Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | The Morning Report — 1/14/25California’s fires expose systemic neglect, where poor leadership, declining standards, and ignored maintenance have left a first-world city vulnerable to chaos. One more time for you Christopher, THE IDEOLOGY IS THE INCOMPETENCE I think we've beaten this to death, but no doubt long after the last embers have been extinguished, the aftermath and the way forward for residents and all of us alike will be debated well into the future, because there are ramifications for all of us, especially with the swearing in of Donald Trump and his team just one week from tomorrow. Thank God! And speaking of ideology and incompetence with more than a mere soupçon of dementia and plain old Jew-hatred, we have Israel under the gun yet again as Biden is prepared to be wheeled out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Biden made the puzzling remarks on Monday evening at the State Department alongside Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “I put together one of the most competent foreign policy teams, I would argue, in American history,” Biden claimed.America-hating, anti-semitic globalist stooges who greased the wheels for Putin to invade Ukraine by first overthrowing its legitimately elected government in a color revolution, bugging out of Afghanistan and leaving Muslim savages in control and gifting them with billions in our weaponry along with still shoveling billions of dollars at them, greasing the wheels for Iran to go nuclear (and they are closer than ever), stabbing Israel in the chest by tying their hands after the bloodiest anti-Jewish massacre since the end of WW2 with the invasion from Gaza, all of this collective signaling to the Chi-coms that invading Taiwan would indeed be tolerated. As for Israel, it faces enemies on multiple battlefronts but the illegitimate and feral Biden junta has transitioned America from ally to enemy. In an attempt to somehow polish the diseased turd of his reputation and really to hamstring the incoming Trump administration, Biden has got Arafat's Webley pointed at Bibi's head. The Biden junta is planning a “January surprise” that is “modeled directly on the January surprise of the Obama administration in 2016—that is U.N. Resolution 2334, which basically, to put it a little bit crudely, recognized the Green Line that is the June 5, 1967, ceasefire lines that separated Israel from Jordan as an international boundary,” Michael Doran, senior fellow at the Hudson Institute and director of its center for peace and security in the Middle East, said on his podcast on Dec. 31. . . . . . Speaking with his co-host Gadi Taub, an Israeli historian and writer, Doran said that the Obama administration’s surprise meant that “any development that Israel has made to the east of the Green Line since the 1967 War is recognized by the U.N. as an illegal settlement.” Trump takes over very soon. January 20 can’t come soon enough. They'll belch out the lie that Israel is blocking aid to Gaza and use that as a pretext to invoke some bullshit excuse to cut off military aid. The usual commies and commie self-gassers in Congress are pushing this hard, of course. So, it's not a last-second hostage or, sadly likelier hostage corpses deal in exchange for the release of the savage Muslim terrorists (BIR-R-M), it's perhaps trying to shove Israel back to what is correctly deemed the Auschwitz borders of pre June 1967. How about no way in Hell and Vayr Ge-hargit should be Bibi's response. As for any jailed terrorists, they should be given pagers and cell phones as parting gifts. And or a visit to an Israeli dental clinic to have their teeth filled with fulminate of Mercury and Semtex amalgam with a tiny bluetooth - BLUETOOTH, get it?!!!! receiver installed. Have a great day. U.N. Resolution 2334
I'd like to see Israel state that the UN is illegitimate. It's never done anything to protect the lives and territory of Israel, only hinder them. The downside of doing so would probably be immense, though, as it would allow more nations to be openly anti-Semitic by proclaiming that Israel had abandoned the international order. The AG of Texas has just sued Allstate. The company built an illegal tracking system utilizing multiple cell phone apps, and also procured data from manufacturers in order to track not only their customers, but a total of approximately 45 million people. They used this to 'adjust' pricing for their auto insurance, and they also sold their data to other insurers.

How much of it is voting and how much is cheating? It's not like there are no Republicans elected in CA but it only happens in areas where the vote harvesting and ballot stuffing is kept under some control. It will be tough for Republicans to take back statewide control but I think it's mainly because Democrats have made the elections so corrupt. No sh#t, really? Is this dude writing this with a straight face -- as if he's just made a breakthrough discovery all on his own? New Yorkers learned this when they had a mayor who was so obsessed with micromanaging consumption of oversize fountain drinks and salt that he failed to clear the roads, get trash picked up after a blizzard. Chicagoans learned this when they has a mayor more interested in dressing in costume for tiktok videos than stopping unchecked gang violence. I could go on, but we can ALL come up with examples of major city and blue state leaders prancing around addressing their silly pet Lefty issues while their city/state can't meet the residents' most basic, everyday needs. No, no thanks, dude, we will NOT be learning alongside you as you finally figure out your alleged Democrat leaders are self-absorbed, arrogant, greedy narcissists. I've noticed that the media hardly ever mentions the discipline of a university professor when they get in the news. It's almost as if that's not important. For me, I like to know if this person is teaching a bullshit subject or a solid discipline. Franke is a lesbian, looks like a man and is probably part of Gays for Palestine. I posted what follows in response to Professor Reynolds posting a NY Post article on Insty on the weekend.
I'm a habitual reader of the NY Post. But I didn't need the Post to learn of this story of a 14-year old murdered in the morning while he walked to school. Friday morning I could see in real time where it happened and the crime scene aftermath with the flashing lights and the yellow tape from my window. I live in the South Bronx by choice. I grew up in a mostly Italian enclave that's in the nearby Bronx part of AOC's 14th CD. So the optics of the South Bronx don't bother me, but local government malfeasance does. A key fact in this horrific incident is that the perp was arrested last week for knifing a guy waiting for the 6 subway at the 138 station that you can see in the photo above. It's not 20 yards from where this kid got murdered this week. Why was the perp back on the street? I like my neighborhood. There's good people here. Including I presume the father who had to hear his son's dying words by cell phone. Posted by: Ignoramus at January 14, 2025 08:43 AM (Gqoy+) 152

Since leftists voters will vote will vote solely on adherence to the leftist narrative and whole they believe will give them more free shit, leftist pols are incentivized to ignore competence and focus on woke and free shit. How much of it is voting and how much is cheating?
It's not like there are no Republicans elected in CA but it only happens in areas where the vote harvesting and ballot stuffing is kept under some control. --- Trump has proposed, and Congress can enforce it for federal elections: 1) paper in-person ballots, not mail in 2) counting completed by 10pm local time Those two alone would have seen him get 400+ EV last November. And a House with at least a 15 seat R majority. And probably 3 more R Senators. I think he knows this and so does his team. Posted by: People's Hippo Voice at January 14, 2025 09:08 AM (q2q1y) 223

That's true, Fen, but doesn't being head of the DNC require management skills? The only thing he may have ever managed was that Walk for Life - an activist march. It's amazing how in politics, the assumption always is that if you are a good at politics that you can magically be an executive, too. It takes more than speaking well and inspiring young people. As with the constant lawfare against President Trump, the process is the punishment. Recalling Governor Hairgel won't make a substantial difference to California because their state is overwhelmingly run by socialists, but recalling Hairgel will create more chaos for them and cause much grief and gnashing of teeth. A recall will also have a negative impact on Hairgel's prospects for 2028, which isn't a bad thing either. I say recall the commie sonofab*tch, and confusion to our enemies!

The NY Times has a very nice, related article entitled, 'Biden to Designate Two New National Monuments in California.' The decision means Mr. Biden will have protected about 674 million acres of federal land, more than any other president. By Lisa Friedman, Reporting from Washington, Published Jan. 7, 2025, Updated Jan. 13, 2025 A few paragraphs, "President Biden on Tuesday plans to create two national monuments in California that together will prevent mining and drilling as well as wind, solar and other energy development across more than 848,000 acres of desert and mountainous land in the state, a White House spokesman has confirmed." ... changed because of windy weather. Subsequent wildfires in the Los Angeles area, spread by high winds, have killed at least 24 people and displaced about 100,000. Mr. Biden intends to announce the monuments from the East Room of the White House."
"Both the Chuckwalla and Sáttítla monuments were created at the request of lawmakers and tribal organizations." (Note: Deb Haaland, the interior secretary and the first Native American to hold the post) And, now it also seems, as an environmental p*ssing match between the Biden-Harris & Trump-Vance administrations. Regardless, time's running out for B-H but is this the announcement - "saving" property serving as biodiversity & wildlife corridors - and the day & time for it? 🤷♀️ --- One thing I love about the thread, the author never forgets, as we read something that needs to be remembered in every weekday piece, from Babbit & Boyland; responses or lack thereof for the sufferings of hurricane ravaged N.
