Ohio RINO Governor Sends $2.5 Million and State Troopers to Springfield, Ohio

DeWine says he doesn't oppose Biden shipping in masses of illegal aliens. He just wants Biden to send him more money for the privilege.

The governor of Ohio will send law enforcement and millions of dollars in healthcare resources to the city of Springfield as it faces a surge in temporary Haitian migrants that has landed it in the national spotlight.
Republican Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine said Tuesday he doesn't oppose the Temporary Protected Status program under which some 15,000 Haitians have arrived in the city of about 59,000 people since 2020, but said the federal government must do more to help impacted communities.
His news conference was held just hours before the presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former Republican President Donald Trump, where the divide over immigration policy was sure to be an issue.
On Monday, Republican Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost also drew attention to the crisis when he directed his office to research legal avenues -- including filing a lawsuit -- to stop the federal government from sending "an unlimited number of migrants to Ohio communities."
Thousands of temporary Haitian migrants have landed in the city in recent years, as longstanding unrest in their home country has given way to violent gangs ruling the streets.

And now the violent gangs rule our streets. Problem solved!

"These dramatic surges impact every citizen of the community, every citizen," he said, noting additional influxes are occurring in Findlay and Lima, Ohio. "Moms who have to wait hours in a waiting room with a sick child, everyone who drives on the streets, and it affects children who go to school in more crowded classrooms."

David Strom argues that it's time for Trump to go to Springfield.

To put the problem of the residents into perspective, Mayor Adams has said that New York City is being destroyed by the influx of about 100,000 migrants, which amounts to one for every 830 New Yorkers.
Springfield is dealing with an influx of one Haitian for every three residents. Think of that. One out of every four residents of the city is a Haitian migrant imported over the past four years. These people don't speak the language, get government subsidies, are taking housing from local residents, and have been driving down wages. There are also undisputed reports of Haitians decapitating geese in the park and disputed reports of pets disappearing and perhaps being eaten.
As much as we love our pets, whether they are being eaten is the smallest of these problems, but the only one the MSM cares about. If the reports are "debunked" (none of these MSM folks has bothered to visit and investigate, claiming a single phone call to a city manager is sufficient to remove all doubt), so what? The matter isn't closed because the issue is not cats and dogs, but the suffering of the residents of Springfield, who are feeling beset by the takeover of their city.

Trump going to Springfield is the only way to get the Marxist media to visit. They'll do a bunch of stories about people's pets who aren't being eaten.

NEVER saw this until the last couple of years.

I live near a major road; Several months ago I was sideswiped by a truck and had to go to court. Personally, I think the least bloody way to resolve everything is a voluntary sorting and partition. (They can have the west coast (not the whole states, but just the coast to about 50 miles in) and the Northeast. (From Baltimore through Maine. Cut Pennsylvania, Maryland, and New York in Half).

Let the people sort and then amicably divide.

Uh, Ohio is on the northern part of the Mason/Dixon line. It's probably a good idea to drop the old North/South missives as they do not apply anymore. It's more of a rural vs city now. Small town vs big city. PA is blue but most of the state is red. Its why the elections are usually very close. A divided state. Sadly, its saddled with Philly. VA is similar. The part where we went from easily winning to now "losing" this election, at least if we're going to believe current polls. The whole Dem Party was in a deep panic.

I'd rather have beat Biden in the election like a drum than him drop out.

actually what he means is that he wishes that his son had been killed by any member of his community that he would be allowed to be angry about.

What torture he must be in, being conditioned to not be allowed to go through the grieving process because it would force him to emotionally address a thing that he has been conditioned to consider a taboo.

456 They're keeping the bureaucracies and non-profits (including areas of many large hospital systems) going as all the money and IOUs or whatever the hell is keeping us going just switches hands. Back and forth, back and forth - to a point.

Someone cuts the checks, occasionally locates someone they're supposed to be managing or aiding or an occasional "sponsor." Have some statistical reports, a rare audit.

An illegal immigrant has been arrested and slapped with multiple child rape charges in Martha’s Vineyard — just months after being freed from prison for strangling someone, federal officials said.
Brazilian national Warley Neto, 24, was taken into custody by the feds in the upmarket liberal enclave on Aug. 23 after he was indicted on five counts of raping a Massachusetts minor and five counts of enticing a minor under 16 earlier this year, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials.
Neto had illegally crossed into the US near Paso Del Norte, Texas, in March 2018 but was released from custody after being served with a notice to appear before an immigration judge at a later date, authorities said.
He popped back up on ICE’s radar in February last year after he was arrested by local cops in Martha’s Vineyard on a slew of charges — including strangulation, assault and battery on a family or household member and threat to commit a crime.
Neto, who was found guilty on the charges in June 2023, was sentenced to a year but released after just 90 days. He has been arrested again after repeatedly assaulting a child and deemed a significant threat.
