NBC's Claimed "Republican" Lester Holt: The "Apparent" Assassination Attempt on Trump Was Caused by Trump's "Fierce Rhetoric" and "Baseless Claims" About Haitian Immigrants in Springfield

Happy Monday, though it is already shaping up to be maddening one.

Lester Holt knows who really incited a leftwing Biden-Harris supporter to try to kill Trump -- Trump himself, of course. Not the egregious hatred and hoaxes directed at him by the hard left (which definitely includes the vile propaganda channel NBC).

MSNBC is singing from the same hymnbook, of course. They're both the same organization, but NBC usually likes to let MSNBC take the lead in pushing the most bitterly, vilely partisan propaganda. Not this time! Lester Holt, who is claimed (anonymously, by NBC's whisperers) to be a "Republican," is right there with MSNBC blaming Trump's "apparent" assassination attempt on Trump's rhetoric.

I "watch" (ie leave it on in the background) Maria and Varney--although admittedly they are really similar shows with different guests covering the same stories for about 6 hours. Varney at least covers the markets and stocks because the market is open. I like Charles Payne a lot. And Kudlow is probably the best of the mix IMO. Cavuto is banned in my house. The 1 pm show is not my favorite either.

Local donut place had a huckleberry dream donut, which is basically a filled type of glazed donut, split like a taco shell or pita bread then crammed full with "huckleberries."

I agree that Vance and Vivek don't seem open to playing the same old game with the left. The problem I see is that we (including myself) still are.

I complain, I get frustrated, I worry, I prepare.

Other than volunteering as a local election observer though, (which I've done for the first time) there's not much I'm willing to do. I'm not willing to run for office - in part because of what I've seen candidates go through, and I won't do that to my kiddos. I desperately don't want things to go further than they have, and I'm not willing to kick them off.

If it's just Vance and Vivek, not much will get changed. They need us and 'us' don't seem very willing to do what the left seems happy to do.

I read the letter they wrote in apology and it seemed sincere - especially if some were threatening violence. But that's the society we live in unfortunately. I stopped writing at my very successful blog because of the death threats. When I 'ran' IP addresses and they got a little too close to home I said 'screw this'.

As a recovering business owner I might have done the same thing to protect my people. Like I said, it seemed very sincere.
