The whole book is something of a take off on the Byronic romantic story from the point of view of someone who survived the Byronic romantic story, so it is quite odd, and quite compelling. Thom Tillis is a disgrace. A weak, unqualified puppet of the NED and the USGLC, with zero military backbone, who sabotaged you not for wrongdoing, but for asking the one question that terrifies the regime: What if their January 6 narrative is a lie? That alone was enough to trigger their panic. Because truth is dangerous to institutions built on lies. Oh yeah. And let's be honest. That @SenThomTillis got on a bunch of powerful committees and became besties with USGLC within just two months of becoming Senator is way more suspicious than mis-categorizing a trailer park sale. ... ...I cannot find evidence that he was ever involved or interested in foreign policy before 2015. My guess is that Mitch McConnell quickly identified him as a "team player" and positioned him for a quick rise. @SenJohnCurtis is on the same path.… _ compilation Posted by: Braenyard - some Absent Friends are more equal than others _ at May 08, 2025 08:14 PM (lCWOD) 114

Thank you, Steve Woods Photography! My Daddy, God Almighty (Abba, El Shaddai) wants me to forgive you, so since it’s Him telling me, I’m gonna do it. It ain’t easy, let me tell you: I asked you for a fish, and while you really only gave me nothing, it sure seemed, in my hyperventilating panic, like a scorpion. So I forgive everyone, so there! Let bygones be bygones, I meant it! and goodnight nurse! is just something my late paternal grandmother used to say, in extremis. Posted by: NemoMeImpuneLacessit at May 08, 2025 08:38 PM (YSv5G) 214

The East River in NYC is somewhat of a maelstrom, especially near Hell's Gate. Huge water coming down the Hudson from the north, Ocean water and tides from NY Bay to the south, and The Long Island Sound entering from the east, also tidal. The General Slocum sidewheeler sank near Hell's Gate in a fire in 1904. 1,201 people perished. Many were women and children going on a church excursion. Nearly wiped out the Lower EastSide German immigrant community.

What happened at Lake Peigneur was that they drilled into a shaft of a large salt mine that wasn’t on their geological maps. There’s video around of it somewhere. The most amazing thing that gives an idea of the size of the cavern opened up underground was that there were 6 large barges on that lake, and they all got sucked down into that hole. But that wasn’t the end! After the ocean came up the channel and flowed into the hole for 3 days, suddenly all 6 barges popped back up to the surface, in good shape! (That would have been a hell of a ride!)

New Delhi: Indian security forces have captured a Pakistani pilot in Rajasthan's Lathi area after his JF-17 fighter jet was shot down near the border, India TV sources have confirmed. The wreckage of the aircraft was found near Jaisalmer, and a search operation is underway for any additional crew members or debris. Search is underway for another pilot of the Pakistan Army, sources said.
... A day of pride for India. A day of shame for Pakistan's armed forces. Within a span of 25 minutes, our Army and Air Force destroyed terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) by launching missiles and drones. The headquarters of terror masterminds Hafiz Sayeed and Masood Azhar were reduced to rubble, deep inside Pakistani territory.... None of the past PMs managed to avenge the killings of our citizens in this manner. One of my friends from Goa sent me this famous Raaj Kumar dialogue: (I shall definitely kill you, but in my own time, with my own gun and my own bullet. Only the place shall belong to you). 'Mullah' General Asim Munir and his pet terror masterminds have now realised, what happened post-midnight was only a trailer. Perfessor, technically, (akchuallly) kimchi is pretty much any vegetable lactofermented with lots and lots of chili and Doenjangguk (which is a soybean paste like miso, but definitely isn't miso because miso is Japanese) .
Napa cabbage is the main type of kimchi, as is daikon, or daikon leaves, but anything will do. Hard core kimchi also has raw oysters, tiny shrimp and maybe baby octopuses in it too, it gives it a lot of "umami" I am told the type of kimchi you make is dependent on the weather since during the hot summer it gets ripe too fast. Think that happened on VJ Day.
