The Morning Report 10/25/24

yet another open thread. Hopefully will have the computer back next week. Talk amongst yourselves. Share links. Have a great weekend.

Addendum: Doctor delays federally funded puberty blockers report for political reasons

An influential American physician has admitted to delaying, for nine years, the publication of a taxpayer-funded study on the mental health effects of puberty blockers in youth with gender dysphoria for fear that the results could be used to support prohibitions of so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors.

These people are child abusers and need to be hounded out of our culture. [CBD]

40 I would normally post this to the prayer thread but since it starts today I'm posting here. For those of you familiar with Peachy Keenan, she's encouraging others to join her in a Novena to our Lady of Victory beginning at 12:00 pm PDT today and ending the day before the election. The Novena is nine days of prayer and this one asks for victory against a formidable foe.

She will post the text on X today at 12:00 her time or you may find it on her Substack, which is where I saw it.

She didn't mention it, but the Novena is timely because today is St. Crispin's Day, the 609th anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt, a historic victory against a formidable foe.

59 That Nestle article: "Inflation has now dropped to 2.4% ...."
Obviously idiots writing that. Firstly food is not included in that inflation calculation (which is already heavily massaged), and secondly inflation is still pushing prices UP. That DROPPED is deceptive, prices will never go back to what they were most likely.

Posted by: Ciampino - Si Ispettore, i prezzi sono pazzi at October 25, 2024 06:59 AM (i0xsb)

60 My inflation conspiracy was the price increase were all agreed to. Every major company is run by these lunatics and they are all controlled by the same shit house weasel cabal. Harris makes the price gouging claim because it is true: they agreed to jack prices. Her statements can be viewed as a threat to help her or state AG's will attack.

77 Mark Halperin commissioned the largest poll of Pennsylvania yet done, nearly 2400 people. It found Trump is ahead by a sliver. 0.8 points, but females are a massive problem. Young women, childless but educated, and women over the age of 55 are keeping Kamala in the race. Abortion is their biggest issue but on all issues, including the economy and the border, Harris leads Trump with these voters. If Harris had picked Shapiro, she would be 2.5 points ahead in this poll, making anyone arguing Veep choices do not matter (like me, previously) look way wrong.

The good news is he leads. The bad news is turnout will determine the PA result.

83 I should mention, Democrats are certain to have a few days ahead when they will improve their EV margin. There are two days of Souls to the Polls ahead of us.

But Democrats have largely relied on EV to build firewalls, and being behind in NV, AZ, GA, FL, and NC almost guarantees they will lose those states. They do not have an election day ground operation any longer.

They MUST dramatically increase turn out to have a chance, and this will be brutal down ballot if they don't.

96 I never did get into Rocky & Bullwinkle on Saturday mornings when I was a kid in the late 70s to early 80s.

I mostly remember watching Looney Toons, Scooby Doo, Mighty Mouse, Spider-Man and Friends, Turbo Teen, and my favorite for the few years it was on, Thundarr the Barbarian.

And also G.I. Joe and The Transformers were on every afternoon after school… followed by TBS which had all the greats; Flintstones, Leave it to Beaver, Brady Bunch, The Munsters, and Beverly Hillbillies.

Rocky and Bullwinkle just never fit in the schedule anywhere, although I do remember watching it several times to see what all the fuss was about.

If you didn't see the staged gathering of ben stiller, some other supposed hollywood celery, double-fisted doug emhoff-harris, and "emma" emhoff, it is a sight to behold.

First, it looks like a hollywood PR red carpet backstage photo-op setting. And then it becomes extremely Uncomfortable for everyone involved as Emma Emhoff pretends she's a girl who might someday like to have an abortion. She dressed like and sounded like a 16 yr old boy out with his two "dads."

There is no way emma emhoof will ever be pregnant. She is obviously asexual or an incel dyke.

Secondly, this was intended as an appeal to men, fathers of daughters in particular. Everyone on that video looked and sounded like a beta homosexual. The person with the lowest estrogen level was Emma Ermhoff.

Here’s a league that constantly stops play to review every angle frame by frame to “get it right” and they miss the most obvious penalty imaginable. If I were cynical I might start to think these games were rigged….

Time, and time, and time again, it's been pointed out that the government doesn't even need to fucking cut programs... just grow the expenses more slowly and eventually it becomes stupidly oppressive but sustainable. Maybe it's a good thing that politicians are so stupid.

270 I never liked Springsteen's music at all. But back in '92 when we were first dating, Mr. Black was all excited to take me to see him in concert. Yawn, but I went. While Mr. Black went down to get himself a beer and hotdog, a roadie guy came up to me in the nosebleed section and handed me 2 tickets for front row, dead center. At one point in the show, Springsteen walked toward the back and sort of out of sight. I will never forget him putting one finger on the side of a nostril and blowing hard, blowing a big blob of snot right onto the stage. Then out he came from the shadows and started singing his crappy music again.

My guess is that this is all thanks to the US regime tying our hands. Imagine a media that investigated Biden's decision-making process in dropping out.

On election day they pull out the boxes and open they envelope and run it though the voting machine for you or a shredder. I may have added that last part.

Jeebus how can their be a more ripe process for fraud? Boxes of ballots just sitting around all over the state.

Biden's economic campaign schtick was "We have the strongest economy and the lowest inflation in the world!"

Perhaps so but that doesn't mean they are good. Most Americans are hurting economically. Everything is relative, Joe. FJB.

When the average income increases are vastly outpaced by the cost of living increases, most Americans suffer greatly.

But, they don't care because the rich usually get richer.

416 The connections between the media and the left (BIRM) cannot be stressed enough. Without a propaganda arm to massage the message the Democrats would be forced to openly discuss their plans in whatever language they speak. What I mean by that is they can't 'wordsmith' like the MSM does.

That is what I was trying to get at with the Monkees analogy yesterday. The entirety of their power is based on marketing campaigns. They invent a candidate (or band, or product, or actor, or whatever) and use propaganda to build a fake groundswell and then try to make the groundswell real.

When the product is visibly garbage, it is difficult to make the sale, but they are all in.

TRUE stands for

Trust
Respect
Understand
Emerge

The concept of emerging is what the freak Jamie Gumm with the moth tattoo (Silence of the Lambs) epitomized. A metamorphosis. A change into something you are not. They are selling families a bill of goods draped in the fabric of 'for the children'.

Quote: "We embrace you for who you are and will support you and your family in becoming who you’ve been all along: your true self."

It's perverse in adults, but evil when adults foster, enable and encourage or even coerce acceptance of these delusions in children.

A year ago if you searched CHCO's site for True Center it would not come up i the results, now it does. Maybe they are feeling emboldened to fly the freak flag in the open.

449 This is going to be a major story, breathlessly repeated by the Left for a few days:

Tucker Carlson warms up crowd at Trump rally with bizarre spanking rant. The audience at a Donald Trump rally in Georgia on Wednesday erupted into bizarre chants of “Daddy’s home!” and “Daddy Don!” after an extraordinary and borderline creepy and sexist speech by far-right personality Tucker Carlson likening the Republican presidential candidate to an angry father spanking his daughter.

“Dad comes home. He’s pissed. Dad is pissed. And when dad gets home, you know what he says? ‘You’ve been a bad girl. You’ve been a bad little girl, and you’re getting a vigorous spanking right now,’” the former Fox TV host told the crowd in Duluth.

“‘I’m not going to lie. It’s going to hurt you a lot more than it hurts me. And you earned this. You’re getting a vigorous spanking because you’ve been a bad girl. You’re only going to get better when you take responsibility for what you did. It has to be this way.’”

(Liaison- i haven't seen the whole thing...little clips looked reasonable, but this extended quote feels a little creepy. Of course, it's a Left-wing rag, so it's probably not completely accurate.)

1. The economy is crap. Why would someone vote for more of the same?
2. The democrat candidate got zero votes in the primary. Why would someone accept a candidate that was selected for them?
3. A majority of people in this country believe 2020 was rigged, and want to ensure 2024 is not.

That adds up to a lot of votes.

I said it at the TXMoMe and I’ll say it again: politics is more about personality than policy. Ted Cruz, same problem. He should be beating Colin Allred in a cakewalk. Why is it even close? Well, getting on a plane to Cancun while Texas was struggling to provide electricity in a freak winter storm was bad optics, and that’s part of it. But really it’s just that he’s not charismatic. Nasal voice, know-it-all demeanor. I like the guy and think he’s a great senator but he’ll never be president. If we’re lucky he’ll be nominated to the Supreme Court.

The RCP captures a wide sample of polling - from both left and right wing polls. It averages what all of them say. For the reasons that were given above a tie in the RCP indicates a bad situation for the Democrats.

608 And since the Democrats have held the Presidential position 12 out of 16 years (though devoted to much tomfoolery 🙄such as peaceful protesting, impeachment, and releasing of documents other 4 years in between), has the issue of stockpiling for our Nation in a number of areas arisen? How's it going?

Five of the sales have been emergency drawdowns: in 1991, during the Gulf War; in 2005, in response to Hurricane Katrina; in 2011, during the conflict in Libya; and twice in 2022, both in response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

The most recent releases before the war were due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent rebound in oil demand, as rising gasoline prices contributed to record inflation in the United States. In November 2021, President Biden announced a release of thirty-two million barrels in exchange agreements and eighteen million barrels in sales, seen as an effort to pressure OPEC to increase production; some experts said it was a novel use of the SPR, given there was no supply disruption.

In March 2022, as Russia’s war in Ukraine caused turmoil in global energy markets,..." (Reading of the entire article is suggested, as for all the others referenced above.)

'Vice President Kamala Harris ‘86 Provides Remarks at Reproductive Rights Event at Howard University
In her 25-minute address, Harris encouraged “a sense of clarity and purpose” among abortion advocates during the Fighting for Reproductive Rights event.' Larry J. Sanders
Apr 26, 2023

It's worth reading in entirety but one paragraph of the article follows:

“Fighting for Reproductive Rights,” co-sponsored by NARAL Pro-Choice America, EMILYs List, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU), was held in the aftermath of the stay granted by the U.S. Supreme Court in Alliance for Hippocratic Medicine v. FDA, which temporarily blocked a lower court’s ruling restricting access to mifepristone, the medication used in medication abortion."

It occurred to me the VP's influential sister, Maya Harris, serves on the Board of Directors of Emily’s List, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, and had been Ex Dir of ACLU N. California, & more.

Also, "Reproductive Freedom for All" dot org was formerly NARAL Pro-Choice America.
