You're Not Going to Believe This, But Kamala Harris Lied Many Times Last Night and the Diligent "Fact"-Checking "Moderators" of the Disney Groomer News Network Allowed Her to Do So
In fact, the Disney Groomer News Network "moderators" lied themselves in claiming that current abortion protocols don't allow doctors to "have a discussion" about the fate of a born-alive abortion-surviving baby, as the former Virginia Democrat Governor admitted on the air.
Democrat lawmakers have repeatedly expressed support for laws that would allow abortionists to end the lives of babies who survive abortions -- and voted against laws that protect babies who survive abortions. That's a fact that former President Donald Trump highlighted during Tuesday night's debate, drawing the annoyance of Vice President Kamala Harris and the admonishment of debate moderator Linsey Davis. "There is no state in this country where it is legal to kill a baby after it is born," Davis said Tuesday evening, as Trump argued that some Democrats support executing babies after birth. Trump was referring to 2019 comments made by former Virginia Governor Ralph Northam, a Democrat, as he discussed Democrat Virginia state Rep. Kathy Tran's House Bill 2491. "If a mother is in labor...the infant would be delivered," Northam explained. "The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated, if that's what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and mother."
Advertisement Northam did not specify what would happen next, after this discussion. He continued then: "So I think this is really blown out of proportion. We want the government not to be involved in these decisions."

When Trump accused Harris of an intent to take away people's guns, Harris called this "continuous lying." David Muir said nothing. If he were really interested in fact-checking, rather than ideological enforcement, he could have pointed out that in 2019, Kamala Harris argued with Joe Biden at the Democrat primary debate. Harris argued that she didn't need Congress to take away people's "assault weapons." She claimed she would have this power, innately, as president. Biden said she wouldn't, and urged her: "Let's be constitutional." She literally laughed at him for this sentiment. David Muir should have remembered this exchange. Because he was the moderator at this debate, and he asked Kamala Harris if she really thought she could just seize guns on her own authority. She said she could. And would.
Tran's bill, which did not pass, would have eliminated "all the procedures and processes" that are "required to effect a woman's informed written consent to the performance of an abortion." She herself admitted that under her bill, unborn babies could be aborted "through the third trimester," adding, "I don't think we have a limit in the bill." "So...where it's obvious that a woman is about to give birth, would that still be a point at which she could perform an abortion, if she was so certified?" asked Republican Virginia delegate Todd Gilbert. "She's dilating."
"My bill would allow that, yes," responded Tran.
"Tim Walz and I are both gun owners. We're not taking anybody's guns away," Harris insisted in reply, adding, "Stop with the continuous lying about this stuff." During that debate, Biden argued that gun buybacks could not be enacted via executive order. Muir pressed Harris for a response, asking, "Does the Vice President have a point there?" "I would say hey, Joe, instead of saying no we can't, let's say yes we can," she said, tossing her hair and laughing.

This clip may be the most egregious example of ABC debate moderators' direct actions/inactions to affect viewers’ perceptions of the information presented at the debate.
There are at least seven instances of this within a two-minute span.
This is not “bias."
It’s much worse.
This is direct, planned interference in the debate outcome. When moderators take on the role of “fact checkers" the inference is that the absence of a “fact check” confers validity to the non-fact-checked information.
When one side is repeatedly “fact checked,” while the other is not, that is a signal to the viewer that one side is not reliable and truthful, while the other side is.
The ABC moderators had their orders, and here you see those orders executed.

Unfortunately, yes. So much of the psychological inertia of it is based off of what they have been told and the fictions they believe allow them to feel ok with it.
It is a really perverse kind of psychological reinforcement.
As I get older, I keep thinking of abortion in the same terms as slavery. I have seen people argue the attitudes towards it are very similar and I have to admit I find the argument persuasive.

The story there is that a hospital worker found a "premie" abandoned in a linen closet at the hospital. When she asked about it, she was told that hospital policy at the time was basically to stuff abortion survivors in an out of the way place so their dying whimpers wouldn't bother anybody until they expired.
This lead to proposed legislation that would force hospitals to provide at least palliative care to babies in this situation. State Senator Obama spoke against the legislation and was able to get it killed.
Might I opine that anybody who learns that it is possible for children to be born alive in these situations and still demands unfettered access to abortion is ghoulish.

I don't know if I'm unusual or not, but I'm a staunch 10th Amendment supporter who believes the words it says. If it's not mentioned, it's a state level issue.
I'm that way with abortion. I personally don't think there is any reason to murder that unique human life, up to and including the "rape and incest" excuse for mass murdering everyone.
And I think it's a state issue that local voters should decide.

Does he though? The subtext to that statement is an assumption that his job is reportage (or the regurgitation of producers' reportage).
If, however, one's assumption is that he's NOT a journalist/reporter/newscaster but rather a propagandist, then one would conclude he's performed well. He's a representative of players much higher up in the chain of control.
These are institutions whose aims are power and control equal to or superior to the democratic process. Muir et al are pawns, and he's singing for his paycheck.

The hurricane has made landfall way SW of me. Winds have not picked up yet, and there is not much rain. But . . . my living room ceiling over the dinette table has sprung a drip again. I don't think it's connected with the hurricane, unless the windows are open upstairs and water is collecting on the floor. And in this dump, it's quite possible. What if I hadn't been here to catch it?
And I have no hope of the "management" trying to fix it, probably, until next week.

I agree, though I am very pro life and would vote accordingly. I would have asked Kamala on the grounds of her concern for democracy we hear multiple times a day, why she is so opposed to the populace being able to vote their conscious on this? You know, like a democracy? Does she not believe in people having a right to vote for what they believe in? I would have also noted since its return to the states, the number of abortions hasn’t dropped at all. This is sad, and we pray for all those precious lives lost. It lays heavy on our hearts, especially when we understand the lives lost are mainly minorities lives.
