I am officially annoyed...

I did a killer long post with sixteen links, only one of which needed to be fixed. I did my little 'find a mistake and fix it' routine and somehow, it got ATE!!!
It was probably something I did, but day-um. That bites. I read a good, got-damn question somewhere in the blogosphere earlier tonight/this morning-whatever- "Why is it only really long, 4 page manifesto-type posts are the ones to be eaten?"
Matter of fact, if I'm not mistaken, it was the guy I was posting about in the first place who asked it. I'd like an answer for that one myself.

Major sigh...

I'll probably try it again later. Sixteen links. Oh, the carnage...the blood loss...the brain-folding cajones of it all.
Pfft.
I have a cow list I have to get ready for the vet this morning. Tired as I already am, I think I'd better wait til I get up to re-do that post, or I'll be trying to link the cows on his list instead of the blogs on mine. And, I don't think Eric's gonna want to hand Doc Streams a list of URL's either, so I suppose I should disengage from here and go do that while I have even a shred of brain function left.

Sixteen links...all gone. unbelievable.

1 Do frequent saves in 'draft' mode sweetie. It's saved me many a time.

4 OK, I've gotta know: what's a cow list and why do you need to take it to the vet?

5 Heh. Lesson learned. Rule #1: Never compose posts in an html form. Always copy & paste from a word processor.

6 Don't gots a word processor, doggone it. (Don't know if I even want one after that novella by Stephen King called "Wrod Processer of the Gods".)
The lesson I'd rather have is, how do you turn images into htlm or whatever it is you hafta do, to get them into the template and where do ya put 'em so they show up in the top right of the page?
Now THATS something I've gotta learn.

7 Notepad is good enough for editing your posts.

To get the HTML for an image, use the Upload File button. This will load your image onto the server and give you the HTML to display it. Then you can cut and paste that into your template.

Try pasting it into places at random until you find one that works.

8 Me? Randomly stick stuff in my template? Dear God. I'd probably wind up with it in yours. lol
That's one of those 'one step away from deleting the entire Internet' things, with my 'technical skills' and I use that phrase veeeerrrry lightly.
