The Morning Report — 6//27/24

Good Morning Kids. Well, as Malig-Nancy Pelosi would put it, the Supreme Court has indeed "gone rogue." Meh it did that over 200 years ago with Marbury v. Madison and quite a number of other horrendous decisions ever since, but this one is right up there, or given the state of play of how our government has operated since the New Deal, is it really all that surprising?

The Murthy v Missouri decision is pathetic and dishonest. Faced with clear evidence that the government had arranged to censor individuals and viewpoints, Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s response was to lead a majority of the court’s leftists in mocking those who sued as idiots because the injury inflicted on them can’t be redressed since it already happened and because the social media platforms are still continuing to censor them even without direct government intervention.
This is the equivalent of “You can’t sue the government for blowing up your house because it already happened and since it failed to reappear, clearly its non-existence could never be attributed to government action.”
To issue her warping ruling, Justice Barrett had to argue that it’s unlikely the government would ever censor social media again.
“It is a bedrock principle that a federal court cannot redress “injury that results from the independent action of some third party not before the court.” Second, because the plaintiffs request forward-looking relief, they must face “a real and immediate threat of repeated injury.” Putting these requirements together, the plaintiffs must show a substantial risk that, in the near future, at least one platform will restrict the speech of at least one plaintiff in response to the actions of at least one Government defendant.”
And what are the odds of that?

You can bet your life that should Donald Trump actually survive the persecution via prosecution and if the key swing states which even Lefty pollsters are claiming will go to him, even with the rigging machine going into overdrive as it must especially this time around, political violence from the Left is always on the table, perhaps no more so than this go around.

Then ask yourself, would any Republican president or bureaucrat ever knowingly utilize their position to strong-arm the media to strip away the first amendment rights of their political opponents. Meh, would they even be given that opportunity and given the political inclinations of much of the media as mere house organs of the the Democrat left in the first place.

The judiciary was compromised long ago when the notion of a "living and breathing Constitution" was put above originalism and the strict reading of the Constitution. That was the fundamental transformation long before Barack Obama was birthed.

And here we are.

So the debate is tonight. Speaking of censorship, it should be quite instructive as to how Fake Tapper and his sidekick will prop up Sponge-Brain Shits-Pants and silence Trump, while hurling have you stopped raping women in Bergdorf's changing rooms yet, kind of questions. Ugh.

On a personal note: for those who have been asking about me, I'm four days into treatment and mercifully not feeling any side effects so far. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.

25 This situation is very reminiscent of the Russian Empire and the fall of the USSR but occurring at an incredible rate. It's like the stages of that have been compressed into a much shorter period of Time.
If one accepts the conceit Communism fails when factual information about its effects becomes too much to ignore, in an information saturation like now, it *might* accelerate and events can occur with a speed not possible in the past.

Guess we'll find out.

For no particular reason, might want to read this again for another angle on what they're doing: https://tinyurl.com/u52ub64e

For those who don’t know what this means, it means that the administration is able to draw a graph (like a network chart) of who is talking to whom. It is able to say what are the key nodes through which any business passes, find all its Internet ‘friends’ and interlocutors and potentially drill down into the comms themselves — in time series. . .

The fact that you belong to a large group, for example the 50% of the US population that is conservative or Republican, does not give you safety in numbers. Within this large group of millions are a much smaller number of key leadership nodes. They are the nodes that matter, the top of the hierarchy mandated by Dunbar’s Number. If you can control, corrupt or even bait those nodes you can reduce the entire group to impotence. You can effectively decapitate it. . .

Restaurants are getting squeezed from every angle - rent increased, wages may be forced to increase (see: CA), food is much more expensive. The perfect storm of costs, and then customers understandably balk and the necessary menu price hikes.

The domestic population, via abortion, birth control and personality has managed to drop below replacement rate. Cars have never been more cleaner in their operation. Coal plants have been closing and decades of optimizing everything from appliances to light bulbs has dropped base levels of consumption. So much heavy industry has been off-shored and what remains is scrubbed.

So why is the air quality worse now than ever?

• much more strict standards
• importing 60 million foreigners
• concentrating everyone into cities (where they measure air quality)
• having Leftist in charge of air quality.

Bezos immediately filed a complaint demanding that the FAA put strict limits to cripple SpaceX operations, and build lots of infrastructure at KSC, at government expense, to help support BlueOrigin.

Guess which side the government will take?

But now Melugin has found that actually, she was a human strip-mining operation, illegally accessing 1,600 police officer personnel records and handing them over to Gascon's office where it would illegally have names, addresses, health records, Social Security numbers, family members and others information it wasn't entitled to, the better to look for any little thing that they could use to put these officers on a blacklist known as the 'Brady list' where names of problem-cops are kept. Getting put on that list is considered a career killer. So, they were trying to kill 1,600 police careers based on their own standards, and their famous capacity to indict a ham sandwich.

Was it really about putting them on the Brady list, or something worse?

93 Christianity tends to grow and thrive where the church is under persecution.

Those are lies from the pit of Hell. So easy to prove its wrong. Tell me about the thriving Christian Church in Muslim countries, or in China, or in the former USSR. Things were so swell in Europe during the late Medieval that people risked their lives fleeing to The New World to practice their faith.

Being hacked to pieces in Congo is not a definition of "thriving".

Its also blasphemy to say that the Holy Spirit has little to do with the health and vitality of the Church, but "thriving" is a fruit of the Devil.

To the shores of Tripoli …

The First Barbary War (1801–1805), also known as the Tripolitan War and the Barbary Coast War, was a conflict during the Barbary Wars, in which the United States and Sweden fought against Tripolitania. Tripolitania had declared war against Sweden and the United States over disputes regarding tributary payments made by both states in exchange for a cessation of Tripolitanian commerce raiding at sea. United States President Thomas Jefferson refused to pay this tribute. Sweden had been at war with the Tripolitans since 1800.[5] The First Barbary War was the first major American war fought outside the New World, and in the Arab world.

Don;t have a link handy, by he described it on Michelle Malkin's podcast as a term of art they use trick people. When they say "our democracy" most people think of the "democracy" definition we learned as kids, while they mean something entirely different (as we''ve seen - they mean progressive rule). Beattie said that it's typically a tell that a color revolution is being facilitated by IC actors in the US when the MSM starts talking about a movement for "democracy" in some place like Ukraine.

We've all noticed the shift - the way the Democrats and MSM started using "our democracy" in a weird, new way in 2020 as if it was some holy, sacred thing, constantly at risk from half the country's citizens for simply having different politics.

235 By my math and in my area, using 9kW would net me an electrical bill of nearly $1,500 per month. What the hell are you doing?

Capacity While the base load of my computers, vampire devices (clocks, chargers, sensors) lights are around a couple hundred watts, the microwave, espresso machine are short interval draws; the 5-ton variable speed heatpump and blower nominally run 500W to maintain in 90+F outdoor heat, its the 5000W water heater, the 1500W aerobic septic tank pump, the refrigerators - its these high draw items that come in to service in an unscheduled manner.

The family wanted hot water for bathing so the 5000W Right There, then the bathing triggered the septic tank pump while the HVAC was cooling the house for sleeping.

Popped the circuit breaker on the generator.

But the inverter is the way to go. While a couple neighbors are burning a couple of gallons an hour of propane to spin their generators 24/7 at 3600RPM, the inverter dials down engine RPM to meet the load and my daily fuel usage is around 9 gallons of ethanol free.

I'll make that trade any day. I can always find more fuel, I can't rely on the propane delivery guy's schedule.

It's not a good debate tactic, and it would make Trump look bad. But, that's not the point, and no one cares about these farcical debates. 306 Jonathon Turley has a good article today on how Jefferson beat Adams in the 1800 election on the issue of free speech. Adams was using the Alien and Sedition act to arrest his opponents, much like Pedo Joe. Add that to the cowardly SCOTUS opinion on censorship yesterday, and it makes for a damn good campaign issue. Hope PDT uses it tonight.

Why can't Trump or his people insist on somebody like Sean as a moderator? Every single time, the whole team is crazy leftists. I pray for the day when Trump or Sarah H. 317 For some bucks you could install a small preheater tank with a heat exchanger in it and recover the waste heat from the generator.

They make heat pump water heaters, can draw from the hot attic (9mo out of the year) and pump the cool air into the garage. (~300W). Don't need to heat the water much in the summer.

Oddly the biggest problem is overcoming the auxilliary heat strips in the heat pump to de-ice the lines when the temps get below 30F (I can run heat pump down to 12F) that process takes no more than 90 seconds but draws 8000W so the second generator is a No Go due to capacity.

I thought about doing a Tesla Wall Battery, but it we are back to the inverter technology topping out, and the wall battery is something like 6kW max going through the inverter. I don't think it will synchronize with the gasoline generator.

I just need 90 seconds of an additional 10k every hour or so. (or go propane and THAT is expensive retrofitting)

333 I watched that Tucker clip this morning and the most heartening thing is the audience laughs at the journo.

But it's not as much of a slap as it should have been. She got more aggressive and insulting each time she restarted. I guess it was obvious enough that Tucker did not need to call it out. Just calling her stupid is letting her off the hook.

She had intent. She knew what she was doing and isn't dumb. She managed to get more insults in on him than he did her.

337 "bidirectional charging means is that if you plug your car in at a time when the grid needs power, it will suck energy out of your car’s batteries. It would be like a gasoline pump turning into a siphon whenever Exxon decided demand for oil was too high."

Except siphoning gas does not damage the tank. But charging and discharging a battery reduces its life. My lithium batteries claim to be good for 7000 cycles. If it was in a car and the power company was cycling them every day, it would reduce battery life by at least half.

348 Why do so many "love" Rachel Maddow? First, her research, her diligence, and her devotion to provable facts and absolute truth is unquestionable. She speaks into that camera like she's sitting next to you and speaking to you alone. Her humor is delightful, precious and perfectly timed, given the ugliness of what she often covers.

And educated! Doctorate from the university of Oxford so she’s Dr. Rachel Maddow.

She circles and circles around her point. She also repeats herself quite a bit. I stopped watching because she never seemed to land the plane.

It's the Rush Limbaugh method. Although her content is completely different, her method is the same. It goes back to something journalists used to learn. "Tell them what you're going to tell them. Tell them. Tell them what you just told them." Limbaugh used this method because he had to spend three hours delivering one, single point to his brain dead audience.

And when I mean "Pollsters" I mean the people in DNC phone banks who are curating a list of registered voters who the Leftist see an opportunity to proxy vote for the disenchanted voter without them knowing it.

Though most of voting is really manipulating desires of the masses. If you take your average person and implant a desire to vote for a particular person, or more accurately, cause them to emotionally support a particular person/party based on trigger words, then you really understand how a Democratic Republic operationally works.

||Officers were responding to a call on Sunday morning from a Tokyo resident, who said she was unable to contact her 53-year-old husband after he went to climb Japan's highest mountain.

The man had left home on Friday evening and was supposed to return the next day. On Saturday morning, he sent his family a photo taken near the summit. After that, he could no longer be reached.

While searching for the man, police found three people in a state of cardiopulmonary arrest at the crater on the Shizuoka Prefecture side of the summit.

Temperatures near the summit are low, and patches of snow remain. Many of the mountain huts, as well as the emergency medical center, are closed before the start of the climbing season.||

The B/W Mayberry were much better. I looked at Ken Berry as the Oliver was to the Brady Bunch. It wasn't funny any more. Preachy. It was a good show with good writers from the beginning no denying that.

Jill was back begging in fancy Philly on Monday night. "This election's not about age. Joe and the other guy are about the same age. This election is about character, wisdom, and ability." Longtime Biden surrogate, Ed Rendell, former Gov. of PA, was also at the event. Many can remember that fool from Biden's 2020 inauguration, rambling on while CBS showed the Bidens and Emhoffs together, ascending steps (what a difference 3+ years!) and how we need more goodness in our public discourse. American picked a very, very good man who could run and become President. Not necessarily the best spoken or most dynamic... but the certainty the person with the most humanity... (That was certainly a terrible mischaracterization then & things have careened downhill since.)
But Jill, "the daughter of a Navy veteran & stepmother of the late Beau Biden, a former army officer," said Trump's disparaging comments about service members, "really gets my Philly up." She told the crowd of supporters to remember the feeling they had the morning after Trump won in 2016.
"Remember how you woke up and you said to yourself, ...

(Well, she didn't do her (actually, WHYY's article) 1968 'friend's' abortion tale with the well-healed crowd so Joe & Beau were all she had to work with.)

"Inheriting several national crises including domestic terrorism, covid-19 pandemic (and 400,000 deaths), and economic hardships," they claimed at the inauguration he'd handle it best. But what has been made better during his administration? Exactly as he & Obama before, promises made, few kept, and where the hell did the $ go?

The Afghanistan debacle followed by deeper conflict in Ukraine, Israel, Haiti, nations in Africa. Personal political scandals. Rising consumer prices in part due to rising (union) transportation costs, basic healthcare & education crumbling for middle America, ^^taxes & fees 'keeping' another 20+ million who've entered the country w/the O&Joe administrations & expansion of civil service & certain non-profits. (Even the denim market slumps because its becoming unaffordable & utility and insurance costs are going up every few months.)

Joe's gotta go; 3rd time's not a charm.

(Current) State Department:
Since the passage of the Refugee Act in 1980, the United States has admitted more than 3.2 million refugees.
For FY 2024, the President has again set an ambitious goal of 125,000 refugees to be resettled in the United States.

While the national origin quota system officially ended in 1965, hints of it can still be seen throughout our immigration system today. There are roughly one million green cards issued annually. Of these, the majority are issued to the immediate relatives of U.S. citizens. (Jan 30, 2024)
