There are still lots of rural votes to count, but Talarico has won around 65%-68% of the vote (75% counted) in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio. Unless cows and oil rigs are voting that is an uphill margin to overcome.

I thought Trump was doing the in out in out in Iran and that would be that. It wasn't. But no way is Iran the reason Georgia has a D governor.
All I can assume is he had a good reason. Finally we get a leader who doesn't just stick his finger in the wind to make decisions and people can't take it. So it's back to 30 years of GOPe since they're doing such a bang up job taking us on, I mean taking on the commies. Posted by: ... at November 03, 2026 10:19 PM (vE0+H) 91

Hustad (R) in Ohio has cut the lead down to 1.16% with 74% of the vote in.
Hinson (R) in Iowa has cut the lead down to 12.16% with 34% of the vote in. Hopefully, she'll win but she has a considerable hole to climb out of. Nebraska, we're down 11.13% with 37% of the vote in. A repeat of Iowa. Not looking good in Kansas. May have an outside chance in South Carolina (down 4.12% with 87% reporting) but doesn't look good right now. I don't know what's happening in the elections (whether good or bad), but I do know that I very much wanted Trump to win in 2020. His loss was a tremendous disappointment. But that loss turned into a very different Trump in 2024, as opposed to another relatively weak term if he had won in 2020. It turned into a victory that I could not have foreseen after the 2020 election.
My view now is that God is working in this country, and how He is working is not something I can grasp. He spared Trump from an assassin's bullet. A great deal of evil and corruption has been exposed. Young leaders have emerged in the conservative ranks. 2020 and 2024 made me view my own opinions of how this country should be saved very differently. As much as I would like us to simply vote our way out of this, politics alone will not save this country, and God is working towards a spiritual solution. I believe that Trump is part of that, but I don't know the playbook. If it wasn't for God's hand so clearly moving as shown in 2020 and 2024, and Trump's narrow escape, I would be much more discouraged by the apparent future of the US.
