BREAKING: 32 Venezuelan gang members reportedly overran an apartment complex in Chicago.
911 audio of the emergency has been released.
"6124 S King: caller says 32 Venezuelans are trespassing in the building, they are showing guns in the courtyard and they have motorcycles in the courtyard as well, all stairwells are filled."
Officers responded to the call but were unable to apprehend any subjects matching the description.
Chicago residents are starting to sound warnings about Venezuelan gangs moving in on the Windy City.
"This ain't Colorado. This is just like where you're from," a man going by @ Darulaaa said on Tik Tok. "The only difference is... we got switches."
An Aurora, Colorado complex was recently overrun by the notorious Venezuelan gang TdA. After local officials and the mayors of Aurora and Denver blamed media and residents for their alarm, the police began initiating armed sweeps to run out the gang members.
This is all the fault of the Biden administration and its "Border Czar" Kamala Harris, who is running for President of the United States.
If Harris becomes president, this is just the beginning.

In Aurora, liberals are expressing "concern" over the apartment-takeover there. Especially as regards the "impact on other migrants."

Yes, of course, that's the most important thing, always. The backlash.

Concern is growing in Aurora, Colorado over the presence of a Venezuelan gang.

The apartment complex, called The Edge at Lowry, had already seen neighbors complaining about a massive trash pile and alleged criminal activity.
The alleged gang activity is creating problems for migrants in the area.
They say the gang is ruining the reputation of migrants who don't cause trouble and are just trying to make a life for themselves here in the United States.
Groups representing them say the migrants are trying to get housing and jobs, but some in the community are reluctant to help fearing they may be part of a gang.

Aurora police concede that sure, there is lots of criminal illegal alien gang activity in the building, but dispute that this constitutes a "takeover."

It all depends on what the meaning of "is" is.

In a video from a news conference posted to the department's official X account late Friday evening, Aurora Police Department interim Chief Heather Morris said "gang members have not taken over" the apartment complex.
"I'm not saying that there's not gang members that don't live in this community," she said. "But what we're learning out here is that gang members have not taken over this complex."

Aurora's leadership has used the toughest language imaginable to describe this violent colonization of US territory. They call it -- please brace yourselves -- "a criminal nuisance."

The woke gay governor Jay Polis claims that your eyes are lying to you when you see heavily-armed gangsters breaking down doors in the apartment building.

While Coffman has been working to handle the situation, Colorado governor Jared Polis has been subtly undermining the city's efforts. In a statement to the New York Post on Thursday, the Democratic governor dismissed the incident as a figment of a Republican city councilmember's "imagination," despite video footage and the Aurora mayor's confirmation proving otherwise.
Meanwhile, former president Donald Trump vowed to deport the Venezuelan gang members out of the U.S. if he's reelected. "We're going to get them the hell out of here," he said at a Pennsylvania rally on Friday.

Polis literally claimed that it was just people's "imagination" that they were seeing an armed takeover by criminal gangs in their own apartment building, demanding people pay them "rent."

Then the videos came out, and Polis backpedaled. Slightly.

There were internet rumors that the Hells Angels were heading to Aurora, and while "nomadic gangs fighting each other for ownership of blue cities" is definitely on my End of the Republic bingo card, the Aurora police says they've seen no actual evidence of this.

On the other hand, they also say they're "not aware" of any gang takeovers of apartment buildings, so you know they're totes on top of things.

The Aurora Police Department responded to social media claims that the Hells Angel Motorcycle Club is headed to Colorado, and said they "do not believe the posts to be credible."
Despite this, police told FOX31 they are continuing to monitor the situation.
Posts claiming that Hells Angels was headed to the area began circulating on social media over the weekend.

Some of the posts said the group was responding to claims that an apartment complex in Aurora had been taken over by the Venezuela-based Tren de Aragua gang.
APD Interim Chief Heather Morris responded to the claims Friday and said gang members had not taken over the complex.
"I'm not saying that there's not gang members that don't live in this community," she said in a video posted to social media. "But what we're learning out here is that gang members have not taken over this complex."
The Denver Police Department also responded to the situation earlier and said it was "not aware" of any apartment buildings in the city being taken over by Tren de Aragua.

This level of gaslighting is criminal. They're effectively co-conspirators with Tren de Aragua, covering up their crimes and thus enabling their criminal colonizer expansion.

Yeah, almost all of my friends there live in Weld County, which is still relatively sane; problem is with part of the county line being shared with Boulder County it seems there will be spillover in Frederick / Firestone, which have been growing a LOT recently. I was in the 'burbs so moving out into the 'sticks' (as the city guy says) was a much better deal for me. If nothing else maybe think about pruning stuff you don't need / don't want to move?

There was recently a decision, and I don't recall which circuit, where a guy was indicted for having a Glock with a switch and a full-pew AR. He challenged on 2A grounds and won with the district court basically agreeing that full-auto arms are "arms" in the meaning of the Second Amendment and the gov't had not met their Bruen burden of showing analogous laws from the time of the founding. It was an as-applied challenge, not a facial challenge so so far it only applies to that specific defendent in that specific case. Also, at this point, it would be, uh, "optimistic" to think that the ruling will hold on appeal.

Glocks sold machine pistols (aka Glocks with a legitimate select fire switch) in Euro land for a long time. But, the Glock is a relatively easy pistol to work with internally so people reverse engineered how Glock made their pistols select fire.

That being said, select fire mainly useful for spraying bullets and wasting ammo as it takes a lot of practice on even regular select fire rifles to benefit from mag dumps.

Military has a legitimate use for full auto in certain circumstances but police and civilians do not operated under war time rules and spray and pray will get you into legal trouble quickly in self defense even if you have a registered machine gun or a machine pistol (very rare and expensive for regular folks). Criminals, of course, do not care about the wreckage left behind. For the most part, gangbangers care little about human life.

I'm retirement age and now retired but I never tried to fight the Fed nor inflation. Half is now in a 5 yr annuity for wealth preservation and the other half is in an S&P 500 index fund that has a 20 percent downside makeup guarantee. I can also lock in the index money in the market at any time but it is permanent to do that. That is my inflation hedge.

The commission costs on both were frontloaded so I don't have to pay my 403b plan providers commissions anymore.

Given the market runup this year, a 20 percent market decline is very possible, perhaps more. So I sought to protect wealth while having an inflation hedge via the index annuity.
