered details of the Fani-Sweetdick affair, and seemingly had no problem remembering details when he wasn't under oath. He says that Bradley stated, from his own personal knowledge, that the affair began in 2019.

And he offered a key detail: Fani gave Sweetdick a garage door opener allowing him to park in Fani's garage, if you know what I mean. And what I mean here is that he was literally parking in her literal garage.

But sure, he was just a member of her "kitchen cabinet."

I'm sure her Black Panther father will testify that it's just a black thing that you give out your garage door opener to coworkers and you're a racist for not already knowing that.

Material Witness Will Testify -- If Allowed -- That Fani Willis Engaged In Witness Tampering With Sweetdick's Fren and Lawyer Terrence Bradley

I covered this yesterday but the report I saw did not disclose that Fani Willis was warning Terrence Bradley about talking about the affair itself. The sense I got from the report I linked was that she was telling people not to talk about how much money she was paying her Oily Bohunk.

But indeed, the witness says she overheard a phone call in which District Attorney Fani Willis instructed Terrence Bradley to lie to any investigators or lawyers who asked about the affair, telling him, in a September 2023 phone call, "They are coming after us. You don't need to talk to them about anything about us."

Yeager will apparently also testify that Willis lied about the start of her affair with Nathan Wade based on her conversations with Bradley, but that might be secondary at this point. If Yeager directly witnessed Willis telling Bradley not to talk to investigators for the defense in the case, that would arguably mean witness tampering by the prosecuting office. The triggering event was contemporaneous reporting on the massive amount of fees Willis had already paid Wade in the case ($650,000), but the sudden interest on those payments were bound to start having investigators probing why Willis authorized such an enormous amount of fees to an attorney who'd never tried a felony case in his career. If the filing is on the level, it indicates that Willis was already worried about having their sexual relationship exposed.

Willis may argue in opposition to Schaefer's filing that Bradley wasn't material to the case and the motivation was to simply prevent personal embarrassment, but this wasn't the only case involved. Don't forget that Wade had filed for his divorce nearly two years prior to September 2023. By the point of this alleged call, Wade had dragged out discovery for so long that he'd get cited for contempt shortly after this. If the Willis-Wade affair began before Wade filed for divorce in November 2021 -- within a day of being hired by Willis for the RICO case -- then that would be material to the divorce case and Joycelyn Wade's counter-claims. And by that time, Mrs. Wade and her attorney had been trying to prove her husband's infidelity for some time. Telling Bradley to shut up may have been Willis' attempt to interfere in the divorce proceeding on Wade's behalf.

Well, I mean, it was obviously also intended to stop the Trump co-defendants from finding out about the affair and the conflict of interest. She was engaged in trying to impose the rule of omerta on anyone who knew about her little arrangement with Sweetdick. None of the Trump co-defendants were asking about this in September 2023, but Fani Willis knew that if word got out they sure would start asking about it.

And of course word did get out. Terrence Bradley himself told Ashleigh Merchant about the affair, and one presumes she heard it from someone else who was afraid of Fani Willis' retribution so did not want to be a witness, but offered up Terrence Bradley as another witness. And indeed Terrence Bradley was afraid of Fani Willis -- when asked if other people knew about the affair and would sign a statement confirming it, Bradley responded, He responded: "No... no one would freely burn that bridge." Bradley was only talking about it in secrecy and with the understanding that he would never be called as a witness -- and when he was called as a witness, he suddenly had a bad case of sudden onset amnesia, like the witness against the Corleones in Godfather Part II.

The Morning Rant: Minimalist Edition

The rapidly evolving trend within the Democrat party apparatus is to reward loyalty with ever increasing responsibility, power, and graft/wealth. Notice the word "loyalty." Not competence. Not skill. Government has never been particularly competent or efficient; it's almost impossible without the pressures of a free market. But the catastrophic incompetency and failure that is becoming the norm seems to be driven by total rejection of even basic knowledge of the issues, and embracing the drive toward ideological purity and party loyalty.

I am not suggesting that this is new...a casual audit of most Democrat-run cities will show how incompetent loyalists can be. And the federal government is obviously not immune from this longstanding desire to reward apparatchiks. But the very public incompetence seems to be a relatively new thing.

California Demolished Dam to Save Salmon, Killed the Salmon Instead

Hundreds of thousands of young salmon are believed to have died this week at the site of a historic dam removal project on the Klamath River, after an effort to restore salmon runs on the newly unconstrained river went awry, the Chronicle has learned.

The dead chinook salmon were among the first hatchery fish released on the Klamath since four hydroelectric dams were breached near the California-Oregon border, to allow the river to flow freely again and ultimately help fish flourish.

ATF Chief Tells CBS He's Willing To Skirt Laws To Ban Guns He Doesn't Even Know How To Use

When the interview shifted to a demonstration featuring a table of unloaded firearms, Dettelbach tried his best to make the case for more regulation of law-abiding Americans' top self-defense option. Even with the help of one of the ATF's "leading experts," however, Dettelbach failed to demonstrate knowledge of even the most basic firearm anatomy such as the difference between a clip and a magazine.

Acting AFT division chief Chris Bort, the “expert” present for the demonstration, also struggled to disassemble a pistol in an attempt to show how allegedly easily Americans can swap firearm frames. Bort is acting head of the ATF’s Firearms Ammunition Technology Division.

“Can’t get this one apart,” he mumbled as Dettelbach complained that the ATF is barred from regulating most gun parts outside of frames and receivers.

Field stripping a Glock is not the most complex mechanical operation, and my bet is that with about 60 seconds of instruction, most people will be able to do it. Yet these dangerous fools are so detached from the reality of their positions that they don't have the most basic knowledge, yet are comfortable making asses of themselves...in public.

Because it doesn't matter. They are not being judged on the quality of their work; they are being judged by their slavish adherence to the dominant paradigm: GUNS BAD!

And they aren't even close to the worst! Mayorkas and Buttigieg are even dumber and more reflexively ideological!

The Morning Report — 3/5/24

Good morning, kids. Obviously the big story this morning continues to be the fallout from SCOTUS 9-0 evisceration of Colorado's attempt at unilaterally and illegally removing Donald Trump from the ballot.

But before getting to that, there always seems to be at least one link that gets lost in the sauce of the big stories of the day as well as act as a kind of barometer for where we are as a society. Yet again, and as befitting of a place that often is a trendsetter for the rest of the country, this one comes out of the Democratic People's Republic of California:

Michael Hart of San Diego was arrested under the American Innovation and Manufacturing Act of 2020, which prohibits the importation of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) without proper permits from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

HFCs are potent greenhouse gases commonly found in refrigerators and air conditioners, building insulation, fire extinguishing systems, and aerosols. They can be hundreds to thousands of times more potent than carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere, exacerbating the climate crisis.

Stop the presses. Although this link is to Breitbart, evidently whoever the editor is over there just decided to cut and paste this bilge directly from AFP, Agence France Press. There is no "climate crisis" (certainly not one caused by man) and the physics of our planet's atmosphere is such that there is no way there will ever be a so-called "runaway greenhouse effect" that turns us into Venus in the next billion years or so, let alone the next 50. Now that you can see the shameless propaganda in the way the "journalist" is phrasing the story, we return to the action.

According to the Department of Justice, Hart purchased refrigerants in Mexico and smuggled them into the United States in his vehicle, hidden under a tarp and tools.

He then posted the items for sale on OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace and other sites, selling them on for a profit.

For profit? Oh the humanity! Making a profit is the equivalent of genocide!

“The illegal smuggling of hydrofluorocarbons … undermines international efforts to combat climate change under the Kigali Amendment to the Montreal Protocol,” said David Uhlmann of the EPA, referring to an agreement the United States, along with most countries, has signed. It calls to phase out the super pollutants by 80-85 percent by 2047.

The indictment also alleges Hart imported HCFC 22, an ozone-depleting substance regulated under the Clean Air Act. Mexico as a developing country has a longer timetable for phasing out such pollutants than the United States as a developed country.

So, some poor schlub gets nailed for smuggling freon into the US while millions of illiterate peasants, a not insignificant number of them being murderers, rapists, human traffickers, drug traffickers, possible terrorists, saboteurs from our worst enemies, or just flat out welfare sponges and disease-carriers get the red carpet and a ticker tape parade from the Biden junta.

I don't give a shit what the so-called "experts" tell us about freon, insofar as it causes a hole in the ozone layer. These are the same "experts" who in 1975 said Manhattan would be buried under a 500-foot deep glacier by the year 2000. The same "experts" who then told us in 2000 that Manhattan and the entire US coast would be submerged under 200 feet of water by the year 2015.

The same "experts" who claimed COVID was a natural mutation and could only be stopped by lockdowns, masks and repeated doses of a vaccine that, combined with the banning of things like ivermectin and HCQ, has actually killed more people by orders of magnitude than the virus itself – which we now know was created in a Chi-Com lab with the active participation and funding of Dr. Anthony Fauci. Speaking of mini-Mengele . . .

Breaking news from 2020: "It’s Official: We Can Pretty Much Treat Covid Like the Flu Now." What do you mean "now," white man? From the Wall Street Journal:

A case of Covid no longer means isolating for five days, according to the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released Friday. It’s the latest sign of the virus’s normalization four years after it upended our lives. You should now follow the same precautions with Covid as you take with the flu, according to new guidelines from the CDC. That means staying home until you’ve gone a day with no fever and symptoms start to improve. Take other precautions for the next five days, including wearing a mask and limiting close contact with others. Those are the same steps the CDC recommends for other respiratory viruses.

At what point have we had enough from these people? As evident practically from the start, the malignant Covid hoax -- part of a series of scarifying hoaxes perpetrated by the Left and its pet media starting in early 2016 as part of the "resistance" against the election of Donald Trump -- was (as we say in Ireland) a load of bollocks. . .

. . . The Malevolent Midget is gone now, pulling down his handsome pension for his "service," but the evil that he did lives on after him. Should Trump actually overcome the forces arrayed against him and actually pull a Grover Cleveland and get re-elected to the office from which a "fortified" election forcibly ejected him in 2020, a just universe would allow him to deal out some well-deserved payback for the forces behind the Russia Hoax, the Climate-Change Hoax, and the Covid Hoax, not to mention the abrogation of American sovereignty at the southern (and northern) borders, the collapse of the American military into a sob-sisterhood of feminist resentment and gay and "transsexual" triumphalism, and all the other ills currently attendant upon these United States. . .

. . . Hoaxes like these will never end until you do something about it. They will continue to pile on "catastrophe" after "catastrophe," demanding that we do something about it right now, including changing some of our most fundamental laws and principles in order to combat a non-existent "threat." The only thing these people understand is power. Not logic, argument, evidence, moral suasion. And the only way to respond to them is with greater power.

And the same "experts" who claim all of this are telling us that the mass invasion of unvetted and unassimilated foreigners into the US is good for the economy and our society.

Even if freon really isn't good for the ozone layer, given all of the outright lies our government and more alarmingly, science which is fully now in service to government have tried and in some cases succeeded in selling us (for our own good, of course!), the only thing that's been destroyed is trust in the institutions we thought were there to protect our safety, security and freedom.

Yeah, color me skeptical.

Friend and friend of the blog Michael Walsh nails it above. Should Trump by some miracle actually defeat all the forces of tyranny still arrayed against him, the supposed "retribution" and "revenge" he would or should visit upon those who stomped all over our freedoms, rigged an election and chucked scores of people in prison over a faked "insurrection" would be more than justified. A terrible swift sword of justice is indeed needed now more than ever. The problem is, the system is so utterly corrupted that that outcome is seriously in doubt.

And that brings us conveniently back to yesterday's 9-0 SCOTUS decision. While for sure it's a huge win, certainly for Trump but more crucially the scintilla of the rule of law in what's left of our nation, the question is, given the ideological divide (and the moral vacuity/turpitude of at least one member in particular of that body) is this a one-off?

The things to note in all of this is the fact that a) Trump was never convicted of let alone indicted and tried for fomenting an insurrection and b) the alleged "insurrection" that happened on 1/6/21 was anything but. Not one person who entered the Capitol was armed and in fact they were allowed into the building and even escorted all over by Capitol PD. The worst thing anyone did was put their feet up on Malig-Nancy Pelosi's desk and leave her a rude Post-It note on her in box.

On the other hand, the calls for violence were from FBI/DOJ plants like Ray Epps and BLM cadre in a MAGA hat William Sullivan, while Ashli Babbit was murdered by Capitol Cop Michael Byrd and Roseanne Boyland beaten to death by some of his colleagues. And even before that happened, Donald Trump was about a mile away calling for people to peacefully leave the area and go home.

Some insurrection. And as I said, there are dozens of people still languishing in the Garland Archipelago for doing nothing more than being at a rally and exercising their right of free speech. A right that evidently they didn't know no longer existed at that time. But that said, there are things brewing that, on top of the SCOTUS decision, have an even larger salutary effect, both on Trump and the body politic.

On Friday, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (i.e. the “D.C. Circuit” reversed a federal trial-level judge’s determination that January 6 Defendant Larry Brock had “substantially interfered with administration of justice.” That trial-level determination had significantly enhanced Brock’s prison sentence for felony obstruction of an official proceeding (i.e. Congress’ January 6, 2021 certification of the 2020 Presidential election) under 18 U.S. Code Section 1512(c)(2). The D.C. Circuit ordered resentencing. Brock, a 1989 graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy, A-10 Warthog pilot, and retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with 29 years of Air Force service, had been sentenced to 24 months’ imprisonment in a federal penitentiary. . .

. . . The effect of the D.C. Circuit’s decision is to force the trail judge, in this case most likely still Judge Bates, to resentence Brock without the 3-level sentencing enhancement (“we vacate Brock’s sentence for his Section 1512(c)(2) conviction and remand to the district court for resentencing without the application of Section 2J1.2(b)(2)’s sentencing enhancement”, making his new offense level 14, not 17. Crossing offense level 14 with Criminal History Category I in the 2021 U.S.S.G. Sentencing Table, you find a Guideline Sentencing Range of 15-21 months, which Brock’s resentencing judge will almost certainly stick to. This will result in a sentence reduction of 3-9 months’ imprisonment for Brock, and since Brock has a federal prison release date of December 3, 2024, he could be released as soon as his resentencing judge conducts the resentencing!

The D.C. Circuit’s decision could also, as the Daily Caller suggested (without explanation as to why), lead to sentence reductions for other J6 defendants as well. That is because the D.C. Circuit’s Order is now binding on all D.C. federal trial courts, and any J6 defendant who has been sentenced with the 3-level offense level sentencing enhancement for “substantial interference with the administration of justice,” which there are several of, can move for a sentence reduction, which the sentencing court is bound to honor. And, any J6 defendants not yet sentenced cannot have the 3-level enhancement applied to their sentencing. In all cases, the sentencing reduction will not necessary be 3-9 months, as it was for Brock, because other defendants might have other crimes of conviction or serious criminal histories; it all depends on where on the Sentencing Table those defendants fall. But they will be significant in each case, as they are here.

I'm no F. Lee Bailey but if the sentencing reductions are significant, does that also not carry with it perhaps a reclassification of the charges/crimes from insurrection down to perhaps mere trespassing? And given the fact that we know from witness testimony and over 44,000 hours of videotape from the scene that at no point was anyone acting in a violent or out of control manner (the killers of Babbitt and Boyland notwithstanding) will we finally be able to completely trash the definition of what happened that day as an insurrection, and even a riot in the first place?

And should these reductions and redefinitions downward occur, what does that do to all the charges leveled at Trump from Jack Smith?

I wouldn't bet on it.

Center for Renewing America Senior Fellow and former Trump official Jeff Clark celebrated the ruling in exclusive comments to PJ Media. As PJ Media’s Matt Margolis reported, the Supreme Court voted unanimously on Monday to permit GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump to remain on the Colorado state ballot. This decision reversed a ruling from a lower court. Leftists had a royal meltdown at this SCOTUS refusal to rig the 2024 election, mourning that allowing a democratic election is an attack on democracy (that’s Democrat logic for you). But others see the ruling as a historic achievement for our Republic as the Founders established it.

Jeff Clark is one such person. “President Trump scored one for the history books today — a victory not just to keep himself on state ballots, but also a win for our system of federalism, better marking out the lines between federal and state authority,” he said. Trump isn’t the only target; all citizens who want to have the power to choose their own leaders should be concerned. . .

. . . Furthermore, Clark addressed Rep. Jamie Raskin’s (D-MD) announcement the Democrats are working on federal legislation to kick Trump off ballots. “That didn’t take long,” Clark commented. “At some level, you have to admire that Marxists like Raskin never give up. The Republican Party ranks are very thin on members this persistent.” If only Republican congressmen were as persistent in achieving justice and enforcing laws as the Democrats are in violating the Constitution to achieve their nefarious goals.

Ah yes. Cancer's answer to cancer, Jamie Raskin and his ilk are cooking up what amounts to a bill of attainder. Well, you have to destroy democracy if you want to save Democrats, er, democracy.

For now, in a GOP House, the bill is mostly virtue signaling, but tellingly Raskin is not so much trying to define insurrection as trying to define J6 as an insurrection. It’s the typical end run around the process of defining the thing because otherwise Democrat BLMers might fall afoul of it.

The Raskin bill conveniently defines J6 as an insurrection and carefully defines the term so as to specifically apply it to Trump. It does not however define what an insurrection is making the whole exercise into a bill that specifically exists to block a particular candidate from being able to take office on grounds that would be unlikely to apply to his own party. Does that raise some major banana republic issues? Obviously.

Still, has Raskin considered what kind of can of worms he’s opening here?

“An individual described in this subsection is an individual who has engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or has given aid or comfort to the enemies of the United States.”

Forget BLM for a moment. Giving aid or comfort to America’s enemies would block nearly every Democrat from taking or holding office. Pass a resolution declaring that funding Iran or any other terror group was an example of providing aid or comfort to America’s enemies and the party can get started.

Evil never rests. And the fact that our side is at best dodgy and at worst collaborationist, we're not out of the woods yet. Not by a long shot. Still, miracles do happen.
