Good morning kids. Well, as one commenter quipped, and I cribbed, 'Tis the Season for the Treason! And like the sun rising in the east, Treason, and every other depredation and abuse inflicted on the American people only comes from one direction, the Left! The science is settled, as human history and for sure the past two centuries of American history underscore that statement as absolutely 100% true.

There's the swamp that Donald Trump PBUH has accurately identified, but it goes far beyond DC. The rot is ugly, dark and deep and DC is where the worst of the effluent eventually surfaces. One Jim McDonnell is a glittering cancerous fistula who no doubt is on track to become the next Eric Holder if, God-Forbid another Obama or rotting vegetable du jour is installed behind the Resolute Desk to act as a front. Meh, we're almost to the point where a frontman (with or without anatomically correct parts and melanin from birth or retrofitted surgically) is not even needed.

How much of this has to go on before the federal government declares that California is in a state of insurrection?
The new chief of the Los Angeles police force said his department is working with consulate offices for Mexico and other Central American countries to draft a plan to protect immigrants ahead of the Trump administration’s plans for mass deportations.
Rather than protecting residents from illegal alien criminals, Chief Jim McDonnell will work with foreign governments to protect illegal alien criminals from the federal government. . .
. . .The department plans to work with the consulates to create and circulate a video explaining their policies to the immigrant community and alleviating their concerns.
The primary mission is to arrest criminals. California blocks police officers from handing over illegal alien criminals to federal authorities. The priority for deportation will be illegal alien criminals. That’s whom McDonnell is committed to protecting. And he’s coordinating with foreign governments to inform illegal aliens that the LAPD has their back against the United States government.
How many things are wrong with this picture? How many of these would have been tolerated in the 1850s or the 1950s? What will it take to restore the rule of law again to California?

Might I suggest, the arrest, trial and conviction for treason and summary execution of traitorous bastards like McDonnell all the way up to that of Gavin Newsom. Pour encourager les autres, so to speak.

Well, there's treason and then there's treason:

The Biden junta appears to be working overtime within federal agencies to put labor agreements in place before President-elect Donald Trump takes office in January.
The agreements are designed to complicate Trump’s stated goal of civil service reform or, as he puts it, purging the deep state. The contract terms can restrict federal agencies’ discretion over employee management. The latest example of the Biden administration implementing this tactic is at the Social Security Administration (SSA). It has already performed or is working toward similar changes at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Justice (DOJ).

While I have no doubt that there are those who work in the civil service conscientiously and are trying to do a "good job," yet not realizing that the agencies they work for have been created in the main to rob the American citizenry of their freedom and the fruits of their labor, regardless of the noble words carved into the marble on the frieze outside the entrance. Bureaucracies exist only to expand in size and power, never to solve the problems they allegedly were formed to address. To do so would lead to their extinction, and the political power of the Left that thrives on blaming America as founded and conservatives for said problems and not funding the agencies in order to combat them. And so it goes, as it has for decades now! There's also the massive amounts of grift, graft and kickbacks from vendors, unions and so forth.

Looking past the Democrats, it's also why you have this kind of treason from inside the wire, so to speak:

They're gunning for Trump's picks now to avoid what will be revealed during confirmation hearings:

We are going to hear some outrageous things in the upcoming congressional confirmation hearings.
But one thing we will not hear about are the crimes, deceptions, and utter incompetence of prior and current government grandees.
The current crew, not their proposed Trump replacements, prompted the sick and tired American people to demand different people.
Voters want novel approaches to reform a government that they not only no longer trust but also now deeply fear.

All of a sudden the Democrat Propaganda complex is pushing for Joey Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants to preemptively pardon such criminal vermin as Andrew McCabe, Liz Cheney and the American Mengele Anthony Fauci. Kind of a dumb move. To do so would give the impression he knows they are guilty of something, despite the propaganda spin that it's to protect them from Trump abusing the DOJ to persecute them politically, which would only underscore the truth that that is what was done to him in the first place!

This too is to protect the utter criminality and tyranny of the Deep State of which the aforementioned are very much Little Big Eichmanns of.

I hope Trump can bring an epic Travis Bickel-esque rain to wash all the scum and filth the hell out of DC and every other corrupted shit-hole statehouse, City Hall and where it all began, classroom and faculty lounge so we can revive and restore what was stolen from us.

I think Amazon cut back on using USPS after Trump complained about th raw deal they were getting from Amazon using them for last-mile delivery.

And Amazon has really built their delivery fleet and distribution warehouses up since then. There’s a warehouse about 5 miles from me that handles the entire region. I can’t go anywhere without seeing several Amazon vans every day.

234 OT: Broke and dislocated my little toe yesterday badly (ended up my bone was upside down) so headed to urgent care. After 2 hours and a talk with an emergency podiatrist (that probably took the longest time b/c there was no wait), I had my toe relocated with no anesthesia. Wow - the noise. And it's a good thing I have a very high pain tolerance. I can't believe they do that procedure without even a Tylenol 1st. But then, I read the anesthesia story from the big insurance company. That said, my Polish guest said I did it the Polish way, since apparently, they don't numb at all either.

1st broken bone, so it's been a helluva fall. Still need to see a specialist within the week so my daily long walks are out til I do (although with how my toe feels, it would be out for now anyway)...

Fortunately, I live in a pretty safe neighborhood. Most of my Amazon deliveries come from the same driver. Young-ish black guy. Best deliveries ever. As I've long said, the 7-2 part of the immunity decision, the part that said the President has full immunity for his core or essential functions, clearly includes staffing of the Executive Branch to carry out those functions.

But the Court didn't just say that the President has immunity for actions take in furtherance of those functions--they went much further and said the court cannot even review acts taken in furtherance of those functions.
The Constitution grants only the Senate the power to review or limit personnel--and only those few and named offices, no more.
Every other position is a core or essential function of the Presidency--not subject to Congressional or Judicial review.

Thanks - I can't take Ibu or any normal anti-inflammatories, so it's just Tylenol. Funny enough, what I was taking for my treatment joint pain, glucosamine chondroitin, was determined to also be a great idea for my toe, so I've increased that dose from 1 pill a day to 3 pills a day (still under the max 4 pills/day). It seems to be working for now, but I can't walk correctly yet, so doing very little (which is bad, but sometimes you just have to listen to the body to not wreck it more). It's my right foot, so I'm not driving now, either, til the appointment, since I can't drive in the block velcro shoe they gave me...especially not in subzero degrees...

Picked up the basket carrier, laden with dried oak and something popped in my right foot. Hurt like hell but I was like "eh". Walked on it for two weeks before my wife (a physician) told me to go get it x-rayed. Jones fracture. Two months in a boot. Healed up good though.

314 Unlike the Right, the Left actually means business, and they'll fight at the State level tooth and nail. It won't be trifling, legal stuff like bussing aliens, or a Don't Say Gay bill. I know what that is like. My late first husband was diagnosed with aggressive lung cancer at age 29. He went thru the chemo and radiation and even immunotherapy when the other stuff didn't work. I ranted and railed that it "isn't supposed to be this way! We were supposed to have our happily ever after".
My younger brother was subjected to one of my 10 minute meltdowns. I was always careful not to do that in front of the husband or the boy spawn.
My brother listened carefully to every word I said. Then when I ran out of steam he wrapped me up in a bear hug and said, "you're right. This isn't how its supposed to be. It sucks. But this is how it is. You gotta play the cards you're dealt. Stay focused and chilly for him and your boy."

I was surprised, but it's not even political...I've seen it by both sides of the political spectrum everywhere, so even if they find the guy (which I'm not sure cops are trying very hard to do), it's gonna be hard to get a conviction - I see a lot of hung juries in the future in NYC, b/c some folks do see this as "a murderer killing a murderer" - if you don't have a strong moral compass, and your parent/spouse/child got killed b/c insurance denied or delayed treatment, you might see this as a "he had it coming" defense...and a lot of juries won't convict with that even with overwhelming evidence...

Think part of the problem is that the divide has gotten much greater between the 'haves' and the 'have nots' (especially post COVID) and a lot of the 'haves' - particularly CEOs of large, international corporations - are now having meetings in Davos, etc. and deciding for us how we can/cannot love our lives. This is in addition the overall coarsening of our culture for decades.

It's an awful way to express this anger at the corporations, to revel in CEO murder, but I kinda get it?

I"m certainly not celebrating it and would love if society could get back to some sort of rule of law or at least pretending to be adhering to "laws, not men". That said, I suspect it's the natural progression of culture after normal nobodies watch things like child s2x slavery, child s3x mutilation, COVID, Fauci, BLM, Hunter Biden, Milley, the 2020 coup, J6 prisoners, etc.

Let's entertain the thought that it was a revenge killing for a perceived COVID death or a denied claim or coverage. It's not hard to see how someone who watched the last 10 years play out would think "I didn't make these rules, but this is how things work now."

It's going to take decades to return us to the sensibilities of the 90s, if we can.

Agreed. The problem is that we've been living in a society that for years has protected the criminals over the victims -- the two headline stores today are prime examples (Daniel Penny, CA protecting criminal aliens).
We've watched BLM and antifa burn down cities, we've watched state and federal government import and reward foreigners (even criminal gangs), etc. all while our lives have gotten so much worse. This is a recipe for vigilantism as well as things like this assassination of prominent people in the communities who are most responsible and/are benefiting the most from our awful new normal.

Hold her hand, tell her how beautiful she is, take her out for a date when she's feeling good. Just being there means a lot. Rob went thru hell before he lost that battle. One of the last things he said to me was that knowing I was right there beside him, strong enough to take care of him and our son at the same time, to deal with doctors and appointments and everything else made it easier for him to keep going. He said it oddly also made it easier to accept defeat. He knew I would be able to handle everything and still be there as mom for the boy.

Just being there means a lot. Hugs for you and the first lady. Steady on. Stay chilly and focused. She's got this.

Fauci, Wray, Sessions) and PDJT v2.0 seems to have learned not to do that even if it means taking a small serving of crow.
