Kamala ... tore her campaign manager Julie Chavez apart on a call that lasted around 30 minutes.
Kamala told her that she's horrible at her job and would be the reason she loses.

Not presidential! She should have maybe run for a city council seat in a small California town.

5 My Calliope Mori Hyte Y40 Limited Edition PC case has arrived in Sydney en route to Casa del Pixy...it might be the only one in the country.

This is so great! Have you contacted the local media yet to clue them in on this momentous event? I envision satellite trucks up and down the road in front of your house waiting for the delivery truck to show up. Congratulations Pixy, your joy is infectious.

From everything I've read about her, that checks out. She has around a 92% White House staff turnover rate; it's always high, but she's higher (ha!) than normal. I've read she berates her staff for her public shortcomings, even though she does not prepare, so comes off looking like an idiotic fool then blames/yells at her staff. She's another Mooch: Incredibly lazy and entitled. Look at Hillarity! "Her turn." Entitled. But vote for Her. Kommiela'll maybe let you know later what evil shit she has in mind. {Cackles}

I can understand why people dislike Trump but not TDS, though. But I cannot understand the Kommiela love except for VAGINA. Other than that, I got nothin'. And if that's the only reason people vote for Kommiela, whether Trump wins or not, we're screwed. To have that many incredibly stupid people voting will never end well.

12 Reading that top story, the EU sure has a hard on for Twitter/X don't they.

Posted by: Bruce at October 19, 2024 05:04 AM (ins2D)

13 "People familiar with the deliberations told Bloomberg that the EU is essentially debating whether Musk should be fined instead of X...for potentially violating several provisions of the EU’s Digital Services Act (DSA), a sweeping law that requires major platforms to remove posts that contain illegal content — and holds them financially accountable if they don’t."

Europe is officially on a path to institutionalizing totalitarianism as the primary form of government. The remaining democracy part will be a complete sham. Unless there is a massive revolt against all this insanity the millennium long development of Western enlightenment is dead. It's a matter of short time before this act is brought to bear on the individual. Exploding cell phones and laptops to enforce compliance can't be far behind.

15 From a Windows Central, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff Is not impressed with Microsoft's AI offerings: "When you look at how Copilot has been sold to our customers, it's disappointing. It doesn't work. It spews data all over our floors, it doesn't deliver value. I haven't found a customer who has transformational work with Copilot. Copilot is just the new Microsoft Clippy." The CEO further claims the company's Agentforce offering is what AI was meant to be while referring to client feedback since shipping the entry: "This must be witchcraft, this is crazy with what's happening with my customers right now."

Nothing self-serving in those comments whatsoever. So there it is folks. AI is down to Clippy versus Witchcraft.

19 Evening and morning to all the early risers and Saturday toilers out there! I actually had a decent night's sleep, canyabelieveit.

Musk . . . My employer, though not my office within it, held a conference yesterday entitled "How Elon Musk Destroyed Twitter." Not "How Musk *Changed* Twitter," but straight out "Destroyed." This conference was mentioned at my staff meeting yesterday . . . and nobody, but nobody, objected to the title.

Speaking of brain-deads, I early-voted yesterday, and it went fine. But in the area around the courthouse, I saw three "Harris-Walz" signs in front of houses, no "Trump-Vance" ones. Jeez.

Fairly sure this is just another step in the long running feud between me and the neighbor at the bottom of the mountain. They claimed she told them there was a logging road. She must have neglected to mention that it hasn't been passable for years, it isn't her property, and the house (hello, the big thing with the roof?) is occupied by a retired veteran with a real aversion to meeting uninvited strangers in the wee hours.

Lesson learned. No matter how bad a government is, they can always get worse, and you can't just choose not to do business with them.

When asked why he robbed banks, Willy Hutton replied,"Because that's where the money is."

I recall some time ago when the propaganda corps actually reported on Kamala's ongoing issues with her staff. Specifically the males. Turnover was exceptionally high.

This whipsawing between "Harris is X points up on Trump" to "Kamala's having issues again with her staff" is just indicative of bad the press is of actually, you know, reporting facts.

If her staff had any common sense they'd quit all at once. Then go to the propaganda outlets and tell their side of the story.

The lights are out in Cuba.

I have a feeling that the open US border has allowed the most productive citizens in Cuba to escape here. The law of unintended consequences should never be doubted.

The only good thing is those Cubans end up in south Florida and will keep the state good and red. Also, not to be overlooked, they make tasty sandwiches.

My leftist sister lives in south Florida, across from Miami, and hates the Cubans with a passion. Not hard to guess the reason for that.

From the article: The shirt read: 'Do not give in to the war within. End veteran suicide.'

There's nothing at all wrong with that message. The steward that tried to kick her off the flight should have his arse kicked for what he tried to do, as well as his subsequent insults to Ms. Banks; Not letting her sit in her paid-for extra-legroom seat, and forcing her to sit at the back of the plane, and the delay causing her to miss her connecting flight to see her also-veteran sister.

This man is not a credit to his airline, and he's going to cause further loss of revenue for them with his poor attitude and deficient decision making.

On the side-bar, there is a video clip of a recent Harris rally in which someone in the audience yells "Jesus is Lord!" She then replies, "You're at the wrong rally. You need to be at the smaller one down the street." The people in the audience apparently thought that was pretty funny.

Not there's really any doubt, but just a bit more evidence that Harris (and the Democrat Party) have a very real hostility to Christianity.

There is conjecture that the incident was staged. Perhaps ... but that's only going to play to the hardcore Democrat base. Just like Gov. [Half] Witmer's "Dorito Communion" stunt, the Donk politicos keep on demeaning Christianity and then wonder why Christians are offended.

This is why propaganda works. Why people choose Coke over Pepsi, why average people can be labeled "Sexiest ___ on Earth", why some cultures desire bling, or expensive mobile phones, Apple computers, Alexa-like devices, Instagram filters, etc.

There is no natural desire for those, wanting a Lexus or Cadillac is a desire that is implanted. Worshiping Obama or Harris is not natural at all and an excellent example of Mimetic Theory.

We mimic others values and desires. This is why advertising blitzkrieg works, associating with desirable people; copious doses of Nuero Linguistic Programming: anchoring, visual kinesthetic dissociation, swish patterns, etc.

93 @67/Ciampino: "My AdBlock Plus has developed a problem. The Refresh button is either no longer there or is not clickable, usually the former. Anyone know anything useful? to fix this?"

You didn't state what browser (including version #) you're using, that's kinda important to helping you solve this.

However, let's assume you use Chrome or Chromium, because I remember reading something about certain add-ons being disabled in those in recent days, including uBlock Origin, the ad-blocker that I use with great success in Firefox. I did some searching and found a commenter over at /r/adblock on Reddit who wrote this:

"Chrome and Chromium browsers are sunsetting what is known as manifest v2 extensions. The allowed extensions Manifest v3 are more restrictive. If you are using Ublock Origin the MV3 replacement is called Ublock Origin Lite. Adguard also has an MV3 compatible extension."

Perhaps that helps you figure this problem out. Good luck.

True enough, there are plenty of lukewarm Christians. However, the days of "nice Christianity" are coming to an end.

Our youngest priest gave a homily last week in which he told the congregation during his homily, that we are called to be good, not nice. He then recounted Jesus flipping over the tables of the money changers in the Temple and then stated, "That doesn't sound very nice, does it?"

That it was the same 6 people AI decided to redress and add eyes, fingers, arms to some of them isn't really important.

Considering that his contemporaries hated His comments and observations of their lives and lifestyles to the point that they set about to murder him in broad daylight under sanction of the ruling authorities (on more than one occasion), could you imagine our LORD's X feed?

Another giveaway is to try to pull a high-resolution version of the picture, then zoom in on any text on signs or shirts, it's usually nonsensical characters or words that don't make any sense whatsoever. 130 I’m excited to share that Intel, AMD, and a wide range of industry leaders are working together to shape the future of the x86 ecosystem. x86 has been the backbone of computing for decades and this new initiative ensures that x86 is the ideal architecture for the decades ahead whether in AI, cloud, client or wherever you want to take it. 131 From what I was reading, Unknown 9 was also a "freebie", in a stretching of its meaning. A digital license key for it, along with Space Marine 2, came bundled with some hardware. Either a CPU, motherboard, or video card (apparently AMD related).

So there's a number of 'sales' that didn't directly buy it, but got it tied to another game and a hardware upgrade. A poster elsewhere notes that Steam distinguishes reviews between those that buy through Steam (similar to Amazon's "Verified Purchase") and those that got a license key elsewhere. They can still review. And the reviews aren't so good.

If you sort by Most Helpful, you'll see a lot that only played around an hour or two, but they point out several issues with gameplay, graphics, and even technical (odd 85-Hz framerate, autosave is not optimized, others). So not exactly a review bomb, but it is bombing.

If your users are catching these at the start, why didn't playtesters? Or were said testers "True Believers" of the mission, or browbeaten to only give positive up-twinkles and not point out actual flaws that might hurt the feelings of the devs?
