Yeah, I don't really think much of this. I think it's being rescinded so that he can issue another executive order that avoids the fake "confusion" better.

The media went berserk over this.

The Talking Points they had been fed by their Democrat allies was that Trump was freezing Social Security and Medicare payments. No matter how clear the answer that these payments were unaffected -- they're not federal grants, they're entitlements -- the media kept badgering.

The stupid, ignorant, fact-free media kept insisting that this simple, clear situation was full of "confusion:"

The other Talking Point they kept insisting on was that all the dozens of Transgender Equity Justice Studies that are getting their grift cut off should have been given a half year grace period so they can secure other funding without disruption of their Very Important Work.

It's a long overdue measure that is, unfortunately, absolutely necessary because the federal government not only wastes billions or even trillions of dollars funding shady NGOs and consultants, but these NGOs often use this money in ways that harm America. The border crisis was largely funded through federal grants to NGOs that trafficked illegal aliens to the US border, and NGOs within the United States used federal funds to disperse those aliens around the country and provide services to them.
Federal monies were also dispersed to all sorts of alphabet programs, DEI advocates, CRT, and God knows what else. Which is the point.
Not to mention that these grants, indirectly, fund the radical activist groups that have been undermining our culture and our politics, and are often landing places for political operatives in between campaigns. Democrats have been brilliant about using the taxpayers' money to subsidize their campaign organizations, and to use well-paid spots for political operatives they want to reward.

Yesterday, Karoline Leavitt revealed that Biden had ordered, on his own kingly authority, fifty million dollars to be given to the terrorists of Gaza for... condoms.

You know what causes me "confusion"? Why the fuck we're paying terrorists $50 million in slush fund monies supposedly for The Biggest Palette of Condoms In the World when we know that's going straight to digging tunnels and building IEDs.

In 2021, the Biden administration gave $540,000 to "Transgender Equity Consulting, Inc."

This firm is comprised of "six black and Latinx transgender and nonbinary individuals" – one whom is apparently the "first BBW trans porn star."

NGOs are the preferred way that leftists get the government to fund things that would be difficult or impossible to do through the normal budget process. The censorship complex was largely funded through grants both here and abroad, getting around First Amendment protections by exporting the worst of the dirty work to "nonprofits" that essentially act as government agents.

This is arguably the single most important aspect of Trump's funding freeze.
The immigration crisis isn't an accident. It's a well-oiled system, facilitated by powerful NGOs--and funded by your tax dollars.
By defunding the NGOs, Trump is crippling the entire system.

Here's what just happened: Last week, President Trump signed an executive order suspending refugee admissions into the U.S.
Then, the State Department went a step further--they issued a "stop-work" order to their NGO "partners," suspending all funding for refugee resettlement.
The NGOs were beside themselves. And for good reason--very few of these groups are self-sufficient. Most of them are sustained by the federal tax-dollar gravy train. The immigration crisis is being financed by your government--with your money.
Hence, their outraged statements...
To be clear, these NGOs exist to subvert U.S. immigration law at every step of the process--actively transporting migrants into the country, fighting enforcement efforts at the border, resettling migrants in American towns and cities, and lobbying for open border policies in D.C.
And again, they've been doing it on your dime. For the past four years, The Biden State Department has been mainlining taxpayer funds to groups that run an end-to-end mass migration network, beginning deep in South America and finishing with resettlement in American communities.
They provide "humanitarian transportation" to ferry immigrants up to our border, waypoints with shelter and medical services along the way, Spanish-language maps showing the best route to the U.S., and legal services for immigrants to beat our immigration laws once they get here.
Oh, and money. They just give them cash cards, vouchers, and often even just stacks of cash in envelopes.
Tough to think of a more direct 1:1 redistribution: You pay your taxes. Your government sends that money to the NGOs. The NGOs hand it to immigrants. You work, they benefit.
Ten of these major immigration NGOs--known as VOLAGS ("Voluntary Agencies")--have contracts with the State Department's Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration (PRM), which provides them with the funding to resettle migrants in the U.S.

Most of these groups are only able to operate because of the federal government.
Take the USCCB: In 2023, they received $129.6M in federal grants for migration services. They spent $130.5M on migration services.
Their immigration activities are almost 100% taxpayer-funded.
Or take the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service. (Which, unlike the USCCB as an overall organization, is exclusively focused on immigration).
In FY 2023, 96.65% of their revenue came from federal grants and contracts, to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars.
Or take the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society--a group that we made an entire video about last year. (See below).
If you're looking for the villain at the center of the immigration crisis, it's these guys. The refugee NGOs are a fifth column in American politics. And they've essentially been acting as an extension of the federal government.
But not anymore. This is a big, big win.

Yeah, I stopped giving to most 2nd collections years ago. Charity begins at home, and my Church tithes 10% of its collection to groups that its own parishioners vote to give it to, so I only give money in 2nd collections for my own Church's stuff and the Arlington Catholic Herald (b/c I will pay to keep up with my diocese's news).

I also have a rule that my bishop gets 1/52 of my pastor's yearly donation...and the Pope gets 1/52 of that...yes, that does mean I only give the Pope a couple bucks each year, but since you're supposed to look after your own neighbor 1st, not the one 5 countries over, I'm okay with that...

Suits that find that regulatory agencies are acting out of accordance with laws will trigger a requirement that the agency must present legislation to Congress within 30 days giving them authority to do what the suit is in question. It should not to much extent, they compete for 3 to 5 year funding so the regular main funding should be locked in. Some programs write separate proposals to NSF and might have a longer than normal wait period, but those NSF grants have quite a long period between application and getting money so I don't know if any of them will be affected.

Honestly my work is not directly fraudulent like USAID, but they have fed the climate change BS, and all the stupid policies that has driven probably cost american businesses more. So if we feel some pain so be it; the effing global climate group should have been more careful not to let their internal biases and what the commie gubmint drones were looking drive their conclusions.

You never know. I tend to think that release of the JFK and the Epstein files aren't going to do Israel (and Mossad) any favors. I especially feel that way on the Epstein files. Tucker is of course susceptible to being used by people who want to put out false information. I think he's willing to listen to anyone, and then let the facts speak for themselves, one way or the other.

I expect there will be false claims around the assassinations. But I also expect a lot of cognitive dissonance to occur, if/when some of the things Israel does that are not in the interests of the American people, get exposed.

Did they have a role in the JFK murder? Hell if I know. Probably not. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Making a third party only works if you totally kill the second one and absorb parts of both. The GOP was born when the Whig Party died and a new coalition formed to address the big issue of the 1850s.

A system that rewards splinter parties will lead to destruction as we see in European parliaments where coalitions can be formed for decades to block reform.
