Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Senior Hamas Commander Dies of Covid-Related Israeli AirstrikeHe died with covid but not of covid. According to a report by the New York Post, Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in an Israeli airstrike on Tehran early Wednesday. Haniyeh was in Iran to attend the inauguration of the new Iranian president when the airstrike occurred. The Revolutionary Guard confirmed his death but did not provide details on who was responsible or the method of the assassination. Hamas, however, pointed the finger at Israel, stating Haniyeh was killed in a "Zionist airstrike on his residence in Tehran." In a brief statement, Hamas declared, "Hamas declares to the great Palestinian people and the people of the Arab and Islamic nations and all the free people of the world, brother leader Ismail Haniyeh a martyr." The Revolutionary Guard corroborated that Haniyeh was killed at his Tehran residence, adding that the cause was under investigation. No group has officially claimed responsibility for the assassination. Still, it comes in the wake of Israel's commitment to targeting Hamas leadership following the group's brutal October 7th attack on Israel. This assault resulted in the deaths of 1,200 Israelis and the abduction of 250 individuals.Iran claims that Israel's attack on a terrorist child-killer who was hiding in another country so that he did not expose himself to counter-fire was "cowardly." A diversity of definitions of "cowardly" is our strength. Haniyeh is the Austere Religious Scholar who admitted that Hamas deliberately traps civilians near Hamas bases to use their Hamas-caused deaths as propaganda against Israel.

But, Mossad is killing leaders in other countries yet somehow failed to know anything about the October 7th attacks? That video of the cat lady screeching at the Trump supporter on the plane is something. It’s a view into the deranged minds of these lunatics. It’s not clear what set her off. Was he wearing a MAGA hat? But she instantly goes into TDS.
She starts with a rant about how Trump can’t be trusted with the nuclear button. That’s a new one and not part of the standard NPC programming. Did she pay for the upgraded player pack? Then she suddenly veers off into Global Warming hysteria. Again, that’s not part of the usual TDS programming. But she can’t help herself. GW is the Holy Sacrament of these people’s lives. Then it’s on to a weird rant about Trump "not believing in gravity." I assume that’s code for being Anti-Science (tm) and an attempt to claim GW is as established as gravity. Finally, she's thrown off the plane. She was given of opportunities to calm down and take her seat. Nah. She seems proud that she got kicked off -- no doubt causing her a lot of trouble and inconvenience -- for screeching about Trump. She sure showed that filthy MAGA nazi! Trump broke these people. Perfect. Draw Iran into wider war and kill ceasefire negotiations. Two birds with one stone. I wonder what Traitor Trump and blood-soaked Netanyahu talked about?
Israel is not interested in this type of blame game. To hell with all the excuses anyone wants to peddle against taking out international terrorist warlords. Netanyahu is like Trump. He does not care about Jews or Muslims. He is about himself. The way Israel's system is, he can remain in office as long as the wars continue. Shaun King has something to say, "The United States and Israel have just assassinated the dear brother Ismail Haniyeh - who was the political head of Hamas. This comes after they already murdered virtually every member of his family. In the face of this, Brother Ismail remained steadfast to Islam and to a free Palestine. He was working hard, day and night, on the ceasefire even though these genocidal monsters had murdered his own kids and grandchildren." An Israeli strike is not good. Of the four major components of human decision-making: H abit I nstinct R eason E motion ...Reason is the s l o w e s t. The nasty trick the propagandists have played on us all is weaponizing the other three components, thereby preventing Reason from ever coming into play in the first place. (People CAN reason, they just don't get the chance) The best counterplay, if possible, is to defuse each of the other three BEFORE attempting to reason, and then have a method of reasoning that works even when everyone is bringing their own facts to the table (working on this now). Iran sent murderers into their nation to murder their people. Period. End of story. Nothing from there is an escalation. Anything they could conceive of would be an appropriate response. those climate activists said nothing when Hezbollah was setting Northern Israel on fire with rockets aimed at residential areas.
it never ceases to amaze me that the world condemns Israel for pinpoint strikes doing everything in it's power to avoid civilian casualties and are called war ciminals. While Hamas and Hezbollah, the Houthis and IRGC in Syria send rockets at civilian populations on a daily, daily!, basis and it is fine with the UN, the ICC, and governments around the world. Yashar Ali
@yashar Shaun King has just issued this statement (not a joke): “The United States and Israel have just assassinated the dear brother Ismail Haniyeh - who was the political head of Hamas. This comes after they already murdered virtually every member of his family. In the face of this, Brother Ismail remained steadfast to Islam and to a free Palestine. He was working hard, day and night, on the ceasefire even though these genocidal monsters had murdered his own kids and grandchildren. I never understood how he had such strength to push forward. But he knew and said that he was no different than the average Palestinian who has lost so much. These genocidal monsters think that this weakens Hamas, or weakens the resistance, but it does neither. It will only strengthen both. I must admit that I am furious, because they murder people with impunity. It’s absurd. But you can never destroy a people who do not believe that death is the end. I am sending prayers to his remaining family and to the leaders who must now rise up in his place.” - Responsible contrary opinions will be ignored. ---- Look at what it does not do. Protect privacy. As someone yesterday pointed out, a simple robust privacy bill would kill all social media. Because their entire business model is harvesting and selling personal information without the users knowledge or consent. Just a simple opt-in requirement with mandatory disclosure of what is sold and who buys it would kill them. Posted by: polynikes at July 31, 2024 12:46 PM (B1dzx) __ I'm no expert but my understanding is that the two craft have different roles. The F-22 is more of a dog-fighter/air dominance platform, while the Lightning is more of a dual air/ground striker. In head to head, the F-22 is superior, I think. Posted by: Frasier Crane The F-35 (A,B and C) can definitely do "air to air", but not as well as the F-22. The F-22 is faster and more manueverable, but still. The US theory of "air to air" is generally standing off and shooting with longer range missiles (like the AIM-120C). But the Russkies have the R77 hypersonic air-to-air, which has longer range and is MUCH faster. The F-35 can target (and being stealthy) can get closer to the adversary, while a bigger, heavier F-15, can carry a lot of missiles, ala, the new F-15EX, and do the shooting. The newest wrinkle is the AIM-174B, which is a Standard SM-6 adapted to be carried by an airplane (like an F-18 or F-15). It has REALLY long range. According to several statistics, Philadelphia has surpassed Detroit and New York City to become the American metropolitan area with the highest proportion of Muslims.[5] Posted by: L - If they'll do it with you, they'll do it to you, too at July 31, 2024 01:11 PM (NFX2v) 435

Yeah, no. Camela had her bump and it’s not enough. She’s now getting a reality check with video showing her own words. She’s a terrible candidate and it only gets worse from here. Reinventing herself won’t work with a lot of her on the records comments. As one Democrat operative put it yesterday, drastically changing your positions at this point smells political even to the most pedestrian voters. It smacks of dishonesty and the other side will play that to the max. She was a terrible candidate to begin with, trying to defend that is going to be her downfall.

417 412 I hate that they are trying to dpress me with this crazy polling. Trump up 3 in MI and suddenly down by 11. Overnight. Up by 5 in PA, suddenly down by 4. Those are pretty dramatic swings.
Posted by: sharon Polling at this stage is all about trends. Pick one pollster and keep with that over time. Trying to aggregate them simply makes a statistical mess as you lose the good info by adding bad. Later in September, you see better polling using likely voters than registered or all individual sampling. State polls are particularly subject to error and wild swings right now because getting a representative sample is more difficult than a nationwide poll. To get accurate state polls, you have to oversample groups . But cheap media pollsters don't do that. Instead, they use a couple of minority respondents to impute the attitude of the sampling group as a whole. Bad practice and bad results leading to wide swings. On July 29, 2024 (10 years later), Air & Space Forces Magazine online interviewed U.S. Air Force Vice Chief of Staff Gen. James C. Slife. This Ukraine war-informed quote struck home: "We used to make the claim that since 1953 no American has been killed by air attack. We can't make that claim anymore," Slife said. "It calls into question, 'What does air superiority actually look like?' [Does] it look like 30,000 feet over the Yalu River (Korea) in 1953 or does it look like below 3,000 feet with quadcopters with a hand grenade slung to the bottom of them? There are Jews like Christina Hoff Sommers, who hate the anti-semitism of leftists but have such bad TDS that they will fool themselves that Shapiro's pick is a sign Kamala is "moving to the center." Clamp on ONE rail for a Hellfire Missile to one of the struts n' skid assemblies. Run the interface cable through an open sliding window, to the hand-held Hellfire control and display, operated by the Co-Pilot. Fly to within 2 miles of the target, FIRE on target, observe and record impact. Return to base, 10 miles or so. Dismount Hellfire mount, put it along with Hellfire Control & Display into Hilux, and disappear it along the dusty back roads to a designated egress point. Israel picks up the Hellfire gear, which is never seen in Iran, again. No need to fly a bird all the way in *from* Israel. Posted by: runner ===== Dem politics is essentially a black box so any guess about specifics involves information we are not privvy to including very expensive private polling in states and vast background checks looking for landmines to prevent the Eagleton or Quayle problem. Then, there is the individual politician's decision whether or not to be anointed VP. A lot of that calculus depends on whether the pol thinks it is a promotion to future and better things or a dead end job. Posted by: whig at July 31, 2024 01:24 PM (qdbNv) 473

Shapiro is one of the insiders of the PA election cheating. Kamala desperately needs her fingers in that to win the state.
Posted by: Cosda I am simply predicting based on public information about the importance of PA to the Dem path. As I mention earlier, picking Shapiro might also excuse abnormal voting patterns in PA as a supposed VP effect. Political research literature indicates little state effect in modern elections for VP and some for President (probably a selection bias problem as a person has to be thought well enough by their home state to get to Presidential nominee in the first place).
