Insidious Feline Conspiracies Cafe

I don't even want to know what's going on here:

catclimbingwithskeleton.jpg

Cats pretending not to be evil.

Cats pretending they have no interest in conquest, only peaceful co-existence.

Cat pretends to sign a peace deal, but is already planning the next ambush on the stairs.

Cat biding his time before his next Preemptive Reprisal.

Cat: I'm not going to swat you, I promise. Dee, you bitch.

Cat owner: I have no idea why I wake up exhausted every morning.

Cat shows the love and affection for humans for which they are justifiably famous.

This dog has been deranged by cat subversions.

This dog will not bow to this cat's territorial aggressions.

Baby goat sounds like a baby.

Dog understands the value of moist relaxation.

Adopted!

Deer prances in the surf.

Bear prefers his meals to just fly into his mouth.

Sharing your water with a porcupine (I think).

Feeding the neighborhood owl.

Teamwork makes the dream work!

Took young Mr. Phoenix to the doggie chiropractor today to determine if he's healed enough from his injury to play with the other puppies. Doc said he could, but take it slow. I thought, "He's a six-month old puppy. They don't know what slow is." But we will work something out.

15 Hissy Fit has left us. The Tortie with me for 15+ years couldn't stand up on Saturday and we had to make the decision. She fought and when the vet put a stethoscope on her, her heart was strong. Everything else had failed.

https://x.com/cathyrusson /status/1800225739478073808 (long thread, remove space)

In the end, after calling the judge out on his meeting in chambers with the prosecutors + witness Kenneth Copland this morning without the defense attorney knowing, the defendant's attorney would not tell the judge who told him about the meeting (ex parte communications).

The judge then had the defendant's attorney arrested for contempt! (He sentenced him to 20 days, weekends, no contempt hearing, even though apparently case law says he gets one, it was denied.)

What is going on in Fulton County with their judges?

The only cat I ever had that actually loved, let alone tolerated, water was a Turkish Van (Bob T. Cat).

I'd put the stopper in and fill up my sink in the mornings with water, and Bob would sit next to it and play -- slapping at the water as if he was a bear hunting fish. After showering, he couldn't wait to get onto and play on the wet shower floor.

113 Myxobacteria can move by gliding. They typically travel in swarms (also known as wolf packs), containing many cells kept together by intercellular molecular signals. Individuals benefit from aggregation as it allows accumulation of the extracellular enzymes that are used to digest food; this in turn increases feeding efficiency until they grow to an enormous size and eat New York City.

138 I like the Oilers in the 1980s, Warren Moon, Bubba Richardson, Haywood Jeffries. They were a fun team to root for there’s no question about that and they always made the playoffs, but never won the big one, I don’t think they even made it there. In fact, I know they didn’t. But that was a fun team to root for in the 80s.

I’m guessing you’re talking hockey though I’m reading from the bottom of the thread up. Nothing really to say about that one, but I did love the movie Miracle.

218 Honorable Mention I watched Takashi Miike's 'Deadly Outlaw Rekka' which is mostly terrible and an excuse for the only cat left to put my right arm to sleep, but it has a very beautiful moment from I think? Miho Nomoto, where her husband has been killed and after an intense Yakuza kind of discussion, she walks to his chair, and curls up in it, caressing the fabric.

It's a great moment.

Oh, Joan Chen, Judge Dredd.
