It's Happening: ABC "News" Reports That RFKJr. Will End His Presidential Bid Tomorrow and Endorse Trump

Nice get.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is planning to drop out of the presidential race by the end of this week, sources familiar with the decision tell ABC News.

Sources tell ABC News that Kennedy plans to endorse Donald Trump -- but when asked directly by ABC News if he will be endorsing the former president, Kennedy said, "I will not confirm or deny that."

"We are not talking about any of that," he said.

Here's my big-brained blogger take on that: A non-denial is not a denial.

It's not my fault I just wrote that stupid sentence. You're the ones who come here. You know this is me working at peak levels.

Sources cautioned the decision is not yet finalized and could still change, with one source adding that Kennedy's hope is, in part, to finalize things quickly in order to try to blunt momentum from the Democratic National Convention.

One possible scenario being discussed is for Kennedy to appear on stage with Trump at an event in Phoenix on Friday, though the sources cautioned that Kennedy's thinking could always change and sources close to Trump say no plan for Friday is finalized.

For his part, Trump said he would be "honored" to have RFKJr.'s endorsement.

He also points out that the Democrats have rigged the election against RFKJr.

Former President Trump spoke to "FOX & Friends" on Thursday about whether Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. might drop out of the race and endorse him.

"He is a very good person. If he endorsed me, I would be honored by it. I would be very honored by it. He really has his heart in the right place. He is a respected person," Trump said.

"But, overall, I thought the Democrats, he was a Democrat, I don't know what he is right now. But he was a Democrat. They treated him very badly. I think he would have, he goes around saying he would have beaten [President] Biden in the primary. I think there was a good chance," Trump said.

I thought that RFKJr.'s running mate, Nicole Sheridan, would object to this and throw a wrench into the works. She's a far-left San Francisco tech millionaire, after all.

But no, she's on board, and she's spitting fire about the rigged election:

Kennedy's running mate, Nicole Shanahan, recently told Fox News that they were considering dropping out and endorsing Trump. She added that "there's only one party that has obstructed a fair election for us, and unfortunately it was the Democratic Party."

Video of that below.

Kennedy will be speaking in Phoenix tomorrow at 2pm Eastern, or 11 am local time. Trump is speaking in the neighboring suburb of Glendale that evening.

I thought that Trump might join RFKJr. on the stage to accept the endorsement, but that seems dangerous: RFKJr.'s people will be deeply disappointed he's dropping out, and will not be receptive to seeing Trump take their dreams away.

But this report by Colin Rugg is almost certainly correct: Kennedy will speak at his own rally in the morning, and then speak at Trump's rally that evening.

Kennedy's voters may not be very persuadable. After all, most of them understood that RFKJr. could not win and that did not deter them from supporting him. They had the opportunity to support Trump, a man with a much better chance of becoming president. They passed that opportunity over.

However, if Kennedy and Shanahan continue talking about the Democrat's attack on democracy, and making it clear that Kamala Harris is the reason they can't get on more ballots -- maybe some will peel off to support Trump.

Also, many Democrats have "come home" to support Kamala, abandoning RFKJr. Maybe RFKJr. can make them reconsider their decision to vote for the Communist. They won't go to Trump, but maybe RFKJr. can convince them that Democrats are the real threat to democracy.

If Kennedy and Shanahan can get a bigger audience for the messages below, we might have something here.

The biggest thing, in my mind, is that a lot of the loony Left are big RFK admirers even if they are supporting Harris.
These are also the people most susceptible to the propaganda that Trump is evil, narcissistic, incompetent, threat to democracy,.......

But what this does it is *normalizes* Trump. How bad can he be if he can find common ground with RFK? Maybe the DNC really are the baddies after all. And that deflates support from one subset of the loony Left

I know -- if candidates get a certain number of votes, they get some money. Whoop-de-doo. Some things matter a little more than that. And Kamala NOT winning IS MUCH, MUCH more important that the Libertarian candidate getting money from the Federal government. 189 Tough to say what RFK's impact is. He is polling at 3-5% which suggests he has some small but real constituency. I always thought it obvious that he would pull more votes from Democraps than Trump. Which of course is why the Dums did him dirty and tried to get rid of him (and actually get him murdered).

I think his endorsement will probably mean more Dums will stay home and not vote at all, which is a good thing. I suspect his support is mostly moderate Dums including those old timers who still have fond memories of JFK. I doubt they can bring themselves to vote for the Demon Trump. But they probably won't vote for Kumswala either.

Certainly RFK and Shanahan are fumingly livid over getting fucked over by the DNC. They will certainly do everything they can to fuck the DNC back. That may be the best news of all.

As fantastic a guitarist as he is, he is an even better human being. Humble, smart, friendly, *and* an honorary Moron. I even flew to Australia to see them (that one I burned miles for a business-class seat though). Now if your client paid for the full package (1st class, limo, prime seats, fancy hotel), that's different.

There was a poll the left slobbered over that said that a third of the people polled said they would FOR someone if Swift endorsed them. They conveniently ignored that a third of the same people polled said they would vote AGAINST someone swift endorsed. So it's a wash according to that poll.

She will feel pressured to endorse. But her dream of winning an Oscar and being a legit movie star, which she craves and which I think the left promised her for shilling for politicians, hasn't come true. To counter this, the Dems will start a hate campaign toward RFKJr. Not just what they had been doing, but getting personal and vicious.

Former U.S. ambassador to Canada gives 'tsunami warning' about Trump

A former United States ambassador to Canada is sounding the alarm that a second Donald Trump presidency would cause chaos for Canadians as he urged Americans abroad that their votes could prove crucial in the presidential election.

Bruce Heyman, who served as ambassador from 2014 to 2017, gave Canada a "tsunami warning."

"If Donald Trump is elected president, Canada is at great risk," he said.

Not all of it but when they switched to Harris Kennedy lost support and most of the dems that were going to go to her already switched. He really is moderate if you read all his positions. The anti-vax crowd that likes him will either stay home or swing to Trump.

If the Dems thought it would help them they wouldn't be suing and wasting money to get him off the ballot. The New Yorker wouldn't have wasted there time on the road-kill bear/biker expose if they thought destroying Kennedy would hurt Kamala.

Posted by: ... at August 22, 2024 03:14 PM (4DWWO)

I remember reading about that back in the day, it was creepy and gross. If Lena was a man, the way she behaved, stalking Swift in order to befriend and groom her, would have gotten Dunham a restraining order from Swift's lawyers.

Taylor credits Dunham as one of the people responsible for changing her mind on abortion.

I don't know how close they are anymore though. Jack Abramoff is Swift's main producer, and he and Lena were dating at the time Taylor befriended Lena. So some of that friendship might have been calculated.

Lena and Jack weren't going to get married until gay marriage was legal nationally. Then it was and surprise! Jack didn't ask to marry her. They broke up and he ended up with a much skinnier girl.

If RFKJ gets PDJT to change his views on that 'organically', that would truly be huge. Getting duped on the efficacy of mRNA would be a great platform to run on for the last 70 days of the election. There is a lot of pent-up anger about how that went down, and if the Dems have gone all-in on defending Biden's actions in that regard, Trump can open up a whole new front with Undecideds by going after Big Pharma fully on this.

Cook is going off of public polling which has massive issues even if you disregard all of its other massive issues. RFK's vote get was so small, there was essentially no way to get a good enough sample of their voters to accurately measure statistically who they were, what they wanted, or who else they might vote for.

I'd honestly trust the DNC's lawsuits more than Cook's analysis. The DNC spends more on one internal poll than the entire media does on a month of polls.

No one stays on top forever. I don't know what will dim Taylor Swift's star one day... marriage and babies? Her teen angst songs finally not resonating when she's in her 60s? But something will happen.

I do suspect she's jealous of Gaga, who has a huge music fanbase, a powerhouse of a voice, AND has acting chops plus an Oscar for her mantel. There's still a lot of successes eluding Swift that she's fighting to get.

She forgets how jealous Hollywood is though. Plenty of people will not be rooting for her to achieve those things, even if they smile to her face and buy her concert tickets for their daughters.

My old Dem buddies have been flooding me with frantic calls, texts, and emails. Unlike Ro, I wouldn’t dream of airing those private conversations publicly, but the message is clear: they’re terrified of the idea of our movement joining forces with Donald Trump. When I point out what the Democratic Party and their super PACs have done to sabotage our campaign, their response is always, “but Trump is worse.” Here’s an idea: stop suing us. Let us debate. Quit rigging the media and the polls. It’s a simple formula, people—get with it.
