"In the name of saving democracy, the Democrat Party has set itself to dismantling it."

Says Democrat-aligned judges worked to "throw me off the ballot and throw Trump in jail." Notes "rigged primary" to protect Senile Joe.

Attacks Kamala for hiding from the media and the media for allowing her to hide, calling it "profoundly undemocratic."

"Instead of showing us her character, the DNC and its media organs engineered" a false enthusiasm for Kamala which consisted of little but "balloons."

Talking about "weaponizing the government," "censorship," and "media control."

"When a US president colludes with the media to censor its opponents," that's an attack on our democracy.

Says the media has revealed itself to be nothing but "house organs" of the Democrat Party.

Calling out "representatives of those networks in the room right now" for colluding to deny him any network interviews, except two, subjecting him to a "deluge" of hit pieces, and "colluding with the DNC" to keep him off the debate stage.

"The mainstream media was once the safeguard of democracy and free speech, but has joined this systemic attack on democratic expression." (Approximate quote, he's speaking too fast to get every word right.)

"Are we still a role model for democracy, or have we made it kind of a joke?"

He's suspending his campaign, not ending it.

He says you can still vote for him in blue states or red states as that will not affect the outcome.

But, he says, in the ten battleground states, where he'd be a spoiler, he's removing his name.

He says he is now throwing his support to President Trump, the three issues motivating him are free speech, the war in Ukraine, and the war on children. (? -- I guess he means covid/vaccines.)

I don't think his plan is too wack or bad for trump. He has to give his supporters hope if he wants to continue leading them. This is a compromise step that keeps him a viable voice, while he urges his voters to vote against the Deep State/corrupt Democrat Party/corrupt media.

Says Trump will re-open negotiations with Putin. "This alone would justify my support for his campaign."

Says last summer it appeared that no candidate would champion peace, free speech, the crime inflicted on our children, cleaning corporate influence out of our government, but now one candidate has adopted them "as his own."

Speaking now of "unifying a national populist movement" of all races. Says he will bring this spirit "to the campaign of President Trump."

Overall take: Helpful for Trump, pitched to bring as many of his supporters as possible on his new journey of supporting Trump (and maybe becoming Health and Human Services Secretary). His big emphasis on health issues at the end makes me think that's the deal which has been struck.

If you didn't watch it, watch later until he starts talking about what a commenter called the "abstruse" health and dietary stuff. It's strong through most of the first half.

He will almost certainly be speaking with Trump tonight from Greendale, Arizona.

Deb Heine sent me this screencap of what I assume is a Trump announcement for his own event in neighboring Greendale tonight. Trump will be featuring an unnamed "special guest."

Whether or not they are in the mood to endorse Trump, there's no doubt whatsoever that both RFK and Shanahan despise the DNC. And rightfully so, given how the DNC shafted them and continues to shaft them.

I think both of them want to see Kumswala go down in flaming semen loads, and are willing to try to make it happen. That is a good thing for Trump regardless of any actual endorsement.

They don't accurately track citizenship status when it comes to crimes. IIRC, they only count as illegals those who are obviously and plainly so, such as those already on deportation lists or who have already been deported. That method obviously misses the vast majority of illegals who are 100% illegal but have not been formally adjudicated as such.

But he's also saying "I'm not going to compete in battleground states. I want those to go for Trump. Vote for me in the non-battleground states."

That's asinine: Those states aren't going to go for RFK JR. They're non-battleground because they's so deep in the tank either for Trump (like an Oklahoma) or a Harris (like a Vermont) that a third party isn't going to make a dent.

He should have just quit and endorsed Trump, but maybe he doesn't want to have to lose access to campaign funds.

The show seemed to make an attempt at more historical accuracy than a lot of others. And Hardie wasn't a loner; he was backed by a big organization and could call on their resources. Strangely enough, I'm not worried about this election at all. The big(gest) reason why is that Elon owns X. The message that is being firewalled by the MSM is getting out there with X. Billions of views; even if 50% are bots it's getting to the people who the Dems traditionally reached. There are other reasons: COVID ending so Kamala is not getting anywhere near the 50 million mail-in ballots that Biden received in 2020. Additionally, the RNC got rid of Ronna Romney, so not nearly the level of internal sabotage that existed before.

I always believed that the TEA Party and Occupy Wall Street (very roughly) were two sides of the same coin. Both antiestablishment movements with their own ideological takes on the Financial Crisis of 2008. It's taken almost two decades, but parts of those two coalitions are reuniting under one banner. I've been in meetings where the sponsor (drug company) tells us that they are canceling a trial due to the fact that there's not enough time to recover the costs on whats left of the patent.

I've never been in a meeting, or seen an email or instant message where someone asks "How can we hook our customers on something that won't make them healthy or will kill them?" Every day my job is to make the drug development process better, faster, cheaper. Speaking as someone who wouldn't be alive without these same products - I find it sad that my industry has done such a piss-poor job of public relations to the point where we're looked at as villains.

If I were to try to fix America's health issue, I think I would try to focus on prepared foods and snacks. I think fixing standards and guidelines on those things would be the greatest and fastest route to improving health in the US. Pharma is probably very close in effectiveness as well.

It was a fine speech. And I think everything he said about processed food is correct. The current rage near me is to try to put kids on statins, despite the fact that the hormone production of puberty demands more cholesterol not less. Another assault on kids.

849 What you really got with this speech was a look at what a politician SHOULD be; able to speak extemporaneously, defend his positions, and say the truth (or at least his opinion) without equivocation. The fact that those things are nonexistent in the Dem campaign speaks volumes. It's a disaster for them. People might actually come to expect them.

I'm no advocate of kids consuming sugar-filled drinks, but that isn't the problem (or at least most of it). The major problem is that these kids are consuming these sugary drinks and other bad foods while sitting on their asses playing video games or staring into their phones. We are a sedentary high-tech society and that is killing us. The human body is meant to be in motion.

Some of the things we give babies is to protect them from any spread because of the contact with the mother during the birth process itself. The Hep vaccine might be related to that.

One area RFK should talk about is how the Democrats addres fighting tooth and nail to get others like Jill Stein and Colonel West of the ballots, and how democrats don't want democracy, they want elections chosen by singular judges. At least here in Texas, the Orange Julius rights were bought by Dairy Queen. They used special equipment to mix the drinks. Not all the DQs bought the equipment, and the one near me that did apparently dropped the service.

Why a company like that puts themselves in that position and fails to market the availability always leaves me wondering why they did it in the first place. The Orange Julius was really good, and the strawberry version was exceptional.

The reason we are getting fatter and sicker and the kids have chronic diseases is because there's a lot of guys protecting their corrupt little rice bowls in the food-pharma-research-medicine interface.

Doctors know there is something wrong, but they exist in a paradigm where they tell you that you are fine while they watch your labs get worse and worse, until you reach a standard threshold of disease, then they spring into action and "treat" you. That's their job, their brains are calcified by this training, and they can't even dare to think in another direction.

And what they know about nutrition, health maintenance, and disease prevention, couldn't half-fill a thimble.
