Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Trump Explains How He Became America's Garbage Man![]() Before that: Kamala Harris has told Pop-Pop to hide in his basement for the rest of the campaign. Joe Biden has been sidelined by Kamala Harris in the final days of her campaign, with his apparent description of Donald Trump supporters as "garbage" underscoring her campaign's fears that the outgoing president is an electoral liability. Since dropping out of the White House race in July, the 81-year-old Democrat has been hitting the trail to support his vice president -- and trumpet his own administration's achievements. But US media reported earlier this week that Harris's campaign was distancing itself from the incumbent, and that it had politely rejected his suggestions to make more joint appearances on the stump. The row over Biden's latest comments has now crystallized concerns that he is more of a hindrance than a help to her election bid's final push. "Harris should obviously avoid many joint appearances with Biden until after the election is over," said Larry Sabato, a leading US political scientist and director of the University of Virginia's Center for Politics. "Biden is quite unpopular and he's also rusty and off his game." Republicans pounced on Biden's "garbage" comment as a reminder of the damaging moment when Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton called Trump's supporters "deplorables" back in 2016.But Grandpa Funnyfingers wants attention! He will not go quietly into the basement! On Wednesday the Biden administration also pushed back at the reports Harris has distanced herself from the president. "They have direct communications pretty, pretty often. And he did have a conversation last night because he was proud of her, her historic speech, and he wanted to congratulate her," White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said. ... For Biden, it caps a painful fading into irrelevance as the commander-in-chief of the world's top superpower nears the end of his single term. A proud man for whom the decision to quit the election race did not come easy, Biden has been keen to promote his achievements in bringing the country back from the brink after the Covid pandemic and pushing through record amounts of legislation. But history's view of Biden will ultimately rely on whether Harris wins next week. A Trump comeback would not only be a repudiation of Biden's own achievements but also reflect the fact that he hung on too long despite concerns over his age. That is one of the many great things about a Trump victory -- the Democrats will blame this stupid, nasty, uncultured, narcissistic, buffoonish blowhard for the loss. That won't be entirely true, of course. But that will burn with Biden until the dull, dim lights of his eyes go out. "Joe Biden can f*** anything up." -- Barack Obama Let that be this lecherous demagogue's epitaph. If you haven't seen the below clip, watch it. It's the funniest I've ever seen Trump. He's also self-deprecating here, which I like. This is his best mode. He should stay in this mode forever.
Brit HumeYes the media is dismissing him as a senile old man so I'm just curious: Why are they not calling for the 25th Amendment as they constantly did for Trump? (And will call for again in three months' time.)

The battlespace prep begins . . . just as The Blade predicted it would.
They are basically saying at this point that if the putang whore loses, it will be JOE BIDEN's fault. They will blame it heavily on Joey's "garbage" comment, even though Trump's supporters have been called far worse by basically everyone on the left for 8+ years. Fear is setting in, and even panic, that the decision to replace Joey with this giddy drunken whore was a fatal mistake. Trust The Blade. Always trust The Blade. So, California decided to list the Presidential candidates in alphabetical order on its voting machines.
Purely coincidentally, that put Harris first and Trump last. But that wasn't quite enough, so they set up the voting machines so Trump isn't even on the first page - you have to click the "more" button to be taken to the second page, where Trump's name is listed, if you want to vote for him. Posted by: Thomas Bender at October 31, 2024 12:13 PM (XV/Pl) It's curious: 1972 was a landslide because the President had been tremendously effective in his first term and the candidate opposing him was a loon that couldn't go two days without a scandal or bungle. 1980 was a landslide because the President had been terribly ineffective in his term, to the point where, in their desperation, they were saying "if you vote for the other guy, he'll take us into nuclear war!" and the electorate responded with: "And that's a risk we're willing to take." 2024 feels like the combination of both. You've got a President who was very effective in his first term going up against a (Vice) President that was terribly ineffective in their term. In their desperation, the party in power is saying, "if you vote for Trump, he'll install a fascist dictatorship!" and, it sure seems like the electorate is responding with: "And that's a risk we're willing to take." 63 Kamala's going to be around for at least another decade at the national level.
Posted by: TheJamesMadison ----------------------- I wouldn't agree that Romney has had indirect control of the GOP since his loss. He's just a RINO foil that media prop up for soundbites to legitimize how 'conservatives' are truly radical, and lately the greatest threat to the nation... But he personally has just been a spoke in that wheel along with Cornyn, Thune, Cassidy, McCain before them, etc. McConnell has been the point man controlling the GOP... On that note, I don't think Kamala has any meaningful future to impact things. They'd like to put her on the networks, but they know how DEI dumb she is so I doubt they will. Feels like she has a Stacy Abrams-ish / Hillary Clinton-ish arc to her career. Clinton and Bush stuck around really due to charity (or at least private) work. Kinda ditto Kerry. McCain had the Senate seat anyway. The only win-or-lose presidential candidate to stick around after he was done is Obama, because he really started sthg massive that needs to be followed through and Trump was gonna destroy it. No, not the Dems. Blaming her for the loss is blaming a black woman. She'll be around as long as she wants to be. Obama retreads, a few Clintonites, and Bidenites probably outnumber her supporters. Her bad treatment of her staffers probably limits her loyalty outreach but Killary had some of the same issues yet did have loyalty from Clinton world. That they're going to lose. But she's terrible. Worse than Biden, really. Any guesses why? Posted by: Mister Ghost at October 31, 2024 12:34 PM (TGPs7) Covid vax? They built a big wind farm offshore. Though Wu was one of the worst Branch Covidians in the country. She got elected on mandating the clot shot and even required restaurants to require the clot shot to eat out. And...quickly removed that regulation after Bostononians demanded it. Now at the time the FNM claimed everyone wanted similar restrictions and that Bostonians were clot shotted at a 90%+ rates. At that point I realized the FNM was lying about both statistics. Living in two worlds is a difficult thing. Especially when , like Peggy Noonan, you have humble beginnings, but suddenly all that surround you are the Boswash political axis of the country types. It is almost inevitable you lose touch with the others out there and you cannot really go home again. Peer groups matter a lot to people due to connections--even moreso in politics and media. Even within the base as frequently demonstrated here, there is significant divergence due to localism in what is said, what should be said, and what should not be said. Almost impossible to keep everyone pleased which is why some pols are so sullen. They get hammered regardless of fair or unfair if that is the zeitgeist of the media and the base. Is this a good time to reflect back on how illegitimate Biden's original notice that he was bowing out was?
Obviously, if Biden had really decided to bow out, he would have called a press conference, and announced as much. Instead, we get this lame notice on some obscure platform. Obviously, it wasn't really from Biden, but it was nonetheless reported as if it WAS. So that's interesting. It seems obvious to me that Biden was too ill to make a public appearance, and Kamala operatives took advantage of that. For Biden to come out and say "I didn't write that" he would look like he's not in control of his own social media, and it might come out what condition he was in when it happened. I believe your assumption is correct and also applies to blue states like NY and esp NJ. Most conservatives just don't bother voting because they think it's a waste of time. I drag myself to vote every election, knowing I'm wasting my time, but I do it anyway. That's the exception. If every conservative or conservative-curious voter got off their asses and voted, states like NY would be much closer and I believe NJ could be flipped. Posted by: TheJamesMadison That is often the case for the GOP. It has the mentality of being the minority party which causes it to be strategic in where they recruit candidates and spend money. In many cases, the GOP actively sabotages and ignores candidates in urban areas that are Democrat at the lowest levels. That is because if those candidates cause the Democrats to get off their ass and mobilize, it will hurt GOP candidates at the state level for governor, etc. So, they leave inner cities and other Dem dominated places without a choice which demobilizes more Dems than GOP voters at the state level. The DOJ, FBI, and other alphabet Democrat operatives covered big time for Joe Biden (and Hillary, and Al Gore, etc.). Legally-dubious actions were ignored, probably because they knew it was paper over actually illegal actions. Maybe some of those actions would just be fines, or the like. But they deliberately do not investigate, while using the cover of Currently Investigating as an aegis shield to protect Dems.
However, if "Slow" Joe Biden is seen as the form of their destruction, folks will turn. Especially the Didn't Earn It folks, who believe he sabotaged their race/sex candidate. Someone will provide the information that was covered, including all the 10%'s for the Big Guy in things no guy should have been involved in. Even if it helps out Trump post-election. I doubt they'd think that far ahead. Only that Biden would be a Disgrace, with capital "D" like Democrat. And apostates must be destroyed by their religion, after all. I feel like Brokaw, Jennings, and Rather made more of an effort to conceal their leftism than Norah O’Donnell does

Am I too late? I usually am, you know, a day late and a dollar short.
Tough patooties, folks. Garbage man Trump is good, you know - comparable to Hercules and Augean Stables, or so I hope over the next four years. That could be some really effective propagandizing if only the current populace weren't too uneducated to even know the story. YOU guys all know the story, though, right? RIGHT?
