CBS "News" In Full Cover-Up Mode As It Cancels Staff-Wide Racial Struggle Session In Favor of Racially Bullying Employees in "Small Groups" to Prevent Leaks

As you may know, CBS "News" was planning to bring in a DEI "trauma specialist" to force its entire staff into a racial struggle session. Because some of the woke staffers got upset that a reporter dared to grill Woke Prophet Ta-Nehisi Coates on his claim that Israel is responsible for the rapes and murders of its citizens, and did not mention "Hamas" once in his book denying Israel's right to even exist. CBS "News" of course took the wokies' side and denounced their own reporter for having the temerity to question a Strong and Empowered Black Man.

We see this so often-- the Strong and Empowered Minorities must be protected at all costs from the very normal, very basic back-and-forth of everyday life. One begins to wonder how Strong and Empowered they really are.

CBS "News" is claiming they're banning tough questions of any Strong and Empowered Black Radicals in order to do MOAR journalism betterer.

During its editorial meeting on Monday at 9 a.m.--the morning of October 7--the network's top brass all but apologized for the interview to staff, saying that it did not meet the company's "editorial standards." After being introduced by Wendy McMahon, the head of CBS News, Adrienne Roark, who is in charge of news gathering at the network, began her remarks by saying covering a story like October 7 "requires empathy, respect, and a commitment to truth."
After quoting extensively from the CBS News handbook, she said, "We will still ask tough questions. We will still hold people accountable. But we will do so objectively, which means checking our biases and opinions at the door."
"We are here to report news without fear or favor," Roark added. "There are times we fail our audiences and each other. We're in one of those times right now, and it's been growing. And we're at a tipping point. Many of you have reached out to express concerns about recent reporting. Specifically about the CBS Mornings Coates interview last week as well as comments made coming out of some of our correspondents' reporting.
"I want to acknowledge and apologize that it's taken this long to have this conversation.
"This goes way beyond one interview, one comment, one story. This is about preserving the legacy of neutrality and objectivity that is CBS News," she said. "We want every show to be a place for courageous and robust conversations and discussions."

The Free Beacon has these details about the DEI "trauma specialist" who would have led the Struggle Session.

CBS News, by far the lowest-rated network in evening news, is still reeling from the backlash surrounding the VP debate, when moderators Margaret Brennan and Norah O'Donnell pestered Vance with dubious "fact checks." On Tuesday, the network is holding an all-staff trauma training session with Dr. Donald Grant, a diversity and mental health consultant, after CBS executives denounced their own anchor, Tony Dokoupil, for challenging author Ta-Nehisi Coates's one-sided account of the Israel-Palestinian conflict. Dr. Grant's social media posts include a blatantly racist image of Sen. Tim Scott (R., S.C.) alongside the caption "Uncle Tim's Cabin," a racially-charged term of disparagement.

But, multiple outlets that had to compete were replaced by the broadcast monopolies which in turn destroyed competitive newspapers and turned them into a monopoly. Monopolies always become subservient to government because they rely upon it for protection from competitors.

Same reason social media went from the wild west to co censorship duties doing what government could not do directly. Lack of competition and desire to keep it that way. Nat sec gave them a reason to sell it as good for the plebes.

Nope. At least some actual ballots were preserved and have been in a warehouse under judge's orders due to a lawsuit by True the Vote against Fulton County. The lawsuit keeps dragging on but the Georgia State Election Board probably has legal claim superior to True the Vote over obtaining them in GA law.

Used to have a handbook of the Board along with relevant statutes but gave them away when I retired.

Early on he tried the ersatz "Peace Process" that the US State has been addicted to for 50 years or more, making Israel play footsie with various terrorists factions claiming to represent the Palestinians. Then when the reps played stupid games Trump just said "well, you messed up the negotiations are over" and never spoke to them again.

This popped their bubble and efforts were ongoing to normalize relations with other Arab states which ended up with the Abraham Accords. Just before Oct 7, Hamas, Israel and the Saudis got to the same place and ended negotiations with Gaza. Hamas knew that blood and hostages would force all the Arab nations to go radical again and return to a war footing.

I think a lot of this crap came from the overproduction of elites by the endless mantra of credentialism rather than experience. So, a way to differentiate oneself as a junior is to weaponize and terrorize via PC (political correctness) which could derail senior people's careers because the organization gave lip service to policies to avoid lawsuits for sex or racism. 'Most' is an exaggeration, field hands were more distant than the house staff and more numerous by far. But slavery in the US was mitigated by the lack of supply driving up the costs, you couldn't just import a few hundred and work them to death for pennies.

It was pretty common for slaves who felt mistreated or just wanted some time off to 'light off' to a nearby forest area or swamp and camp out, having supplies smuggled to them by the other slaves, for days or weeks. They'd negotiate to return to work without much punishment. So slaves did have means of resistance that the bosses had to take into account to some extent.

Those McCain types wanted it to happen. The head of the Board of Supervisors is involved in shady China shit, and Ducey, etc. went along with the steal which they still had power.

Ducey's career was term limited but Kemp was running for reelection and might have done the same cheating in the 2018 election against Tank Abrams. As SoS post election, Kemp had the servers wiped after the election while Tank's lawsuit was still going on. So Kemp and his shitass SoS and go along AG is in a bad place---I think Kemp wants to run for Senate in 2026 and to do that he needs MAGA votes. Ratshitburger squeaked out a win in 2022 but will probably be shitcanned in 2026--either via primary or in the general. Dems saved him in 2022 by voting in the GOP primary but at some point, they want that office to institutionalize the cheat.

This analogy fails on so many levels. Government officials are hired to do a job. As with any employee, I'd expect them to be a good steward with the resources they have been allocated for doing that job. If they fail to adhere to that very basic expectation, then we fire them and find someone else via the electoral process.

Anyone who can't understand this doesn't deserve to be a dogcatcher, let alone the mayor of a major metropolitan city.
