The Morning Report — 7/4/24

Good Morning Kids. A very happy and blessed Independence Day to you all. America as it was founded and intended is on the verge of disappearing forever. The fact that it still resonates, or at least exists to a certain extent in the hearts and minds of a significant segment if not the majority of the citizenry is a miracle in and of itself.

If we want a democracy project, might I suggest it begins right here at home. And no, not the one the Left keeps yammering on about if they lose power and influence.

We need a renaissance. But before that comes a revolution. Or the re-establishing of the republic that was intended after the one 248 years ago.

It's too damned painful to contemplate what has been lost, and what will be required to even begin to take the first steps to try and restore it.

'Tis Thursday (right?). I took off yesterday, and that was relaxing . . . until my A/C began to fail in the afternoon. It runs and runs, but does not get the inside temp below about 75, and that was on a cloudy afternoon and evening. I turned off the A/C part and just ran the fan overnight, on the theory -- since it's happened before -- that the unit was icing up, and a defrost period might solve the issue. Yeah, it's not working. On a holiday, of course . . . and the imbeciles in the office may well be off tomorrow as well as the weekend.

I'm gonna have to buy a small window unit today or tomorrow, methinks.

I HATE this climate. No wonder the unit ices up. It runs eleven and a half months out of twelve.

79 See if I can summarize this analysis. Using a large over sample of black urban voters (400+), if you go into the demographics looking for pockets where Biden is doing better, you don't find any. Education, income, vote history, etc are irrelevant. The movement from Biden to Trump among black voters is consistent across the board.

At this point, throwing every bit of conservatism into the mix, Trump is getting at least 18% of the Black vote. That is really bad for Biden. It means Trump will win WI, MI, and PA, and will trounce Biden in GA.

Biden has to get these voters back into his camp, or get them to stay home and vote harvest their ballots.

103 I think NASA contracted with SpaceX to de-orbit the ISS when it's decommissioned. The plan is to send it into the ocean (Pacific?) in a "controlled de-orbit."

SpaceX will have to build something (a space tug or the like) that can "steer" the ISS during the process.

Sort of shows how much NASA trusts their other prime contractors to get the job done.

In large numbers in Florida, Arizona, and Nevada, hispanics voted for him in the primary. This is unheard of.

The thing that worries me and others is when that sort of stuff starts to happen to an old person it will accelerate quickly and pretty soon he will start to have very public episodes that can't be explained away with the line that he has a cold. I doubt we will see much of joe biden in public except in very scripted events.

If he was at his best on debate night our country is well and truly fvcked long before January 2025 and the 25th amendment is our only hope.

Using a large over sample of black urban voters (400+), if you go into the demographics looking for pockets where Biden is doing better, you don't find any. Education, income, vote history, etc are irrelevant. The movement from Biden to Trump among black voters is consistent across the board.

At this point, throwing every bit of conservatism into the mix, Trump is getting at least 18% of the Black vote. That is really bad for Biden. It means Trump will win WI, MI, and PA, and will trounce Biden in GA.

Biden has to get these voters back into his camp, or get them to stay home and vote harvest their ballots.

My windows are 36" or a fraction more, and I lubed the window (which hadn't been opened more than a few inches in years) so it slides up to 16". My living room/kitchen is about 250 sq. ft. I guess I could put a fan in the doorway to the bedroom and blow some cool air in there at night, unless I want to buy a separate unit for that room (about the same size).

Or would I do better to go to Home Depot?

I remember -- no A/C in home until I was almost 13, and none at school until I got to college. I do NOT want to go though that again.

If this window unit works out, I might buy a second one for the bedroom and leave the central A/C off until they can fix it. Which might not be until Monday or later. I'd hate to spend nearly $500 on two units I can't easily take with me when I move, and I don't want to leave them for the apartment imbeciles . . . but I can't function comfortably in this climate without cool air.

The window unit I'm looking at has a programmable off/on. So I could shut it off during the day and have it come on at, say, 2 pm, so the place will be cool when I get home about 4:30.

Twitter was such an obviously crucial asset to the globalist cabal (or whatever you want to call the enemy) that some people wonder if he didn't have some serious backing by white hats in order to succeed at that purchase. Some say we have as good as won already, like a chess game where there are only a handful of moves before checkmate. We cannot expect our opponent to simply knock over his king and admit defeat on this one, however.

It's funny about the debate, though. The debate moment in 2020 that I remember the most showed Biden wasn't all there, but he had a distraction to cover for him. Biden was rambling on about something, said there were three things. While he was stumbling along, Trump got into the real debate, which was with the moderator. WHILE HE WAS TAKING ON THE MODERATOR, Trump also managed to pay attention to what Biden was trying to say, because when Biden stumbled, and said aloud "now was I on number one, or number two?" (or something like that) Trump chimed in AND TOLD BIDEN WHERE HE (BIDEN) HAD LEFT OFF. But nobody else was paying attention to Biden - they were paying attention to the Trump vs Media debate.

Nobody seems to recall that Trump's lawyers question Kamala's eligibility for POTUS. I guess the idea is that while she was born in the US, her parents were not US citizens, so she is not a "natural born citizen".
