The Morning Report — 6/ 9 /26

DemSmother.jpg

Good morning kids. There certainly is a lot of attention on California and Los Angeles in the wake of the primary elections, and not just because President Trump called out the in-your-face Democrat election rigging which was and is plain to see in real time.

“I have to tell you, they’ve probably got the worst election system of any state in the country. It’s as if they set out to design it so that it would be easy to cheat and easy to steal elections,” he said, noting that the Golden State has banned voter ID while they “mail ballots to every single registered voter in the state.”
“They don’t do anything, I mean, hardly anything to clean up their voter rolls. So, like, in Los Angeles, you talk to anybody who lives there, and they will tell you if they live in condos and apartments, they’re probably receiving or have received ballots in the mail for people who don’t live there,” he said, highlighting the magnitude of this issue, surmising that some individuals receive multiple ballots.
“People have testified to that. I mean, it’s just one thing after another like that,” he said, noting that it does not end there, as the state will count ballots that come in for seven days after Election Day, with a 22-day “cure period” for ballots with issues such as a missing signature. Even then, the so-called “fix” is lacking.

Hello Hans von Spakovsky, 2020 is on the phone and would like a word with you! But, while this third-world fraud is certainly horrendous, it does make me wonder why the deepest of deep blue hellhole cities' and states' Democrats even have to worry that they could actually lose an election — Gray Davis and Arnold Schwarzenegger notwithstanding - not that they accomplished anything that even for a moment stopped the Leftists' destruction of a place that once embodied the American dream but that now is the symbol of Democrat/Leftist failure. And that right there is the reason. The socialist delusion has run head first into the brick wall of reality for all to see, most tellingly the younger generations who have been Pied-Pipered and brainwashed into true believers but are more and more waking up from the delusion.

The problem with the Gen Z new age socialist frame of thought is that they have no means of production of their own. Put plainly, there are no such things as socialist means of production or economic market tools; if so, what are they? To Gen Z, putting private property in someone else's hands and tweaking the economy to their benefit sounds workable, but the basic reality is very scary: they are under the impression that a socialist economy will solve their problems, and everyone else's for that matter, because in their minds all you have to do is control prices, increase minimums, put a cap on this, overtax the other, overregulate this and that, confiscate wealth, and so on. Yet here is the red pill: the previously listed points are capitalist means of production for a market economy; without a socialist means of production, none of the utopian ideas are workable.

Of course the abject incompetence in the wake of the Pacific Palisades wildfires on top of the crime and economic dislocations of open borders have also opened eyes, the attacks on ICE and police notwithstanding, but far too many have taken a bite out of that reality sandwich and evidently are not liking the taste. And so, Newsom , Bass and the Democrats have deployed the fraud machine tonsure California stays blue, and that there is not even the most minuscule chance of losing the state nationally in '28 and possibly for a generation or two down the line. It's not necessarily wishful thinking on my part but just interpreting Democrat motives and mindsets in the current environment. And considering Newsom is the or a frontrunner for the top of the Democrat ticket in '28, his record speaks for itself, not just going forward but right here and now as reflected in the election theft.

California today “has the nation’s highest cost-of-living adjusted poverty rate, the highest levels of functioning illiteracy, and the worst housing affordability in the continental US,” writes Joel Kotkin, who has been chronicling California’s highs and lows for more than 40 years. “California increasingly resembles a neo-feudal state, where a handful of large companies drive the economy while the vast majority of workers endure high energy and housing costs, high taxes, and diminishing opportunity.”

Golden State government has spawned fiascos large and small. Fraudulent Medicaid spending, which made headlines in Minnesota last winter, seems likely to be even more monumental in California, whose Medicaid programs are scheduled to get $138 billion from the federal government, up $18 billion from 2024. The state subsidizes tribal ceremonies and exorcisms, gym memberships and art lessons. . . California in its golden years made the movie “Casablanca.” Today, Casablanca is better at building public works than California. The state that within six months completed two major bridges across the San Francisco Bay can’t properly route phone calls in Tuolumne County.

Taking a workable system and making it fail requires a particular talent. Reading between the lines, one sees little among California’s well-paid public-sector union ranks of the pride I once noticed in a state employee years ago. Instead, there is an eagerness to extract still more from the state’s private-sector success — SEIU is pushing a supposedly onetime wealth tax on the very rich to boost current employees’ benefits — and a complacent indifference to whether the work actually serves its intended beneficiaries. . .

. . . Will the politicians astride this rot pay a price? Harris was the Democratic nominee for president in 2024, and Newsom leads in polls for the nomination in 2028. But a countertrend may be visible in the theoretically nonpartisan June 2 primary for mayor of LA. The (sparse) polling shows LA Mayor Karen Bass way below the 50% needed to win reelection next week, and former reality TV star Spencer Pratt overtaking the left-wing council member initially expected to be her chief challenger.

Pratt’s house was burned down in the January 2025 Pacific Palisades fire, which struck as Bass (despite promising in 2002 to take no foreign trips) was headed to the inauguration of the president of Ghana. Pratt’s cheeky ads lampoon Bass’s left-wing policies, which have produced empty reservoirs and streets full of angry, drug-addicted homeless people.

Empty reservoirs and acres of homeless tents — that’s what California’s once-proud public sector has been producing.

And on the national level we have this nightmare scenario from the Democrats.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) took action “toward drafting” an affordability agenda for 2027 that puts Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) in charge of health care, and transgender-identifying Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE) in charge of caregiving, according to multiple reports.

So, in other words smother America with a pillow, steal its wallet, then gang anal-rape its convulsing corpse. Funny how Jefries insists we're in economic freefall thanks to President Trump while a look at the headlines in the Economy Stupid section today and over the last few days debunks that bullshit totally. Yes prices are still high but the trend towards better times is unmistakeable. And paying a bit more at the pump is a very small price to pay in order to prevent an Islamic ICBM from coming down on us.

That said the madness with Iran continues and we have full coverage on that topic as well as is evidenced by the links.

Have a great day,

87 Here's what I like most about the CA ballots matter:

They have removed every law, every safeguard, every check that could possibly be used to verify if a ballot is valid.

Not just chain-of-custody, they've completely removed any and all providence--if the ballot shows up, it's counted no matter what.

There's no fraud because there's no way to actually prove ... anything.

I understand what you're saying, but it's long past time that these "reporters" have it made clear to them that constantly interrupting the president after you've asked a question is unacceptable. We understand that you have your agenda and want to make sure that he can't collect his thoughts long enough to speak, but that isn't a justification for such behavior.

Trump banned Acosta for the same thing but eventually had to readmit him to the WH press room. Let's see if it takes this time. He can certainly refuse to call on her, much less give her one on one interviews.

He sues, Tech says, "you're on your own, we have nothing to do with this, good luck."
He wins--gets an injunction against the NCAA, two game suspension.
And the whole college sports world explodes.

147 Personally, although I've been a big fan of college sports, I hope Sorsby and Tech kill the NCAA and college sports.

The NCAA has been corrupt as hell on it's very best day.
The stuff they gave SMU the death penalty for is just another Tuesday in the SEC.
Same for every other "powerhouse" school.

And NIL proves--these weren't better schools with better coaches and facilities:
They were just skimming the cream of the crop.

But now with NIL, college sports are completely dead.
Schools receiving state funds, non-profit tax breaks, have no right to have semi-pro sports.
They can keep the naming, the leagues, and all that--but the entirety of college sponsorship of sports, facilities, players, scholarships, everything, must be separate from the college and for-profit.

157 128 The Sorsby matter at Texas Tech is becoming more interesting.
Kid is at Indiana and then Cincy.
Becomes one of the top QB transfer prospects in the nation, chooses Tech.
Comes out that he bet on his team to win 2 years prior.
NCAA suspends him for the year. That's a death penalty in the NIL age.
He sues, Tech says, "you're on your own, we have nothing to do with this, good luck."
He wins--gets an injunction against the NCAA, two game suspension.
And the whole college sports world explodes.
And they're all pissed at ... Tech?
Big 10 and SEC talking like they're going to ban scheduling Tech.

And all it reveals is ... just how many schools are hiding the same--but with the help of the NCAA.
Especially where all sports are sponsored by DraftKings, et al.
Posted by: People's Hippo Voice at June 09, 2026 08:31 AM (73/SM)

167 From Wikipedia:

>On April 27, 2026, Sorsby checked into rehab for a sports gambling addiction; he placed thousands of bets on sporting events using online betting apps, against NCAA rules.[11] On May 26, 2026, Sorsby was denied his request for reinstatement for eligibility for the 2026 season.[citation needed]

On May 29, 2026, Sorsby admitted to placing over $90,000 in bets over four years on his own team 40 times and using family and friends' gambling accounts to evade detection.[12]

The NCAA denied Texas Tech's appeal for Sorsbys' reinstatement on June 5.[13] On June 8, a Texas judge granted Sorsby an injunction against the NCAA, preventing the organization from punishing Sorsby for violating the association's anti-gambling rules.[

190 Yet here is the red pill: the previously listed points are capitalist means of production for a market economy; without a socialist means of production, none of the utopian ideas are workable.

________

I encourage you all to visit r/AskSocialists. It is freaking AMAZING.

At no time has asking Socialists things been a fruitful endeavor. Marxian dialectics is a mess of self-referential anti-logic that presumes a number of different foundational hypotheses which have never been demonstrated to be true even once - so Socialists have always sounded insane when they talk.

The redditors all have the usual conceit - it was never done by us, it'll be different this time - and, in a sense, they're right. Nobody's been as stupid as our youth yet, so it's gonna be wild.

Case in point: I saw a bewildered Socialist asking why CA's socialist policies seem to be driving lots of people to move away. Another very confident Socialist replied that it wasn't happening, that these are capitalist lies - because mass migrations are not possible. A putative American said this.

That was the Pete Rose defense. Although it probably carried less weight there, since Rose may have used a closer earlier or some such move in a game he bet the Reds to win, thereby compromising their chances in the next game. Then they know how to give the right signals to the right people so that they can simply show up at the dealer like they're there to pick up the car, and the car is then just given to them (because the dealer thinks it's a legit pick up).

I - think - that the issue is that they're having difficulties getting their degree conferred. School says, "You're missing this requirement." Kid talks to school and says, "Your documentation says that this class satisfies that requirement." School says, "Oh, you're correct. That class, which you clearly took, satisfies that requirement." Kid: "So I'm done?" School: "Well, you're missing this (exact same) requirement."

I transferred from a JC to the Uni to finish up my education. At the JC I took a class in Statics, which didn't fulfill the requirement at the Uni for a class in Statics AND Dynamics, so I took the required class. When I aced it, the Uni gave me no credit towards my GPA, as I had taken Statics at the JC...

But even objectively good weather, it gets mud slides, fires that burn down towns, and rains that flood periodically.

And if you move to the north, where it’s realativey normal, you’re going to be paying in excess of 1.5m dollars to live in a hovel.

243 Trump DOJ to denaturalize 17 US citizens in rare move. Reminder: The Trump admin is arguing that naturalized citizens can be denaturalized if they lied during the naturalization process.

Both Elon Musk and Melania Trump are naturalized US Citizens who committed immigration fraud by working in the US when their visas expressly prohibited it. Then they lied about it during their naturalization process.

Hypocrisy is like the dark side of the force to MAGA. It's an energy field created by all MAGA that surrounds and penetrates them, binding them all together to own the libs but ultimately leading to their own destruction.

conservatism is all about hierarchy, and the profound conviction that people up the hierarchy ladder have rights and the people down the hierarchy ladder have duties.
The fact that they are holding the poors to much higher standards than the rich and powerful is not a bug, it is a feature : that is what their whole world view boils down to.

So they're finally testing the waters huh? They're going to figure out what problems come with this, adjust to them, then use it on a much larger scale.

They may not be dropping them entirely, but they sure seem to be distancing themselves. For at least the last two decades, WPATH, with an assist from the AAP has been the go-to source for supposed standards of care in pediatric gender confusion for practicing physicians who were happy to palm those uncomfortable decisions off on "expert" groups. Now, with WPATH's credibility crumbling, the troika of the AAP, WPATH and the Biden HHS (Democrat party) is embattled and being forced to play defense. And who was right smack dab in the center of those three entities? None other than the late-in-life gender switch faux-admiral: Dr. R. Levine.
