35 My cats are not the type to over eat so i have bowls of food out all the time plus i give wet at mealtimes. You can look up to see if your cats are overweight -- the ones you have may just be working back to natural weight. You should be able to just feel the ribcage.

12 pounds is not too bad for a normal male cat, or even a female tho they are lighter than males by a few pounds. For wet a small 3.5 oz or a bit less per meal is about what mine eat per cat. 2 meals a day.

MegaRoy open / free grazes on about a cup of dry food per 24 hour period, he also gets about half a foil packet of bisque wet food mixed with a 1/4 teaspoon of clear fiber and a dose (1x day) of probiotic. He's a big boy at 16.5 pounds, but he's a Maine Coon and that is kinda smallish for the breed.

I don’t feed dry food at all to my cats, but some grains for cats are okay. As you know, they aren’t carnivores. The are obligate omnivores, so they would get veggies and grains in a whole prey diet. Mine get canned and raw. I would prefer sorghum in my dog food as a grain over pea fiber and wood filler.

I spend a boat load of money on cat food and now dog food. Yet village dogs are out there eating scraps and doing fine, lol.

I've never heard that before but I have heard not to stare at a predator.

I just had a coyote here about a month ago killing chickens and my husband was after it on one side of the house and I didn't know it and reacted by screaming at it and chasing it away and that monster coyote came back and stared me down. I didn't move because by then I figured out my husband was on it and I wanted him to take care of it. He only got one shot and he missed but he chased that thing for two miles.
He was a bold one and he killed 6 chickens that day.
