They Omit to Mention This Doctor Is Not a Real Doctor.
That headline substantially undersells the story.
She's not a practicing doctor, she's a "Health Equity Director" (DEI hire who makes DEI accusations about the medical system) for the famously non-partisan NAACP. A CNN doctor who painted a dark picture of President Donald Trump's health appears not to have practiced medicine since her residency, instead spending her career as a diversity, equity, and inclusion specialist.
She is also an "apostle" of a church whose leader describes Trump as the "antichrist."Ah. Well she might have some light bias, then.
"Doctor" Pernell is right: People who are 78 years old tend to suffer from a progressive medical condition called "aging."
Chris Pernell, a frequent television doctor on CNN and other news stations, warned last week that President Trump's broadly unremarkable diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency could be more than it seemed. "It is a disease that is progressive," Pernell said. "And what that means is that if there aren't conservative treatments, elevation, compression, medication, if needed, to treat accompanying ulcers or skin changes, it can worsen and actually put a person at risk for deep venous thrombosis."
Sounds like she was a DEI "doctor" all along, and bailed out before she started murdering people through malpractice.
Though Pernell does have an M.D. from the Duke University School of Medicine and completed a residency with the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, her LinkedIn page does not mention having treated patients. After completing her degree at Duke, receiving a Master's degree in public health from Columbia, and her time with Johns Hopkins, Pernell served as "Chief Strategic Integration and Health Equity Officer" at University Hospital in Newark, New Jersey. In that role, she drafted the hospital's first "equity and inclusion strategy," hired the hospital's first "director of equity and inclusion," and instituted mandatory implicit bias and structural racism training.
Pernell said during an October 2022 appearance on the Karen Hunter Show that she faced multiple compliance probes from hospital leadership, stemming in large part from her public criticism of Trump and Republicans. In 2021, for instance, she compared vaccine-skeptical Americans to white supremacists on MSNBC's airwaves. Pernell had resigned from the hospital a month earlier after an intensive and unsuccessful campaign to become CEO. She claimed during her conversation with Hunter that she had been "forced out," blaming her departure on...You'll never guess the last word in that sentence. Go ahead, guess. You'll never get it.

Even if you can't put anyone in prison over this (a fairly big 'if' - I'm not taking legal advice from one of those WH presstitutes), there is a lot of damage that can be done to Democrats if we move on with hearings and such. Remember that Pelosi was able to take the 'culture of corruption' mantra around Jack Abrahamoff (remember him?) all the way to retaking the House. If this action helps expand our majority in Congress after the midterms it's worth it.

I believe there was proof released of Hillary meeting illegally with religious groups and promising them financing during the campaign. On the surface, you might say "par for the course." However, there was also a court case on this filed against the DNC, and negotiated to a settlement. My guess is that the documentation being released is going to put a few parties in jeopardy of "lying under oath" in those cases.

I'm just noting that the noises from the WH are leaning much more towards "we're doing something" than "we're giving up" which was the assertion people were making over the WH making a comment about the 5 year statute of limitations.

Galatians 1:15-18:

Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to visit Cephas and remained with him fifteen days."
The implication here is that Paul spent those three years in Arabia (a desert) being taught by the Holy Spirit. Upon his visit to Peter, at this point he's equipped to become an apostle as that is the same amount of time that the other disciples spent with Jesus.

It actually didn't take long. No council determined the books of the Bible, they only affirmed them and fought against heresy. Christians in the late 1st and early 2nd century were in general agreement "yep, these are the ones in the New Testament." The Old Testament had already been established before Jesus was born.

In any case, I intend to throw myself on the mercy of the court and claim Jesus’ intercession on my behalf which he accomplished on the Cross. I will never be perfected in this life, but only after it!

The first compiled and published "codex" of the Bible that we have found was the Codex Sinaiticus which is 4th century, but the writings of Christians for centuries before that demonstrate that they considered the New Testament complete and Biblical long before someone put them into a single book.
It was incredibly expensive to make a book back then, and was massively labor intensive, they just didn't do it very often. And, its not impossible (in fact likely) that previous books were made and lost or destroyed. We don't know.
But we do know that the New Testament was formed and recognized long before that.

The Council of Rome (382 AD - ish). By this time, there were the various Gnostic "gospels" and various epistles being distributed around the Mediterranean.
This Council defined which books were inspired and consistent with the Apostolic teachings. The Council also affirmed the books in the Septuagint (the Greek translation of the Old Testament).
