Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Quick HitsAfter being trashed by the Canadian press for bending the knee to Trump and showing he's a weakling, the bastard son of Communist thug Fidel Castro offered a Strong statement that he would "respond" if Trump follows through on his pledge to slap a 25% tariff on all Canadian imports unless our communist neighbors to the north help stop illegals and drugs flowing across the border. ... Canada will "respond to unfair tariffs in a number of ways, and we're still looking at the right ways to respond, but our responses to the unfair steel and aluminum tariffs were what ended up lifting those tariffs last time," he said. Ted Cruz: Daniel Penny should sue the Soros out of Alvin Bragg. "Alvin Bragg is an absolute catastrophe. First, he indicted Donald Trump in a partisan case, and then he indicted Daniel Penny for saving the lives of other subway passengers from a deranged lunatic threatening to kill everyone," Cruz said in the statement. "Penny should sue Bragg for malicious prosecution and hold this rogue Soros prosecutor accountable."I don't know what the rules of a malicious prosecution lawsuit might be, or if Bragg is protected by sovereign immunity or what. I sure wish Penny could sue him and win bigly. America's Groomer Dad Tim Walz, a self-estimated "knucklehead," said he was totally surprised by Trump's victories because the hand-picked, professionally-curated attendees at his silly rallies were totally onboard with him and Kamala. "It felt like at the rallies, at the things I was going to, the shops I was going in, that the momentum was going our way, and it obviously wasn't," Walz told KSTP-TV's Tom Hauser, as the Washington Examiner reported. "So, yeah, I was a little surprised." It's easy to argue that Walz's surprise is due at least in part to the fact that Democrats stay within their bubbles far too often. Friendly interviews, failure to associate with anyone who doesn't fall in line with left-wing values, and a blind belief that only leftists are virtuous and right make for surprise when a leftist finds out that people who disagree with him exist. One can excuse Walz for sounding like a typical cosseted leftist for his surprise that the American electorate didn't welcome him and Harris with open arms, but the reason he thinks the ticket lost is downright laughable. You might want to sit down for this if you aren't already. "I really, I thought we had a positive message, and I thought the country was ready for that," he told Hauser. No, seriously -- that's what he thinks.Tim Walz's whole family went to the media to announce they were voting for Trump. I don't know how you lose your entire family but still convince yourself "America is with me." President Trump's already delivering. President-elect Donald Trump won't take office for another five weeks, but his election is already causing a sea change in America's illegal immigration crisis. In sprawling migrant camps across Mexico City, people are giving up their plans to cross into the United States and are instead planning to settle in Mexico or begin the long trek back home. 'I'm just going to give up and go back to Venezuela,' said a woman in one of the squalid encampments, where thousands of migrants have constructed tents with tarps and scrap material. 'I have children to take care of,' she added. 'I'll just go back because, with Donald Trump, it's going to be too hard.' This is a cruel reality for millions of people drawn to Mexico by the Biden administration's indulgent border policies -- only to find that Americans overwhelmingly rejected the misguided approach in the 2024 election. The young mother of two had hoped to have already entered the US through President Joe Biden's 'humanitarian parole' program known as CBP One. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has reported that, since January 2023, the federal initiative has allowed entry into the US for 771,000 migrants, at a rate of about 1,600 people a day. But that program was also quickly overwhelmed by the volume of requests resulting in a massive backlog. Now, the Trump transition team says the program will end on Day One of the new administration.Elon Musk wants all federal workers to actually come back to work. Not only does he personally believe in the importance of actual physical presence in a workplace, but he figures that many federal workers will quit rather than start working normal office hours again, thus giving him a bunch of self-firing bureaucrats. But the federal employees union, which must be decertified by Congress, is pushing back. While the GOPe continues to insist that the party be ruled by a gerontocracy hopelessly out of touch with today's actual party members -- and owned by corporate interests -- Democrats move to push their aging criminals out of committee leadership positions. The Democratic Party is shaking up its committee leadership in the House of Representatives following its crushing November election defeat. Despite failing to take back a majority, Democrats have retained their top leadership in the House of Representatives, tapping House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, House Minority Whip Katherine Clark and Democratic Caucus Chair Pete Aguilar to stay on in their current roles. Meanwhile, the knives have come out at the committee level, with a slew of Democratic representatives launching bids against more senior panel members for top committee posts. Democratic Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, 61, mounted a challenge against Democratic New York Rep. Jerry Nadler, 77, for the top role on the House Judiciary Committee on Dec. 2, with Nadler ultimately dropping out of the race Wednesday amid a surge of support for his younger opponent. "As our country faces the return of Donald Trump, and the renewed threats to our democracy and our way of life that he represents, I am very confident that Jamie would ably lead the Judiciary Committee as we confront this growing danger," Nadler wrote in a Dec. 4 Dear Colleague letter announcing he was dropping his bid. ... The Nadler coup reportedly comes amid a push from Democratic lawmakers for generational change as the party faces a second Trump administration, according to The New York Times. Congressional leaders, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, allegedly lobbied Raskin to challenge Nadler following Raskin's efforts as a leading force in President-elect Donald Trump's 2021 impeachment and the Jan. 6 investigation, with Nadler's opponents arguing he wasn't fit for the task of taking on Republican House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan.

That tweet by Trump about Governor Castro was some 4d chess but no one seems to have noticed. He was sending a message to China (and India) to keep their paws off.
Micheal Yon has mentioned a few times about how China already considers parts of Canada as a possession. (I don't know if he is nuts, but he explains that the number of toes on the dragon statues they put in front of their embassy has a symbolic meaning and Canada is already conquered in their slanty minds) So it was a joke and diss at Castro, but I think it was mainly a reminder to China about the Monroe Doctrine. They wrote that requiring employees to come back was especially unfair to marginalized groups because teleworking results in “fewer microaggressions and fewer instances of overt racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, etc., in the workplace or during their commute.” They also wrote that city employees cared about carbon emissions from commuting and argued that they were “saving lives from traffic violence with fewer vehicle miles traveled.” The city’s exemption process for those with disabilities, they added, was intrusive, nonconfidential and retraumatizing, and they asked the city to “discontinue using a medical model of disability and adopt a social and human rights model of disability.” They levied a warning: “There is also real organizational risk of noncompliance with federal and state law.” Posted by: The ARC of History! at December 10, 2024 05:55 PM (uxCna) 68

It shouldn't be as strong as it is. I think the only recent case that came close to piercing that immunity was the Mike Nifong and the Duke Lacrosse case. The NC AG actually made a statement, and this was intentional, that opened the door to piercing Nifong's immunity. The revisionist theory I saw postulated recently was that the persecuted under Nero weren't Christians but another sect and that later Christian writers just edited the histories because 'everyone knew' Christians were tortured. I admit that the claim that it would have to be quick work for a community in Rome to grow up and be known to the emperors all the way in Rome when even in Judea they were kinda fringe players is pretty reasonable. Supposedly the type of torture/execution was meaningful to this sect. 70 Is busting Trudeau's balls a Logan Act violation?
You are making a longshot assumption there. Maybe check with Trudy's ex-wife? Posted by: Ray Van Dune at December 10, 2024 07:36 PM (gfztU) 308
Ted Cruz: Daniel Penny should sue the Soros out of Alvin Bragg.
... No. I predicted Daniel Penny would be acquitted, back in February, right here at AOSHQ. I've had my doubts since, but it turned out I was right in the first place, and I'm glad of it, and glad for Penny. If you think the not-guilty verdict means Penny is not guilty, you're correct. If you think it means he didn't break the law, then you don't understand why we have jury trials in this country. Apparently Ted Cruz thinks Daniel Penny didn't break the law. He's wrong. Bernhard Goetz broke the law in very similar circumstances, back in 1984. He shot four thugs on a subway platform. A jury found him not guilty on every charge except a trivial weapons charge. But in the ensuing civil trial, Goetz lost a 44M judgement. Penny is vulnerable in the same way. In a civil trial, there won't be any testimony about what a scary motherfucker Jordan Neely was. It will be a cold-blooded, merciless proceeding. In a civil trial, Bragg would have a far better shot at Penny than he had in the criminal trial. He would countersue and walk away with his reputation restored, and a massive settlement to boot. No. Posted by: Bombadil at December 10, 2024 08:45 PM (MX0bI) 309
Federal workers are a bad joke because of the way they are recruited. For every worker there is a contractor to do the actual work.
