Good Morning Kids.

As the estimable Danniel Greenfield reminded us just last March:

Haiti is not just a failed state, it’s a perpetually failed state. When was the last time Haiti was functional?
The Clinton administration implemented what it called Operation Uphold Democracy in the 90s and invaded Haiti to implement regime change. The entire ugly episode helped wreck whatever law and order existed at the time.
The Clintons later dived back in to “help Haiti”, but mostly to help themselves to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. Obama promised that we will not “forsake you”. Fast forward to 2024 and Haiti has been in an extended state of disaster, under perpetual TPS immigration status and incapable of doing much for itself.
In 2023, the Biden administration had directed $110 million to Haiti through the summer, followed by another $65 million to bolster Haiti’s police force.

Yes, Haiti has been a basket case since the French were overthrown over 200 years ago. After dumping billions of dollars mostly into the pockets of the Duvaliers and whoever the Duvalier du jour is today with no doubt a very large chunk of change winding up in Chppaqua as the Clintons danced on the smoldering ruins of Port au Prince in the wake of the 2010 quake.

Now let us go somewhere far removed from Haiti, or so we thought. That is, Columbus Ohio.

In addition to strained government resources, Yost alleged that locals in the state have complained about migrants causing car crashes, squatting in homes, killing wildlife for food and stealing property, according to the press release. He cited the town of Springfield as an example, saying the town has “swollen by more than a third” because of the migrant influx.
“Ohio is a great place to work and live,” Yost continued on Monday. “But overwhelming our small towns with massive migrant populations without any coordination or assistance from the federal government is changing that in front of our eyes.”

There are confirmed reports of ducks and geese from local parks as well as citizens' pet cats being killed, gutted and eaten in public.

Horrid as this is, the rapes, robberies and murders, open terrorism from Venezuelan gangsters, and soon Islamic terrorists, that have been the result of the intentional erasure o our borders by the Kamala-orama Kalorama junta since they were installed in 2020 and quite frankly, since Teddy Kennedy's disastrous Hart-Celler act of 1965 laid the groundwork for turning America into yet another third world shit-hole, via the erasure of not just our borders but of our heritage, culture and history, all so that the Democrats could maintain a voting base of illiterate peasantry, to augment American blacks whose lives they destroyed the previous year with the Great Society.

And more than a mere anecdotal few of the former are as revolted by all of this as any rational, normal citizen would be. Scales falling from eyes? TBD.

With all of that, on top of a shattered economy, and a world in flames, we have tonight's debate between Trump and the cackler. A number of links with interesting prognostications, as if it is really going to change anyone's mind. If roasting park water fowl and your neighbors' cats can't convince you to at least not vote for this insanity, if not for Trump, then you have less brain function than Biden.

. . .this will not be an easy fight to win. Why? Because the Democrats – and even some Republicans -- are about as dead set on stopping something like the SAVE Act as it’s possible to get. The most high-profile Republican defector, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) at least has a facially reasonable objection: that Republicans attaching a bill unrelated to the budget to a CR will create a precedent whereby Democrats will do the same. While we understand his reservations, we are simply skeptical that Democrats will care that much whether precedent has been set or not. This is the party, after all, that likes to “make history” at all costs, even in invidious and tyrannical ways. Their disregard for norms when those norms cease to favor them is blatantly obvious to everyone, and if you doubt that, just look at how quickly the liberal call to pack the Supreme Court went from being a fringe fantasy to part of the 2024 Democratic party consensus. You cannot cower behind intangibles forever; principles without power are delusional.

15 Someone once did a Barbados versus Haiti comparison. Barbados is basically a well-functioning state, competently governed on the Canadian model (not the best model but it can work when not run by Trudeaus), whereas Haiti is Haiti. Both are 90%+ black, so racism has nothing to do with how Haiti failed (insert leftist tears here).

Not recycling wasn't a green thing, it was a proliferation thing. Carter, supposedly, wanted to prevent up-and-coming nuclear powers from building breeder reactors and using them to generate plutonium for bombs. Admittedly, the methods they're using to gain fissile material for weapons is more laborious but it's not stopping and I don't think most of the rest of the world adheres to the moratorium so, like most things Democrats do, it only hampers us.

The last census in 2020 had the population at 58k.

In the last four years The Junta has shoveled 20k Haitian migrants into the town, the vast overwhelming majority of these migrants are military aged men.

If you take the original 58k population and say roughly half were men and half were female, you get 29k males in the town.

If you say roughly 65pct of the original males are over 18, you get 18,850 adult males.

So that now means, there are more adult male Haitiens in that town than any other group.

Birmingham, in parts, is being “gentrified”. It’s no Baltimore anymore. But that is because it’s not as big as the other cities you mention so change is easier. Also, it’s Alabama so we don’t have all the money in the world to keep giving out. Getting assistance here takes work. You can’t do it online - well you can start that process, but you have to actually go to an interview and have to provide proof of income, who lives in your house, etc etc. Crazy, right? I mean it’s not perfect, obviously it’s far from it, but the difference in a red state versus a blue is night and day.

Mobile has had a crime problem. It’s got sketchy areas and a homeless issue. But there are some areas that are just gorgeous with big old southern oaks and Spanish moss, huge southern homes. Just really neat. We had seen a little bit of the issue with immigration, but not a lot because this area just isn’t that friendly to it. However, it’s seeping here more and more and a lot of the crime stories you see are now Hispanic names. It’s going to be interesting times.

Looking up the Atrium from the pool area on the 16th floor, one could see Emmys, Oscars, and Tonys displayed in condo owners living room windows. The place was full of famous people.

The former President, Bazoum, was a State Department puppet operating Niger as a suzerainty. He was deposed last year by his top general, Tchiani. Tchiani locked him up in the Presidential palace, where he apparently remains, ahead of his treason trial.

It had a clip of a much younger Ted Cruz at an economic conference pointing out that if social security is to be fixed, we either have to raise the retirement age or cut benefits. I think the script must've been assembled by committee from bites of several scripts. You'll go almost an hour without a single laugh cuz we've got to catch up with eeeeeevvvveryone's story, even new characters.

Weirdly, they had almost no idea what to do with Betelgeuse. As a f'rinstance, almost all of the characters wind up in the Afterlife for reasons, and just as it's looks like the Betelgeuse action will get started, he says "oops, gotta go to the little boys room." and disappears from the movie for 5-10 minutes.

Michael Keaton was good in what little they gave him but even he couldn't do much with the lame script they saddled him with.

This is the sort of movie where everyone involved deserves a kick to the nuts or cuntpunt for all the missed opportunities, lame, failed jokes, heavy repetition of those lame, failed jokes, and lame, failed jokes going way way too long.

You'll smile and maybe laugh a bit when Michael Keaton is onscreen for his Guest Appearance.
I didn't hate it. I didn't like it. A first class "meh".

There are employment networks that ensure foreigners get jobs. They are filling jobs never offered/opened to US citizens -- that's how you get the latest employment numbers of 1+ million citizens lost jobs while 1+ million foreigners got jobs. They are put at the front of the line by these Federal/NGO/Corporate networks.

The author blames colonial powers for the political instability; not once does he blame Haitians for the hellhole they're in. The irony? On the same island is a thriving free country, the DR. 423 I live in Lorain, OH. I just saw on the news that the reports are false. The governor, Mike DeWine, allegedly GOP, agreed. Both the mayor of Springfield and the governor agreed that the massive influx of the Haitians had stressed the community, its housing supplies, and jobs.
Now, do I believe the government officials?
Hell, no. There are two many eyewitness testimonies, with pictures/videos, to believe that bull$hit.
