Latrine John-Pissoir laughs at the question. She almost says "We should be talking about policy," but then remembers: Kamala Harris doesn't want to talk about policy. CNN's leftwing anchor Abby Phillip remarks that Trump hasn't been able to define Kamala Harris, permitting her to not break with Biden and continue playing to both leftwing audiences, those who love the woke disaster of the Biden-Harris Regime and those who are leftwing but want to turn the page from those disasters.

On Tuesday's broadcast of "CNN NewsNight," anchor Abby Phillip stated that 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Vice President Kamala Harris made "a very clear, concerted choice" to avoid breaking with President Joe Biden during her interview with CNN last week and argued that "Trump's inability to make the case against her...has allowed her to not actually really break with Biden, in a lot of ways."
Phillip said, "I feel like, at this table, we've been talking about exactly that...basically, since Kamala Harris came into this race as the top of the ticket, Trump's inability to make the case against her is the biggest thing. And it also has allowed her to not actually really break with Biden, in a lot of ways. She -- in her interview with CNN last week, she outlined what she was running on, but she didn't break with Joe Biden, and that seemed to me to be a very clear, concerted choice on her part."

I bring this up because Latrine John-Pissoir laughs at bringing up this Style Point about Kamala's fake new pander-accent, but what else is there we're allowed to ask about? Kamala Harris won't say what her policies are; she wants to run on "vibes."

So, okay: What about the "vibe" of the inauthentic fake accents she's putting on like costumes?

I think Doocy missed an opportunity here. When Latrine John-Pissoir attempted to shame him for asking a question about a frivolous matter, he should have responded: "Okay, then, if you want a more substantive question-- can you answer this on her behalf: Does Kamala Harris stand with Biden's economic policies, or not?"

So: what's the answer?

Meanwhile, even ultra-lefty CNBC is breaking with Kamala Harris over her latest Commutard proposal to tax unrealized GAINZZZ.

What does that mean? That means if you buy an asset, like a stock or piece of property, it may rise in value -- theoretically, because you don't know the actual value until you sell it to a real live buyer offering a real live price -- during your period of ownership. When you sell it, those GAINZZZ become "realized" -- made real -- and then you pay taxes on the increase in value.

She wants to tax assets that aren't sold -- she wants to tax what the government appraises their hypothetical, guestimated, phantom value if you were to sell them.

Does the government give you back money when the value of your assets decrease?

Of course not. And you're racist for even asking, Bigot.

Note that Mark Cuban says he hears secretly from Kamala Harris's Policy Whisperers that this will never happen, but the female CNBC host says this is bullshit, either she can say these things publicly, or they don't count. She asks, "How do you know that the people telling you this story are telling you the truth, and what Kamala is saying publicly is the lie?"

This is Kamala's entire strategy: Yasser Arafat campaigning. Telling one thing to one group in Arabic -- we're going to tax the shit out of the rich -- and then telling a more moderate thing, in English, to the less-radical audience -- we're not going to tax the shit out of the rich, we're just telling the dum-dums that.

And few in the media are willing to demand she tell ONE story to ALL listeners.

yeah I'm not fond of the "you will root for jihadists" angle. I don't know how well-written it is. I know the voice-over in the David Lynch movie came off very hack-paperbook-writer. I don't know if that's present in the original or what.

having seen Dune, I do now see that yeah, George Lucas ripped him off. No wonder Lucas always wants to talk about borrowing from Kurosawa or the Wizard of Oz -- because the Dune rip-off stuff is the actionable stuff.

My take was that the book was a bait-and-switch: you sympathize with the underdog, because that's the narrative, but at the end you see that this mahdi has unleashed jahannam upon a galaxy only to avenge a family spat.
The sequels try to "fix" this but you don't have to read them.

They also wanted to study the effect of sleep deprivation and torture, in addition to L.S.D. so apparently they kept a few guys tripping for seventy seven (77) days. This is pretty tough to do, requiring increasing dosages. When they started to nod off, zap 'em with the cattle prod.

I think it was Scalia that said "the way to end "racism" is to stop making decisions based on race." (or something like that)

But now everything is based on race, where white is evil, straight and Christian are evil, everything is upside down. (and the DEI "progress" is even worse)

The truth is the "black problem" is multiple things. A big one is the drug and gun culture, with thugs like Trayon/Brown/SaintGeorge now raised to martyrdom status. And accomplished black Republicans called "Uncle Toms" (despite the mistaken reference to who Tom was). "Stop and Frisk" was effective so it had to be stopped (that is the Dem/DeepState destructive attitude).

The other real component is the Bell Curve. Pushing blacks into classes they are not qualified for only exacerbates the problem. There are many very smart blacks, but not enough to have forced "equity", so we get incompetents running things based only on DEI.
