The FBI, Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) coauthored the December 13, 2021 intelligence product whose title reads, "DVEs and Foreign Analogues May React Violently to COVID-19 Mitigation Mandates." The report cites criticism of mandates as "prominent narratives" related to violent extremism. These narratives "include the belief that COVID-19 vaccines are unsafe, especially for children, are part of a government or global conspiracy to deprive individuals of their civil liberties and livelihoods, or are designed to start a new social or political order. "It's a way they could go to social media companies and say, 'You don't want to propagate domestic terrorism so you should take down this content,'" said former FBI agent Steve Friend. Bhattacharya, speaking to his employees, told them the truth. He didn't assert the unprovable--he merely stated the obvious: gain-of-function research is dangerous, and the American people want it stopped. And his employees freaked out, stormed out, and their colleagues applauded them for doing so. Dr. Francis Collins, when he was NIH Director, commissioned a "devastating takedown" of the Great Barrington Declaration, and he later admitted that the argument put forth by Dr. Bhattacharya and others was reasonable, but politically inconvenient. He did this because the recommendations were ones he and Fauci rejected, not because they were obviously wrong or outside public health norms. In other words, the very institution charged with promoting public health suppressed scientific discussion for its own institutional reasons, not the public good. This isn't even in dispute these days. Yet NIH employees don't want to hear the truth, so they walked out on their boss.

I have a full beard (which also renders a mask useless but that's another stupid idiotic thing) and my beard pulls the mask down when I talk. She kept yelling at me that she would have to kick me out of the clinic if I didn't quit pulling my mask down. I know of at least two others, non-provisional, who were fired outright during that period. I am not aware of any unionized employees at the District Level of USACE. The operating engineers are, but not the military ones, and we don't have many operating engineers in AK District.
Now there is a RIF, and people will either retire, leave, or be fired. It is not impossible, at all.

Last summer as I was driving I saw a teenaged girl riding a bicycle down an empty sidewalk. She had her mask below her nose but more notably a phone in her that had 100% of her attention.
As I drove by I was praying she was not lose control and drift into the road.

At my old job, they made a performative display of marching out to the curb people that didn't want to muzzle up. Then they granted indulgences to the vast majority that lined up to get the jab. They gave them extra vacation days and allowed them to take off the muzzles. They would gather around and sneer at the few of us marked with the mask that wouldn't take the jab. They would usually tell me I could get one at the courtesy counter. I thanked them and said I’ll go up there and get one though I never did. Luckily they never had me follow them to get it at which time I would have just left my basket of groceries and left the store.

They banned playing tennis outdoors first couple of months. People ignored the ban in a few places I played and the powers to be took down the nets. We found other places though. Needless to say they were packed with people waiting their turn to play,

It was weird taking walks around my neighborhood. Very, very few cars on the major arterials, and absolutely no traffic on the side streets. Nobody outdoors. I took to walking down the middle of the street, wondering if the cops would have a problem with that.

If China did it, why were the Western bad actors so johhny on the spot with the shots? They are clearly malicious, in a massively complex way, supported by extensive fraud both to regulators abd in aupporting (faked) studies... work on them was moving by mid- december 2019, officially, and even that timeline is BS.
