And...I made it. Yay!

Like you can see from the earlier post, my plan of avoidance was working. Even better than I hoped, actually.
First, they were late. Then, I just happened to be in the shower when they got here. I took my time finishing, too. Then, after I'd said "Hi' and bullshitted for about 1/2 an hour, me and George went to the store. Came back and made sloppy joes. Bill showed up and asked about me driving a load so I said sure. Then, when I got back, I decided to make Tollhouse cookies and still managed to keep my distance.
Now, they're gone, I've got the last batch of cookies in, Eric is watching TV, soaking his feet in this hot water/foot massager thing. I'm about to clean the tub, light candles and put his ass in some hot water to soak awhile. Then, as he's laying there in bed waiting to fall asleep, I'll be 'tickling' him. It's not really tickling, in the accepted sense, but it's not scratching either. I just run my fingertips everywhere and he has seizures, basically. (Not real ones, of course.) On his back, I use my hair, too. Just sweep it back and forth real slow. He seems to like that.

Okay...just got the last batch out, so I'm gonna go get the tub ready. I've still got some laundry left, but I got the house done real well, besides that. I didn't do too bad. At least I didn't yell at, flip off or smack anybody. Yay!

I'll be back later, if I don't just pass out from tiredness. Since I got up yesterday, at whatever time it was, I've slept about an hour and a half. That was before I took that hayride out. But, ephedra is a wonderful thing. Which is probably 3/4 of the reason why they're making it so hard to find. Figures.

Anyway...I'll be around somewhere. If ya can't find me, follow the snoring sound...lol.

Help meeeee...

They're here. So far, not so bad. Of course, they're in the livingroom and I'm here...but....
I'll be driving a hay ride at 4:30pm...Yay!

Gotts go...
Nice knowing y'all are here.

That's nice to know...really.

I'm #52 on Google when someone wants to find Suzanne Sugarbaker having sex.

Kay.

Smoke break, btw.

I am now officially....

A 'mom-sicle'. Meaning the kid is here and I'm back from out there and frozen.
My boobs are so cold, I can feel it with my hands! COLD. (Must be dark too, what with the 'headlights' and all...)
I'll be cleaning. Seeing how every slow-assed bastard in the county hadda get between me and everywhere earlier, cleaning is still the first thing I gotta do. 'Tweaking' will have to wait a while.

I did get 95% of the dishes done, though.

So, I'm gonna go thaw out, clean and hope I remember to tell ya's about the conversation I had about 'that chick'....you know the one. Yeah...her.

(Bitch...)

I've been thinking about it....

And, it is my considered opinion that I'd be able to get alot more done, alot quicker, if everybody else would kindly stay HOME!

Honestly....some people's kids. (And, believe me, age has nothing to do with that.)

God, if ya ain't too busy...

I might need ya a little today.

Due to a case of severe (and chronic) screwing off, I now have less than 24 hours to do the following...(I am such a pain in my own ass!):

Clean this entire hours. Dishes, laundry, catboxes...everything.
Go to numerous (usually at least two, Thank God they're near each other) different drug store to get the shit I hafta have to re-do my nails. (I can't believe I just typed that, let alone admiting that I actually do do foo-foo shit like that, but I do. God...)
Go to the grocery store for more than just a coupla things.
Go to Walmart, because they are the only people on EARTH who stock my vacuum cleaners bags and I've emptied and reused the last one I've got about 7 times now and I'm officially tired of it.
Start all this off by going all the way down 611 to the freakin' turnpike area to get two checks cashed.
At 5:00pm, I have to go park cars again. (I think I'm getting to be too good at this. I haven't been spending much time on tractors lately. Damn it.)
'The kid' will be here before I get done out there, so I hafta do all that shit by before 5:00. Then, after I'm done, I'll come back here and finish tweaking it because "Y'all know who" is supposed to be here tomorrow. (Here's a hint: ACK, GAG, PEE-UKE...)
Then, I'm gonna be here and sleeping after that and hopefully, by some time before they get here, I'll be out in the wood, in a deerstand with a big-ass, thermal-type cuppa coffe, my Walkman, about 10 CD's, a book or two and something to snack on, like Pop-tarts or something. 'Cause, I'm not gonna stay here and deal with the corpse. Or the necropheliac. EW.

Whew.

Light a candle for me...preferrably a scented one! I'll be around (like horse poop at a race track...)

What da hell? (lol)

Boobs+ tractors? What is that about?

My first thought is...Bill, this Bill, not Bloviating Inanities Bill. He's managed, among other things, to run his own self over with a tractor.. More than once.

My next thought was, "geez, boobs around a PTO...could be ugly."

So, then I asked George. "Hey, what's the first thing you think of if I say boobs plus tractors?"

"Boobs plus tractors?"

"Yeah...someone's search words..."

Thinks about a half a second and say "Boobs and tractors...sure. Why not?"

"Well, because the first thing I think of is Bill. Followed by 'potential farming accidents'. Must be a guy thing."

"Yeah, a topless chick on a tractor..."..trails off, imagining and smiling.

"Well, that woulda been a better search phrase. How'd they get here? Oh, yeah...I've mentioned tractors..."

From him, "And boobs..."

"Well, okay then. It is me.", laughing.

Look, y'all...I know I'm a little off, here, buuut...would yez quit provin' it alla time?

Worth it all...

Okay, person, I've found a poem called "Worth it All" and it's about bullriding.
I hope this is what you were looking for...

"Worth it All
It sure ain't easy to explain
To all those gathered round my bed
Dry yer tears, I'll be ok
Try to show a smile instead

Doctor says it don't look good
I might not make it through the night
I just want to make it understood
No matter what, I'll be alright

Only a bullrider would know what I mean
Cuz others live life and play it safe
Never daring to live out their dreams
And settling for second place

I want y'all to know I followed my dreams
Doing what meant the world to me
I wouldn't go back and change a thing
Even knowing what this last ride would bring

Every check won, every week gone poor
Every eight seconds, and every single fall
Every day lived, even though they're cut short
Whithout a doubt in my mind, it was worth it all

Lookin' back I have no regrets
Not a day I choose to forget
It's time to go, I close my eyes
Makin' my last and final ride

The site I found this on is by a female bullrider named Sue Spraut.
This is a link to her page. She's got other really beautiful cowboy poems there, too.

I hope this helps....

Thank you, whoever you are...

Who got here trying to find a poem called "Worth it All" about bullriding.
I'm still trying to find that one.
I found the one in the next post, though.

I dedicate it to my Bullrider...

(And, I've still got goosebumps head to toe from it...)
Thank you again...it's his favorite.

This is Eric, too....

Cowboy is his Name

There's a hundred years of history
and a hundred before that
All gathered in the thinkin'
Goin' on beneath this hat.

The cold flame burns within him
'Til his skin's as cold as ice
And the dues he paid to get here
Are worth every sacrifice.

All the miles spend sleepy drivin'
All the money down the drain,
All the 'if I's' and 'nearly's,'
All the bandages and pain,

All the female tears left dryin',
All the fever and the fight
Are just a small down payment
On the ride he makes tonight.

It's guts and love and glory,
One mortal's chance at fame.
His legacy is rodeo
And cowboy is his name

Yet another strange search...

Why+do+Swiss+cows+wear+bells?

For the same reason any other cow wears a bell.
Their horns don't work.

Bada bing....and a rimshot.

Lord....*shaking head and laughing*

So, it's not just me...

Thank God. Velociman and hln, whose 'signature' reminds me of the name Helen, but whose first name is what my name almost was (I saw it written down with a coupla others in a babybook once), are having problems, too.

Seems Hosting Matters is currently FUBAR. If you try to go to their homepage off of Yahoo, ya "can't get they-a from he-ya." Go to the next search result, Automotive something or other, who proudly proclaim to be hosted by Hosting Matters and you can get their page to load, but it says "Internal Server Error" right at the top of the page.

Crap.

Oh well...whatcha gonna do?

And, damn it, there is something familiar to me about the name "Angelweave". I've seen it somewhere before, besides Heather's blog. It's drivin' me bugfuck, because I know I know it...I just can't remember from where.

It'll come to me...

Anyway, if anybody gets an update as to when Hosting Matters will be returning us to our regularly scheduled blog reading, commenting and posting, let me know...okay? I'll keep trying too.

All right...what the f...

uck. I haven't been able to get to Gut Rumbles for about 45 minutes to an hour or so. I can get to Dax, I can't get to Donnie.

WTF?

Did the damn Devil go on and go down to Georgia and screw up something?
Or what?

Update: 10:00pm
No Bloviating Inanities, either.

As I find these guys on other blogs, I'm trying their links with the same result.

What is going on?

GARTON'S BACKWARDS

I know that's goofy, but in Sitemeter, someone found me by using that search and I want it to bring them here...Garton's backwards...in case it's my Dad or something...Garton's backwards.

So, don't...Garton's backwards...mind me.

In the meantime can someone please try to go to Gut Rumbles for me and let me know if you can get there? If this link doesn't work (it should, but, I can't tell...), theres another in the blogroll, or if you go into my Sitemeter, theres one there, too.

I was there a little while ago (I'm working on something) and now, when I try to go back, it gives me "Page cannot be displayed" with "Cannot find server" at the bottom in the bar.
But, I can go everywhere else.

So, what's that about?

Okay now, MT, be payin' attention here...

I've got my new, revised list of everybody's URL. (I know I can cut & paste URL's. It's just easier to have them *gasp* written down on paper. Heathen, ain't I, mixing computers and handwriting? Oh frickin' well. I'm nuttin' but a damn rebel, anyway.)
Anyhoo (ROD!!! You alive? Call us, Dude!), I'm gonna go to the bathroom (it's suddenly occured to me that announcing calls of nature in the house to people ya know is a little different than announcing it to the WORLD, not that the 'world' reads this, but y'all know what I mean), get myself a big assed cuppa coffee, a new pack of cigarettes and a shroud to cover me, the computer and my little lamp and then I'm gonna re-do that big, beautiful post I did earlier and if you hear any tortorous screaming later on, y'all will know that I have once again f'ed it up. 'Kay?

I'll be back...and if I happened to sound like the new Governor, so much the better. Rest assured I'm NOT grabbing anyone's ASS right this second.
Yet.

Oh...btw...UPDATE several hours later:
Dear MT,
Sorry if I impugned your integrity.
I guess I should've been raggin' on Hosting Matters, instead,
Sincerely,
me

Hello! A cow list is...

A huge list of cows, some are new moms, some have been bred and need to be checked as to whether they're pregnant or not (which will put going to the gynocologist right into perspective) and others who haven't 'took' to being bred for a long while. The 'fresh' cows (new moms) need to be checked out and cleaned out and readied for breeding again. The old farts who aren't pregnant get checked to see if we can find out why. Then we try to fix it. The others just need to be confirmed one way or the other so we know whether or not to try breeding them again.
Oh, and the vet comes here. God forbid we should have to take a herd of cows to him. His waiting room would never be the same again...lol.

Questions? (I'm sure...lol) Fire away when ready. I'll do my best to answer 'em.

I am officially annoyed...

I did a killer long post with sixteen links, only one of which needed to be fixed. I did my little 'find a mistake and fix it' routine and somehow, it got ATE!!!
It was probably something I did, but day-um. That bites. I read a good, got-damn question somewhere in the blogosphere earlier tonight/this morning-whatever- "Why is it only really long, 4 page manifesto-type posts are the ones to be eaten?"
Matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, it was the guy I was posting about in the first place who asked it. I'd like an answer for that one myself.

Major sigh...

I'll probably try it again later. Sixteen links. Oh, the carnage...the blood loss...the brain-folding cajones of it all.
Pfft.
I have a cow list I have to get ready for the vet this morning. Tired as I already am, I think I'd better wait til I get up to re-do that post, or I'll be trying to link the cows on his list instead of the blogs on mine. And, I don't think Eric's gonna want to hand Doc Streams a list of URL's either, so I suppose I should disengage from here and go do that while I have even a shred of brain function left.

Sixteen links...all gone. unbelievable.

Well, okay...

Thanks to Site Meter, I now know that I am #79 on the list for the search query 'Stevie Ray Vaughans Funeral'.

I like that. Being associated, in any small way, with Stevie Ray is absoluelty good with me.
However.....
What are ya looking for that you can't find somewhere in the first two pages of a search, let alone 7?
Just once, I'd like it if someone who would go even 4 pages into a search would leave a comment. If someone in 7 pages deep did, I'd be able to ask 'em about it.
Could be interesting.

Just do it....

Go here. Read, comments included.

BUT...Do not have any liquid of any kind in your hands or anywhere near your mouth.

Go...I still can't stop laughing.
