Democrats Becoming Increasingly Unhinged, Trivial, and Insane as They Fail to Lay a Glove on Hegseth
Update: Attack of the Karens

karensseize.jpg

A Republican Senator named Sheehy made a good point here:

SENATOR TIM SHEEHY: How many genders are there?

HEGSETH: Two.

SHEEHY: I know that well, I'm a "she-he (Sheehy)." What is the diameter of a rifle round fired out of an M4A1?

HEGSETH: 5.56.

SHEEHY: How many pushups can you do?

HEGSETH: I did 5 sets of 47 this morning.

SHEEHY: Most important strategic base is in the Pacific?

HEGSETH: Guam.

SHEEHY: How many rounds of 5.56 can you fit into the magazine of an M4 rifle?

HEGSETH: Standard issue is 30.

SHEEHY: What size round is the M9 Beretta standard issue sidearm for the military?

HEGSETH: 9mm.

SHEEHY: What kind of batteries do you put in your night vision goggle?

HEGSETH: Duracell.

SHEEHY: You represent what warfighters deal with every day on the battlefield. You understand them. What happens is - decisions made in rooms like this cause d*ad 17, 18, 19-year-old Americans. Your priority is warfighters. I support you.

This mewling pussy wanted to know what "jagoff" meant. He thought he'd really nailed Hegseth on using the word. (I assume that Hegseth must have used it.)

Tammy Duckworth imposes a new requirement on the DOD: He must be a forensic accountant had have a history of "leading an audit" of organizations.

We have literally never asked anyone to be a forensic accountant before to lead any government agency.

But they're losing, so they're now pretending they want an audit of the DOD and the SecDef must be a forensic accountant.

Nice:

Update: Pete Hegseth's manager has never been in such high demand.

The scrunt senator (before Mullins came on and was fire, didn't catch their name) demanded that Hegseth had to prove that he can run a profitable enterprise, I think. Something like that. That he can cut budgets and turn a profit. And now apparently he has to prove he can audit as well.

Whose pentagon failed their audit and had billions unaccounted for? Where was this feet to the fire, fiscal conservatism when Biden was in office?

I'm very socially libertarian, my most conservative aspect is the fiscal/constitutional side. They never made a peep about people like Ted Turner doing the exact fucking thing that they tried to pin on Sheehy.

I was skeptical about Tim Sheehy, given past experience with guys like Eye-Patch McCain. but, he might do well after all. But, politicians gotta politician. Better than Tester, at any rate.

Go to paper ballots and results being posted at 11 PM in national elections, a lot of Democrats will go away for good. Margin of fraud in vote by mail and universal registration election day states probably exceeds 15-20 percent. Normal is about 5 percent in Dem run urban areas in well run states. Probably even less now in Florida due to DeSantis. GOP is competitive in Miami-Dade county for example.

I was MIA yesterday and didn't get to comment in the Bass thread. The only legit trip she took overseas last year was to Paris for the Olympics , because LA is hosting the games in 2028. I'll give her that it makes sense to see what the competition is doing, and to build those contacts for setting up the games.

If she gets thrown out, that whole Paris trip will be extra wasteful, all her experience there for nothing. But I will happily take that, if someone actually doing the job competently can take over.

You have to have people who are outside the military orbit ask questions as well, but they should be serious people, not these fluff for brains. Also, never forget that Dick Blumenthal was deep in the s***, so you'd better never question his credentials.

Reminds me of that short-lived commercial that had the ref standing stoically on the sideline as the coach was shouting in his face with the implied question "how does he do it?" followed by a shot of him at home and his wife haranguing him.

The problem is it is written in the fashion of a very cliff notes history. It details the events, a lot of the cross references of events, but is more written as why Tolkien made it- to create a detailed foundational history for the story he was writing.

Regarding LA fires, I heard a story that lithium ion batteries in power consumption meters mounted on the exterior of smart homes may have played a role in igniting a fire or two out there.

Jefferson kept mum and did not tell Congress about broadening the Louisiana Purchase opportunity because he knew the hacks of the time would hem and haw probably killing the deal. Instead, he wrote a hot check on the Treasury without congressional authorization to buy the land before Napoleon (or the other Napoleonic war types like Britain) could get involved. Jefferson, despite his nature, felt it was better to ask forgiveness post hoc than authorization.

Last of all Húrin stood alone. Then he cast aside his shield, and wielded an axe two-handed; and it is sung that the axe smoked in the black blood of the troll-guard of Gothmog until it withered, and each time that he slew Húrin cried: ‘Aurë entuluva! Day shall come again!’ Seventy times he uttered that cry, but they took him at last alive, by the command of Morgoth, for the Orcs grappled him with their hands, which clung to him stil through he hewed off their arms; and ever their numbered were renewed, until at least he fell buried beneath them. Then Gothmog bound him and dragged him to Angband with mockery.

Or imagine another brigade of men in dresses with S&M leather gear. Our enemy would pause, laugh hysterically, then mow them down. With the former Sec of Defense being absent without anyone noticing for his prostate surgery is a tell of how well oiled they were under Joe Golden Leg Hair.

Women, IF they can pass the same physical requirements for soldiers/Marines in the past, then fine. I guess. I am sick of this crap. Sick of shrieking harpies. Sick of raciss and any isms or ogynists. It is not 1950. Women have rights, salaries and jobs. They can vote. Can they think in Congress? I'd say Warren is an example that points to NO.

I am also sick of the Dims in Congress, who allow and possibly pay disruptors like Code Pink. Aging old commie Dims always protesting something and whining. While I never watch, can anyone recall of the same process happens for Dim nominees by Dim presidents?

Two Towers had a lot of problems, not the least of which was Aragorn falling off a cliff and the worst being the treatment of Faramir. A lot of the book was rewritten (Ents were unaware of the forest being torn down and burned???) and that movie I about walked out of.

Return had problems but other than the ludicrously extended ending replacing the glorious Scourging of the Shire it was overall rewarding.

I can't think of a better band for that rally given they were central to Trump rallies and were the background music that helped create the Trump dance.

529 But, all those harridans need their face time, their 15 seconds of playing to the base. A couple will be on tonights network broadcast, so that's why they do it.
Right, Jim Jordan? Fey Gowdy?

Their base doesn't care, really, they just want to feel important.

532 HEGSETH: I did 5 sets of 47 this morning.

Why 47? That's a weird number. Why not do 50?

Duh! President Donald John Trump is the clue. Get it yet?

533 I dunno guys..... republican media seems to think Hegseth did great.......... but Halperin/Spicer/Turrentine on 2-Way think he is sunk....that 5 or 6 or 7 Republican Senators are still a big "No"......... this is one of those situations where everyone is pushing a narrative and it's impossible to know the truth.

534 How many forensic audits did Mayor Buttplug do before Tammy voted to confirm him for SecTrans?

537 Why are these harridans---for that is what they are--so intent on women in combat? I can think of a lot of places where a woman can/might do as well as a man in combat. Helicopter pilot, navigator on a ship, fighter pilot etc.

But where physical strength is an issue (I'm a former 11-Hotel Direct Fire gunner)--as it is in ground combat, most women would be a liiability. Infantry combat is a young--strong--man's game. And I also think that artillery combat involves a lot of physical strength--those artillery rounds aren't cupcakes to handle.

He can hurl personal insults but can't take them. Trump wins again!

540 A fascinating mix of opinions here! It's clear people are passionate about these topics, whether it's political accountability, cultural dynamics, or just a bit of humor to lighten the mood. Always interesting to see these debates unfold.

541 I've never seen these Karens in combat. But I've seen mothers in laws and Karens like these and once a month they can be seen using a flamethrower on the wounded. When they serve I'll pay them mind, till then, bless their hearts.

542 It is well that Hegseth is focused on the war fighters.
He needs to remake the DOD into an organization focused on the mission of the military. It is to fight and win wars, thereby defending the United States from any external foe.
Everything that the Biden administration, powered by the Democrats, has done over the last four years has served to weaken our ability to fulfill that mission.
You don't need ill equipped semi literate people of any gender in the uniforms of our military. You need the best of us, properly motivated, properly trained, properly equipped, properly led, and properly supported in their mission. DEI is antithetical to that outcome.
While there is a role that women can serve in the military, very few, if any, are qualified and prepared for a role in combat. The reduction of standards of physical and mental acuity that currently allow women into hard core combat programs is beyond stupid, it is criminal.
