mu.nu - We're sorry we accidentally destroyed your panties.
September 09, 2003
Would be a "recent posts" sidebar thingy which worked across all the mu.nu blogs.
Can't see any easy way of doing this, though.Posted by: Pixy Misa at 04:50 PM | Comments (172) | Add Comment | Trackbacks (Suck)

For Publius, for Rocket Jones
For Cherry's Ram-b'-lings
For Mookieriffic bloggery

And crown thy good with bloggerhood
and Collinize for free! The irony is ambient
at Pixy Misa's blog
the Michigander's name is Tim
and Tuning Spork's is Bob Munuvia, Munuvia,

Hi everybody. Good to be here! I left my farewell over at my old hovel, in which I explain to those left behind how it is that I came to be here amongst you fine folk.
I haven't visited everybody's blogs yet, but I'm looking forward to it. Do we have a national anthem or anything like that? 'Cause I don't want to shirk my civic responsibilities in my new home, and if I've got songs to learn I'd just as soon get started.Posted by: Mr Green at 08:44 PM | Comments (167) | Add Comment | Trackbacks (Suck)
Ok, I give up already! What is the cool new feature? I have to go to work soon, and unsolved puzzles drive me crazy (Yes, I know, sounds like a short trip to you...).
Totally unrelated, why hasn't John Collins visited Munuviana? At least left a comment if not a post?

Looking at the calendar--as well as talking to the gf--I realized 9 of our ten rats has a September birthday. Pinky is one today; Kono, Metro, and Leather will be one on the 11th, Calle, Olie, and Cinammon Schwartz will be one on the 26th, and Bob and Curly, while we're not sure of the exact day, will be three this month.
Witter is the lone non-September rat. He's 18 months this month. I'll be sure to post pix of the birthday party at Publius & Co.Posted by: Victor at 12:13 AM | Comments (163) | Add Comment | Trackbacks (Suck)

Here is Jen's easiest cheesecake recipe in the world. The only thing easier is buying one pre-made.
Ingredients:2 (8 oz. each) packages of cream cheese, softened.
1/3 cup sugar
1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed
1 ready-to-use graham cracker crust (6 oz. or 9 inch) Directions:
Mix cream cheese and sugar in large bowl until smooth. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spoon mixture into crust. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until set. Top with fresh fruit or pie filling if desired. (I like fresh blueberries.) This fall I'll post my caramel apple cheesecake recipe...a Thanksgiving favorite!

A big welcome to Daniel Moore, our newest Munuvian!
Hi, my name is Daniel Moore. I am currently a third year graduate student at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Materials Science and Engineering. I work for Prof. Z. L. Wang, focusing currently on microscopy and the functionalization of nanostructures for use in nanoscale devices. Particular projects now include development of drug delivery systems, using nanobelts as bio-fluid sensors, study of polarized nanostructures, and development of novel nano-scale materials. Feel free to contact me about any of these subjects. Or anything else really. Now, all we need to do is think up a cool name for his blog! Currently it's DFMoore... the weblog... which while concise and to the point, perhaps could do with a little more... pizzaz.* * I looked in the dictionary to see just how many Zs there are in pizazz. The answer appears to be How many do you want? with pizazz, pizzaz and pizzazz all listed as valid alternatives.

Guitarzan by Ray Stevens? The gf put on a Ray Stevens cd today and I lost it when I heard Guitarzan.
Great song. I gotta send a copy to Ethel.Posted by: Victor at 01:29 AM | Comments (157) | Add Comment | Trackbacks (Suck)

Okay, Munuvians...a little help please! As Pixy has noted, there are a couple of bogsplotters we would like to invite to be munuvians, but we can't get to their websites to get email addys.
So--
Mookie: do you have an email for the Meatriarchy?
Jen: have you one for dfmoore?

I bought a bottle of Cherry Coke. I wonder what it's like. Can't be worse than (bleah!) Vanilla.

Anyway, it's clear there aren't enough Munuvians yet 'cause no-one's posting anything!Posted by: Pixy Misa at 12:11 PM | Comments (159) | Add Comment | Trackbacks (Suck)
