Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth (Eat It, Bitch McConnell) Reverses Insubordinate Malicious Compliance from Woke Air Force Official

"Malicious compliance" is a noted pathology in the workplace and in the military (where I think the term originated). The term describes the tactic used by insubordinate or just malevolent underlings who deliberately pervert the plain meaning of an order either because they don't like the order or just want to harm the organization that pays them, but don't want to risk open insubordination. They give the order a twisted "interpretation" in order to make the organization look bad and to create a backlash against the order and the person giving the order.

A "former intel officer" posted advice in how to engage in illegal insubordination against the duly-elected chief executive, instructing military personnel to violate the Commander-in-Chief's orders while "leaving no trace."

She calls malicious compliance "strategic interpretation."

All of these tactics are just cause for firing.

insubordinationinstructions.jpg

The Air Force just did this with respect to Trump's order to end DEI cult teachings in the government. The Air Force engaged in malicious compliance to embarrass Trump and force him to keep DEI by claiming that the order meant that the Air Force could no longer teach about the Tuskegee Airmen.

Ron DeSantis noted that that's what insubordinate officials did in Florida when he instructed schools to stop teaching kindergarteners about sex and "gender." The officials began banning classics like Little Women, claiming that that's how they read the order.

Then they immediately called a reporter to tell them about their own decision to ban Little Women, shrieking, "Look at this outrage! Ron DeSantis forced me to censor Little Women! Won't someone think of the children!"

Pete Hegseth has now reversed this malicious compliance insubordination.

But that's not enough. The people involved need to be fired. We only have four years of Trump, and we cannot have every single order subverted, undermined, and twisted by hardcore partisan staffers in government -- especially in our military.

Firings, and maybe mass-firings, are necessary.

Oh, No! Trump Prepping Exec Order to Ban Transgenders from Military

What will the military do without its most unreliable, most hospitalized, and most drug-dependent "warriors"?

On Monday, President Trump is expected to sign two sweeping executive orders targeting military policies on transgender service members and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs.

Key Details:

Trump is expected to bar transgender service in the U.S. military, which goes beyond his 2017 policy by prohibiting thousands from serving due to concerns over "mental and physical readiness." It outlines restrictions on pronouns, gender identity standards, and deployment capabilities for those undergoing gender transition.

A second executive order will target DEI programs, banning race- or sex-based preferences across the Department of Defense (DOD) and Homeland Security. It mandates the removal of DEI bureaucracies and curricula in U.S. Service Academies promoting "radical gender ideologies."

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, narrowly confirmed by the Senate, will be tasked with implementing these directives, including prioritizing "readiness, lethality, and cohesion" and reviewing personnel aligned with DEI initiatives.

Trump is also preparing to reinstate all troops dismissed due to vaccine rejection and pay them their back pay.

President Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to issue an executive order to reinstate military service members who were discharged for refusing the COVID-19 vaccine. The anticipated order would restore the rank, back pay, and benefits of over 8,000 troops who were dismissed under the Biden administration's vaccine mandate.

Key Details:

The expected executive order would direct the Secretary of Defense to reinstate service members, both active and reserve, who were discharged for declining the COVID-19 vaccine.

According to a White House fact sheet, reinstated members would regain their previous rank and receive back pay and benefits.

Between 2021 and 2023, more than 8,000 troops were dismissed under the Biden administration's vaccine mandate. Following the mandate's repeal in 2023, only 43 of those discharged opted to return to service.

It is absolutely remarkable. Trump is going down his entire checklist of "Promises Made" and turning them into "Promises Kept" in his first week as president. I don't think any other president in history has done this before. The media and the Democrats and the Deep State -- but I repeat myself thrice -- are screaming, and he Just. Doesn't. Give a shit.

CIA Director Ratcliffe Releases Suppressed CIA Report: Yes, Covid Was Created in the Wuhan Lab

They knew, and they lied. Biden knew, and he suppressed the report.

The media knew, and they lied.

They all knew. They all lied.

Please believe the next lies they have upcoming!

It took five years, but the Central Intelligence Agency has finally come around to thinking the likeliest source of the Covid-19 virus was a lab in Wuhan, China. That was the news this weekend after new CIA director John Ratcliffe released an agency assessment that the Biden Administration had declined to make public.

"I had the opportunity on my first day to make public an assessment that actually took place in the Biden Administration. So it can't be accused of being political," Mr. Ratcliffe told Fox News. He said the CIA "has assessed that the most likely cause of this pandemic that has wrought so much devastation around the world was because of a lab-related incident in Wuhan. And so we will continue to investigate that moving forward.''

The agency has "low confidence" in its judgment, but that's still a switch from its previous belief that Covid likely had natural causes. The Wuhan Institute of Virology origin was always the Occam's razor explanation given that the virus first appeared in, well, Wuhan.

Regime comms like NBC are really pushing the "low confidence" of this finding, instead of the seismic revelation that Biden and the CIA (and NBC) have lied to us for five horrible years.

CIA shifts assessment on Covid origins, saying lab leak likely caused outbreak

The agency said that it has "low confidence" in its judgment and that it would continue evaluating new intelligence reporting.

It was all a lie, and the CIA -- supposedly created to inform America about foreign threats -- lied to cover up China's complicity as well as the ultimate guilt of high-ranking US officials like Dr. Anthony Fauchenstein.

For years, scientists, government officials, and journalists called the idea that Covid-19 leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China a "conspiracy theory." The lab leak hypothesis, they claimed, was "xenophobic," "racist," "destructive," "prejudiced," and "thoroughly debunked." When Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton said in January 2020, "We still don't know where the coronavirus originated," the media swooped in to characterize his statements as "fringe." Cotton was "playing a dangerous game," said CNN. He was acting "Just like the Soviet propagandists who tried to convince the world that the CIA invented AIDS," tweeted Atlantic staff writer Anne Applebaum.

But now the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has concluded that Covid-19 most likely emerged from a lab leak in Wuhan, an agency spokesman said in a statement on Saturday.

While many Americans have long thought that the Covid virus escaped from a lab, the CIA's new assessment is significant since it confirms that it illegally withheld crucial information from the public. This admission should fuel demands for greater government transparency on a range of other issues, including the Russiagate hoax, the Hunter Biden laptop, and files on the deaths of JFK, RFK, and Jeffrey Epstein.

The CIA's assessment was based on analysts' review of existing information, not new information, sources told NBC News and the Wall Street Journal.

Former director William Burns directed the agency to take a position, reported the Wall Street Journal, and the analysis was published internally before Trump took office. By keeping this judgment classified, the CIA and the Biden administration violated the Covid-19 Origin Act of 2023, which mandated the declassification of all information related to potential links between the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) and Covid origins.

The CIA's newly released judgment lends further credence to our reporting on the cover-up of Covid origins. As most mainstream news outlets ignored or denied the evidence for a lab leak, Public and Racket were the first to report that, according to US government sources, the Covid patients zero worked at WIV and conducted gain-of-function experiments on SARS-like coronaviruses there.

A months-long investigation by Public and Racket last year revealed that Dr. Anthony Fauci, then director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), visited CIA headquarters to influence its review of Covid origins. What's more, Public and Racket were first to obtain hundreds of Slack messages and emails from the authors of the highly influential "Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2" paper. The authors, who dismissed the lab leak theory in their paper, initially believed the virus had escaped from WIV. They abandoned the lab leak theory, our reporting found, under pressure from "higher ups."

This is not the end of the controversy. Fauci claimed that when he heard about a new pneumonia in China, his mind went to the wet market. His email records, however, suggest that the opposite was true. In late January 2020, he and other scientists scrambled to address what they believed was a likely lab origin.

According to a whistleblower, Fauci influenced the CIA to alter its conclusions. Six out of seven CIA analysts had determined that a lab leak was most likely. But after the intervention of senior agency personnel, the CIA changed its assessment to "unknown." After this, the whistleblower said, the agency gave the analysts "Exceptional Performance Awards," which came with cash bonuses.

The CIA whistleblower claims that Fauci pushed the controversial "Proximal Origin" paper, which he had "prompted" and approved, at the CIA, as well as in meetings at the State Department and White House. This was particularly troubling given Fauci's conflicts of interest. He knew of ties between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and WIV by January 27, 2020, and he was aware that NIAID had funded research at the Wuhan lab through the nonprofit EcoHealth Alliance.

Fauci was likely not the only factor behind the CIA's cover-up. Sources told Public and Racket that the CIA may have been "conflicted" in its assessment of Covid origins because it did not want to compromise investigations into the Wuhan lab that predated Covid. This could explain why the FBI and the Department of Energy were willing to publicly conclude that a lab leak was likely, while the CIA manipulated, denied, and hid its own assessment.

Every real reporter should be demanding to know why the CIA suppressed this report and whether it was Biden (or one of his "aides" actually running the country) who ordered this suppression.

But of course it will just be the same three people.

"I Don't Really Care, Margaret"

Happy Monday! What a newsy weekend.

Vance went on propaganda node CBS' propaganda show and talked to queen of propaganda Margaret Brennan.

She attempted a Martha Raddatz-style objection. Raddatz, of course, objected to Vance saying that Tren de Aragua had taken over apartment buildings. "Only a few," she said, as if this were some crushing point.

Below, propagandist Margaret Brennan, who disgraced herself at the Trump-Harris debate with her constant pushing of leftwing talking points and false "fact" checks, attempts to argue that an immigrant caught planning a terrorist attack shouldn't be deported because we don't know if he was radicalized before he came to America or, having come here, decided then that he hated American so much he wanted to inflict a mass murder on them.

"I don't really care, Margaret," Vance informs her. "I don't want that person in my country and I think most Americans agree with me."

NEW: JD Vance continuously shuts down CBS News' Margaret Brennan after she kept arguing in favor of illegal immigration.

I could watch this all day.

Vance: We absolutely cannot unleash thousands of unvetted people into our country.

Brennan: These people are vetted.

Vance: Just like the guy who planned a terrorist attack in Oklahoma a few months ago? He was allegedly properly vetted...

Brennan: Uh...

Vance: I don't want my children to share a neighborhood with people who are not properly vetted...

Brennan: It wasn't clear if he was radicalized when he got here or while he was living here...

Vance: I don't really care, Margaret.

It's only a few Islamic immigrants who scheme to inflict mass casualty events on American citizens! We can absorb a few hundred terrorism deaths!

THE MORNING RANT: Additional Executive Orders to Put Before President Trump

Trump Exec Order and Gas Can.JPG

The cavalcade of Executive Orders being signed by Donald Trump, along with the personnel upheaval he is inflicting on the bureaucracy, has made the past seven days the most politically extraordinary week I’ve ever seen.

Ronald Reagan’s first 100 days as President can’t hold a candle to Trump’s first 100 hours of this term. Of course, Reagan took office in the era when overhauling government required laws to be passed by Congress. But President Obama famously arrogated lawmaking powers unto himself, because he had “a pen and a phone.” Congress has also long since outsourced its lawmaking powers to the federal bureaucracy, and since the Chief Executive (President Trump) is head of the Executive Branch bureaucracy, here we are.

As magical as the past week has been, President Trump will continue to have his all-powerful sharpie pen and phone for 207 more weeks, so let’s keep the Executive Orders coming!

Below are some additional Executive Orders that I’d like to see, which haven’t happened yet to my knowledge.

Gas Cans: Repeal the EPA regulations that have rendered gas cans inoperable. Restore the freedom to manufacture and purchase traditional gas cans with vents.

Corporate Average Fuel Economy: Terminate all automotive Corporate Average Fuel Economy (“CAFE” regulations. Manufacturers and consumers will find the right balance between size, features, and gas mileage. Ironically (but consistent with government incompetence), the CAFE laws had the real-world effect of eliminating small pickups trucks.

Regulatory Sunset: Declare a sunset date in the near future (perhaps 12/31/2025) for every federal regulation not specifically codified into a law passed by Congress or already eliminated / modified by an Executive Order from President Trump. If the federal agencies want the existing regulations extended further, they would need President Trump to attach his signature. If Congress doesn’t like this, then they can pass actual laws.

PBS & NPR: Impound all funding to the Corporation for Public Broadcasting for violating its charter, which states that, “The Corporation may not contribute to or otherwise support any political party or candidate for elective public office.” NPR & PBS are now quite openly propaganda arms of the Democrat Party.

NGOs: Impound all funding to domestic non-governmental organizations, and permanently ban the State Department from funding any foreign NGOs. There is no reason for the US State Department (and US taxpayers) to be funding LGBT inclusion activities for Bulgarian youths.

United Nations: Defund the UN, which is an anti-semitic, anti-American, terrorist-enabling organization. (A UN facility was apparently used by Hamas to hold the Israeli hostages who were just released.) Related – strip all foreign UN staff and delegates of any privileges, immunities, and special perks.

Federal Pensions: Move all federal employees from pensions to 401ks.

Student Loans: Mandate that henceforth, any student loan originated by a university for the benefit of that university is fully guaranteed by that university. If President Biden had the authority to unilaterally waive repayment of student loans, then President Trump has the authority to unilaterally require a university’s guaranty on student loans going forward.

NOAA’s Corrupted Temperature Records: Restore all historic NOAA temperature records to their original readings before they were retroactively adjusted by corrupt climate scientist for the purpose of artificially creating a record showing a warming trend.

NOAA’s Ghost Stations: Prohibit NOAA from using “readings” from ghost stations. It’s beyond absurd, but NOAA is currently incorporating temperature readings from hundreds of “Ghost stations.” These stations don’t even exist any longer, so NOAA just fabricates an estimated temperature and incorporates it into their data base, which then shows a warming trend.

EPA Regulations on New Semi-Trucks: Terminate the EPA regulations to take effect for 2027 year-model semi-trucks. The manufactures have been ordered to implement new mass-market technologies that are untested and still somewhat hypothetical. The EPA might as well have ordered them to spin straw into gold.

Woke Capital: Prohibit investment management firms (BlackRock, State Street, etc) from casting shareholder proxy votes to advance a political agenda at the expense of its fiduciary responsibilities. Include punitive personal penalties for those investment fund executives who, as custodian of investors’ funds, use them for ulterior purposes. Black Rock and State Street executives should fear being lumped in with Enron executives in the public consciousness. They should also fear going to jail for fiduciary misconduct.

Too Big to Fail: Order that any bank or financial services company that is “too big to fail” be broken up into smaller companies that are not too big to fail.

This is just a quick list I was able to jot down, but with a President seeking to make generational change via the power given him with Executive Orders, let’s keep the momentum going!

What are some other Executive Orders you’d like to see issued by President Trump?

The Morning Report — 1/27/25

PritzkerFlies.jpg

Good morning kids. It's been one hell of a week, hasn't it? One non-stolen election where for the first time in my lifetime it really seems as if we at a minimum will slam on the brakes and perhaps even have a shot at throwing the crazy train of America's 200-year swan dive towards dissolution into reverse. Much as I loved and appreciated the Ronald Reagan years, it was because he at least halted the incompetence and ineptitude of Jimmy Carter while engendering a sustained economic boom time. And yet, we back slid for a generation. Yes, "it's the economy, stupid" but so much more goes into our security, sanity and lives that we collectively let slip away beginning with the cultural rot that took hold in the 60s and metastasized right up until the present day. Despite that and the brainwashing of several generations of Americans to hate their heritage, country and even themselves,

Somehow, some way, a very large swathe of the citizenry, across generational and cultural/racial divides have taken a good look around and decided that what they are living through and witnessing is just not right. Maybe that explains in a profound way why Trump won and maybe more importantly why Chlamydia dip Harris and the Dems Lost. Even with that, my glass half empty side still reflects why I'm not so sanguine about Los Angeles and California in general even after an entire city has been turned into a smoldering run that the citizens will perhaps at best change deck chairs on the Titanic by blaming Newsom and Bass and not on the madness between their ears, which is of course the same madness between the ears of whoever might replace them.

But I digress because this story alone is indicative of the Trump effect and what it portends for enemies foreign and domestic alike, please God!

President Trump vowed to launch a trade war with Colombia and impose an “emergency 25% tariff” on Sunday after the South American country turned back two US military deportation flights.

“I was just informed that two repatriation flights from the United States, with a large number of Illegal Criminals, were not allowed to land in Colombia,” Trump wrote Sunday.

“This order was given by Colombia’s Socialist President Gustavo Petro, who is already very unpopular amongst his people,” he said, adding that Petro’s decision has “jeopardized the National Security and Public Safety of the United States.”

. . . He also called for a travel ban, visa revocations on Colombian government officials, visa sanctions on party members and government supporters, enhanced customs and border protection inspections of any Colombian national and banking and financial sanctions.

Update, the tinpot greasy bastard has knuckled under.

The Colombian government “agreed to all” of President Donald Trump’s terms regarding the “unrestricted acceptance of all illegal aliens from Colombia” who are being deported from the United States. In a press release, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained that based on the agreement, “fully ed IEEPA tariffs and sanctions” would be “held in reserve” and not signed unless the Colombia government failed to honor the agreement.Leavitt added that “visa sanctions” issued by the State Department would remain in place “until the first planeload of Colombian deportees is successfully returned.”

Leavitt also noted that “today’s events make clear to the world that America is respected again.” The press release comes after Colombian President Gustavo Petro backed down on refusing to accept two deportation flights from the U.S. and said he would “send his presidential plane to personally pick up the deported migrants.” “The government of Colombia has agreed to all of President Trump’s terms, including the unrestricted acceptance of all illegal aliens from Colombia returned from the United States, including on U.S. military aircraft, without limitation or delay,” Leavitt said in a statement. “Based on this agreement, the fully ed IEEPA tariffs and sanctions will be held in reserve, and not signed, unless Colombia fails to honor this agreement.”

And speaking of tinpot greasy dictatorial bastards. This kind of shit cannot go unpunished. Over to you President Trump!

Pritzker said, “Well, let me start by being clear that when we’re talking about violent criminals who have been convicted and who are undocumented, we don’t want them in our state. We want them out of the country. We hope they do get deported. And if that’s who they’re picking up, we’re all for it. They show up with a warrant, and we’re going to hand over people who are in our prisons or in our jails who fit that description. Now, what they’re also doing, though, and it’s quite disturbing, is they’re going after people who are law-abiding, who are holding down jobs, who have families here who may have been here for a decade or two decades, and they’re often our neighbors and our friends. And why are we going after them? These are not people who are causing problems in our country. What we need is a path to citizenship for them. We need to secure our border. We need to get rid of the violent criminals, but we also need to protect people, at least the residents of Illinois and all across the nation, who are just doing what we hope that immigrants will do. He added, “We also have a law on the books in Illinois that says that our local law enforcement will stand up for those law-abiding, undocumented people in our state who are doing the right thing. And we’re not going to help federal officials just drag them away because somebody pointed at them and said, oh, that person’s brown or that person’s not from here. Check it out. Maybe they’re undocumented.”

This schmutzig, greasy blob of Pus, lipids, gall and tyranny's "state law" is in complete contravention of not only sanity but of several hundred years of established judicial and legal precedence. And, it makes zero difference how long an illegal alien has been here and not committing crimes, their mere presence here is a crime in and of itself, regardless of what this insipid cloud of flatus and halitosis spouts to the contrary. Preventing federal authorities from doing their duty is also a Federal offense and PRitzker, should be arrested and tried on every single count with the book thrown at him for each count. however many years times each illegal alien he harbors and obstructs the apprehension of. If it means revoking Illionois' statehood and the dissolution of the state government and being turned into a territory to be governed from DC by responsible individuals. Non-leftists.

On this issue alone, the political wind is at Trump's back and is the primary reason he won a landslide victory. To stop this madness.

Sitz-Pritzker is a prevaricating lying tub of goo when he talks about criminals vs non-criminals. He and his party have done their best to shield even the most hardened murderers, rapists, thugs, drug smugglers and human traffickers from arrest and deportation.

Despite Colorado still having to suffer under the rule of Jared Penis, maybe Coloradans can breathe a bit easier thanks to Donald Trump.

Federal agents rounded dozens of members of Tren de Aragua in an overnight raid on a “makeshift nightclub” in Denver — after the vicious Venezuelan prison gang terrorized the city and the suburb of Aurora.

The DEA said agents in Colorado interrupted an “invite-only party” where dozens of the gangbangers were cutting lose in Adams County — just outside Denver city limits.

The busts netted cash, weapons, guns and drugs — including Tusi or “pink cocaine,” a powerful narcotic that the gang has played a major role in distributing across the US.

Video released by the DEA’s Rocky Mountain Division showed a white bus full of the busted gang members being escorted on the snowy roads by law enforcement vehicles. . .

. . . Similar enforcement operations have taken place around the country in recent days, rounding up some 600 illegal immigrants in sanctuary cities from coast to coast including New York state, according to ICE.

ICE New York agents took several migrant criminals into custody, including Gokhan Adriguzel, a 30-year-old Turkish national who is a “known or suspected terrorist,” according to a release from the agency.

On Saturday in West New York — across the Hudson River from Manhattan — officers stormed an apartment building near 61st Street and Harrison Place around 7:30 a.m., surveillance footage showing them peeking at mailboxes and then heading upstairs, ABC News reported.

Of course as the saying goes, personnel is policy, and Kristi Noem has been confirmed as the head of DHS, under which ICE and CBP operate, so hopefully she will be ruthless in the continued round up and repatriation of every single illegal alien in this country, regardless of how long they've been here and if they are portrayed as American as frijoles and molé. Send them back. Let them get in line like my mother and my grandparents did, and then prove they are not a burden nor a threat. Meh, we should now require basic proficiency in English as a requirement to entry.

And while we're at it, pet peeve: can we end bilingualism once and for all?! Unless every single language and dialect is required on all signs, packaging and everywhere else the insane law dictates an option for Spanish, then English only everywhere.

Interesting and infuriating piece up top.

The bloated nonprofit sector feeds off American wealth and abuses fundamental freedoms to undermine both liberty and prosperity. Time for some political chemotherapy–but so long, and thanks for all the mushrooms!

While certainly people and companies have the right to back any cause or group they want. It then behooves us and our elected officials to designate some or in many instances all of those causes, subversive criminal enterprises, i.e. Black Lives Matter. And that would take political will as well as the will to fight it ut in the courts which as we know all too well are corrupt all the way to SCOTUS, and also lack the will to do their duties, for a number of reasons.

In any case, who gets to decide who and what is a subversive criminal element? Well we've seen that picture in the wake of the stolen 2020 election and the establishment of an American gulag archipelago that Trump's re-RE-election please God will dismantle.

Have a great day.

Who'da Thunk It? Protect The Border, Send Back Illegals, And The Illegal Immigration Problem Suddenly Seems Manageable!

The left and the WEF drones whose goal is to destroy America as we know it have worked very hard to change the image of illegals crashing our borders. They have shifted the conversation from the simple, rational, and absolutely correct view that they are criminals who are breaking our immigration laws and skipping to the head of the line, to some mushy humanitarian crisis that America MUST accept these people because [fill in convenient emotional nonsense].

The reality is different. Our culture is being destroyed by uncontrolled immigration from countries that do not have a tradition of personal responsibility, individual liberty, and entrepreneurial drive. Our coffers are being emptied to pay for the massive social costs of these people, their criminality is changing the face of many of our cities -- both large and small -- and perhaps worst of all, they have brought a lack of respect for the rule of law to every facet of American life.

And for generations the facile claim was that it was too difficult and too disruptive and too violative of basic human rights to do anything about them.

Except...in the five days since Donald Trump's inauguration as the 47th President, there has been a titanic change. Apparently it is entirely possible to deport these criminals. Apparently it is entirely possible to stop them at the border. Apparently it is entirely possible to change the attitudes of those who are waiting to enter our country illegally!

Mexico Accepted 4 Deportation Flights This Week, White House Says

The Trump administration announced earlier in the week that it was re-launching the program known as Remain in Mexico, which required asylum seekers to wait in Mexico until their cases in the United States were resolved.

"Deportation flights have begun," Leavitt wrote in another post on X. "President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences."

This our country. These are our laws. We have nothing for which to apologize. Our cultural integrity is axiomatically defensible, and there are other equally good arguments to be made in defense of our current behavior toward illegals.

But... this is our country. We do not have to justify upholding the rule of law! If the UK wants unlimited illegal immigration and the destruction of their cultural heritage? That's none of our business. If Canada wants to allow 7th century savages into their country with the ultimate goal of implementing sharia law? That's not our problem. But if the people of the United States of America want our borders defended and gate crashers thrown out? That is our business, and our business alone.

Donald Trump is demonstrating that the will of the American people is paramount, and our goals and aspirations for our country are achievable with just a little effort. The Democrat junta and its GOPe enablers obfuscated for years. Donald Trump is well on his way to fixing the immediate problem in a week.

I look forward to the next four years, and then eight years of a JD Vance administration. Anything less will be a disappointment, because Trump has shown us what can be accomplished in one week. Just imagine the next 12 years!

Welcome to the prestigious, internationally acclaimed, stately, and illustrious Sunday Morning Book Thread! The place where all readers are welcome, regardless of whatever guilty pleasure we feel like reading. Here is where we can discuss, argue, bicker, quibble, consider, debate, confabulate, converse, and jaw about our latest fancy in reading material. As always, pants are required, unless you are wearing these pants...

So relax, find yourself a warm kitty (or warm puppy--I won't judge) to curl up in your lap, never get tired of winning, and dive into a new book. What are YOU reading this fine morning?

Saturday Evening Movie Post [moviegique]: Blood Simple

The amazing thing about this debut feature from the Coen Brothers, after the fact that it works so well, is how much of their cinematic language was in place from jump: The idiosyncratic dialogue, the low-angle shots, and the primary theme through their work: To wit, that nobody knows anything.

We gave the Ace of Spades Wheel of Hobbies(TM) a spin and the result shows the wisdom of the Wheel. It said HAND MADE JEWELRY. It also said some other things, so read below for more.
