RFK Jr. Is A Dangerous Authoritarian, But Compared To The Rest Of The Kennedy Clan, He Is A Saint!
Is there another American family that is as vile, entitled, politically cutthroat, and just all-around disgusting as the Kennedys? Sure, the Clinton Crime Syndicate was in the running, but thankfully there are only three of them, and Chelsea seems to be about as dumb as one can be and still function.
Luckily for America, the energies of the Kennedy are largely dissipated...lost in a never-ending cascade of drug overdoses, plane crashes, murders, inbred idiocy, and hopefully an America that is less enamored of the tired but ceaseless references to a mythical Camelot. And mythical it was. JFK was far less impressive than the hagiographic histories would suggest, although anyone who bedding both Marilyn Monroe and Angie Dickinson gets a bit of credit for being an unrepentant rake. His younger brother, while still displaying the typical Kennedy clan entitlement with women, also did a good job as his brother's Attorney General. Was he a sleazy Kennedy? Of course. But he had good political instincts and actually did the job. The youngest brother might have been the worst! Ted Kennedy began by drowning Mary Joe Kopeckne, and continued in that vein for the rest of his career! Fast forward 55 years, and we have the interesting and, frankly delicious scenario of a Democrat party going after a Kennedy hammer and tongs. RFK Jr. is a crank, with insane political views, and a singular dedication to a brand of litigious environmentalism that is successful, and sadly destructive. His scientific acumen is...um...retarded, judging by his belief in the thoroughly debunked vaccine-autism link. He also holds a dim view of quaint freedoms like freedom of speech, and has publicly stated his desire for "Climate Deniers" to be jailed. But all of that is perfectly okay with the Kennedy clan, who have no beliefs other than the insatiable desire for power, prestige, and cold hard cash. And they have been successful acquiring all three, courtesy of the Democrat party. It is only when RFK Jr. attacked the Democrat Party apparatus for doing what they have always done, which is manipulating the political process for its own gain, that he became a pariah.Family means nothing. Loyalty means nothing. Fighting for one's beliefs mean nothing. Support for the Democrat party is the only thing that matters, and anyone who pushes against that monopoly is to be crushed...even if he is named Kennedy! Hopefully RFK Jr. will survive the coming onslaught of Kennedy attacks and the Democrat party sleaze machine long enough to provide Donald Trump with a few votes from the starstruck Kennedy-lovers in America. While I strongly disagree with RFKj's political positions, I applaud his willingness to take a stand. I'm sure he knew what would happen after his speech, but he did it anyway. There are plenty of people with whom I agree politically, but who would blink and skulk away faced with a similar choice.

It is of course the rest of the Kennedy clan who has betrayed their familiy's legacy. Teddy was a pig of course, but his brothers were flawed, but as far out of step with today's Democrat Party as, for example, Tulsi Gabbard.
The bottom line with all of this is, the Democrat Party is as evil an entity as any of us have seen in our lifetimes, and as with all fascist/communist regimes, must be destroyed.

Politics is full of various incestuous relationships. The list of families who have multiple members situated in office is quite long. In some cases the families hold sway over important political positions or lead committees that have some sort of role in legislation/law.

It seems pretty clear from what Kennedy said the other day that he sees his role as working on things like children's health and cleaning up the food supply. I don't have much in common with RFK Jr. but he's largely right on these issues.
You win elections by increasing your number of voters. Trump isn't going to turn into RFK Jr by brining him on to focus on things they agree on.

the first thing about being a political leader is how much support can be gathered, and what sort. It is either personal, or organizational. Cornell West has about the same poll numbers as Chase Oliver, and West doesn't have a national movement behind him, but they pull about the same
The second is what sort of support. Is it institutional or is it individual, both are important too. A lot of that is who expects to get what out of it.
I find it interesting that Kennedy has moved towards "we will destroy those people who are hurting you" in the classic Dem fashion, but that the focus is not institutional racism or income inequality, but being poisoned, starved and mistreated by groups that have captured the administrative state. That is big.

I remember seeing someone mention following a ceiling fan with your eyes. I did that all the time as a kid. You try to move your eyes fast enough to differentiate or 'freeze' one of the blades.

The entrance of RFK Jr. at the Trump rally coming out to My Hero by the Foo Fighters was awesome. I don't know how long that to took to setup, but kudos to the Trump team.
It took all the oxygen out of the Harris campaign the day after their convention.

A lot of hard core Trump supporters are also against eating bugs and forced vaccinations, and Kennedy is a sign that this is also an important element in the campaign.
Add to this Vance's background of poverty in the rustbelt, it sounds like a lot of the neglected areas of America are getting some real concern for a change.
Personally I want to hear the messaging: no one is coming to save you, but we are going to try and keep the bastards off your neck while you save yourselves.

It's very simple: I don't trust a Kennedy. RFK jr may have a few views that coincide with American (as opposed to Kennedy) values but I can't trust his manner of achieving them. Could I be overly cautious about that? Possibly. But too many decades of BS, press manipulation, criminal shielded privilege, and more by the entire family calls for skepticism.
I would have the same concerns if the family involved was the Obamas, Clintons, Bushes, Cheneys, or McCains.

There's an article on Epoch Times about a study that was recently done of children's health outcomes someplace on the west coast. I don't have access to the article, not an Epoch Times subscriber.

I started school in 1964,. I want to say vaccinations became common right around 3rd grade or so. Mid to late sixties? By the time my kids were born, infants were being vaccinated, I believe.”
I remember all of us lining up at school in ‘67 or ‘68 and they had this vaccination gun that they’d press against your upper arm/shoulder and it would give you 5 or 6 vaccinations at once. Nobody had any choice, we were all just told to stand in line and do it.

My brother and I got the polio vaccine in 60 or 61. We went to the high school auditorium with my mom and ten thousand other kids and they gave us a sugar cube in a little paper cup with the vaccine on it. We had to chew it up and swallow it. We stood in that line a very long time.
The difference between then and now is we all knew kids in the neighborhood that had polio and the vaccine actually worked. You got the vaccine and you didn't get polio. It was a real deadly disease that could cripple you sometimes for life or in some cases kill you.
Now we don't know if the government is lying to us or not especially after the covid vaccine bull$hit.

I recently counseled a new father coworker to get the vaccines for your child if you want, etc. But no reason to get 7 in one day. Spread things out for the babies system. Sledgehammering a babies immune system just seems wrong.

Babies spend the first year of their lives surviving on their mother's immune system. So unless there is a particular reason the mother's system isn't working right, or some other condition that makes the child susceptible early on, no jabs the first year.

The initial rollout of (a) Polio vaccine was not necessarily trouble free. The difference then Polio was a horrible disease and fairly easy to contract. Parents didn't need to be browbeat into getting it. They wanted it.
I think the problem was initial live-virus versus killed or attenuated viruses.
Interestingly enough one of the last places on the planet that has wild Polio virus is Afghanistan. There are all sorts of weird permutations and combinations that I do not claim to understand, but it is possible for someone who has taken the Polio vaccine - depending on the type - to spread it, because in an inoculated or herd immunized society it doesn't matter. Gives me the heebie jeebies to think of millions of unvetted illegal or foreign nationals crossing borders unmonitored.

Ike refused the French request for air support at Dien Bien Phu. Ike did send advisors in 58 as I recall but didn't want to get deeply involved. JFK might have wanted to get out but he didn't take any concrete steps to do it. Then JFK was killed and Vietnam snowballed downhill

After 3 days he passed out from a “sudden onset” high temp fever. Literally just sitting there one second then flopped over the next. He turned red, stopped breathing, passed out completely unresponsive. He did start breathing when my wife blew on his face (911 person said to do that). His temperature was insanely high 110F when the paramedics checked him.
He basically reset to a newborn stage and has been moderately autistic (self stimmy behavior, ecolalia, limited comprehension and attention span) ever since. Thankfully he can take care of his personal hygiene, communicate verbally and do basic simple tasks).

I remember all of us lining up at school in ‘67 or ‘68 and they had this vaccination gun that they’d press against your upper arm/shoulder and it would give you 5 or 6 vaccinations at once. Nobody had any choice, we were all just told to stand in line and do it.

I got the swine flu shot when I was in the Army in Germany. It put that vast majority of our battalion down and out. I could barely get out of bed for a couple of days. It was all I could do it get water to drink and make it to the latrines. It killed some people in our division and we sent some back to the states with severe brain damage.

And like I said, adults can make their own decisions. We have an epidemic of childhood obesity. We are spending a bunch of money to support low income families. That should not mean soda pop and Lunchables. And Big Mike was a flop at this but kids need to be encouraged to eat better foods. We need exercise in schools again. But honestly there wasn't a parent around that would not have leapt at the chance to get their kid vaccinated against polio back then. You saw victims of polio everywhere back in the 50s and 60s, parents didn't need to be forced to get their kids vaccinated.

There were a couple of Cardiologists who had a poidcast, called the Accad and Koka report, who discussed the history of Polio and the shots with a guest, and this podcast probably ended their podcast.
Both have very serious opinions, and discuss the history, the usefulness and the importance of the inoculations

That is truly horrifying. Anyone with that kind of experience needs to know... did the recommendations from your child's doctor cause that or not? Did you following those recommendations cause it or not?
