Kamala Harris Picks Pro-Child-Mutilation, Pro-BLM-Insurrection Former Teacher Tim Walz as Her Running Cuck

I hope everyone's having a meaty, musky Tuesday. Kamala Harris' best VP pick would have been Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. He's moderate -- um, by modern Democrat Party standards, leastaways -- and he's the governor of the tipping point state in this election. (A "tipping point" state is the state that's in the middle of the battleground states, politically -- it's where the election literally tips one way or the other.) He was the pick that scared me the most. Picking him would suggest that Kamala Harris is making a play for the middle. There was, of course, just one small problem with Shapiro: He's a Jew, and the antisemitic left hates Jews. Don't take my word for it -- here's Democrat Florida Representative Jared Moskowitz:

As an American, I am horrified at Walz's selection. He is small-minded, mean-spirited man. In one way, he will fit in with the Harris ticket: he ran a basement campaign for re-election in 2022, refusing to show up for debates with Republican Scott Jensen after the first one went badly. So Jensen was left debating an empty chair. Walz's character defects are considerable, but let's leave it at this: he was largely responsible for the George Floyd riots that devastated Minneapolis and other cities, because he dithered for days rather than calling out the National Guard. Sometimes you see something from someone who's been in politics for their whole lives that just feels so off base from reality that it flummoxes me.
Down ballot races are dictated by either overwhelming national forces or local issues, and as time goes on and split balloting goes away as a general practice, it's more of the former than the latter.
A VP that makes trannies and rioters happy doesn't address any of that.

A few things:
1. They still might switch out Harris, don't discount it.
2. They still might switch out Waltz for another Gentile; and
3. You are right that this whole clusterfuck is aimed to stop downballot llosses. That's not to say the Dems won't try to win/steal the presidency--they will--but the goal is to stop the bleeding. The jury is still out there, too.

Could be the Goldwater tactic in 1964. The GOP establishment wanted Goldwater blown out of the water in order to return the party control to its establishment ways. The Rockefellers, Romneys, and Scrantons were willing to sacrifice chunks of their own party officeholders in Congress in order to thwart populism.
McConnell on a smaller scale, has done the same thing to the Tea Party and to any popular Senate candidate to the right and tried to replace those candidates with corporate drone types or party switchers. Ryan and his co conspirators did likewise to thwart the Right.
McCarthy tried to emulate McConnell but apparently failed to get his revenge on those that ousted him.

Most ballots in states are set in stone soon. Latest is probably mid September when voting season begins in many states but some states have earlier dates to allow ballot printing, etc.
Latest switch for VP was Thomas Eagleton getting dumped by McGovern right before the Dem convention. Eagleton had went through electroshock therapy to cure depression and hadn't revealed this to the McGovern campaign before being chosen.

At the end of the day, the Jewish vote is meaningless, over 40pct live in just two states, NY and California, over 80pct live in 8 states, and how they vote is not going to move the needle in those states.
What is more important is to counter the money, power and influence of influential Jewish billionaires.
Just two, Mark Zuckerberg and George Soros, have had an enormous impact on our elections and deciding who gets elected in this country.

One is going to have to reclaim blue states politically if only to avoid a civil war. Trump going to blue states is important for congressional and legislative seats which languish when a party can no longer win at the presidential level.
Quite a few good folks here live in blue states for a variety of reasons. Any of them would welcome signs of recognition by the national GOP figures and large rallies such as Trump's in New Jersey give heart to those people.
Not everything needs to be about political calculus as it turns out that doing the right thing usually benefits a politician regardless of the prior pundit take.

You surely know this, but whenever Edwards gets mentioned here, it is the context of "Sinners In The Hand of An Angry God" which many of us had to read in high school. However, he is the most prolific theological writer America ever produced and one can find his writings on the net which cover a huge variety of theological subjects. I just hate for this great man to be reduced to one sermon.
