Good Morning Kids. So the repercussions, or more accurately the reactions to Biden's horrendous debate performance are still reverberating in Democrat/Lefty circles. I find it interesting that the pundits and politicos, as well as the power brokers and factions within the party seem to be perceiving that their electorate might either sit on their hands come November or even switch to Trump. Meh, I don't see it. I think far too many are buying into the latest media/propaganda gaslighting that Biden had a cold, was over-tired or that Tapper and Bash didn't do a good enough job in calling out Donald Trump for supposedly lying, despite the fact that the whoppers came fast and furious, albeit in very loud mumbles and whispers from Biden.

And yet individuals from Newsom to Maryland's low-rent Obama-wannabe Wes Moore, J.B. Pritzker to perhaps Kamala herself are angling for pole position to take the place of Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants at the top of the ticket. There are also some considerable legal and election hurdles for the party to overcome, vis a vis replacing a candidate this late in the game. Not that the law matters to Democrats at all, as we have seen these past three years and certainly a hell of a lot longer than that.

That being said, you also have to contend with the Demento and his Doctor -- Jill, who are not eager to give up the reins of power, despite the considerable forces arrayed against them.

So, I have to wonder at the panic over Biden, because with a very large swathe of the population so utterly brainwashed about who the democrats are and what they represent, and ditto what they believe about conservatives and Republicans, does it really matter who their standard-bearer is?

Of course, on some level, we’ve long known that our lefty friends will vote for a radish if it has a “D” next to its name. Memory care patient Joe Biden’s election in 2020 and recovering stroke survivor Sen. John Fetterman's (D-Pa.) in 2022 made this abundantly clear. But Democrats were still able to stagecraft the illusion that these men were somewhat competent. The debate on Thursday night ended that. We now know beyond question that competency is not a requirement for a Democrat candidate. Team D may as well AI-generate a “candidate” and use her to brand its actions.
But the real game changer is that ordinary Democrat voters themselves are now dropping all pretense of caring about the candidate and admitting they’re voting for the machine.
Here is a typical comment I’ve been seeing around social media:

It doesn’t matter if Biden’s debate performance wasn’t perfect. I’m not voting for a person, I’m voting for values:

A woman's right to choose

Equality for people of color

LGBTQ rights

The right to vote
Sensible gun laws

Protecting the environment

Future SCOTUS judges

The ideals and principles of the Democratic party
If this sounds familiar, it’s basically the equivalent of one of those preening woke lawn signs that proclaim the moral superiority of the people residing within the high-end residence. But the point is that rank-and-file Democrat voters have admitted to themselves what we’ve known all along, and they are voting for the hive with eyes wide open now. . .
. . . The third leg of the campaign will be dependent on who the Democrat presidential candidate ultimately is. As mentioned above, Democrat voters do not care who it is; they are voting for their party, come hell or high water. Thus, the attacks on the Democrat candidate must be highly targeted to swing voters — disaffected Democrats, undecideds, and double-haters. As abrasive as Trump can be, his gift for summing up entire records in a nickname or catch-phrase can be invaluable here.

Nice job of insulting and sliming Trump, while wetting your girdle about stupid/clueless Democrats.

I suppose if people can finally wake up to the the nearly complete Islamization of France and at long last vote or try to vote out Macron, while voting in a (GASP!!!) "Far-Right" (whatever that means) government to try and stave off disaster, likely too late, what are the odds of that happening here, that is Democrats waking up to the myth of who and what they've been voting for and voting against?

If the anti-semitic pogroms, and the migrant rapists and murderers, the transexual madness, and the collapse of the economy won't open eyes, then what the hell will?

From an unusually good source: Obama’s tweet supporting Joe Biden was disingenuous. In private, Obama is telling people Biden can’t win, and he is therefore in favor of an open convention. Obama will not say whom he supports, nor as of yesterday afternoon had he met personally with Biden to deliver the message. Relations between the Obamas and the Bidens have never been warm. At times they’ve been hostile. But recently they’ve deteriorated further, mostly due to Jill Biden. In the hours and days after the debate, she kept her husband cloistered away from anyone who might convince him to drop out. Jill Biden is the driving force behind her husband’s reelection campaign, just as she was in 2020, when other members of the family (including Biden’s sister Val) considered him too impaired to run. The next generation of potential Democratic candidates understands all this as an opportunity and they’re circling, particularly Gretchen Whitmer, who is promoting herself aggressively.

She's doing well, thank you. And your prayers are humbling and appreciated, very much.

She has an appointment with the oncologist on the 11th and surgery scheduled for the 22nd. We just have to find out what the severity of the surgery will be and the treatment going forward. But, we're both keeping our spirits up and praying for the easiest of the options to come through.

There's an interesting wrinkle this time. Macron has been very supportive of Ukraine, like the good WEF supporter he is. He was attacked Le Pen for not being on board with the involvement he wants - but the far Left in France has always had a lot of Russian influence and support, and is explicitly very pro-Putin.

266 I happened to watch a YouTube video yesterday. It was Lynyrd Skynyrd in concert at Oakland Coliseum on July 2, 1977 playing their classic song Free Bird. It struck me…. These were the rebels of that day: rock ‘n rollers and a huge crowd of young people wildly cheering (drugs, sex and rock ‘n roll)…

But what amazed me is the stage had a huge confederate flag as the backdrop and since it was 4th of July weekend there was a huge American flag and a big duplicate of Mount Rushmore on the stage as well….. and the crowd was wildly cheering it was youthful exuberance…. The girls all looked lovely (halter tops galore). It didn’t seem decadent or trashy, but fun…. Now fast forward to today where I’m sure concerts are full of demonic symbols or at least Trump-bashing performers…. It was a better time. BTW… that band sounded great live!

The funny thing about the comparison is that *everyone* in Argentina who doesn't support Millei thinks of him as a PT Barnum, or worse. Trump is more of a catalyst rather than the Change itself.

I fully expect the Deep State and the Uniparty to thwart any effort of reform. The SCOTUS scuttling Chevron is a potentially cosmically powerful tool in the Reformation.

What Trump does is give permission to people to thrive. He has probably awaken some lions, (not that there are all that many in the world), but his resolve through the persecutions is to some degree contagious. We need the Tucker Carlesons to put words to Trump's martyrdom where We The People, one-by-one if necessary forms the US version of Canada's Trucker Convoy and hope that Trump's DOJ doesn't round up everyone and throw them in camps or the ovens.

You seem to be blithely ignoring the Chevron decision which would not have happened had Trump not won and made the SC appointments he did. That decision is a mortal blow to the administrative state and had it happened at time other than the morning after Trump beat Biden like a redheaded stepchild in a debate it would have been headline news for weeks. Quite possibly the most consequential roll back of the federal monster in a generation.

I have an NPR funeral dirge story. On January 20,2005, my female boss, received a call from police that her husband had killed himself by 12 gauge shotgun in a local State Park. Myself and another colleague went to collect his car, praying all the way that he didn't do the deed in the car. He did it behind the car, at least, big pool of blood behind the car. When I got in the car and turned on the engine, the radio came on-NPR playing the most dark, funeral, dirges on can imagine. I left it on the whole ride back, just to see if they kept this up. Of course they did, as it was the day of W's second inauguration. I don't blame them for the suicide, but they sure contributed.

Since we have moved from Election Day to Election Season, and have no problems at all in determining Winner either in court or after months of re-counting...

The beauty of the NPVIC is that most states have relatively low populations compared to a few Communist cities like NYC, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, etc. So a few million extra ballots conjured up in the corrupt states can override an entire set of ballots collected in 40 or so states.

Basically most states adopting NPVIC have voluntarily disenfranchised their entire voting population letting their delegates be chosen by Party Stewards in a handful of east-coast shitholes.

And we now allow these shitholes to take weeks if not months to produce the desired result. So the entire nation must wait for two or three cities to manufacture the Win for the Party.

The NPVIC is completely unconstitutional (disenfranchises voters, violates the prohibition against compacts among the states) but since it has never actually been used, there has never been any case in any court about it. (actual case or controversy requirement) To put it simply, you can only bring a case about what someone has done, not about what some group of people say that they might do.
