The Morning Report — 6/ 19 /26

Junes-Teeth.jpg

Good morning kids. Today of course is one of the most significant and powerful of American holidays where we commemorate and celebrate the profound impact of TImmy and Lassie, Lost In Space and Petticoat Junction to our history, heritage and society. So in that vein I want to wish you and yours a very joyous and blessed June's Teeth!

And continuing on to some other minor items. Of course the MOU or memorandum of understanding between the US and Iran concerning the cessation of current hostilities. President Trump stated unequivocally that this was "unconditional surrender.":

President Trump shockingly claimed that the controversial memorandum of understanding with Iran “probably” amounts to unconditional surrender from Tehran as he grapples with a GOP revolt over the preliminary deal.

Back in March, during the early days of Operation Epic Fury, Trump publicly insisted that he would not cut a deal with Iran unless it agreed to an unconditional surrender.

“Well, but really it probably is unconditional surrender,” Trump told Axios reporter Mark Caputo, per a preview clip of their interview.Typically, unconditional surrender has meant that the losing side agrees to all demands.

Given the situation on the ground in Iran, the President might actually be correct except not in the way he thinks. WIth the Iranian government that has spilled oceans of blood and pursued nuclear weapons with only its word and pinky-swears that it will cease both, still essentially intact despite the rubble bouncing, perhaps it is we who have surrendered to them?

As CBD and I discussed on the latest episode of the podcast linked here and in the sidebar, yes it is a good thing that we at least degraded their ability to build nukes and export terror in the short term, what lies ahead leaves much room for doubt as to our and the world's long-term safety and security from Iran and really ISLAM's quest for the subjugation of he world.

Elsewhere here's something that's completely unsurprising and yet it horrifies and disgusts beyond belief, as it should.

At the end of her final day in office as director of national intelligence, former Democrat Tulsi Gabbard today released a slew of formerly classified papers, documents, and email communications that prove that Anthony Fauci had not only approved extensive funding to the Wuhan lab in China that was the source of the Covid virus, he lied about his actions to Congress and to the public.

In the last analysis, when you add up the number of deaths both as a result of the virus as well as the vaccines along with the suffering of those who survived the disease, Anthony Fauci can be regarded as one of the greatest mass murderers in recent memory if not of all time. All because globalists and Democrats as well as the Red Chinese feared a Donald Trump presidency, or it was simply a Chi-Com test of a bioweapon they prematurely released, perhaps saving it for a future date or as cover for aninvasion of Taiwan. Either way, next to Islam theRed Chinese are an existential threat to our survival as they too seek global domination.

Lots of other abominations, infamies and depredations in the links, so with that I bid you all,

Have a great weekend,

18 We’ve all known for years that Fauci himself financed the creation of the Covid virus; now there’s proof. Actually there always was proof, now it’s public.

I wonder if Trump knew that Tulsi was going to do this; it may be the reason she waited until her last day in office to reveal it. Supporting Fauci was the one great failure of his first term.

43 So talks were supposed to start today in Geneva. Iran has already walked out, talks canceled until further notice.

This is what a party does when they want to make it clear that they are in complete control of the negotiations, and that the other side is desperate to do anything to placate them and get a deal at any cost. Pretty standard tactic in high level negotiations.

The proper countermove for the other party is to immediately cancel all talks. The weak surrender move is to work to find ways to make the walkouts happy. I guess we’ll see which happens over the weekend.

The IRGC also purportedly closed Hormuz again. They also fired on at least one commercial vessel last night or yesterday afternoon. After the "MOU" was allegedly signed.

Israel stepped up attacks on Hezbollah in Lebanon earlier that day as well. That, right there, is not going to sit well with Iran. Or Trump.

Not really - often this temporary tactic is commonly used to test the other sides resolve, not to show you are running the joint. If you were really running the joint, the deal would perfect for you all along because you dictated the deal already - you're running the joint after all.

I think what it shows is that there is an internal power struggle going on in Iran. The one legged supreme leader put out a statement endorsing the MOU and political leadership. The IRGC appears to have a different agenda.

56 This was always going to be Trump's problem. Right or wrong, once he went into Iran, there was no path he could take without enraging basically all of his supporters.

The younger supporters didn't want the war at all, period, end of story. So they're angry on Day One. The older ones want total war and a Persian suzerainty, which they are not getting, and so they're angry now - and no matter what happened, the GOP was going to find a reason to attack him.

This wasn't a political risk, but a certainty. I'm sure he knew that when he pulled the trigger, but now he's gonna have to deal with the fallout.

Yes, it would be ideal if the Islamic regime was gone. But you're letting perfect be the enemy of good enough.

A key point of the MOU was that Iran agreed to open the Straights of Horuz for 60 days. This is going to let the remaining tankers flee the region. This removes pressure on oil prices.

Pres. Trump has actually declawed the Iranian regime. It doesn't matter what the Iranians say to save face.

We've sunk the Iranian navy (they're reduced to speedboats mounting machine guns) and destroyed their air force. We've crippled their SSM and drone capability (if they still had a bunch, don't you think that they'd launch more than a couple SSM and a handful of drones?). We have destroyed much of their weapons production industry. We have starved them of revenue.

74 It is part of Trump’s fundamental makeup to look for and want a deal. In this situation with Iran, what is usually one of his unique strengths has become a weakness. He doesn’t seem to understand that even trying to make a deal with these people makes them believe you’re weak. In their minds they’ve already won…

A better approach IMHO would’ve been a perpetual naval blockade and semi-regular bombing of any targets that pop out of their gopher holes. This would slowly strangle their economy with minimal to zero risk for our service personnel. It would also be better politically as he’s taking flak from all sides on this “deal”

Yes, it would have been so much better to not have destroyed the Iranian navy, air force, and blow-up a $h!t-load of SSM and drones. It would have been so much better to have not degraded Iran's military capability. We should just vote for Democrats -- they know how to treat Iran.

86 We've sunk the Iranian navy (they're reduced to speedboats mounting machine guns) and destroyed their air force.“

Here’s the problem that we apparently didn’t anticipate; their big ship navy was just for pride, but not necessary to stop movement through the straits. All they need for that is lots of drones and speedboats, of which they still have approximately 1500, according to reports. If we send in A-10’s or Apache helicopters to hunt them, they are shot down by manpads or drones fired from the bluffs overlooking the straits, which we cannot clear.

And their air force was always just an obsolete pile of junk. All of the things that an Air Force traditionally would have done are now done by drones and missiles.

Iran adapted to our tactics the way that Ukraine adapted to Russia’s, and we grudgingly must admit they did a good job of it. We’ve been forced to admit that we do not have the power to open the straits up without a much greater commitment of force.
Which we are not willing to do.

Commercial shipping has a say in whether Hormuz is open or closed too. Their criteria is not the same as Iran's or ours. This is something that we, and the media can't seem to get straight. 102 CO law that goes into effect July 1:

House Bill 26-1322, “Civil Actions for Conversion Therapy Survivors,” allows someone injured by a licensed mental health professional’s efforts to change sexual orientation or gender identity to bring a cause of action for claims of injury. It allows the survivor, the survivor’s representative or the estate to recover economic, noneconomic and exemplary damages.

Other than suicide, I don't know what harms might be claimed. ("They hurt my feelings"?) In a blue state court system I suspect that merely alleging harm will be deemed to prove harm.

This comes after the CO supreme court ordered a lower court judge to order Children's Hospital to provide gender bending hormones to minors.

113 >>This might be a good cop/bad cop strategy worked out ahead of time...but there is indeed an ongoing power struggle in Iran that makes getting anything done tough to do...

Maybe. Or maybe it's just the natural progression of two countries with similar and still different goals.

Trump obviously has an affinity for Israel. No president in history has done more to support them, particularly now when they are pretty alone in the world. On the other hand America First is not just a slogan for Trump. He puts the goals of the US before anything else. Netanyahu does the same with Israel.

Seems obvious that Trump can bomb Iran into oblivion. Seems equally obvious he doesn't want to if he can avoid it because the fallout is something he and the rest of the world will have to deal with.

What we don't know because there is almost no real information about it is what is actually going on with the Iranian leadership. We know when Trump blows his nose but we have no idea about the various factions jockeying for power in Iran. They don't have much real military power left but they can still cause local trouble for a while.

115 My take on Fauci/COVID:

Fauci had for a while wanted to make a general coronavirus vaccine as he saw this as a major success for his career. Because GoF research had been banned in the US he sent money through his flunkie Daszak to do the research in China.

China then did its normal low level of quality control and had the frankenvirus they made escape. They intentionally spread it to Europe and the US, used it to clamp down on Hong Kong protests, and worked with the Dems here to amplify fear as a weapon against Trump but this was opportunistic not an intentional release.

When Fauci found out about COVID he knew immediately it was his virus, which is why he went right away into cover your ass mode. Now remember his goal in all this was a COVID vaccine - so he went to his partners who told him their vaccine was just about ready to go anyway but they lied - faking both the effectiveness and safety tests.

Which led to the Biden junta which in turn worked with Fauci to cover up the origins of the virus and the ineffectiveness and danger of the clot shot.

This looks like a Fun House Mirror version of the games North Vietnam used to play in their negotiations.

They constantly walked away from the Paris? talks.

And each time only came back after getting exactly they wanted.

And...BONUS! The Viet Cong were helped by all the hippie, traitorous infused college demonstrations. We also have that but they don't seem to be a popular thing...I'm guessing due to the presence of blue-haired stick-whales instead of cute hippie chicks.

Soooo, if Trump actually meant what he said yesterday about dropping bombs. This would be a good time to show they know where big wigs from the IRGC are hiding.

They can't. Thus the rub between Trump and Netanyahu.

Iran has given up all pretense that Hezbollah isn't their creature by demanding it. Netanyahu wants to go after them militarily and Trump wanted to starve them.

Kind of funny that 5 minutes ago the woke right was saying Trump is Netanyahu's puppet and now they are raging at Trump for criticizing him. It's almost like they just want to hammer Trump.

That sequence fits pretty well with my thoughts about how it went down. The quest for an mRNA vaccine model had been building for a couple decades (it's right there in ModeRNA's name), and garden variety coronavirus was as good a target as any. mRNA based cancer therapy is another potential target, yet to be in general use. The biggest issue with using mRNA to deliver the antigen is that the dose is dependent on the individual's cellular machinery, and may promote over-stimulation of the immune response.

I know, and agree. I am not writing to lay blame or second guess; only to point out that a very important choice is now before this country, and circumstances dictate that a choice MUST be made. We will all know very soon what that choice is.

Neither choice is very good, but one is much worse than the other.

Just think of how arrogant, and self ingratiating you have to be to make that statement. He destroyed race relations, constantly undermined the Bill of Rights, attempted to install socialism and used the auspices of our government to falsely and illegally undermine the opposition political candidate.

Absolutely none of that has anything to do with our declaration other than it reads like the “train of abuses”. Obama embodied the corrupt, subversive, deviant and anti liberty forces that helped define our founding and set us on the road to our constitution and our democratic republic.

He doesn’t like the constitution because it, purposely puts constraints and the subversion he wants to achieve. But once again the Founders were smarter than this effeminate, divisive, corrupt, destructive, lying piece of garbage jackass.

You see, it’s the system of our government that is faulty, not the socialist, divisive garbage he’s pushing. It’s not his fault, it’s the founders. They won’t let him destroy the republic.
