You'd never be able to live down pet leave in a male-oriented culture. (And I say this as a man who has lost dogs and been pretty miserable over it. 46 Mom & Dad's waterbed lasted for almost 30 years! Don't know what brand it was. Was a new-style, waveless unit. Plenty of baffles to prevent the sloshing.

Mom had "needed" it, for her bad back & was very happy. Dad rolled his eyes, but put up with it. After she passed, Dad kept it for a long time but eventually had trouble getting in & out, so hubby and I drained and disposed of it for him. Nope, we did not even consider using it-- we both knew better LOL.

Frog, and his sister Margo are now 13 weeks old, and still living at their original hone till the end of this month.

But we have begun bringing them over to our house for a few hours daily to acclimate them to the upcoming move to our house.

Margo is still very shy and reserved, basically hiding under the couch till we take her back, but is becoming more relaxed each visit.

Frog, who is turning into a real bruiser at 5.5 pounds echoed that yesterday was his day to cast off any reservations and just go exploring every room on both floors of the house.

So...things seem to be going slowly, but well.
