The University of Nevada was added to the list of universities who offered segregated graduation ceremonies this year. According to Campus Reform, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas hosted five “affinity” celebrations.
Advertisement From May 7 to May 10, the Office of Student Diversity Programs (SDP) reportedly organized graduation celebrations for Asian and Pacific American, “LatinX”, Native American, African American, and LGBTQ+ students. The goal was to celebrate students with diverse backgrounds and recognize their achievements. “We strive to serve a diverse student population, elevating and affirming their identities through an intersectional framework that champions student success,” the SDP said in their mission statement.
Let's not elevate their accomplishments, because these sad sack poster children for discrimination have done nothing to deserve the accolades being heaped upon them. Because those accolades are as a result of the genetics of skin color or the coincidence of geography. Oh...wait! Sexuality is the outlier here! So being a furry or a homosexual or a pan-gendered non-binary goat-f*cker makes you special, and deserving of government sanctioned elevation to some special rank within the unfathomable hierarchy of current cultural fashion? Public discrimination is vile. Government has no right to make these choices, because they are using our tax money to fund their racialist insanity. How this differs from the universally reviled apartheid of South Africa is a question for those who love to discuss how many angels are dancing on the head of a pin. There is no substantive difference, and it is a vast crime and profound rejection of everything we as a country have strived for...fought for...died for. What are the social and economic consequences of recognizing (mostly) immutable characteristics as somehow deserving of praise? A truly egalitarian society recognizes accomplishments, success, and the hard work that came before! Please show me the labor, the long hours in the lab and library, the hundreds of hours of late-night reading, the agonizing problem sets, that buttressed (hah) the honor of a special LGBTQBBQ graduation ceremony. Several years ago, my niece and some of her friends were using our swimming pool. Some of the friends were telling off color jokes that involved a variety of racial slurs.
I cleared the pool. I told my niece to never bring those people back to my property again, in front of them. First, because I don't tolerate that shit. Second.. If they use other racial slurs it was only a matter of time before they used one to describe my daughter who is adopted from China.
I have never seen any of those people since then. My niece told her then boyfriend that they were poison.

There is a very small subset of people willing to do that, and even smaller when all the bullshit they have to put up with is revealed. One thing good schools will have to do, is segregate by sex. Adolescents cannot learn effectively with sexual distractions.
While little johnny is being taught to suck cock, 5th graders over in say, India, are learning Calculus. Apparently the “global economy” envisions Americans as twinks and prostitution for the kiddie fuckers.

Why does my half-Mexican ass owe reparations? Most of my ancestors, even on my Dad's side, were dirt poor, and the ones that weren't worked hard (and with some luck) made something of themselves, although it didn't last for more than a generation or two. My grandmother and uncles worked in the fields here in Kalifornistan; how many of them can say their relatives have done the same within an generation or two of their birth?

I can't address other agencies, but he tried this at DoL. The leftists slow walked any initiatives and refused to change the Obama goals. They filed grievances and sat it out. They are still there, the Trump people are the ones who found themselves out of work and had a very difficult time finding jobs. Hatred of Trump permeated the GOP groups as well as the lib private sector. Sounds nice in theory.

For the first time I'm seeing some pushback on the pride bullshit. On some social media sites that have "branded" themselves for it with rainbows people are calling them out. Businesses that advertise online that have "branded" themselves are being called out.

If I ever get to write a new Constitution I'll have the new version of Article III explicitly state that the judiciary is the weakest branch, that it is NOT co-equal to the others, and its rights and responsibilities end with interstate cases, international disputes, and final appellate jurisdiction. No say whatsoever in the Constitutionality of anything, and automatic hanging for any judge that gets it twisted.

The CNN legal analyst is coming up with similar issues. I think it's dawning on some leftists that not only was this a huge mistake for the election but the damage they have done to the judicial system and their own image is going be a big problem for them for a very long time.

They never did, and while Trump's team was prepared to argue all three, of course Juan Valdez the judge wasn't going to allow them to argue that no law was broken in any of the three areas.

They had students who graduated with honors speaking instead of some “imported” star speak. I thought that was good, but they only had two white women and a black man speak. They did a great job but I wrote to the President of the school s and suggested in the interest on inclusivity they might next year also
have a white man speak as well, since quite a few of their students are white men. I also suggested they might have a clergyperson do a prayer since the school was originally founded by a rabbi.

Graduation ceremonies are more tedious than weddings between people you know will be divorced in a couple years.
We have to pretend these idiots are doing something special.
Just mail the diploma.

At my college there were over a thousand graduates. I was the third person to receive his diploma and the only ones who I knew at the ceremony were the two guys in front of me and the guy behind me. The only thing that kept me from dropping dead of boredom was a copy of Suetonius’ “The Lives of the Caesars” I brought with me to read. I read the entire book.
