Sefton: sefton at cutjibnewsletter.com | Quick Hits![]() The Democrat/Chinese Communist Party propaganda sheet the Washington Post lost $77 million last year alone, and has seen its readership fall by 50%. Washington Post leftwing layabouts -- I mean, "staffers" -- complained of the actions being taken to make the paper I read that they're attempting to wall off their most extremist leftwing propagandists into one section of the paper. I don't know if that's the opinion section or "service/social." Why not just fire them? Oh right, firing people who can't do their jobs competently is racist, sexist, transphobic, or Islamophobic, as needed. Below, a "former president of Pro Publica" says the "worst signs" for the future of the WaPo is that the new CEO says "I" and "you" too much, and not enough "we." If that sounds like gay communist touchy-feeley hibbity-jibbity to you, even leftwing media reporter Dylan Byers agrees. He thinks the "worst signs" are the parts about losing half of all readers and losing $77 million last year alone. ![]() As I wrote yesterday, the Post has fired its editor Sally Buzbee and is hiring a new team to right the ship--if righting the ship is even possible. The publisher met with the newsroom and was quite blunt about why the former editor departed and announced the changes he was making. "Reporters" didn't like the changes."Muh Diversity! I don't care that the paper is gushing blood out of its neck, I just want to keep muh phoney-baloney DEI diversity "job"![Vanity Fair:] When Washington Post publisher Will Lewis and new interim executive editor Matt Murray met with staff Monday, the newsroom was still coming to terms with the abrupt exit of Sally Buzbee, who had led the paper since May 2021. "Everyone was pretty shocked with your email last night," one reporter said at the meeting, according to a source present. The reporter suggested that "the most cynical interpretation sort of feels like you chose two of your buddies to come in and help run the Post, and we now have four white men running three newsrooms," and expressed surprise at this development given Lewis's prior commitments to diversity. Later in the meeting, another reporter asked Lewis whether "any women or people of color were interviewed and seriously considered for either of these positions," a question that prompted applause.Sally Buzbee, who ran the paper into the ground over the past three years, was just fired. Is the CEO job now guaranteed to be occupied by An Diversity forever? More at the link, including Jonathan Turley's experience as a columnist at the paper as it went into full leftwing advocacy mode. Biden: Israel may have committed war crimes, and Netanyahu is only continuing the war to retain power. Biden says this as he adopts a pro-Hamas policy to keep Dearborn, Michigan voting for him. Asked if Israeli forces have committed war crimes in Gaza, Biden says, "It's uncertain." From the start, the Administration knew Israel was pushing the limits of legal warfare, the Washington Post and others have reported. The conflict is driving a wedge between the U.S. and its allies. On May 31, Biden laid out a phased cease-fire plan that would end the war and secure the release of hostages. He has continued to pursue the complicated regional deal with Saudi Arabia. Some close to Biden say the only holdout to the broader pact is Netanyahu. The President declines to say as much, but when asked by TIME if Netanyahu is prolonging the war for his own political reasons, Biden admits, "There is every reason for people to draw that conclusion." Democrats are planning to boycott the Netanyahu speech at the Capitol: Matthew Foldi
Via RedState, useless Christine Todd liberal Republican Jodi Ernst says that Biden is responsible for the border crisis, and then lets out this pearl of wisdom on a hot mic: "Bottom line, never trust a man whose uncle was eaten by cannibals." Comments(Jump to bottom of comments)1

"Determined to stop the bleeding, Lewis put forth a desperate restructuring of the newsroom into three divisions (reporting, opinion and service/social), hoping against hope to salvage what remains by somehow boosting reader engagement. "
--- Sorry, that's just complete BS. WAPO doesn't exist to turn a profit, it exists to push the narrative. It's been wildly successful at doing that. So has the NYT, the networks, the cable nooz channels, farcebook, Google, etc, and so on and so forth. Wherever you see somebody talking about profits, they're lying to you. Disney isn't going to go out of business. It's been more successful at their mission this past decade than it's ever been before. Profits. Pfft. That's so 20th century. Here we go... @RepMattGaetz asks Garland for records related to DOJ comms with Fani Willis, Leticia James, Alvin Bragg. Garland says those are "independent offices," Gaetz pushes back that he's asking for DOJ federal records. This is after Garland unleashed unfounded claims that DOJ/FBI officials are being threatened and "under attack" for their work. I guess Americans and lawmakers are not allowed to criticize unelected federal employees 🤷♀️ Julie Kelly @julie_kelly2 Nadler now asking Garland about use of deadly force policy in FBI Mar a Lago operations plan. Garland says it's standard policy and that it was included in Biden search documents. Garland claims accusations have endangered the lives of law enforcement (prove it) Julie Kelly @julie_kelly2 Some reporters and influencers on *this* side (allegedly) insist that Donald Trump’s attorneys were notified before the raid began. I am ashamed of the Washington Post ever dark into my doorstep. Anyone who has not spent time with the paper is better off for it. When people look at left-wing news agencies, and put the Washington Post below others, they just don’t know the Washington Post well enough.
This paper is not just far left. There’s a particular malignancy about it. There’s a particular hate about it. They weren’t just obsessed about confederate monuments, If you ever look up that subject, the Washington Post in particular was the paper that started that entire thing and also finished it. I think at one time I read that they had confederate monuments on their front page over 100 times over two or three years. They were not reporting the news they were creating the news that they wanted to matter. There was a point where it became the Washington Post versus the entire southern part of the United States. It wasn’t about news it was that the Washington Post thought they were too good for the region. They were a part of and they literally wanted destroy it. I realized there are other left-wing papers like the New York Times, the Chicago tribune, the LA Times, etc. But anyone right of John Boener Posted by: Quint at June 04, 2024 06:57 PM (ZAhr4) 61

NEW: Comedian Jaime Caravaca gets clocked by right-wing activist Alberto Pugilato after making alleged ped*phile comments about his 3-month-old son. Pugilato was seen charging the stage and striking Caravaca. The incident stemmed from a comment Caravaca made on X where he responded to a photo of Pugilato with his son. "Nothing and no one can prevent the possibility that he is gay, and when he grows up, he gets tired of sucking black c*ck," the 'comedian' said. The comment was so bad that X limited it due to it potentially violating X's rules. FAFO. https://tinyurl.com/y58dmjjv 54 seconds; subtitled for your comfort. The thing about the Washington Post is they don’t even pretend to report some type of news. This paper is an organized weapon. The far left uses to attack. Whatever they think is an enemy at this time. Don’t ever sell the paper short that is exactly what they do. They ran that confederate monuments into the ground so long and never blushed because that was exactly the plan.

All that art deco stuff was still around in the late 1940s, and the cars must have been pretty neat to see. I won’t romanticize the past too much, it sucked in a lot or ways. True, but with a couple caveats. The Red Guard true believers - the next generations - make the Pelosis and Schumers and Bidens look like arch conservatives. The geriatric contingent won’t ever give up power, as is their custom, but as they shuffle off their mortal coil their replacements are a thousand times worse. I was at the 50th anniversary in 1994. I just happened to be there because I was traveling Europe and I ran into the vets in London and also in Paris it was perfect timing. I have great pics of those guys and remembrances but coming from a military family, a combat military family I have always cared about them. It was just a run-in. I was at a place and they were at a place. I know that time most of our WW 2 vets were at the end of their lives on this earth. I can’t believe it has been 30 years since that time I doubt there are many WW two vets left at all. God bless them. They literally were the best of us.
