Saturday Night "Club ONT" May 31, 2025 [The 3 Ds]

20250530-BeerGlasses2.jpg

Welcome to Club ONT! A collaboration of your Sunday through Wednesday ONT Crew - The Disco, The Doggo, and The Dino. Tip your bartender - even if you are the bartender (self respect matters).

Does beer really need to be that complicated? How many different glasses do you really need to enjoy beer? Club ONT appreciates a good sudsy treat but we're simple folk. Belly up to the bar, pour one out for those that came before, and enjoy your overnight hours with the Horde.

Saturday Night Jokes

A man goes to a female dentist to have a tooth extracted. She pulls out a large syringe to give him an anesthesia shot.

"No way, no needles! I hate needles!" the man exclaims

So she starts to hook up the nitrous oxide tank, and the man says, "I can't do the gas thing either. Just the thought of having a mask on my face suffocates me!"

The dentist then asks the patient if he had any objections to taking a pill. "No," he says, "I'm fine with pills." So the lady dentist gives him two little blue pills and he swallows them. "What are those?" he asks. "Viagra," she calmly replies.

"I didn’t know Viagra works as a pain killer," said the amazed man.

"It doesn't," said the lady, "But it'll give you something to hold on to when I pull your tooth."

Club Motorsport

This is the time of year for the Isle of Man Tourist Trophy races. Lunatics on motorcycles and sidecars hurtle around the countryside around a 37.73 mile loop on public roads. If it was easy, everyone would do it. It isn't easy. Few can do it.

Find the schedule and follow all the results on the Isle of Man TT website here.

More humor.

Jimmy Murphy, a City Councillor from Dublin, was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought about the allegations of torture of suspected terrorists. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.

HIS STATEMENT: "If hooking up one fookin' rag-head terrorist's testicles to a car battery gets the truth out of the lying little camel shagger to save just one Irish soldier's life, then I have only three things to say: red is positive, black is negative, and make sure his nuts are wet."

Just take the shot.

I turned fifty earlier this month and celebrated by cracking open a molar. It apparently had been a cavity whose pain I misread three years ago and forgotten. The tooth was a total loss, and broke further three times while they were extracting it.

But I can say the numbing agent they used was super effective. And the Ibuprofen pills they prescribed are super effective. But based on the pain I felt between the time the numb wore off and the pill kicked in?

Just take the shot.

107 So after growing up in TX, I find myself in Nebraska where everything is NU football, all the time, and the slogan is "Go Big Red." A few weeks ago, we were in an ice cream parlor and they had a flavor on the board called "Big Red." Took me a minute to realize that they didn't mean the soda.

109 Couple of comments. One aspect of the Isle of Man is that given its location, parts of the 'track' might well have rain, while the rest is dry. Makes the circuit more interesting. Then, for most of the circuit, an off-circuit excursion will likely bring the rider into something really, really solid.

Another aspect are the infinite transitions from heavily shaded to brightly sunlit. Screws up your depth perception.

223 Bigfoot sighting in Monroe woods deemed credible by tracking group

The Detroit News

Edward Henry and his 12-year-old son went bow fishing May 18 in a swampy forest in southeast Monroe, according to Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization, an Akron, Ohio, group that tracks sightings of the mythical creature.

They heard rustling in a tree and then a loud thud on the ground, said the group. A big, heavy animal headed toward them in the brush until it was intercepted by their dog.

The creature then moved quickly past trees and up a slope with the dog in hot pursuit until Henry called him back...

The Henrys, who were interviewed by the Bigfoot group after filing a report with it, said the animal was as big as a bear and looked like a gorilla.

They won't really know until Sol's fart material hits the L1 sensors, about 1 million miles away from Erf, then radios the data back. That gives about 30 minutes lead time.

The main thing is "B_z", the (ecliptic) northward component of the fart's magnetic field. If that's negative, bucking Erf's field, that's when you get the light show, and the wig-woggling of the Erf's own field (your compass would get a little wonky if it's strong enough), which induces the currents in the long E-W wires stretched out across the continent and all that.

Well, a guess on my part, but that's the sort of geologic environment in which such deposits are found. And I think Man has only one "n". I would like to do exploratory drilling in southern Alberta around Black Butte, which is part of the Sweetgrass Hills intrusive complex, mostly seen in Montana. Granitic intrusions piercing Mississipian limestones might have an aura of lead-zinc mineralization. Or gold, even.

'Barnyard'.

I asked her 'what the hell does that mean?' (It was one of my runs.) She said it meant that it tasted a bit too strongly of white pepper. I asked her why she did not just say that.

In my humble opinion, you need to march yourself down to an old folks attorney before you're too broke to afford one.

My mother-in-law was down to part ownership of a house and 1500/mo social security. The atty was able to help move the house out of her name so only the SS remained as an asset. California is providing 70 hours/week funding for a caregiver. She is 95 and unable to care for herself. I have no idea what would happen if she had no one to care for her.

Your situation maybe different and of course different state but you need to see what your options are from someone who knows your states laws.

Good luck to you always. Sorry you are in such a difficult situation.
