Corrupt Democrat-Rigged Illinois Supreme Court Overturns Sentence of Protected Race Hoaxer Jussie Smollett

Meanwhile, there are hundreds of J6 political prisoners still in jail.

But if you know Kim Foxx and Michele Obama's former chief of staff, you can commit hate crimes and inspire racial hatred and never do a single day in jail.

The Illinois Supreme Court overturned the conviction of Jussie Smollett, who was found guilty in 2021 for lying to police and staging a hate crime, finding the actor was unjustly prosecuted when charges were previously dropped against him.
The state's top court said in its ruling issued Thursday that the state was bound by the agreement it made with Smollett when prosecutors originally dropped the case in 2019. A special prosecutor reopened the case later that year.

The deal was crooked and arranged by a corrupt DA, Kim Foxx, who pretended she recused herself from the case while having her subordinate carry out all of her orders in agreeing that Jussie Smollet is a protected Friend of Obama.

"We are aware that this case has generated significant public interest and that many people were dissatisfied with the resolution of the original case and believed it to be unjust," the Illinois Supreme Court said in its ruling. "Nevertheless, what would be more unjust than the resolution of any one criminal case would be a holding from this court that the State was not bound to honor agreements upon which people have detrimentally relied."
Nenye Uche, a lawyer for Smollett, said his client is pleased with the ruling.

Dan Webb, the special prosecutor in the case, said he was disappointed in the state Supreme Court's ruling, saying it "upends long-standing Illinois precedent." Webb had argued to the state Supreme Court that the agreement by local prosecutors to drop the case against Smollett didn't preclude him from pursuing charges.
"Make no mistake--today's ruling has nothing to do with Mr. Smollett's innocence," Webb said. "The Illinois Supreme Court did not find any error with the overwhelming evidence presented at trial that Mr. Smollett orchestrated a fake hate crime and reported it to the Chicago Police Department as a real hate crime."

BUT, the DOJ stepped in and threw together a deal where that individual would agree to a very minimal charge in exchange for immunity from any future charges related or unrelated to the original crimes.

Very much like Smollette.

His name is Hunter Biden. Had Biden's plea gone through, this would have been applicable to his case as well. Regardless of that evidence raised it's ugly head down the road, he would have been protected by the Illinois Supreme Court's view of Double Jeopardy.

Disagree. This was a corrupt prosecutor making a corrupt deal to get him off. When people were rightly enraged, a special prosecutor was appointed to resolve it appropriately.

Basically they're saying that if the fix is in, it stays fixed.

This is very much of the new "I get to choose who I prosecute and which laws are enforced" mentality. No need to repeal the law, just refuse to enforce it.

The contract law approach -- above all else, preserve the legitimacy of the contract. Sure, but that falls apart when fraud is involved. KF was doing something sketchy and fraudulent and JS understood that he was getting away with the crime. Both parties understood that the deal was dishonest, so there was no reason to preserve it.

I saw a photo of a menu that had, under appetizers, "My Girlfriend isn't hungry", with an order of fries, a couple of wings (or something else), and one more thing.

When I was first married many decades ago I would cut the grass on Saturday. Being the Midwest, it was always 90 degrees with 90 percent humidity. After a couple if hours in the Midwest sauna I would finish the lawn, come inside the house, open a can of Diet Coke and right on cue Mrs. Mallamutt would pop in and ask if we could "split" the Diet Coke.

After a couple of times this got annoying so one Saturday, right after she asked to split I looked at her and thanked her because "yes, because After 2 hours of grueling yard work, 6 ozs of cold Diet soda was all I needed to replenish all the fluids I had just lost."

Never asked again.

My guess is that this was Trump's idea. My understanding is that the presidential motorcade includes all the medical equipment you can imagine, but it is in the blacked out SUVs and they look like all the others. For me it was candy bars. Milky way, M&M's, Baby Ruth, etc. I was eating 4-5 of them a day in addition to my normal food intake. I stopped cold turkey one day and haven't had any candy in 4 months. Lost 12 pounds and I went from
pre-diabetic on my blood work to perfect numbers that my doctor is very happy with. I didn't change a thing in my diet except cutting out candy bars.

325 Saw a girl today while out on the road. She was dressed in super tight short shorts, which fit her well, and a puffy warm coat. So apparently she realized it was actually cold and raining today, but wanted to look like a hooker. I was confused.

She was really cute but even if she'd be inclined to agree, I wouldn't ask a girl like that out. She's displaying a combination of poor decision making skills and lack of modesty and dignity. You get what you ask for, and it limits my sympathy for guys who ask out red flag factories and find out they... act poorly.

Its easy to say at my age though, the little head doesn't do much thinking any more.

Three or 4 pounds of thin cut bottom round, one bottle of Worcestershire sauce, one bottle of Allegra marinade, one 16 ounce can of Dr Pepper.
Put it in a glass, baking dish, cover it, and let it marinate for three or four days in the refrigerator.
