Even the NY Times Admits That Stephanie Ruhle Is a Hardcore Kamala Harris Partisan Who Did Not Press Her on Any Issues, Says Kamala Harris Failed to Offer Any Substantive Answers

Even the NY Times feels compelled to point out that this was a hacky softball "interview" designed not to elicit Kamala Harris' "plan" but to hide it.

As Vice President Kamala Harris parses out the details of her agenda, she has favored broad strokes over detailed policy papers. Only recently has she begun sitting for interviews, which have elicited few details about what her presidential administration might look like.

Little about that careful approach changed during a 25-minute interview with Stephanie Ruhle of MSNBC that was broadcast on Wednesday night. It was Ms. Harris's first one-on-one interview on cable television since becoming the Democratic nominee.

In her discussion with a friendly interviewer, the vice president again presented herself as a champion of the middle class and hit many of the same themes from her pro-business economic speech earlier in the day. She largely avoided direct questions about how she would govern and why some voters remain fond of former President Donald J. Trump's stewardship of the economy.

Here are three takeaways from Ms. Harris's interview.

Ms. Ruhle's first question was about how Ms. Harris might respond to people who hear her proposals and say, "These policies aren't for me." The MSNBC host's second was about why voters tend to tell pollsters that Mr. Trump is better equipped to handle the economy.

Ms. Harris responded to the fairly basic and predictable questions with roundabout responses that did not provide a substantive answer.

Instead of offering any explanation for why Mr. Trump polls better on the economy -- a matter that has vexed Democrats as President Biden has overseen a steadily improving economy -- Ms. Harris instead blasted Mr. Trump's record. She blamed him for a loss of manufacturing and autoworker jobs and said his tariff proposals would serve as an added sales tax on American consumers.

She said nothing about why voters think Mr. Trump and Republicans would be better on the economy.

But she did say her policies are for everyone.

...

A hard-hitting Harris interview is still yet to come.

Since Ms. Harris began granting more interviews in recent days, her media strategy has been to sit with friendly inquisitors who are not inclined to ask terribly thorny questions or press her when her responses are evasive.

Nothing about that changed during her interview with Ms. Ruhle before her audience on MSNBC, the liberal cable channel whose viewers overwhelmingly favor Democratic candidates.

It's not quite clear what Ms. Harris gained, aside from giving her campaign aides the ability to say she held a one-on-one cable television interview.

For the vice president, speaking with Ms. Ruhle was roughly in the same ballpark as Mr. Trump having one of his regular chats with Sean Hannity of Fox News.

Last week, Ms. Ruhle openly showed her preference for Ms. Harris over Mr. Trump during an appearance on Bill Maher's HBO program. And when she interviewed Mr. Biden in May 2023, Ms. Ruhle did not press him after his stumbling answers and praised him throughout the 14-minute discussion.

So it went with Ms. Harris. Ms. Ruhle joined Ms. Harris in attacking Mr. Trump ("His plan is not serious, when you lay it out like that") and avoided posing tricky questions about positions Ms. Harris supported during her 2020 presidential campaign or what, if anything, she knew about Mr. Biden's physical condition or mental acuity as his own campaign deteriorated.

Which is perhaps why Ms. Harris agreed to the interview in the first place.

Megyn Kelly was unimpressed by the leftwing propandist as well.

Here's some good news: the low-IQ ditzy dickrider learned a new Adult Word which she is saying every five seconds, like a child might. This word is "holistically." Like "opportunity economy," Hoorish obviously does not know what it means, either.

Other nonsense filler words she repeated throughout this fake interview: "ambitions," "aspirations," and "dreams." Worth the watch.

This is the Obama empty emotional campaign -- "I am a blank screen you can project your desires on" -- run amok.

Below, she avoids answering whether or not she'll impose price controls.

15 My take this morning:

Ruhle is kinda coming close to saying the emperor has no clothes here.

This is either a polite warning to the Harris campaign to do better or lose to Trump (projecting their fears)

Or

This is the prelude to an October surprise because they'd rather not destroy things further with a massive Harris loss and they want her gone so they can focus on Newsome in four years

Posted by: Comrade Flounder
--------
Google is based on one product--its search engine plus Android dominance and it has done poorly in every other market even when they bought top companies such as FitBit. Basically conglomerates destroy value in the long run because business units under the conglomerate need to have different business strategies.

FitBit, for example, promised privacy of data--once Google bought it--voila--no privacy for users. Google also views manufacturing items as a small beer sideline--so FitBit quality and features are dying and it appears Google is trying to move its base to Google Android watches as simply another feature to better compete with Apple's smart watches.

Google are after thought (about 10 percent) in the cloud market compared with AWS (Amazon) at 31 percent and Microsoft at 25. But Microsoft has the advantage over Google in that it sells the operating system of choice plus office apps for most business organizations at the user level.

"A hard-hitting Harris interview is still yet to come.

"Since Ms. Harris began granting more interviews in recent days, her media strategy has been to sit with friendly inquisitors who are not inclined to ask terribly thorny questions or press her when her responses are evasive."

I've yet to hear any of her interviewers ask, "Why hasn't the Biden-Harris Administration already implemented the new policies you're campaigning on? Or pressed Congress to pass legislation implementing those proposed policies? Why a four-month delay until you may be President?"

Kamala's Handlers are working hard to ensure I never hear an interviewer ask her those questions.

I use Linux for over a decade now myself with one dual booting machine with Microsux on it for some accounting and tax software plus a video editing ap.

Another old Coffee Lake computer is a dedicated scanner computer using Windows 10 that I use to for scanning all paper files allowing them to be shredded afterwards.

Linux has a spotty relationship with scanner drivers in particular plus they lack integrated image and document management software.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world, and love is love. And when you think about it, love is when you love something. We all should love something. Or, sometimes, we can love many things. Sometimes love can be big, and sometimes love can be little. There is so much love in love, and when you love, and love love, the love you feel will make you love.

166 Watching Trump's press conference brings into stark contrast Kamala's inability to address any question with a halfway acceptable answer.

Her response to Ruhle's question about funding her election promises shows that she not only doesn't understand economics but is completely ignorant of how government and Congress work. As a former senator she should be aware where funding is approved.

Each time Kamala is interviewed even by the friendliest of journalists she displays her utter ignorance and unsuitability for any office. However, she is very qualified to be a mistress or a side piece.

I will say, VA early voting is not bad for us...

Rs represent districts 1, 2, 5, 6, and 9...and they are doing well in the "very early" voting totals...2 and 9 especially are a surprise b/c no one voted early in 2 and 9 for 2020 compared to the other districts...

Are the Democrats losing the Boomer generation as a whole in this election?

"Trump has a 23-point edge with white working-class voters. White voters who did not graduate college break for Trump at a 61 percent to 38 percent ratio. However, Harris leads with college-educated white voters by a slightly wider margin of 63 percent to Trump’s 35 percent."

Similar split across the nation. They neglect to say that White Non-college is 3X White College and that they skew to swing states.

White College historically has had the highest turnout, so there's no room to grow. White Non-college can grow has plenty of room to grow. Even honest public polls will miss this.

The only way I would dual boot is if I wanted to play games, for which virtualbox video card usage is lacking, at least for my current hardware. VM with Win as guest on virtualbox is rock solid.

And even still, I would not attempt it without first disconnecting Linux OS drive, then installing Win, then handling boot selection with BIOS/EFI.

Been there, done that, repaired the bootloader FUBAR. Thanks, MS.

Arabic has three letter roots, you add or subtract vowels and accents to turn it into different nouns/verbs or tenses. Ke Teh Beh is a root word that basically refers to books, learning or teaching. So Book, Librarian, Reading, Teacher etc are all variations of the same Ke Teh Beh root. Including her name.

It's one of the few Arabic words I remember from when I took Arabic language courses in college.

Nice setup. I build new desktops every two to three years upon need so in my case, it has been simply easier to put Linux on one drive and Microsux on another for the rare occasions that I need microsux.

Had a Mac work computer but gave that up when I retired. Frankly, Safari blows and I found the rest of the reasons for using a Mac less than compelling to want to actually pay for it.

Probably put a Linux system on a refurbed laptop someday.

What a stupid idiot. And I admit I was very disappointed hearing that from him. I had his politics pegged all wrong. Oh well...

I went with a VM because I didn't want to partition the main SSD. If I'd have installed a second M.2 SSD, it would have throttled back the bus speed on the main SSD.
